(00:00):
You're listening to later with Moe Kellyon demand from KFI AM six forty.
Thank you very much, Thank youvery very much. Wow and thank you
Dana. Thank you Kid Rock sometimesreferred to as Bob, and thank you

(00:26):
Lee. Right from the beginning,Thank you very much. What a talent
for what a beautiful, beautiful soul. Thank you, friends, delegates,
and fellow citizens. I stand beforeyou this evening with a message of confidence,
strength, and hope. Four monthsfrom now, we will have an

(00:49):
incredible victory, and we will beginthe four greatest years in the history of
our country. Together, we willlaunch a new era of safety, prosperity,
and freedom for citizens of every race, religion, color, and creed.

(01:11):
The discord and division in our societymust be healed. We must heal
it quickly. As Americans, weare bound together by a single fate and
a shared destiny. We rise togetheror we fall apart. I am running
to be president for all of America, not half of America, because there

(01:36):
is no victory in winning for halfof America. So tonight, with faith
and devotion, I proudly accept yournomination for President of the United States.
Thank you, Thank you very much, Thank you very much, and we

(02:34):
will do it right. We're goingto do it like. Let me begin
this evening by expressing my gratitude tothe American people for your outpouring of love
and support following the assassination attempt atmy rally on Saturday. As you already

(03:00):
I know, the assassin's bullet camewithin a quarter of an inch of taking
my life. So many people haveasked me what happened. Tell us what
happened, please, And therefore Iwill tell you exactly what happened, and
you'll never hear it from me asecond time, because it's actually too painful

(03:21):
to tell. It was a warm, beautiful day in the early evening in
Butler Township in the Great Commonwealth ofPennsylvania. Music was loudly playing and the

(03:42):
campaign was doing really well. Iwent to the stage and the crowd was
cheering wildly. Everybody was happy.I began speaking very strongly, powerfully and
happily because discussing the great job myadministration did on immigration at the southern border.

(04:05):
We were very proud of it.Behind me and to the right was
a large screen that was displaying achart of border crossings under my leadership.

(04:26):
The numbers were absolutely amazing. Inorder to see the chart, I started
to like this, turned to myright and was ready to begin a little
bit further turn, which I'm verylucky I didn't do. When I heard

(04:48):
a loud whizzing sound and felt somethinghit me really really hard on my right
ear. I said to myself,Wow, what was that? It can
only be a bullet and moved myright hand to my ear brought it down.

(05:13):
My hand was covered with blood, just absolutely blood all over the place.
I immediately knew it was very seriousthat we were under attack, and
in one movement, proceeded to dropto the ground. Bullets were continuing to
fly as very brave Secret Service agentsrushed to the stage, and they really

(05:40):
did. They rushed to the start. These are great people at great risk,
I will tell you, and pouncedon top of me so that I
would be protected. There was bloodpouring everywhere, and yet in a certain

(06:04):
way, I felt very safe becauseI had God on my side. I
help that. The amazing thing isthat prior to the shot, if I

(06:30):
had not moved my head at thatvery last instant, the assassin's bullet would
have perfectly hit its mark and Iwould not be here tonight. We would
not be together. The most incredibleaspect of what took place on that terrible
evening in the fading sun was actuallyseen later. In almost all cases,

(06:57):
as you probably know, when evena single bullet is fired, just a
single bullet, and we had manybullets that were being fired, crowds run
for the exits or stampede, butnot in this case. It was very
unusual. This massive crowd of tensof thousands of people stood by and didn't

(07:26):
move an inch. In fact, many of them bravely but automatically stood up
looking for where the sniper would be. They knew immediately it was a sniper
and then began pointing at him.You can see that if you look at
the group behind me, that wasjust a small group compared to what was
in front. Nobody ran, andby not stampeding, many lives were saved.

(07:51):
But that isn't the reason that theydidn't move. The reason is that
they knew I was in very serioustrouble. They saw it, They saw
me go down, They saw theblood and thought, actually most did,

(08:11):
that I was dead. They knewit was a shot to the head.
They saw the blood, and there'san interesting statistic. The ears are the
bloodiest part. If something happens withthe years, they bleed more than any
other part of the body. Forwhatever reason. The doctors told me that.
I said, why is there somuch blood? He said, it's
the years they bleed more. Sowe learned something. But they just they

(08:39):
just this beautiful crowd. They didn'twant to leave me. They knew I
was in trouble. They didn't wantto leave me. And you can see
that love written all over their facistincredible people. They're incredible people. Bullets
were flying over us. I feltserene, But now the Secret Service agents

(09:03):
were putting themselves in peril. Theywere in very dangerous territory. Bullets were
flying right over, missing them bya very small amount of inches. And
then it all stopped. Our secretsniper from a much greater distance, and

(09:24):
with only one bullet used, tookthe assassin's life, took them out.
I'm not supposed to be here tonight. Not supposed to be here. Yeah,

(10:01):
thank you, but I'm not.And I'll tell you I stand before
you in this arena only by thegrace of Almighty God. In watching the

(10:26):
reports over the last few days, many people say it was a providential moment.
Probably was when I rose surrounded bySecret Service. The crowd was confused
because they thought I was dead, and there was great, great sorrow.
I could see that on their facesas I looked out. They didn't know

(10:48):
I was looking at They thought itwas over, but I could see it.
I wanted to do something to letthem know I was okay. I
raised my right arm, looked atthe thou and thousands of people that were
breathlessly waiting, and started shouting fight, Fight, fight, thank you.

(11:20):
Once my clenched fist went up andit was high into the air. You've
all seen that, the crowd realizedI was okay and roared with pride for
our country like no crowd I haveever heard before, never heard anything like

(11:43):
that. For the rest of mylife, I will be grateful for the
love shown by that giant audience ofpatriots that stood bravely on that faithful evening
in Pennsylvania. Tragically, the shooterclaimed the life of one of our fellow

(12:05):
Americans, Cory Comparator, unbelievable person. Everybody tells me unbelievable, and seriously
wounded. Two other great warriors spoketo them today David Dutch and James Copenhaveer,

(12:30):
two great people. I also spoketo all three families of these tremendous
people. Our love and prayers arewith them and always will be. We're
never going to forget them. Theycame for a great rally. They were
serious trumpsters. I want to tellyou they were serious trumpsters and still are.

