Speaker 1 (00:00):
Twenty one minutes past seven o'clock. Well on, your general
manager at the All Blacks Experienced Tourist attraction has been
announced and it's the name we know pretty well, leeen Jones,
seventy nine test for the All Blacks one hundred and
five games in total, and he joins us, now, good morning,
come on, congratulations on the appointment.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Yeah, good morning, Craig, Good morning to your listeners, and yeah,
thank you very much made I'm first you, very very
proud of force to represent and be connected to the
All Blacks and the experience and just excited with the opportunity.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Yeah, just tell us a little bit about black Yeah,
tell us. Basically, the All Black Experience represents all of
our teams and Blacks O the All Blacks, the Black fans.
Of course, we've got so much joy to a game,
the mighty All Blacks, the sevens and effectively and all
New Zealanders. Craig will be connected to this. He's so
proud of This is a one hour interactive kind of

(00:52):
tour and it's telling a New Zealand story, a real
strong New Zealand story really through the theme of our
shed love of the game of rugby. So how do
you make and all that quite emotional for people. You
know in New Zealanders do this better than anyone, sets
us up for success all the clubs in New Zealand.
That installing the love of the games. That's how you
make a cricketer, Craig, It's how you make a rugby player,

(01:15):
you make any sports person. You're getting to love the
game first, and we've put that in this country and
then we take them shaping. How do you shape that love?
You know, the skills, the agility, handling, the pressure, a
technical awareness of those clubs things and then we and this
is special because maybe even for you, it's hard to
articulate what it was like within your country. What is

(01:36):
it like being what does it mean to the players
being on all that? So that's that's pretty cool, and
that's what we want to showcase and bring New Zealand
and fans from around the world into this unique team,
this unique club, this incredible, powerful, strong black Jersey. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
I mean you're right, and I mean I've been looking.
I'd love to come and do it when I'm maxtu
you in Auckland and you know, and our professional area come.
I think we you know, times lose sight of you know,
I suppose our traditions and where we came from. But
you know when you look at this and what it's about,
and when you and I grew up our love for sport,
and obviously this is for rugby, you know, came from
that enjoyment. But also when you start to see those

(02:16):
things that you talk about and you talk you're all
blacks talking what it means to be in all black,
it does get the hairs on the back of the
neck going and it really does make us realize and
remind us what it's all about.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Yeah. All one of the strong things of why the
All Blacks have had says so over the years is
connection to the past. We're also the connection to New
Zealanders and that's why when New Zealanders come through and
you're all welcome and any of your listeners turn up,
Craig tell them that I was chatting to you and
off them around. I'll come out and have a talk
to them because accessibility is one of the strong points

(02:48):
of New Zealand sport cricket, netball, Like we basketball, we
want our guys and girls we've seen out and about
in the streets and just giving it better. All that's
is the elder's a lot. That's what all blacks have
done for years. So it's wonderful to be able to
do that, showcase that and make the former players that
come and Craig really proud because it's illegalthy which actually

(03:09):
helped us create with your black experience and not just
the players. As you'll know with your sport. When you
become a black cap or when I become an all black,
your family becomes that, your community becomes that, and it's
those communities in New Zealand, you know, five hundred odd
rugby clubs that actually make our black friends, actually make
our all blacks, and you know we have a big

(03:30):
base at the bottom of our peak is pretty high.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Absolutely, come out. I've got to keep moving out alright,
as like when you've got new sport and with the
coming our congratulations on the role and what I do,
I reach out because next time on Auckland, I definitely
want to come along and have that experience and you know,
live through it and then get those years on the
back of mind.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Next standing up, yep, Craig very quickly if you do
September October, just free parking. Tell them become a kid.
Did you have a free parking. We'll look after you.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Also, listeners appreciate I thank you very much for your
time this morning, Hamma, when all the very best, I
got my cheers
