you know, I watched that live and I had a

At this morning and it's quite quite a bizarre sort
of situation, like I'm not ready to be sure, it's
sort of white. I made then when the priests out
there to drive over and been super aggressive, and I'm
trying to sort of sort of look the BRIT's an

boat is better in the light air than the Kiwi boat.

No, I think. I think if you had to, if
you had to pick a horse get away, you'd still
you'd still take the Kivy boat, and and and the
way that they've been sailing it overall as a whole,
I think is up until now, you know, you know
four now it was kind of people obviously thinking they're
a exilarly and thinking it was going to be a whitewash.

I think if you had to put one of the boats,
you'd take TEMI you on. But there really isn't a
huge amount to put between the two for sure, So
a lot of it's just coming down to the pre
start and how you sail the boat and not making
any mistakes. And to give the Key's credit, they've done
that really well in the first four races. And then yeah,

I guess Overnight maybe probably probably pretty critical with themselves
and made me one or two mistakes and a little
bit of a solid sild of luck. I've gone to Bridgeway,
So I think, you know, the good news is for
the sailing fans. You know, this is coming down to
the prestarts and how are you going to sail the
boat around the racetrack.

And it's proving that those prestarts and who gets who
gets the best start. Really, I mean that's probably one
of the most important aspects of the race, isn't it.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
Yeah, I mean even more so than I guess last
except even though they're the same boats. I think just
the conditioned you know, really sort of played a huge
card in these boats and how much you know, disturbed
there they sort of get in the pre start, you know,
from from around the racetrack. So I think that's quite

cool as a sailing thing, you know. You see, it's
not just about it's not the faster voters a year
about hey you sailed and the technics behind it as well.

So it's alive and well. Now with four to two
in the in the series, they get another day off today.
I guess, well, team he's going to be working on
their boat again. I mean Britannia went out on the
day off yesterday, didn't they.

Yeah, for sure. I mean they're always sort of trying
to develop and push the invelope as baruts the can
There will obviously be a lot of inputment designers on
how you can improve the boat, and there'll be feedback
for the sailors on what the performance was like from
the previous days. But yeah, I wouldn't I certainly wouldn't
panic if I was if I was a Kiwi sating

than right now. I still the boats definitely fast, and
you know it's just going to come down to extinction.
And the guys on board the West they don a
really good job in the first four races, and there'll
be pretty critical on themselves overnight and how they can
improve that to try and keep them mentum rolling it.

Yeah, exactly. And I mean the probing about the format
two races a day, and obviously the conditions bearing and
I mean one way or another, you know there's going
to be at least two more days of racing. That
could go to six two or it could go to
four all you know, so that'll be very intriguing and

momentum and sport is a funny thing. Hopefully both the
teams have sort of got all their equipment and everything
nailed down to a tee and there's no sort of
gift out, but that could play a parton as well