(12:52):
But Corey, unfortunately we have touse the past tense. He was
incredible. He was a highly respectedformer fire chief, respected by everybody.
Was accompanied by his wife, Helen, incredible woman. I spoke to her
today. Devastated and two precious daughters. He lost his life selflessly acting as

(13:13):
a human shield to protect them fromflying bullets. He went right over the
top of them and was hit. What a fine man he was. President

(13:39):
shrunk kissing the helmet of the deceasedRalligor. I want to thank the fire

(14:09):
department and the family for sending hishelmet, his outfit, and it was
just something and they're going to dosomething very special when they get it.
But we did something which cannot matchwhat happened, not even TLUS. But
I am very proud to say thatover the past few days we've raised six

(14:31):
point three million dollars for the familiesof David, James and Corey, including
from a friend of mine. Justcalled up. He sent me a check
right here. I just got itone million dollars from Dan Newland. Thank

(14:58):
you Dan. And again when speakingto the family, I told them,
I said, well, I'm goingto be sending you a lot of money,
but I can't compensate. They allsaid the same thing. You're right,
sir, We appreciate so much whatyou're doing, but nothing can take
the place. In the case ofCorey and the other two. By the

(15:18):
way, they were very, veryseriously injured. But now they're doing very
well. They're going to be okay, They're going to be doing very well,
the warriors. So now I askedthat we observe a moment of silence

(15:39):
in honor of our friend Corey. You listen to kfi Am sixty. There
is no greater love than to laydown one's life for others. This is

(16:04):
the spirit that forged America in herdarkest hours, and this is the love
that will lead America back to thesummit of human achievement and greatness. This
is what we need despite such aheinous attack. We unite this evening more
determined than ever. I am moredetermined than ever, and so are you.

(16:26):
So is everybody emotional. Thank you, thank you very much. Our

(16:56):
resolve is unbroken and our purpose isunchained to delivery government that serves the American
people better than ever before. Nothingwill stop me in this mission because our
vision is righteous and our course ispure. No matter what obstacle comes our
way, we will not break,we will not bend, we will not

(17:18):
back down, and I will neverstop fighting for you, your family,
and our magnificent country never and everythingI have to give with all of the
energy and fight in my heart andsoul. I pledge to our nation tonight,

(17:42):
Thank you very much. I pledgethat to our nation. I'm going
to turn our nation around, andwe're going to do it very quickly.
Thank you. This election should beabout the issue use facing our country and
how to make America successful, safe, free, and great again. In

(18:12):
an age when our politics too oftendivide us, now is the time to
remember that we are all fellow citizens. We are one nation under God,
indivisible with liberty and justice for all, and we must not criminalize dissent or

(18:38):
demonize political disagreement, which is what'sbeen happening in our country lately at a
level that nobody has ever seen before. In that spirit, the Democrat Party
should immediately stop weaponizing the justice systemand labeling their political opponent as an enemy
of democracy, especially since that isnot true. In fact, I am

(19:07):
the one saving democracy for the peopleof our country. And very big news,
as you've probably just read, whenMonday, a major ruling was handed
down from a highly respected federal judgein Florida, Eileen Cannon, finding that

(19:33):
the prosecutor and the fake document's caseagainst me were totally unconstitutional and the entire
case was thrown out of court, with all of that publicity thrown out of
court. If Democrats want to unifyour country, they should drop these parties

(19:59):
in witch hunts, which I havebeen going through for approximately eight years,
and they should do that without delayand allow an election to proceed that is
worthy of our people. We're goingto win it anyway, but worthy of
our people. On this journey,I am deeply honored to be joined by

(20:21):
my amazing wife Milania and Melania, thank you very much. You also did

(20:48):
something really beautiful, a letter toAmerica calling for national unity, and it
really took the Republican Party by surprise. I will tell you it was beautiful
in facts, I very serious.People said that we should take that letter

(21:12):
and put it as part of theRepublican platform. That would be an honor,
wouldn'tness? All right, mister Congressman. But it captivated so many So
I also want to thank my entirefamily for being here, Don Kimberly,
Ivanka and Jared, Eric and Lara, Tiffany and Michael Baron. We love

(21:37):
about Baron, and of course myten wonderful grandchildren. You saw a few
of them up there on my lapbefore. And how good was Dana?

(22:03):
Was Dana good? And then itwas he good? You know, he
was on probably the only vacation he'shad and about maybe ever because he works,
but about ten years with his wifevery far away I won't tell you
where, but very very far away, beautiful place. And my people called
and he said, yeah, Iwon't be able to do it. This

(22:25):
is many, many years. Ipromised my wife, I can't do it,
and they came in. They saidDana won't be able to do it
because he was my first, second, and third choice. I said,
well, you know, that's toobad. But I understand he's away and
it's good. It's good for him. And that was it. About thirty
minutes later, she came back in. Sir Dana just called, he's going

(22:48):
to do it. And his wife, she said, you can't turn him
down. You just can't do it. You have to go. That's a
good wife. So he got ona plane. He got here a little
while ago. Now he's going toget on the plane in a little while

(23:11):
and he's going to go back hometo his wife. But they're great,
and I just wanted to thank herand him and their whole family because that's
not easy. And Kid Rock samething called. He said, he said,
I want to be a part ofit. I want to be a
part because you know, Kid doeshis great song, big big monster song.

(23:32):
I had no idea. You know, he became a friend of mine
over the last ten years and he'samazing. Everyone loves him. I didn't
even know how big he was.You know, he has rallies thirty five
forty thousand people he gets every timehe goes out. I think he's making
so much money. He doesn't knowwhat the hell to do with it.
You want to ask. And thenwe have my other friend, and I've

(23:55):
known him so long, and wetook that song and it was a big
success. But we made that.I saw a chart of great Songs to
America that was number one on thechart recently, number one. So that's
Lee Greenwood, very special, beautifulperson. He's a beautiful man. But

(24:18):
they all wanted to be here. They called, and how about the Holkster?
How good was he? So moras? Boy? Oh boy, you
know they may call it, theymay call that entertainment. I know about

(24:41):
entertainment. But when he used tolift a three hundred and fifty pound man
over his shoulders and then bench presshim two rows into the audience, I
said, maybe entertainment, but heis one strong son of a gun.
I will tell you I watched itanytime. There aren't a lot of entertainers
that could do that. Right. You were fantastic, Thank you very much,

(25:04):
followed by Eric, what was thatall about? Boy? That was
good. I didn't want to reallycome up here, but he was so
great and he's such a good youngman. He went through a lot of
trouble and Don last night was incredible. They went through so much trouble.
They got subpoened more than any peopleprobably in the history of the United States.

