I did, I did. I thought it was great. I
loved the way everyone was so happy about everything over
there and they go home and they find out what's
going on.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
No, that was great. The success New Zealand was superb.
I thought something.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Highlight the highlight for you from all those Kiwi medals.

Speaker 5 (00:33):
Lisa, Lisa carrying is just that. Yeah, absolutely amazing and
just so determined. You know, she just sits in peddle.
That's what you gotta do.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
Bang. No, it was superb. I was very very good,
very very enjoyable.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
And looking at the sights of Paris. Who makes you
want to.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
Go there to Paris? You love the city? Love it,
love it.

Speaker 5 (00:53):
No, just wondering everyone was wandering around. They're just having
such fun, you know, or loving every minute.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Of it that was good and coming back here a
lot of fun and retail.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
At the moment, things are a little tough, we hear.

Yeah, same stuff every different days, different day. A lot
of produce around, very very reasonable prices. Salads the only
one's really tomatoes and caps comes that time of year
though it's dark and it's cold and it's not much sunlight.
But everything else, plentiful supplies of everything, Brian.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Has been good at the moment.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
So it's almost spring like, although today is a little
on the chili side.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
Two degrees outside. You know, we're late the South Island.
We're down there, we know what it's like.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
But spring is definitely on the way and we'll start
to get plentiful it is.

Speaker 5 (01:29):
Yeah, yeah, you know next month we're going to talk
about strawberries and asparagus and all those sort of things,
you know. But yeah, we've got a couple of weeks ago.
But plentiful supplies of every of all products ready, Brian.
You know, take the greens and lots of broccoli around,
Coulie flowers, good buying, celery leaks, you know, Brussels still there,
you know.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
The salads. Spoke about that. A lot of avocados cheap too.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
They're in season now, are they.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
That's what they very early.

Speaker 5 (01:54):
Yeah, try and get the gas ripen ones if you can,
are the better ones. But you'll only find those and
selected stores.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Will they tell you that gas ripened.

Speaker 5 (02:02):
We just say ripened, okay, but they are riping. They're
lovely compared to the other ones who go funny. But yeah,
tomatoes have just said about it. It's Ozzie tomatoes in the
way over there, which to drop the price down a
little bit. Caps comes the same, I mean the roast
dinners which everyone's having at the moment. Spuds cumla. Just
be care of the cumulator of supplies. Not that plentiful

(02:22):
price is going to move out. Oh yeah, yeah, they
want the prices up, which is going to happen. But pumpkins, onions, carrots,
passed up, all those things. And in the fruit, you know,
eat the local apples. Good supplies here at the moment.
But you know it's August now, so we go into
the stored stuff that's been put away for a while.
Prices will move up there. Pears, oranges cheap, plenty of oranges,

(02:43):
and New Zealand orange is very very good buying. Ossie man.
I was going to go into the imports in a minute.
You know, Kiwi fruit, buy your Kiwi fruit too, it's
very good. Pears imports, Osie oranges, Ossie mandarins, Ossie strawberries
for a little bit of a treat. Really around the
six dollars mark you should be paying. So yeah, nice
strawberries too.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
For a special desser.

Speaker 5 (03:01):
We'll just you know, to make yourself feel happy. Yes,
imported grapes pre pat grapes come from the States to green,
red black grapes, you know in the pun and again
five hundred gram So if you're looking for a treat,
have a look at those ones here.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
They're goodbye.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
That's pretty good news really, although you had a bit
of bad news this morning. Mushrooms aren't coming through.

Speaker 5 (03:16):
I hate these bloody ticks. Businesses caught it to sixth
at night. Mushrooms missed the Truck'll just sort something.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Out in the morning. Yeah, that's really good, thank you
very much.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Never mind, So there we go, looking pretty good.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
So you know, plenty of fresh fruit and veggies.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
Yep, spend your money wisely.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Can't go wrong.
