to you in living color, but you're watching in the
Americans love television.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Kids USA television.
Speaker 3 (00:11):
Matt, You've not watching too many of those live television shows.
Speaker 4 (00:16):
I just want to do a disclaimer telling you, if
you haven't watched Tell Me Lies on Hulu that what
it is. Don't watch Tell Me Lies on Hulu because
it's an awful show.
Speaker 5 (00:26):
There's no one to root for. They're awful characters, but
it's addictive.
Speaker 6 (00:31):
It is ridiculously it's.
Speaker 5 (00:33):
Like starting a nicotine habit. Don't do it.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
This is from Santa Rosa Valley. Have a little bit
of a cold today, But now I need to know
what is this sex show that they are giggling about
that I have not seen. I'm pretty sure that sex
shows help with cold anyway, everybody, have a good day.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
Help her with the cold. Is that the show that
you guys were talking about?
Speaker 4 (00:57):
No?
Speaker 1 (00:57):
I wait what, No, it's not the show what you
guys were talking about the.
Speaker 7 (01:04):
Show earlier Tell Me Lies. Okay, so that is the
show on Hulu. Yes, okay, that's awful.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
She wants it to cure her.
Speaker 5 (01:10):
I don't want her to start.
Speaker 4 (01:11):
Tell me that there's tons of other sex shows out
there that you could watch that don't make you feel
as bad as Tell Me Lies does.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Yeah, you kind of feel like a loser.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
I feel like a freaking loser, Like, why are they
in this relationship?
Speaker 5 (01:23):
And why am I in this relationship with this show?
Speaker 1 (01:25):
I mean, my daughter said to me, you're watching that.
Speaker 5 (01:28):
You like that?
Speaker 1 (01:29):
I felt so embarrassed.
Speaker 4 (01:30):
Well, I don't know why you told your daughter, and
then he threw me under.
Speaker 6 (01:34):
The because you're the one that recommended it to me, Shannon.
So I just said Baron recommended.
Speaker 5 (01:39):
My creepy coworker.
Speaker 6 (01:42):
Well, Joe Kwan recommended Disclaimer And that's a little racy too,
not little. Well, you have not seen true, you have
not seen tell.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
Me You're right, I have not seen the tell Me
Lies thing. But I saw episode three of Disclaimers.
Speaker 6 (01:55):
I'm not there yet. I'm not there yet.
Speaker 7 (01:57):
And what happens it's a lot of Listen, I am
a married man, right, But you blushed, Well, there were
point I didn't blush for what was going on.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
I blushed for how did they how did they film that?
Speaker 5 (02:11):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (02:11):
And I mean I know that that's a there's a
whole industry if they film it and it's real, but
there's also there's an industry of filming it the not
real stuff to make it look real. And I don't
know how they do that, I don't know. And how
do you get the two people who are supposed to
be doing the things in that scene and then not
(02:33):
doing those things.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
But it sure looks like they're doing those things.
Speaker 5 (02:38):
Is it a good show? I know it's number one
or what.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
There's a couple of things about it. First of all,
Kate Blanchett. I really love everything she does. She's fantastic.
She's not really going out of her way here. But
it's a thriller. I'll say that, Okay, it's a thriller.
So there's like a lot of questions, the unanswered things,
and they kind of in the little pieces as they
go through these episodes. Sasha Baron Cohen plays her husband
(03:06):
in a role that you don't expect from him. He's
a really good dramatic actor and he does a good
job in this one. First three episodes here, and then
Kevin Klein, I mean, you know, Kevin Klein comes back.
You haven't seen him for a long time. Comes back
with his British accent because it takes place in England,
(03:28):
and it was a he's really good, this kind down
and out sort of a destitute old guy by himself.
And I can't give away too much about what's going
on simply because it would ruin some of the tells
of the show. But it's it's really well done. It's
just that third episode is a is.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Again.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
It's not that I'm shocked by what it is. I
think of, how do the actors do those scenes? And
then they're just like, hey.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
You want to be up for like tacos later or something?
You and grab a beer?
Speaker 5 (04:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (04:04):
Well, yes, I'm sure they don't talk like that, but
I would just wager a guest. So you haven't had
to do any of that with your adult male theater.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
No, you've seen the shows that I've done.
Speaker 5 (04:16):
Yes, No, what if something came to your table.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
I wouldn't do that a script, I wouldn't do that.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
Okay, what if it was like Julia Roberts or like
an A list celebrities.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Julia, what is it nineteen ninety six?
Speaker 5 (04:33):
I was trying to pick someone age appropriate.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
I am enough out of you.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
We'll continue with what you watch on Wednesday hear age
appropriate in just a minute.