(25:26):
Every week they get another subpoena fromthe Democrats, crazy Nancy Pelosi,
the whole thing just boom, boom, boom. They've got to stop that
because they're destroying our country. Wehave to work on making America great again,

(25:47):
not on beating people. And wewon. We beat them and all.
We beat them on the impeachments,we beat him on indictments. We
beat him. But the time thatyou have to spend, the time that
you have to spend, I woulddevote that genius to helping our country.
We'd have a much stronger and bettercountry. And Jason, the biggest star

(26:18):
in country music. Jason, thankyou for being here. Jason, thank
you very much. You're listening tosix forty Los Angeles and Orange County.
I like his wife even better bythe way, she's here. Thank you,
Jason. But I'm thrilled to havea new friend and partner fighting by

(26:40):
my side. The next Vice presidentof the United States, the current Senator
from Ohio, jd. Vance andhis incredible wife Ushah. He's going to

(27:07):
be a great vice president. He'sgoing to be great be with this country
and with this movement greatest movement inthe history of our country, make America
great again. When they criticized it, they said, we're going to try
and stop Meg. I said,Meg is making America great again. What
are you going to stop? There'snothing to stop. Then they say,
oh, that's right. It's verytough to fight it, and all of

(27:30):
the people that did try and fightit have failed. But he's going to
be with us for a long time. And there was an honor to select
him. Great great student at Yale. His wife was a great student at
Yale. They met at Yale. These are two smart people. So JD,
you're going to be doing this fora long time. Enjoy the ride,

(28:00):
and a very special thank you tothe extraordinary people of Milwaukee and the
great state of oh There they are, there, they are. That's you
are so easy to spot. AndGreen Bay is gonna have a good team
this year, right, They're gonnahave a good team. They're gonna have

(28:23):
a good team. Most of theaudiences an't like it, but it's true.
You're gonna have a very good teamthis year. And by the way,
Wisconsin, we are spending over twohundred and fifty million dollars here creating
jobs and other economic development all overthe place. So I hope you will

(28:44):
remember this in November and give usyour vote. I am trying to buy
your vote. I'll be honest aboutthat, and I promise we will make
Wisconsin great again. We're gonna makeit. Thank you, the governor,

(29:10):
Thank you very much. Thank you. I'm here tonight to lay out a
vision for the whole nation to everycitizen, whether you're a young or old
man or woman, Democrat, Republicanor independent, black or white, Asian
or Hispanic, I extend to youa hand of loyalty and of friendship.

(29:32):
Together we will lead America to newheights of greatness like the world has never
seen before. We were right therein the first term. We got hit
with COVID. We did a greatjob. Nobody knew what it was,
but nobody's ever seen an economy preCOVID. And then we handed over a
stock market that was substantially higher thanjust prior to COVID coming in. Did

(29:53):
a great job. Never got creditfor that. We got credit for the
war and defeating ices and so manythings. The great economy, the biggest
tax cuts ever, the biggest regulationcuts ever, the creation of space,
force, the rebuilding of our military. We did so much. We did
so much. Right to try,Right to try is a big deal.

(30:15):
We got right to try. Theywere trying to get that for fifty two
years. Somebody is terminally ill,and hopefully there's nobody in this audience,
but it does happen a lot. They're terminally ill and they can't use our
new space age drugs and other thingsthat we areware had. Were the greatest
doctors in the world, the greatestlaboratories in the world, and you can't

(30:37):
do it. They've been trying toget that approved of fifty two years.
Was it that easy? The insurancecompanies didn't want to do it. They
didn't want the risks. The labsdidn't want to do it because if it
didn't work, people are pretty fardown the line toward death. They didn't
want to do it. The doctorsdidn't want to have it on their records.
So I got everybody into an office. Fifty two years. They tried
sound simple, but it's not,and I got them to agree that somebody

(31:00):
that needs it will instead of goingto Asia, Europe or someplace, or
if you have no money going homeand dying, just die. We got
them to sign an agreement, agreeto it where they're not going to sue
anybody. They're going to get allof this stuff. They're going to get
it really fast. And what's happenedis we're saving thousands and thousands of lives.

(31:21):
It's incredible, great to try, that's great feeling. Under our leadership,
the United States will be respected again. No nation will question our power,
no enemy will doubt our might. Our borders will be totally secure,
our economy will soar. We willreturn law in order to our streets,

(31:45):
patriotism to our schools, and importantly, we will restore peace, stability,
and harmony all throughout the world. But to achieve this future, we must
first rescue our nation from failed andeven incompetent leadership. We have totally incompetent

(32:06):
leadership. This will be the mostimportant election in the history of our country.
Under the current administration, we areindeed a nation in decline. We
have an inflation crisis that is makinglife unaffordable, ravaging the incomes of working
and low income families, and crushingjust simply crushing our people like never before.

(32:30):
They've never seen anything like it.We also have an illegal immigration crisis,
and it's taking place right now aswe sit here in this beautiful arena.
It's a massive invasion at our southernborder that has spread misery, crime,
poverty, disease, and destruction tocommunities all across our land. Nobody's

(32:52):
ever seen anything like it. Thenthere's an international crisis the likes of which
the world has seldom been part of. Nobody can believe what's happening. War
is now raging in Europe and theMiddle East. A growing specter of conflict
hangs over taiwan career, the Philippinesand all of Asia, and our planet

(33:15):
is teetering on the edge of WorldWar three. And this will be a
war like no other war because ofweaponry. The weapons are no longer army
tanks going back and forth shooting ateach other. These weapons are obliteration.
It's time for a change. Thisadministration can't come close to solving the problems.

(33:37):
We're dealing with. Very tough, very fierce people. They're fierce people,
and we don't have fierce people. We have people that are a lot
less than fierce, except when itcomes to cheating on elections and a couple
of other things than their fears. Then their fears. So tonight I make

(34:01):
this pledge to the great people ofAmerica. I will end the devastating inflation
crisis, immediately bring down interest rates, and lower the cost of energy.
We will drill, baby, drill. Can you believe what they do?

(34:43):
But by doing that, we willlead a large scale decline and prices.
Prices will start to come down.Energy raised it. They took our energy
policies and destroyed them. Then theyimmediately went back to them, but by
that time so much was lost. We'll do it at levels that nobody's ever
seen before, and we'll end lotsof different things. We'll start paying off

(35:06):
debt and start lowering taxes even further. We gave you the largest tax cut.
We'll do it more. Now.People don't realize I brought taxes way
down, way way down, andyet we took in more revenues the following
year than we did when the taxrate was much higher. Most people said,
how did you do that? Becauseit was incentive. Everybody was coming

(35:28):
to the country. They were bringingback billions and billions of dollars into our
country, the companies. It madeit impossible to bring it back. The
tax rate was too high and thelegal complications were far too great. I
changed both of them, and hundredsof billions of dollars by Apple and so
many other companies. We worked backinto our nation, and we had an

(35:52):
economy the likes of which nobody,no nation had ever seen. China.
We were beating them at levels thatwere in incredible and they know it.
They know it. We'll do itagain, but we'll do it even better.
I will end the illegal immigration crisisby closing our border and finishing the

