Speaker 3 (00:10):

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Mine, turn on my radio.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Just inside Tiffany, how's gotta feeling fun?
Speaker 4 (00:20):
Jay Saturday.
Speaker 5 (00:25):
Ok I AM six forty Live everywhere on the iHeartRadio app.
It is Saturday with Tiffany from five to seven tonight,
Like we are here every Saturday, and it is a
beautiful It's understated, but it is a beautiful weekend here
in the Southland. If you are in the Southland and
(00:45):
you are no doubt enjoying this kind of change in
the weather, enjoy it because the other weather that we
just left will be back next week. But we are
getting a reprieve from the gloom and the gray and
the overcap and the chili temperatures to have these nineties
and hundreds out in the desert and high eighties and
(01:07):
just wonderful, wonderful summer like temperatures to usher in this
wonderful Mother's Day weekend. Happy Mother's Day to all of
the mother's mother figures, whether you had a child and
mother that child, or you chose to mother children and others.
Thank you for all of your sacrifices, and if your
(01:30):
family members are no longer here, then I hope that
you are doing something to make you you feel good
and to remember those memories. I know Mother's Day can
be a mixed bag for quite a few people, but
I hope that this show again offers you another sort
of reprieve. Like the weather, right, we don't want to
have the gloomy feelings. We want to have the beautiful,
sunny and warm feelings.
Speaker 6 (01:51):
So we have a.
Speaker 5 (01:52):
Beautiful show ahead. Definitely a fun show for Mother's Day weekend.
We'll definitely get into some of the things that you
can enjoy starting today.
Speaker 6 (02:02):
Now.
Speaker 5 (02:02):
Obviously there are things going on right now, and I
want you to listen.
Speaker 6 (02:06):
I don't want you to leave.
Speaker 5 (02:07):
I want you to listen, and I'll let you know
what's happening tonight, and of course what's happening tomorrow that
will be in our Mother's Day round up kind of
around five thirty, we'll get into all of that.
Speaker 6 (02:18):
At five point fifty, my mother will be coming on.
Speaker 5 (02:21):
My Mom, She'll be coming on to no doubt, embarrass
me with stories. I hope, I really hope she has
some good stories she can share that will let you
learn a little bit more about me and as well
as her. You know, just as my mom, she was
definitely a mother or a woman before she was my mother,
(02:42):
and she has a whole life before me, and she's
going to talk about her own mother as well, who's
no longer with us. But I'm really looking forward to
you guys being able to meet my mom at five
fifty at.
Speaker 6 (02:53):
Six o'clock, we'll take those deeper. We'll have a deeper dive.
Speaker 5 (02:56):
We'll take a look into what's going on with chat
GPT on college campuses, high school campuses, and how chat
GPT is affecting the integrity of education. I'll let you
know what's going on and how educators are hoping to
be able to combat that.
Speaker 6 (03:15):
And to start.
Speaker 5 (03:17):
All of this off, I want you to send in
your talkbacks. I really want to hear from you about
your mother, about your mother figure, and I want to
play those talkbacks throughout the entirety of the show. So
go to the iHeart app and hit that talkback button.
Tell us your best memories, your well wishes for your
(03:38):
mom mother figures to make this an even happier Mother's Day.
And to start everything off, we have a weather warning.
We have a weather warning. You know it because you're
out in it. I almost took a long walk today
and decided against that lest I have heat stroke and
(03:59):
not make it into this because it was in the
nineties in La and La County. Officials have warned that
today is a part of this weather warning and the
high temperatures they're saying are likely to cause heat related
dangers today, for the rest of today.
Speaker 6 (04:19):
And maybe even into tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
They're kind of going back and forth on whether or
not they want to extend that warning. But that warning
goes out to the Santa Clarita Valley, all of the
mountain areas, Agra Hills, the Valley, San Gabriel West, San
Fernando Valley, Santa Susanna Mountains, pretty much all around the
south Land, and it's supposed to pull off a bit
tomorrow ten degrees or so and even cooler throughout the
(04:46):
rest of the week. So if you get out in
that weather, seriously, please be careful. Let us know what
you plan to do for this Mother's Day in that
talk back as well, and if you take your mother out,
be foe warned. Is hot is hot out there, so
be careful. No what else is hot, Well, the engines
(05:07):
of all those people on the road who think they're
in a race car video game, some sort of simulation.
