KFI AM sixty.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Oo. Yeah, yeah, what's up for this weekend? If you
know what's sting for this weekend, just listen to Nick.
He's your friends to find fun things to do and
see and all that's on the scene from visibles, museums
not very far a Disneyland. You can bet that Nick

(00:32):
knows what's surrounds O come this weekend, is hoping Hdney
collyo Kinny, So tell us what's doing? What should we
go do and see? This weekend is coming Ridney callio Kinney.
For now there is the plan to Nick tell us

(00:53):
so you can next weekend Nick tell us Nick, what's
going on.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
It's a big weekend here in Los Angeles. I am
going to bring you non Halloween stuff first, but then
I've got a few more things. Because I had a
busy weekend. I didn't Opening Night Nott's Berry Farm. I
did Opening Night at Dark Harbor at Queen Mary, went
back to knots Berry Farm, and then also went and
visited at Magic of the Jack Lanterns in the South Bay.
So I'll kind of tap on all those. But it's
comic Con weekend here in Los Angeles, so not the

(01:32):
massive one that you're used to in San Diego, but
La Comic Con. It was funny because as I was
prepping before listening to Kimmel, there's a lot of celebrities,
so like Kristin Ritter, who I think is Jessica Jones
or was Jessica Jones?

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Correct?

Speaker 3 (01:47):
Thank you. Also, I mean you've got the entire lineup.
You've got Matthew Lillard, Skeet Ulrich and Jamie Kennedy from Scream.
You have Charlie Cox from Daredevil. You've got Elizabeth Olson,
who is obviously well if you don't know what's coming
up on Disney Plus not to plug them, but Zombies.
Marvel Zombies is coming out tomorrow. Actually it'll be out

(02:09):
tonight at midnight, so if you're into that, but it's
a huge event going on. And then also there's a
huge celebration going on for Pokemon because Mega Evolution is
happening this weekend. I'm not a huge follower of that,
but if you are familiar by chance with the existing
Pokemon trading card game, Mega Evolution Discovery experience is happening

(02:31):
in downtown LA. You can still get details about that
and so much more at the Lincoln Bio this weekend,
when nick I made sure to preload it all so
all the details are there, you don't have to wait
and to catch it afterward. And what's great about the
Pokemon event is it's free ninety nine. You know, we
love to keep it that way. Lots of activities happening.
The forty fourth edition of Fascination of Orchids International Festival

(02:51):
Orchids and Exotic Plants that's happening in Orange County at
the Santanna Zoo this weekend. You've also got the other
art fair that's happening in La And then to give
you some free ninety nine things that are coming up
Montana Avenue Art Walk in Santa Monica this weekend Saturday
from eleven to six that will be underway. And then
something if you're looking for a healthy way to get

(03:12):
into the spooky season kind of idea. La Fright Club,
which is the original horror fitness brand established back in
twenty twenty one, so not that long ago. They have
meetups and this Sunday, bright and early, way too bright
and early for me, but right early at seven point thirty,
you can meet up at the Griffith Park Old Zoo
and they'll be taking you on a tour through all
of the kind of catacombs of the Old Zoo itself.

(03:34):
And yeah, there's a lot. There's actually a lot going
on this weekend. You also have on Saturday the Riverside
Art Music Festival happening. That's free ninety nine available to
all ages and gain details at this week of Nick
or Nick Poliochanni on social media. The Art Walk in
Ventura is happening both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. And yeah,
that's it, and I've got so much else coming on.

(03:55):
I'll be down at Lego Land this weekend to bring
some break retreat stuff. Check out this week od Nick
or Nick Poliochani on Instagram. You can see all these
activities that have been able to kind of check out.
I'm kind of slowly but surely pushing out more and
more video teases of exactly what I was able to experience.
And then I've got a whole bunch more coming up.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Is it like a crescendo as you get closer to
Halloween and your birthday where it ramps up in anticipation
and excitement for you.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Yes, it definitely is anticipat patient patient, But yeah, I
would say, yes, I'm actually working on possibly going south
of the border, which I'm very excited about right now.
Six Flags because it is now an owner of Cedar
Fair Parks, which is not Sperry Farm. They're actually taking
a not Sperry Farm in Buena Park, is partnering with

(04:43):
six Flags Mexico in Mexico City, and so I'm actually
might be bringing you south of the border. Fun and
excitement that would be because then you've got Deding, moor Thos,
and you've got so many other things that are involved.
But yeah, it's definitely reaches a crescendo. The weirdest thing
that we've talked about for weeks on ends now, and
everybody's well aware because Costco, the decorations, target Walmart. Halloween

(05:03):
comes so early, just like literally right around the same
time that you're seeing back to school coming out of
the fourth of July is when everything hits the stores.
So I would say, yeah, it's kind of the crescendo coming,
But you have to think we're still in September and
I've got an entire thirty one days of my birthday month,
and so much more to bring you, including things going
on down in San Diego, some stuff in Ventura, and

(05:26):
hopefully I'll be taking a trip up to Las Vegas
to bring you some of Horror Unleashed from Universal, which
is their new year round install. That'll be at Area fifteen,
which is across the fifteen Freeway from the Las Vegas trip.
Sound kind of busy, it's kind of busy, But I
love coming here. That is no, no, no, but it's like it.
I love coming here and talking about it with you

(05:48):
and talking about it with the momigos and the chat
just because I really want you to get out there.
It's like the Knight of the Jacks or sorry, Magic
of the jack O Lanterns. The Night of the Jacks
is also fantastic. That's out ed in Calabasas. But Magic
of the jack O Landers happening at South Coast Botanic
Garden that's already underway. That's fun for all ages. It's
a great our after dark event. Yeah, there's just so much,

(06:11):
and especially this year. I mean we've got Blackout which
is coming to the La Fairplex. Yeah, I got so
much more. We got time for more. Well, I'm glad
we got time for more, but we're good.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
We can do.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
This is good for tonight. I kind of just threw
it all out there, like let it fall on the table.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