(36:13):
wall, most of which I've alreadybuilt. On the wall, we were
dealing with a very difficult Congress, and I said, oh, that's okay,
we won't go to Congress. Icall it an invasion. We gave
our military almost eight hundred billion dollars. I said, I'm going to take

(36:37):
a little of that money because thisis an invasion, and we built most
of the wall is already built, and we built it through using the funds,
because what's better than that. Wehave to stop the invasion into our
country that's killing hundreds of thousands ofpeople a year. We're not going to

(36:58):
let that happen. I will endevery single international crisis that the current administration
has created, including the horrible warwith Russia and Ukraine, which would have
never happened if I was president, and the war caused by the attack on

(37:19):
Israel, which would have never happenedif I was president. Iran was broke.
Iran had no money. Now Iranhas two hundred and fifty billion dollars.
They made it all over the lasttwo and a half years. They
were broke. I watched the otherday on a show called Deface the Nation.
Has anyone seen it? And theyhad a congressman who was a Democrat

(37:39):
say, well, whether I likehim or not, Iran was broke.
Dealing with Trump, I told Chinaand other countries, if you buy from
Iran, we will not let youdo any business in this country, and
we will put tariffs on every productyou do send in of one hundred percent
or more. And they said tome, well, I think that's about

(38:00):
it. They weren't going to buyany oil, and they were ready to
make a deal. Iran was goingto make a deal with us, and
then we had that horrible, horribleresult that will never let happen again.
The election result was never going tolet that happen again. They used COVID
to cheat. You're never going tolet it happen again. And they took

(38:20):
off all the sanctions, and theydid everything possible for Iran, and now
Iran is very close to having anuclear weapon, which would have never happened.
This is a shame what this administration, the damage that this administration has
done. And I say it often, if you took the ten worst presidents
in the history of the United States, think of it, the ten worst,

(38:42):
added them up, they will nothave done the damage that Biden has
done. Only going to use theterm once Biden. I'm not going to
use the name anymore, just onetime. The damage that he's done to
this country is unthinkable. It's unthinkable. Together, we will restore vision,
strength, competence, and we're goingto have a thing called common sense making

(39:07):
most of our decisions. Actually it'sall comments. And it just a few
short years ago, under my presidency, we had the most secure border,
in best economy in the history ofour country, in the history of the
world. We had the greatest economyin the history of the world. We

(39:27):
had never done anything like it.We were beating every country, including China,
by leaps and bounds. Nobody hadseen anything like it. We had
no inflation, soaring incomes. We'regoing Nobody can believe it. You can't
believe what happened four years ago ishappening now in reverse, and the world

(39:50):
was at peace. Inflation has beena killer for our country. No matter
what you make it, it doesn'tmatter, because inflation is eating you alive.
People that were putting away money, that were making great wages, the
highest they've ever made, but theywere putting away a lot of money.
Now they are just being destroyed. They're not putting away anything. They're barely
living. They're going into savings accounts. They've taken out their money to live

(40:12):
because of inflation. Inflation. Rememberit's called a country buss. You can
go back to Germany from one hundredyears ago. You can go back to
any country that suffered great inflation. We've suffered the worst inflation we've ever had,
but go back and see what's happenedto those countries. We've had the
worst inflation we've ever had under thisperson. But in less than four years,

(40:37):
our opponents have turned incredible success intounparalleled tragedy and failure. It's been
a tremendous failure. Today our citiesare flooded with illegal aliens. Americans are
being squeezed out of the labor force, and their jobs are taken. By
the way. You know who's takenthe jobs, the jobs that are created.

(40:58):
One hundred and seven percent of thosejobs are taken by illegal aliens.
And you know who's being hurt themost by millions of people pouring into our
country, the black population and theHispanic population, because they're taking the jobs
from our black population, our Hispanicpopulation, and they're also taking them from

(41:22):
unions. The unions are suffering becauseof it. Thank you, Thank you.
I like you too to listen tocamp I am sixty. Inflation has
wiped out the life savings of ourcitizens and forced the middle class into a
state of depression and despair. That'swhat it is. It's despair and depression.

(41:44):
We cannot and will not let thiscontinue. Less than four years ago,
we were a great nation, andwe will soon be a great nation
again. We're going to be agreat nation again. Thank you. With

(42:05):
proper leadership, every disaster we arenow enduring will be fixed, and it
will be fixed very very quickly. So tonight, whether you've supported me in
the past or not, I hopeyou will support me in the future,
because I will bring back the Americandream. That's what we're going to do.
You don't even hear about the Americandream. And and there, with

(42:29):
great humility, I am asking youto be excited about the future of our
country. Be excited. Be excited. And by the way, the news

(42:50):
reports or we'll look at all ofthose big networks, look at them.
They're all here. But every oneof them has said this could be the
most organized, best run, andmost enthusiastic convention of either party that they've
ever seen, every single And it'strue. It's true. And there's love

(43:19):
in the room. There's great lovein the room. So I better finish
strong otherwise we'll blow it. Andwe can't let that happen. Now,
this was great. All of thegreat people that spoke, and everybody hit
a home run. I mean there'snot one that I can think of where

(43:39):
I said, oh gee, thatwasn't great. Every single person. I
refuse to be the only one.Don't do that to me. They're already
getting ready. See, I gavethem an idea. We had. This
was a great convention. This wasI think we're actually going to go home
and miss it. You know, usually with a First of all, look
at these you never have this ata convention. Look at these words love.

(44:12):
It's about love. This week, the entire Republican Party is formally adopted
an agenda for America's renewal. Andyou saw that agenda. And it's very
short compared to the long, boring, meaningless agendas of the past, including
the Democrats. They write these thingsthat are hundreds of pages long, and

(44:32):
they never read them after they're done. In their case, fortunately they don't
read them because they're pretty bad. It's a series of ball promises that we
will swiftly implement when you give usa Republican House. And mister Speaker,
thank you very much. We haveour great Speaker of the House with us

(44:54):
tonight. Mister Speaker, thank youvery much. Thank you a Republican Senate.
We have many senators here, andsend me back to our beautiful White
House. Just a few short monthsfrom now. We're talking about just months.

(45:15):
It can't come fast enough. Wehave to get it done. First.
We must get economic relief to ourcitizens. Starting on day one,
we will drive down prices and makeAmerica affordable again. We have to make
it affordable. It's not affordable.People can't live like this under this administration

(45:37):
our current administration, groceries are upfifty seven percent, gasoline is up sixty
and seventy percent. Mortgage rates havequadrupled. And the fact is it doesn't
matter what they are because you can'tget the money anywhere care buy houses.
Young people can't get any financing tobuy a house. The total household costs
have increased an average of twenty eightdollars per family under this administration. Republicans

(46:04):
have a plan to bring down pricesand bring them down very, very rapidly.
By slashing energy costs. We willin turn reduce the cost of transportation,
manufacturing, and all household goods. So much starts with energy. And
remember, we have more liquid goldunder our feet than any other country by

(46:24):
far. We are a nation thathas the opportunity to make an absolute fortune
with its energy. We have it, and China does it. Under the
Trump administration. Just three and ahalf years ago, we were energy independent.