But the CHP has had enough, Thank god, let's find
out what they're doing.
Speaker 6 (05:20):
To crack down.
Speaker 7 (05:21):
To be taking an incognito approach to cracking down on
what it calls video game style driving, the agency is
rolling out a new fleet of black Dodge Durangos designed
to blend in with other cars. They'll be positioned to
immediately detect dangerous drivers who are speeding, weaving in and
out of traffic, and exciting road rage confrontations. One hundred
(05:42):
of these SUVs will be deployed in the coming days.
HP says there are nearly one thousand reports of reckless
driving in California every day and three hundred and ninety
thousand crashes every year.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
They're gonna nab a lot of people, yep. Because people
know to look for a black and white or if
it's a supervisor all white unit. They know what kinds
of cars they drive, all that kind This is going
to catch a lot of people, and good for them
because I've always you know, many of us have been like, oh,
where's where's a police officer when you need when you
see something nutty happening, you're like, oh, I wish there
was an officer here to stop that. Now there will
(06:15):
be perhaps.
Speaker 5 (06:16):
That's definitely my sentiment. Where are the officers? We see police?
We know there are police out there, We know there
are funding issues, that there are staffing issues, but it
does feel like there are fewer police on our surface
streets and definitely on our freeways to interact with these
drivers who are driving absolutely crazily through southern California.
Speaker 6 (06:41):
I've seen it, You've seen it.
Speaker 5 (06:43):
I say hell yes to one hundred unmarked cars, unmarked
Dodge Durangos to hit our highways. But I feel like
we need one hundred on every highway, especially the one
on one where people are weaving in and out of traffic.
Happened to me on the way here, watching people drive erratically,
(07:03):
and I feel like we need one hundred on our
surface streets alone. I saw just yesterday a lady speed
to the front of traffic. Everyone was waiting at a
red light, and she sped to the front, down the
turn lane and then cut off the front car.
Speaker 6 (07:23):
I'm sure you've seen that.
Speaker 5 (07:24):
Trying to just get ahead of traffic while we're at
a red light, and of course, while the rest of
us are waiting patiently and legally, she's sitting up there
expecting the light to turn green and for her to
just take off and be at the front of the pack.
And that's what she did. But what she didn't know
is that there was an unmarked car a few cars back.
(07:47):
And it was so gratifying to see that police car
pull over that lady. And as I pass by to
see that lady's look, like the look on her face
of just uttered feet and embarrassment, I felt so good,
felt so great because we want that to happen, and
(08:07):
we very rarely see it. This is, of course taking
place on our highways. Hopefully this will be something that
is instituted on our surface streets.
Speaker 6 (08:16):
When we come back.
Speaker 5 (08:18):
I'm gonna give you an update about another road rage
incident that happened over a year ago.
Speaker 6 (08:24):
It was all over the news. Remember that guy who
was in.
Speaker 5 (08:27):
A tesla and he kept getting caught on video hitting
people's cars with a pole and attacking people and cutting
people out. Well, he did get arrested, but there's an
update to his case and it is indicative of what
is exactly wrong with our justice system here in California.
I'll tell you about that and more when we come
(08:48):
back on the other side of the break. KFI AM
six forty Live Everywhere on the iHeartRadio App. It's Saturdays
with Tiffany Here with You until seven.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
You're listening to KFI AM six forty on demand.
Speaker 5 (09:02):
Hey if I AM six forty Live everywhere on the
iHeartRadio app. Tiffany Hobbs here with you. It's Saturdays with Tiffany.
Keep those talkbacks coming in. I really want to know
about your mom. Want you to wish your mom a
happy Mother's Day so we can play it on air.
