And I'm telling When Mike says that David at the
Corners arriving tomorrow morning, I said, sweet on you, good boy,
most of you. I love the guy swot corn. Yes,
so a few days early we were told next week originally,
but no arrived in Auckland yesterday. Came down to us today.
So we're going south as the days go by, so
southuland should have it by the weekend.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
But there is a big, big bat to this.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Yeah, it's not cheap though, a small mortgage, yes more one. Yeah, yeah,
just don't look grab it at sweet Corner. It's lovely too,
nice and fresh from up north up there Bell's Gardens.
The main supply from up there, So no, no, you'll
be heavy, but it will oh yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
Given another three or four weeks we've been down. Yeah,
good for Christmas, and watermelon's been in there for Christmas
week two, they're saying up north, so yeah, there's something

else to look forward to.

There's a little bit of good news. And also some
summer fruits on the stone.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Yep, I get the cool yes to. When I've got
the peaches have arrived, I said, good, let's have a
look at them first, because you've got to judge the
size and everything. Beautiful big peaches, yes, nepterines, apricots, peaches
and cherries too. Not cheap, none of them, but very
very nice. And it reminds you of summer, you walking
into the nice summer day sun shining stone fruit, corn ore.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
The peaches juicy, Yes, I love a peach when you
bite into them and juice just scripts out. Or Baker's
I'm a good shit A bit like that, yea.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
And the other thing too is tomato prices mate up
North up here at two dollars ninety nine akilo for
tomatoes now about a month six weeks ago there were
twelve ninety nine achilo, so that is very very good buying,
So please buy your tomatoes folks all around the North
Island anyway.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
I have a feeling they'll get even cheaper Dot tug.
It's going to be a good year for tomatoes. I'm
just judging by my crop I've got growing at home.
It's good. That looking good, and I think, wow, I
think we're in for a good tomato year.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
All your surs are cheap cucumbers, caps, cos, avocados. They're
all very good, good buying their lettuces, greens, broccoli, cauliflower,
local coustes and asparagus do cause it's cheap as down
around the five dollar achilo marc max. And that's very
very good buying.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
So you get a few courseetes for aquiloh.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Yeah, you get about three big ones, you know, four
big ones for that. It's good, it's good. And then
you got the berries, of course, talk about too, strawberries, raspberries,
blackberries and blueberries. Everything's there. Strawberries, good buying, blueberries too,
the beautiful blueberries. Every morning, have some blueberries.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Love it. Thirty five days till Christmas. And when we
think Christmas, you talk, you talk cherries. It's the cherry situations.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
It's just started Hawks Bay to start with them and
to move south from then Nelson then down to central Otago.
So no, no, they're looking good. They are nice because
we have to taste test when we get these things,
you know, not cheap though, control, that's the control. It's
really good summertime stuff. Mate. Yeah, she's all looking good.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
And of course I guess we should put the word
of caution out. Some things are expensive, but they're the
seasonal for Yeah, don't look at those. You know, there's
a just city can run through that list of things
very reasonable. You know, its sound is going to cost
you not much at all, ten bucks. You know, you've
got to kill a tomatoes, cucumbers, caps, cos avocados and
let us you know, it's.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Not too bad at all. It's fantastic good news on
the fruit and vigi side.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
And that rain that we had sort of end of
last week there were actually been quite good for yeah, now.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Baking the strawberries a little bit for a couple of days,
but we were too heavy. But no, that was good.
Very Everyone was saying thank you because we needed the rain. Yeah,
but now the weather has been not too bad. You know,
it's getting twenty degrees most places time. Oh yeah, yeah,
it's arriving.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
All right, there we go, and excited David Stewart, the
corn has arrived a sweet corner to be in a
shop near you. I guess in the next few days,
really have the next few days you'll all have it.