(46:44):
But soon we will actually be betterthan that. We will be energy
dominant and supply not only ourselves, but we will supply the rest of the
world with numbers that nobody has everseen. And we will reduce our debt
thirty six trillion dollars. We willstart reducing that, and we will also

(47:07):
reduce your taxes still further. Nextand by the way, they want to
raise your taxes four times. Thinkof it. In all my life,
I grew up watching politicians. Ialways love politics. I guess I was
on the other side and watched andthey were always talking about we will give
you a tax cut, we willgive you a tax cut. My whole
life I was watching, I willgive you a tax cut, right,

(47:29):
mister Congressman. That's all they talkedabout. This is the only administration that
said we're going to raise your taxesby four times what you're paying now,
and people are supposed to vote forthem. I've never heard it. You're
paying too much. We're going toreduce your taxes so further. We gave
you the biggest one. As Isaid, We're going to give you more,

(47:49):
and it's going to lead to tremendousgrowth. We want growth in our
country. That's what's going to payoff our debt. And next, we
will end the ridiculous and actually incrediblewaste of taxpayer dollars that is fueling the
inflation crisis. They spent trillions ofdollars on things having to do with the

(48:12):
green new scam. It's a scam, and that's caused tremendous inflationary pressures in
addition to the cost of energy, and all of the trillions of dollars that
are sitting there not yet spent. We will redirect that money for important projects
like roads, bridges, dams, and we will not allow it to be
spent on meaningless green new scam ideas. And I will end the electric vehicle

(48:45):
mandate on day one, thereby savingthe US auto industry from complete obliteration which
has happened right now, and savingUS customers thousands and thousands of dollars per
car. And right now as wespeak, large factories just started are being

(49:15):
built across the border in Mexico,so with all the other things happening our
border, and they're being built byChina to make cars and to sell them
into our country, no tax,no anything. The United Auto Workers ought
to be ashamed for allowing this tohappen, and the leader of the United
Auto Workers should be fired immediately, and every single auto worker union and non

(49:39):
union should be voting for Donald Trumpbecause We're going to bring back car manufacturing,
and we're going to bring it backfast. They're building some of the
largest auto plants anywhere in the world, think of it in the world,
and we're going to bring it back. We're going to make them. We

(50:00):
don't mind the we don't mind thathappening. But those plants are going to
be built in the United States, and our people are going to man those
plants. And if they don't agreewith us, we'll put a tariff of
approximately one hundred to two hundred percenton each car and they will be unsellable

(50:21):
in the United States. We havelong been taken advantage of by other countries,
and think of it. Oftentimes, these other countries are considered so called
allies. They've taken advantage of usfor years. We lose jobs, we
lose revenue, and they gain everythingand wipe out our businesses, wipe out

(50:42):
our people. I stopped it forfour years. I stopped it, and
we're really ready to make changes likenobody had seen before. And remember a
USMCA. I got rid of NAFTA, the worst trade deal ever made,
and replace it with USMCA, whichis they say the best trade deal ever
mad Actually Probably the best trade dealwas the deal I made with China where

(51:05):
they buy fifty billion dollars worth ofour product. They were buying nothing.
They buy fifty billion dollars worth. They had to. But I don't even
talk about it because of COVID.I don't even mention it, frankly,
because of what happened with the ChinaIris. We will not let countries come

(51:30):
in take our jobs and plunder ournation. They come into the they plunder
our nation. The way they willsell their product in America is to build
it in America. Very exaim willbuild it in America and only in America.

(52:04):
And this very simple formula in Congresshas to go along with us,
and they will. This very simpleformula will create massive numbers of jobs.
We will take over the auto industryagain and many, many, hundreds of
thousands of jobs. We lost somany jobs over the years. If you
go back twenty twenty five years, they've stolen going to China and Mexico,

(52:27):
about sixty eight percent of our autoindustry manufacturing jobs. We're going to get
them all back. We're going toget them all back, every one of
them. At the center of ourplan for economic relief are massive tax cuts
for workers that include something else that'sstood out to be very popular. Actually

(52:47):
here, it's very popular in thisbuilding. And all those hotels that I
saw that are so nice. I'mstaying in a nice one. It's called
no tax on tips, no path, no tags, all on tips.

(53:15):
I got that by having dinner recentlyin Nevada, where we're leading by about
fourteen points. Hello, I'll seeyou there very soon, everybody. We're
having dinner at a beautiful restaurant inthe truck building on the strip, and
it's a great building. And thewaitress comes over. How's everything going?

(53:37):
Really, nice person, how's everythingall? Sarah's so tough. The government's
after me all the time on tips, tipstips. I said, well,
they give you cash, would theybe able to find them? She said,
actually, and I didn't know that. She said, very little cash
is given. It's all put righton the check. And they come in
and they take so much of ourmoney. It's just ridiculous, and they
don't believe anything we say. Andthey've just tired, as you know,

(54:00):
eighty eight thousand agents to go afterthem even more. And I said,
this shows the level of you know, most people who out they hire consultants.
They paid millions of dollars. ButI said to her, let me
just ask you a question. Wouldyou be happy if you had no tax?
And Tipsy said, what a greatidea. I got my information from

(54:23):
a very smart waitress. That's betterthan spending millions of dollars. You listening
to Kim six forty. Everybody lovesit. Waitresses and taddies and drivers,
and everybody's a large, large groupof people that are being really hurt badly.
They make money, Let them keeptheir money. I'm going to protect

(54:47):
social security and Medicare. Democrats aregoing to destroy social Security and Medicare because
all of these people, by theminions they're coming in, they're going to
be on social Security and medicare otherthings, and you're not able to afford
it. They are destroying your socialsecurity and your Medicare. Under my plan,

(55:07):
incomes will skyrocket, inflation will vanishcompletely, jobs will come roaring back,
and the middle class will prosper likenever ever before. And we're going
to do it very rapidly. Butno hope for dream we have for America

(55:30):
can succeed unless we stop the illegalimmigrant invasion. The worst that's ever been
seen anywhere in the world. There'snever been an invasion like this anywhere.
Third world countries would fight with sticksand stones not to let this happen.
The invasion at our southern border. We will stop at, and we will
stop at quickly. You heard TomHolman yesterday. Tom Holman put him in