We're getting talkbacks about other topics and we'll get to those,
but I want to hear your talkbacks for your mom,
(09:22):
So hit that button on the iHeartRadio app and we'll
play them throughout the show.
Speaker 6 (09:27):
And you can tell your mom that she's going to
get a shout out on air.
Speaker 5 (09:30):
That's a great little gift, great little pre gift. Before
this Sunday, let's get back into this topic of the
Tesla road rage driver.
Speaker 6 (09:39):
There's an update.
Speaker 5 (09:41):
Last year on camera, there was a man who was
assaulting drivers. This went on for actually a couple of years,
but last year the video footage really went viral. His
name is Nathaniel radamac and he's known as the Tesla
road rage guy. Well, on the way here, actually saw
some road rage that made me think of this story.
(10:03):
I am heading to the one on one I see
a couple of drivers in a single lane trying to
jockey for position. Both of them had the same car, ironically,
and they're basically playing leap frog against oncoming traffic, just
trying to best the other one. I thought it was
a game at first, you know, people drive crazily until
one of the people got out of the car and
(10:24):
approached the other car at a red light and an
almost fight ensued. Little disappointing. I felt robbed of the moment,
kind of wanted to see some fireworks. But fortunately everyone
was able to go home to their families, hopefully safely.
Speaker 6 (10:40):
But it did almost escalate.
Speaker 5 (10:42):
This situation with Nathaniel Radamack escalated relentlessly over three years,
leading to his eventual arrest and sentence of five years
in prison. The update is he's out. He's out after
doing just one year of that five year sentence and
(11:04):
he got arrested again, not in southern California, where his
crimes took place that led to his eventual arrest, but
in Honolulu. So he left and he went to the
sunny state of Hawaii and kept up his foolishness, this
time attacking an eighteen year old woman and her mother,
who then pressed charges, leading to Nathaniel's arrest yet again.
(11:29):
He was arrested this previous Thursday and was booked on
multiple counts, multiple multiple counts, and it is said that
he was he got out from our own pen potitentiary
system because he was eligible for credit earning opportunities while
he was incarcerated. So he was a model prisoner, and
(11:52):
he got time off of his sentence and he was
granted a little over a year of time served. Why
he was awaiting sentencing. Hawaii had some very harsh words.
They said that they hope that they will charge this
man in a way and sentence him and keep him
(12:13):
in a way that California was unable to do so.
Our justice system, our lack of follow through and making
sure that these criminals are held accountable, literally held accountable,
seems to be the laughing stock of the other forty nine,
I would say, and this doesn't help at all.
Speaker 6 (12:36):
Something that can help you. Let's say you didn't have
time to get your mother and Mother's.
Speaker 5 (12:40):
Day gift, right, you can't get out, you don't have
the money, whatever the case. Well, if you don't have
the money and you need a quick gift, you can
hit one of the fifty one new kiosks in La
County to grab your mom a present.
Speaker 6 (12:55):
And here's what you can get her.
Speaker 7 (12:59):
This here is a true representation of who I was,
you know, not how the courtroom portrayed me.
Speaker 6 (13:05):
That's the wrong one I would like to make my getas.
I think this is crazy.
Speaker 5 (13:10):
Here it goes up. Wait, there's some technical difficulties. Oh,
producer Kala says she has the audio.
Speaker 6 (13:18):
I don't have the audio. Who has the audio? Has
the audio? Well, guess what I have? What do you
have the details? What's going?
Speaker 5 (13:25):
We don't even need the audio? Tell me, okay, can
you play at a little music under this? Raoul, I
got you. This is what you can get your mom. Ready,
don't don't don't do anything inappropriate, Raoul caulse, I see
you just make it something something nice, something flowery. You
ready got to cue this up because it's a really
good list. Okay, this is wonderful. If you want to
get your mom a free gift, you can hit one
(13:45):
of these fifty one free kiosks around La County. You
can get her COVID nineteen test strips, you can get
her Sentinel test strips, and and you can also get
her condoms.
Speaker 6 (14:03):
You can get.
