Lewis, good morning, how we're doing today?
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Very well? Thank you. Now we'll touch on Cape Town's
weather in just a couple of moments. But we've got
a big match in rot to Ur tonight with the
NPC rot Aur It's Bay of Plenty playing one or two.
What's the weather going to be like for that one?
Speaker 3 (00:32):
Looking good, really like winds, maybe a bit of cloud around.
It's going to be not too cool, but I think good,
good footy conditions.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Just looking at the rest of the country across the weekend,
it looks like the South is going to be The
South Island's going to be beaten up a wee bit.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
Yes exactly. We do have another very active front moving
up the country in a sort of southwest trajectory. Ahead
of that very strong northwesterly winds. We've already got a
lot of strong wind watches across the the windier parts
of the country for the northwest winds head of that.
That front is going to bring a good burst of rain,
but it is moving very quickly, so it doesn't look
back place is going to see huge accumulations, but as
(01:10):
it comes through it could be briefly heavy in I
know around Wellington it's very sodden, so puddles will occur
very quickly. But that is kind of the weather feature
for the weekend, moving quickly clearing the North Island around
midday on Sunday. So I think you could find a
window to get outside and do some things this weekend.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
But it might be a brief winter short chat burst
of weather. But spring is definitely with us now, isn't it.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
Yes, absolutely, And I mean I've seen weeks of these
very fast moving systems moving across from the west and
it does look like they sort of that story continues
into next week, not looking as potentially severe as this one.
But yes, there will be more fast moving whether systems
next week, high lingering around in the teesidents, so we
might see some clearer weather around the middle of the week.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
All right, So the old Blacks are playing in Cape
Town Sunday morning, New Zealand time, It'll be what Saturday
afternoon over there. What's the conditions going to be like
for that game?
Speaker 3 (02:03):
Well, I've got a big high pressure system nearby. It
is going to mean some cool somebody wins across Cape down,
so conditions will be on the chilliest side, but at
least it will be It will be clear, will be sunny.
That wind isn't two windy, so it because yeah, again,
be good conditions for free Lewis.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