(55:52):
charge, and just sit back andwatch. Brandon Judd Border Patrol is incredible.
These guys, you know, theyreally their job is a lot easier
if they don't have to do anything, but they want to their patriots.
Brendan Judd Border Patrol. Ice,Ice goes out. You have to see
what Ice does with MS thirteen. You have these these are probably the worst

(56:15):
gang. And Ice goes in there. And I know a lot of people
on these roads here and they're verytough people, but they don't want to
do this job. They'll go intoa pack of MS. Thirteen killers.
They're the worst, probably the worstgangs in the world. And we have
thousands of them. I moved thousandsand thousands out in by four years.
We moved them out and it wasa pleasure. But Ice would go right

(56:37):
into a pack of these killers, and you see fist flying you see everything
flying, and then they take them, They put them in a patty wagon,
they take them back, and theyget them out of our country.
And the other countries weren't accepting themback. And I called up and I
said, tell them that we're notgiving them economic aid anymore. And the
next day I got calls from allof these countries that were terminated. Billions

(57:00):
of dollars we spend on economic aidto countries that does us, frankly,
no good. And the next dayI was called by everybody. Couldn't take
all the call. Sir, sir, what's the problem. I said,
you won't take your killers back thatyou sent in caravans into America. You
won't take them back. Well, sir, if you'd like us too,
we would get very serious consideration todo it. And within twenty four hours

(57:24):
they were being taken back. Foryears and years when I first came in,
they said President Obama tried to gethim to go back, and they
wouldn't accept them. They put planeson the runway so you couldn't lead the
plane. That closed the road,so you couldn't take the buses that all
have to turn back. As soonas I said, no more economic aid
of any kind to any country thatdoes that. They called back and they

(57:46):
said, sir, it would beour great honor to take Ms. Thirteen.
We love them very much. Welove them very much, sir,
We'll take them down. At theheart of the Republican platforms are pledged to
end this supporterer nightmare and fully restorethe sacred and sovereign borders of the United

(58:08):
States of America. And we're goingto do that on day one. That
means two things in day one, right, drill, baby, drill,
and close our borders. And bythe way, and I think everybody,

(58:34):
as a Republican, as a patronin this room, and most Democrats,
we want people to come into ourcountry, but they have to come into
our country legally, legally. Lessthan four years ago, I handed this
administration the strongest border in American history. But you can see on the chart

(59:00):
that saved my life. That wasthe chart that saved my life. I
said, look it, I'm soproud of it. I think it's one
of the greatest. It was doneby the Border Patrol. One of the
greatest shorts I've ever seen. Itshowed everything just like that. You know
the chart, Oh there it isthat's pretty good. Wow. Last time
I put up that chart, Inever really got to look at it.

(59:24):
But without that short, I wouldnot be here today. Never got to
look at it. I said, you got to see this short. I

(59:49):
was so proud of it, Andby the time I got to there,
I never got to see it thatday. But I'm seeing it now,
and I was very proud. Andif you look at the arrow in the
bottom, that's the lowest level, the one on the bottom, heavy red
arrow, that's the lowest level ofillegal immigrants ever to come into our country.
And recorded history right there right there. And that was my last week

(01:00:15):
in office. And then you seewhat happened after I left. Look at
the rest, And if you goout a little bit further, it's getting
to be a little bit old,but I love it anyway, right,
but you can go much higher withthose numbers. Look what happened right after
that the invasion began. We hadthe opposite. We stopped the invasion,
but the invasion that we stopped waspeanuts by comparison to what happened after I

(01:00:38):
left. Look at what happened afterI left. They took over our country.
We ended all catch and release,We shut down asylum fraud. We
stopped human trafficking, and forged historicagreements to keep illegal aliens on foreign soil.
We want them to stay on theirsoil. Under the Trump administration,

(01:00:59):
if you came in legally, youwere apprehended immediately, and you were deported,
you went right back. The currentadministration terminated every single one of those
great Trump policies that I put inplace to seal the boarder. I wanted
a seal border again. Come in, but come in legally. You know
how unfair it is. So manypeople, hundreds of thousands of people have

(01:01:22):
been working for years to come intoour country, and now they see these
people pour into our country at levelsthat are unprecedented, so unfair, and
we're not going to do it.We're not going to stand for it.
They suspended wall construction, ended remainin Mexico in a policy remain in Mexico.
You think that was easy to getfrom the Mexican government, but I

(01:01:42):
said, you must give it tous. If you don't give it to
us, there will be repercussions. And they gave it to us, but
not easy. Canceled our Safe Thirdagreements, demolished Title forty two, implemented
nationwide catching release. That's catch andrelease, where we catch them and release
them to our country. I hadwe catch them and release them into Mexico.

(01:02:04):
It's a slight difference and took ninetythree. This is the previous administration
ninety three executive actions to throw openour border to the world. The entire
world is pouring into our country becauseof this very foolish administration. The greatest
invasion in history is taking place righthere in our country. They are coming

(01:02:28):
in from every corner of the earth, not just from South America, but
from Africa, Asia, the MiddleEast. They're coming from everywhere. They're
coming at levels that we've never seenbefore. It is an invasion, indeed,
and this administration does absolutely nothing tostop them. They're coming from prisons,
They're coming from jails, They're comingfrom mental institutions and insane asylums.

(01:02:53):
I say, you know, thepress is always on me because I say
this. Has anyone seen Silent ofthe Lambs, the late great Hanniballecta,
He'd love to have you for dinner. That's insane asylums they're emptying out there,

(01:03:15):
insane asylums, and terrorists are comingin at numbers that we've never seen
before. Bad things are going tohappen. Meanwhile, our crime rate is
going up, while crime statistics allover the world are going down because they're
taking their criminals and they're putting theminto our country, a certain country.