Speaker 5 (14:04):
Your mom condoms. That'll go over real well on this
beautiful Mother's Day. I've seen billboards. Oh absolutely, that's how
you got here, right, probably the lack thereof. So maybe
you want to reinforce that mom should make good decisions
and get her condoms, because there are billboards all around
southern California encouraging people of a certain age to get
(14:27):
tested for STDs. So obviously our elders are out there shipping,
enjoying themselves, and condoms could very well be in this
necessity And at one of these fifty one new kiosks
you can enjoy free materials.
Speaker 6 (14:44):
Okay, so you can get out there.
Speaker 5 (14:46):
It's all a part of the Community Health Station program,
which was initially established to help with COVID nineteen. They've
continued the program addressing sexually transmitted diseases, drug over and
other things. You can get them in Lancaster, Santa Monica, LA.
(15:06):
In a few different locations. These will be popping up
more and more as well. You can get medication that
can reverse an opio overdoort overdose. Goodness, I'm having trouble
even getting this out. Thank you for the music. Raoul.
Just want to make sure that you are prepared on
this lovely Mother's Day and that you have something so
you don't go into your mother's home empty handed. Hit
(15:29):
these free kiosks, condoms, fentanyl test strips, COVID nineteen kits
and the like.
Speaker 6 (15:36):
I don't know. I think my mom would punch me
in the face if I gave her any of those gifts,
that's sure.
Speaker 5 (15:42):
I mean, you know you're looking out for her health,
is what you can tell her?
Speaker 6 (15:45):
No, not quite.
Speaker 5 (15:47):
Someone will use this information, whether for your mother or not.
Speaker 6 (15:51):
When we come back.
Speaker 5 (15:52):
Aside from condoms, fitnel test trips and COVID nineteen kits,
I'll tell you of other things you can do for
mom this week and this evening into tomorrow to make
sure that this Mother's Day weekend is the best one
you have had yet. Continue to hit those talkbacks or
send those talkbacks so that we can get some feedback
about your mother. Funny stories, funny anecdotes, anything that you
(16:15):
want to share on air about your mom, wishing her
a happy Mother's Day.
Speaker 6 (16:19):
We'll get to all that and more on the other
side of the break.
Speaker 5 (16:21):
It's KFI AM six forty Live everywhere on the iHeartRadio App.
Speaker 6 (16:25):
It's Saturdays with Tiffany.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
You're listening to KFI AM six forty on demand.
Speaker 5 (16:30):
KFI AM six forty Live everywhere on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 6 (16:34):
Saturdays with Tiffany.
Speaker 5 (16:35):
Here we have a talkback from d D and Dede's
talkback is very honest, it's very raw. It's about Mother's Day,
and many of you might share her feelings. I want
you to hear what she has to say.
Speaker 8 (16:49):
Hi, this is DDE in Vegas.
Speaker 6 (16:53):
Just wanted to say my mama.
Speaker 8 (16:55):
Fell a year ago today, the day before Mother's Day.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
She passed.
Speaker 8 (17:02):
Throway, it's a week later and I've been in a
dark hole for a year. So I'm going to honor
her by making her death day my new year, New life.
Speaker 5 (17:17):
DEDI thank you so much for your bravery and sharing
that with us and with so many others, and I'm
sure that someone will feel that. I know I do,
and I know that your words are healing for others
who are going through the same thing because it shows
them that they're not alone. A lot of people are
dealing with loss, and I hope that you can pull
(17:39):
yourself out of that dark hole eventually, starting with today.
Starting with today, we're sending you a big hug. We're
sending you a whole lot of love, and we hope
that you have a beautiful, beautiful weekend. And thank you
for honoring your mom that way.
Speaker 6 (17:55):
Mother's Day.
Speaker 5 (17:57):
You want to get out there, you want to enjoy it,
and here are things you can do around the Southland
from Los Angeles to Orange County. Art, music, food and fun,
a lot of fun. Starting with the Walt Disney Concert
Hall in downtown La. Tomorrow and tonight you can enjoy
(18:18):
the La Dance Project and Benjamin Millipede.
