Today in history love, there's a burning thing.

Yes, a day in history being the twelfth of September,
and we lost an absolute music legion today. Twenty one
years ago Johnny Cash, country music icon, died in Nashville
at the age of seventy one of heart failure.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
I fell out into a ring on fire.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Left us with so many great albums and souls. Well,
we'll take you back to nineteen eighty one and it's
a test match, not so much remembered for the result
and it was pretty close, but remembered for the off
field activities. It was the third and deciding Test at
Eden Park between the All Blacks and South Africa, and

we remember it for the flares and the flower bombs
dropped onto the pitch from a lot plane. With a

singer Ria Mouldham. This was a big hit for her

it or not, Happy birthday to Maria Mulder from the
band America. Comes Jerry Beckley now a duo that were

three members of that band, but Jerry Beckley, he turns
seventy two today. Great band. Happy birthday to Jerry today. Oh,
it's Linda Gray's birthday, American actress. She was Sue Ewing
on Dallas also Melrose Place. She's eighty four today. Country
music star Jennifer Nettles. Happy birthday to Jennifer Nettles. She

is fifty today. A couple of country music star's birthday.
Reubens Studart had a big hit with Flying Without Wings
this one and then became on the American Idol as well.
He's forty six today. Actress Jennifer Hudson. It's a forty

third birthday today. And one of my favorite country music
stars out of the US, Kelsey Ballerini, is thirty one today.