(01:03:36):
And I happen to like the presidentof that country very much. But he's
been getting great publicity because he's awonderful shepherd of the country. He says,
oh, well, the country's doingbecause their crime rate is down.
And he said he's training all ofthese rough people. They are rough,
rough, rough he's training them. And I've been reading about this for two
years. I think, oh,that's wonderful. Let's take a look at

(01:03:58):
it. But then I realized he'snot training them. He's sending all of
his criminals, his drug dealers, his people that are in jails. He's
sending them all to the United States. And he's different. And that he
doesn't say that. He's trying toconvince everybody what a wonderful job he does
in running the country. Well,he doesn't do a wonderful job. And
by the way, if I ranone of the countries, many countries,

(01:04:20):
many many countries from all over Iwould be worse than any of them.
I would have had the place totallyemptied out already, but we become a
dumping ground for the rest of theworld, which is laughing at us.
They think we're stupid and they can'tbelieve that they're getting away with what they're

(01:04:43):
getting away with. But they're notgoing to be getting away with it for
long. That's what I can tellyou. In Venezuela, Caracas high crime,
high crime, Caracas, Venezuela reallydangerous place, but not anymore because

(01:05:06):
in Venezuela crime is down seventy twopercent. In fact, if they would
ever win this election, I hateto even say that we will have our
next Republican convention in Venezuela because itwill be safe our cities. Our cities
will be so unsafe we won't behable, We will not be able to have

(01:05:27):
it there. At El Salvador, murders are down by seventy percent. Why
are they down now? He wouldhave you convinced that because he's trained murders
to be wonderful. People know they'redown because they're sending their murderers to the
United States of America. This isgoing to be very bad, and bad

(01:05:50):
things are going to happen, andyou're seeing it happen all the time.
That's why. To keep our familiessafe, the Republican platform promises to launch
the largest deportation operation in the historyof our country, even larger than that
of President Dwight D. Eisenhower frommany years ago. You know, he

(01:06:13):
was a moderate, but he believedvery strongly in borders. He had the
largest deportation operation we've ever had.Just recently, I spoke to the grieving
mother of Joscelyn Nungary, a wonderfulwoman, a precious twelve year old girl
from Houston, who last month wastied up, assaulted, and strangled to

(01:06:33):
death after walking to the convenience justa block away from her house. Her
body was dumped near the side ofthe road in a shallow creek, found
by some onlookers who couldn't believe whatthey had witnessed. Charged with Joscelyn's hens
murder or two illegal aliens from Venezuelawho came across our border were in custody

(01:06:57):
and were then released into the countryby this horrible, horrible administration that we
have right now. I also metrecently with the heartbroken mother and sister of
Rachel Maron. Rachel was a thirtyseven year old mom of five beautiful children
who was brutally raped and murdered whileout on her run. She wanted to

(01:07:18):
keep herself in good ship. Itwas very important or she was murdered.
The monster responsible first killed another womanin El Salvador before he was let into
America by the White House. HisWhite House let them in. He then
attacked a nine year old girl andher mother in a home invasion in Los
Angeles before murdering Rachel and Maryland.Traveled all throughout the country doing tremendous damage.

(01:07:43):
Rachel's mother will never be the same. I spent time with her.
She will never be the same.I've also met with the wonderful family of
Lake and Riley, the brilliant twentytwo year old nursing student. She was
so proud of being first in herclass, who was out for a jog
on the campus of the University ofGeorgia when she was assaulted, beaten,

(01:08:08):
and horrifically killed. Yet another Americanlife was stolen by a criminal alien set
free by this administration. That thesewere incredible people we're talking about, These
were incredible people who died tonight America. This is my vow. I will
not let these killers and criminals intoour country. I will keep our sons

(01:08:39):
and daughters saying, as we bringsecurity to our streets, we will help
bring stability to the world. Iwas the first president in modern times to
start no new wars. You know, we were the toughest, We were
the most respect then, and yousaw the hungry, strong country run by

(01:09:02):
a very powerful, tough Leader's toughguy. Press doesn't like him because he's
tough, and he came out recently. They were asking him at an interview,
the whole world is exploding. What'shappening? What's going on? Victor
Orbon, the Prime Minister of Hungary, very tough man. He said,

(01:09:24):
I don't want people coming into mycountry and blowing up our shopping centers and
killing people. But they said tohim, tell us what's going wrong,
what's happening? What is it?He said, there's only one way you're
going to solve it. You gotto bring President Trump back to the United
States because he kept everybody at baytoo. He used a word I wouldn't

(01:09:48):
use because I can't use that wordbecause you'd say it was braggadocius. The
press would say he was a bragger. I'm not a bragger, But Victor
Oban said it. He said Russiawas afraid of him, China was afraid
of him, everybody was afraid ofhim. Nothing was going to happen.
The whole world was at peace, and now the world is blowing up around

(01:10:13):
us. All of these things thatyou read about were not going to happen.
Under President Bush, Russia invaded Georgia. Under President Obama, Russia took
Crimea. Under the current administration,Russia is after all of Ukraine. Under

(01:10:33):
President Trump, Russia took nothing. This is KFIM six forty. We defeated
one hundred percent of isis Inceria inIraq, something that was said to take

(01:11:00):
five years, sir. It'll likefive years, sir. We did it
in a matter of a couple ofmonths. We have a great military.
Our military is not woke. It'sjust some of the fools on top that
all woke. I got along verywell North Korea Kim Jungle, and I

(01:11:23):
got along very well with him.The press hated when I said that,
how could you get along with him? Well, you know, it's nice
to get along with somebody has alot of nuclear weapons or otherwise is it?
See the old days, they saythat's a wonderful thing. Now they
say, how could you possibly dothat? But now I got along with
them and we stopped the missile launchersfrom North Korea. Now North Korea is

(01:11:45):
acting up again. But when weget back, I get along with him.
He'd like to see me back too. I think he misses me,
if you want to know that too. Our opponents inherited world at peace had
turned it into a planet of war. Where the planet of war. Look
at that attack on Isra. Lookat what's happening with Ukraine. The cities

(01:12:11):
are just bombed out. How canpeople live like that? Where buildings,
massive buildings are falling to the ground. It began to unravel with the disastrous
withdrawal from Afghanistan, the worst humiliationin the history of our country. We
have never had a humiliation like that. Thirteen heroic US service members were tragically
and needlessly killed. Forty five otherswere horrifically wounded. Nobody ever talks about

(01:12:36):
them. No arms, no legs, face explosions, horrifically, horrifically wounded.
By the way, we have aman in this room. Who's running
for the US Center from a greatstake Nevada named Sam Brown, who paid

(01:12:59):
the ultimate price. Thank you,Sam, Thank you, Sam, Thank
you. He paid the biggest priceprobably ever paid by anybody that is running
for office. And I think he'sgoing to do great. He's running against

(01:13:23):
a person that is not good, not respected, a total lightweight. But
Sam I think paid. Really wewere talking about it with some of the
Senators that are working so hard forSam. But he paid the biggest price
of any senator ever to run forthe Senate. I don't think anybody's ever
what he did. He was areal hero, a really great person that

(01:13:45):
he's running and I hope that everybodygets out and votes for Sam Brown.
And we also left behind eighty fiveellion dollars worth of military equipment along with
many American citizens were left behind, many many American citizens. Emboldened by that

(01:14:11):
disaster, Russia invaded Ukraine. Theysaw this group of people that were incompetent.
We took the soldiers out first.Don't know we're going to take the
soldiers out. Second, if theywould have followed my plan, we had
a great plan, but the planonly kicked in if they did everything perfectly,
and they weren't doing things perfectly,so we said, it doesn't kick
in. You know, eighteen monthsin Afghanistan, we didn't have one.