Speaker 6 (18:22):
Show entitled Ritual.
Speaker 5 (18:25):
It is twenty dollars and you can go to the
Walt Disney Concert Hall website for more information. Millipede means
a thousand feet in French, and esteemed choreographer and La
Dance Project Artistic director Benjamin Millipede is using his piece
(18:46):
ritual to combine ballet and classical dance. So if you
want to get out there and see a beautiful ballet,
go down to the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown
Los Angeles tonight and tomorrow, runs through tomorrow.
Speaker 6 (19:02):
And then also there's.
Speaker 5 (19:04):
The La County Fair now until May twenty six. You
can get out to Pomona and enjoy lots of food offerings,
lots of music, and their new theme for this year,
art Unleashed. Tickets start at about eighteen dollars and you
can purchase those tickets online by googling La County Fair.
Speaker 6 (19:27):
That'd be fun.
Speaker 5 (19:28):
Take your mom out there and enjoy all that the
fair has to offer on this beautiful, beautiful weekend. Let's
say you enjoy Bob Dylan Raoul. Do you like Bob Dylan?
Speaker 4 (19:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (19:41):
Actually I do well.
Speaker 5 (19:43):
Torrance at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center has something called
Dylan Fest thirty five, So if you enjoy Bob Dylan,
you can actually participate or engage in a festival, a
music festival, and it starts at thirty five dollars. It's
Torrance's own celebration of Bob Dylan. It features fifty musicians
(20:06):
throughout the afternoon performing sixty of Bob Dylan's greatest songs.
Speaker 6 (20:13):
That could be a lot of fun.
Speaker 5 (20:15):
That's tomorrow noon to eight pm at the Torrance Cultural
Arts Center, Dylan Fest thirty five about thirty five dollars
as well. Let's say you like art well tonight. If
you do need to depart our show, just turn it
on in the car. Enjoy us in the car on
(20:35):

on their campus, all to celebrate art. It's free and

fifty cents and make some new memories while you watch
your mom enjoy all of that classicness.
Speaker 6 (22:30):
If you want to do something.
Speaker 5 (22:32):
A little bougie, a little posh, maybe your mom is
of the posh and bougie variety. She doesn't want to
do the dust Bowl concert, She doesn't want to enjoy
a park or the fair.
Speaker 6 (22:42):
She wants to get pampered.
Speaker 5 (22:45):
Well, the one place that you can get pampered and
experience the epitome of bougieness is definitely at the Waldorf
Astoria in Beverly Hills off of Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills.
They are hosting their Mothers Day Wellness and Afternoon Tea
tomorrow Sunday, and not only will they have brunch at
(23:08):
Espelette with complimentary chair massages and a curated wellness bar,
but they'll also have a prefixed menu on the rooftop
with a live DJ and violinist performances. That's at the
Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills tomorrow. The cost does vary,
(23:29):
but it's the Waldorf. Let's be real, it is not
going to be cheap, so just be prepared to unleash
quite a bit of your hard earned cash and your
mom deserves it or your mother figure. So enjoy that
Waldorf Astoria Mother's Day Wellness and Afternoon Tea. And to
wrap up this part of our Mother's Day segment, you
(23:52):
could also see our own Heather Brooker performing tonight for
a very special Mother's Day show at the Ice House
in Pasadena. It starts right after this show ends. Doors
open at six thirty, show starts at seven, It goes
until eight thirty pm.
Speaker 6 (24:10):

Sorts of talent, including Heather Brooker, who is very, very
funny I've seen her, I've seen her act, I've watched
clips of.
Speaker 6 (24:21):
Her comic act.
Speaker 5 (24:24):
She is extremely entertaining, she is very enjoyable, and Mom
will undoubtedly enjoy herself. You can go to Icehousecomedy dot
com to see Heatherbrooker performing at the Ice House in
the very special Mother's Day Show. That's the ice House
in Pasadena. Tickets are available online. That's our Mother's Day
(24:48):
event wrap up. But this Mother's Day segment is not over.
