Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the cricket field to the cowshed. It's the Country
Sport Breakfast with Brian Kelly on Gold Sport.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Everywhere wether. It just took over twenty minutes after eight
o'clock here on the Country Sport Breakfast, it is time
to talk with it with John law from the Midservice Morning.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
John Cura, Good morning. Bit of a.
Speaker 3 (00:26):
Complex low pressure system and the Tezzy affecting a lot
of the country in the next day or two.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
Yeah, definitely. So it's one up towards the north as well,
which is when we're really going to be keeping a
cliss eye as well as it skirts across that northeastern
corner of the country. May bring some must and windyar
weather as we head in towards the start of Saturday,
but it is a fasting bitsistance hopefully clearing off towards
the east pretty quickly as well. But yeah, it's definitely
a very It's been a very unsettled, very changeable week
this week.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
And it looks like sort of the weekend judging by that,
the situation is going to be a bit weird.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
Yes, I think so. I think we've got some weather
perhaps the eastern coast of the south isde the play
through looking for dry weather. Other than that, I think
all of us have got some spells of rain on
the cards as we head in towards the rest of
They've already got that rain rapid cross parts of Auckland
and they have plenty could find some fairly heavy falls
of rain as we head in towards the nighttime tonight.
There are some severe weather watches across parts of Northland,
(01:18):
northern Auckland or corimand or we may find a few
other spots just get added to that as we head
through the rest of the day, particularly places like those
northern parts of tadl Afty up towards east Cape there
and perhaps the eastern part of their plenty. But yeah,
I think it is a situation that keep an eye
on the forecast this weekends. Plenty still happening, and I
think I can find it's hopefully backing with more of
a southwesterly sharry stuff the next week, but the weekend
(01:40):
a real mixed bag.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Is there going to be any relief to the incredibly chilly,
cold cold weather for sort of the Otago region through
central Otago we've seen black ice and cold cold temperatures,
any relief for them.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
I think we'll find it's still pretty cool as we
go through and towards the weekend, I think perhaps temptures
back to the boards normal for the time. Hopefully with
a bit more of a breeze coming through, we'll start
to find some of that low cloud and clogs start
to clear away, which well hopefully you mean our daytown
temperatures and pick back up again highs in Alexander, perhaps
even making any double figures bats as we go through
the next couple of days. But I think it will
(02:14):
take its time just to clear through today, and I
think sell feb of cloud and clog through there, but
hopefully a bit of better weather perhaps for next week.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
And if you can look into your crystal Ball or
Onto weather maps for the West coast of the United
States tomorrow afternoon our time, the All Blacks are playing
Fiji San Diego. How's that looking.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
Well, I've a bit of a quick run across towards
the American Weather Service and seeing what their forecast is
for them, but I think it looks like a pretty
decent day afterwards San Diego, mostly funny, some pretty warm
temperatures as well, so I think we're going to find
high back into the high twenties through there well, so
a pretty decent story and hopefully stay and dry. But again,
I like many spots here, looks like some fog forming
(02:53):
back in San Diego as we head through the nighttime there.
So it's a story for many of us this week
as well.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
And you've had a bit of fog in Willington, I
believe this morning as well.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
Is it cleared When I left my house this morning
it was glorious, and as I got close and closer
to the office, the fog that started to envelop it.
So we got a bit grayer and cloudy as I
got to the office, but hopefully that fogus should lift
to me head thy day. Not a bad looking story
for us today as well.
Speaker 3 (03:13):
Good one, John, nice to catch up mate, have a
great weekend you speak you see John Law joining us