When we come back, we're gonna hear from my mother, Connie,
and she is going to hopefully share some information, to
share some story, share some fun little tidbits about what
it was like being my mother, as well as what
it was like having her mother. Stay tuned for that
(25:10):
keep sending your talkbacks. Hit that iHeartRadio app. Press that
talkback button. I want to hear about your mom. I
want you to wish your mom a happy Mother's Day,
and I plan to play it on air. So do
that like d D did DEDE. We're sending you a
big hug. All right, We'll be right back. Kf I

Speaker 6 (25:40):
Im what, Kayler, what are you saying? You have a mic? There? Wait?
Is this your aunt? No? Not yet? Oh about your sound?
Speaker 1 (25:47):
Just like that?
Speaker 6 (25:47):
Not yet? Not yet, We'll get to that.
Speaker 5 (25:49):
Spoiler alert, Cayla, you're so excited after talking to my mom.
Speaker 6 (25:54):
I you, I know. And here's why we're going to
talk to my mom.
Speaker 5 (25:59):
Guys Saturdays with Tiffany. I'm Tiffany Hobbs here till seven.
My mother, my mother is everything to me, and she
has so many things to other people as well. And
before she was ever my mother, she was her own
woman and she's had a whole life before me. But
because tomorrow is Mother's Day, I want to celebrate the
(26:20):
mother that she is and the mother that she does
for a mothering that she does for so many beyond myself.
I didn't want to share her growing up, but now
in my oda years, I see the virtue of sharing
my mom because she is endless. She is an endless
supply of all things that are good. She's a real
estate professional, business owner, friend, daughter, aunt, grandmother to my pups.
(26:46):
To my pups, and she is my mom and her
name is Connie Hobbes, but I call her mom.
Speaker 6 (26:52):
Welcome to the show.
Speaker 9 (26:53):
Mom, Hello, darling daughter. Oh happy to be here.
Speaker 4 (26:58):
Oh you're my darling daughter.
Speaker 6 (27:00):
I know, Hi, darling mother.
Speaker 4 (27:03):
Hello.
Speaker 5 (27:04):
We're going to spend the day tomorrow and I can't wait.
You me and Auntie Shirl, your older sister Girl's day out.
My aunt is my godmother as well. And before we
do that, I wanted to bring you on so that
you could tell us, just us girls, a little bit
about your mom. Let's celebrate your mom. I was not
(27:25):
able to meet her, but I feel like I know
her because you certainly keep her memory alive.
Speaker 6 (27:31):
So what are some memories you have of your mom.
Speaker 9 (27:34):
I have so many bond memories of my mother.
Speaker 4 (27:39):
She died.
Speaker 9 (27:41):
She passed away when I was in my twenties, so
most of my memories are when I was a child,
and it was great growing.
Speaker 4 (27:50):
Up in that household.
Speaker 9 (27:52):
My mother was kind of like a leave it to
beaver type mom, and she made breakfast, lunch, and dinner
every day for the family.
Speaker 4 (28:00):
Family. She would get.
Speaker 9 (28:01):
Dressed and we would have to you know, clean up
and sit down for dinner. And we would have family
conferences at.
Speaker 4 (28:11):
Those meals where we could talk.
Speaker 9 (28:12):
About everything, and I was always eager to talk my siblings.
My sisters and my brother weren't too happy about it
if I used to tell secrets. That was the baby,
and your Auntie Schryl said that I was boy. I
probably was, but that's because I was the youngest. I
(28:35):
am the youngest. And when they would go away to
go to school, I would be home alone with my
mom and we did some things then that I guess
the others didn't have privilege of. That's so low time.
We would do so many things together during the day,
and I loved it. So the house for me was
(28:56):
filled with love, laughter, good food. We celebrated. My mother
celebrated every every holiday, your grand every holiday.
Speaker 4 (29:09):
There would be food and.
Speaker 9 (29:12):
Gifts and fun and family. It was just great. And
summertime was special too.
Speaker 4 (29:19):
We would go to this.
Speaker 9 (29:20):
Huge park called Glen Oak Park, and I'll never forget.
I was with Auntie Cheryl. We were hiking. We're supposed
to be hiking, and we had sneaked off and we
were hiking and I started to fall down. What I
thought was a drop off cliff. Oh No, probably was
just a little heel. But your Auntie Cheryl saved me,
pulled me back up. I'll never forget that. I thought
(29:43):
I was gonna die. Oh but it was lots of
fun and we just had a great time. Mom. But
most of all, I remember her loving and caring for me,
my siblings, and my dad. She was a special lady
and a great mom.
Speaker 5 (29:59):
And you are a great mom for sure.
Speaker 4 (30:02):
Oh thank you.
Speaker 5 (30:03):
Everyone says that everyone knows that people who meet you
the first time want you to mother them. You just
have that quality and I'm fortunate to call you mine,
and I'm fortunate to share you. I'm fortunate to share
you as well. So can you share a memory of
your own motherhood?
Speaker 6 (30:21):
Of mothering me?
Speaker 4 (30:23):
Again?
Speaker 9 (30:24):
I had tons of them, those memories as well. My
first memory. My first memory was the moment you were
born and they placed you on my stomach and I
looked at you and the amount of unconditional love I
felt it was like nothing I ever felt before. It
was truly amazing. I knew then I was going to
(30:46):
be your protector, your mother, your teacher, everything that I
could possibly be to make your life happy and a
good one and to make you a good human being,
a decent human human being. I want to say, I'm
so super proud of you for who you became, who
you are being independent, talented, self sufficient, smart, caring, delightful, kind,
(31:12):
funny and loving human being. Well, I be blessed to
have you as my daughter.
Speaker 6 (31:18):
As they say, I get it from my mama.
Speaker 5 (31:20):
Okay, I get it from you, and you got it
from your mom, and you have been the epitome. I
have friends who are wishing you Happy Mother's Day via
my text. They're you know, my my phone is lighting
up with people wanting to say thank you for mothering
them because they've known you for so many years as well. So, Mom,
(31:43):
you are amazing. I love you, I love you, I
love you, and I wish you the happiest Mother's Day.
Speaker 9 (31:50):
Ever, and thank you. And I just want to say
that I am the grand grandma grand to my anie
grand children and my grandpops.
Speaker 4 (32:03):
And you've done that.
Speaker 9 (32:03):

house many times I wasn't aware of.
Speaker 6 (32:08):

and in the closet, which I didn't know about. And
then a month or so later you come out with
this whole setup and said, see, I can take care
of them.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
So you know you were able to keep them.
Speaker 9 (32:24):
You did all kinds of things, climbing on the church walls, roof, going,
going into people's weddings, totally dressed at the church uninvited. Yeah,
the minister says, let them stay. Yes, you crashed wedding.
Speaker 5 (32:43):
And got my posse from the neighborhood to crash weddings.
We dressed up, We were respectful, we were curious.
Speaker 4 (32:48):
We just wanted to sit in the back.
Speaker 9 (32:50):
I went over to apologize, and the minister said, oh,
no problem. They can come anytime to any wedding. It's like, oh,
my goodness, you were you were something. You and your
friends we had a lot of good times. And and
do you remember when we went to Santa Barbara with
Anti Cheryl.
Speaker 4 (33:09):
And Uncle Vern.
Speaker 5 (33:10):
I do, but I gotta, I gotta go if we're
gonna go into something about Anti Cheryl, and it was
you can have so many great memories we could share,
and I know, you know, we could just go on
and on, but I want to reserve.
Speaker 6 (33:23):

to share.
Speaker 5 (33:26):

seconds for something really special. Surprise, and Mom, I want
you to introduce it. This is Auntie Scheryl and her
song Gold, and I want you to introduce it.
Speaker 4 (33:41):
Okay.
Speaker 9 (33:43):
This song Gold was brought to my sister after she
had a stroke in nineteen eighty five. The song came
to her and she's performed it in many, many places.
It's a beautiful song. It's about love, teaching your children
and being a good person, better person, to be the

best you can be.