(01:14:32):
So they were killing them left andright snipers. And I spoke to the
head of the Taliban. You've heardthis story. Abdul still there, still
the head of the Taliban. Thepress got on me. Why would you
speak to him, I said, because that's where the killing is. I
don't have to speak to somebody thathas nothing to do with it. And

(01:14:54):
I told him, don't ever dothat. Don't ever do that again.
Don't ever ever do that again. You're going to because during the Obama administration
many great people and soldiers, alot of soldiers were being killed from long
distance. I said, if youkeep doing that, you're going to be
hit harder than anybody's ever been hitby a country before. And he said,

(01:15:23):
I understand. Your excellency called meyour excellency. I wonder if he
calls the other guy your excellency.I doubt it. The other guy gave
him everything. I mean, whatkind of a deal with that? He
walked out, gave him everything.Do you know that right now? Afghanistan
is one of the largest sellers ofweapons in the world. They're selling the

(01:15:44):
brand new, beautiful weapons that wegave them. But think of it.
He actually said to me, butwhy, but why do you show me
a picture of my home. Isaid, you'll have to ask your people
or one of your wives. Buthe could figure it out. And for
eighteen months we had not one attackon an American soldier by the Taliban.

(01:16:11):
Eighteen and then we had that horribleday where soldiers were killed. I was
not there because of a ridiculous election, but we had that horrible attack.
And they also gave up Bagram, one of the biggest bases anywhere in the

(01:16:32):
world, air bases anywhere in theworld, the longest runways, most powerful,
hard and thickened runways. We gaveit up, and I liked it.
Not because of Afghanistan. I likedit because of China. It's one
hour away from which China makes thenuclear weapons, and you know has it
now? China has it now.We were keeping that and now China is

(01:16:58):
likewise circling Taiwan, and Russian warshipsand nuclear submarines are operating sixty miles off
the coast in Cuba. Do youknow that the press refuses are right about
it. If that were me runningthis country and we had nuclear submarines in
Cuba, I will tell you thatthe headlines every day would be what's wrong
with our president? You don't evenhear this. You're not hearing about this.

(01:17:21):
Russia has nuclear submarines and warships sixtymiles away, mister congressman from Miami,
by the way, happens to behere, correct, in Cuba,
and that would not be stood for. If we're somebody else, they don't
even they don't want to mention it, but now maybe they will and the

(01:17:44):
entire world. I tell you this, we want our hostages back, and
they'd better be back before I assumeoffice. Well, you will be paying
a very big price. With ourvictory in November, the years of war,

(01:18:16):
weakness, and chaos will be over. I don't have wars. I
had no wars other than Isis, which I defeated, but that was a
war that was started. We hadno wars. I could stop wars with
a telephone call. I could stopwars with just a telephone call. They
properly stated they would never start. We will replenish our military and build an

(01:18:42):
iron dome missile defense system to ensurethat no enemy can strike our homeland.
And this great iron dome will bebuilt entirely in the USA. We're going
to build it in Wisconsin, Wisconsin, just like I gave you that massive

(01:19:03):
ship contract. And you're doing avery nice job, Governor, right,
Thank you, governor. And they'redoing a great job. In fact,
I had a little design change andwe gave him a tremendous for essentially what
we used to call destroyers. Theseare now the most beautiful. They looked
like yats. They said, wehave to take the bow and we have

(01:19:23):
to make it a little nicer anda little point at the top instead of
a flat nose. And the peopleat this shipyard said, this guy sort
of knows what he's doing. Wehave most beautiful ships, right, Governor.
And everybody's sitting over there, andit was a big contract that everybody
wanted. I gave it to Wisconsin. But we're going to have a lot
of that built right here in thestate of Wisconsin and all of the states.

(01:19:46):
Israel has an iron dome. Theyhave a missile defense system. Three
hundred and forty two missiles were shotinto Israel and only one got through a
little bit. It was badly wounded. It fell to the ground, But
most of them are Ronald Reagan wantedthis many years ago, but we really
didn't have the technology many years ago. Remember they called it starship, spaceship

(01:20:06):
anything to mock him. But hewas a very good president, very very
good. But now we have unbelievabletechnology, and why should other countries have
this and we don't. No,no, we're going to build an iron
dome over our country and we're goingto be sure that nothing can come and

(01:20:28):
harm our people. And again, from an economic development standpoint, you're going
to make it all right here.No more sending it out to other countries
in order to help. It's Americafirst, America. We will unleash the
power of American innovation. And aswe do, we will soon be on
the verge of finding the cures tocancer, Alzheimer's disease, and many other

(01:20:51):
diseases. We're going to get tothe bottom of it. You remember this,
gentleman, that I don't want tomentioned other than one time. I
had to because when you say you'rethe ten worst, I had to do
it. I didn't want anybody tobe confused but this man said we're going
to find a cure to cancer.Nothing happened. We're going to get to

(01:21:13):
the cure for cancer and Alzheimer's andso many other things. We're so close
to doing something great, but weneed a leader that will let it be
done. We will not have menplaying in women's sports. That will end
the media all and we will restoreand renovate our nations once great cities,

(01:21:43):
making them safe, clean, andbeautiful again. And that includes our nation's
capital, which is a horrible killingfield. So many things. They leave
from Wisconsin, they go to lookat the Washington Monument, they end up
getting stabbed, killed, or shot. We will be very, very proud
of our capital again, Washington,DC. America is on the cost of

(01:22:12):
a new golden age, but wewill have the courage to seize it.
We're going to take it. We'regoing to make it a current. I
mean, we're going to bring thisinto a golden age like never seen before.
Remember this, China wants to doit, Japan wants to do it,
All of these countries want to doit. We have to produce massive
amounts of energy if we're going toproduce the new If you look at some

(01:22:36):
of the things that have been doneand some of the things that we're going
to do. But AI needs tremendous, literally twice the electricity that's available now
in our country, can you imagine. But instead we're spending places where they

(01:22:56):
recharge electric cars. They built eightcharge at a certain location toward the Midwest,
eight charges for nine billion dollars.Think of them as a tank for
filling up your guess. Think ofit. They spent nine billion dollars on
eight charges, three of which didn'twork. And if you were going to

(01:23:20):
do this all over our country, this crazy electric mandate, if you're going
to do this, and by theway, I'm all for electric, they
have their application. But if somebodywants to buy a gas powered car,
gasoline powered car or a high bred, they're going to be able to do
it. And we're going to makethat change on day one. So to

(01:23:51):
conclude, just a few short daysago, my journey with you nearly ended,
we know, And yet here weare tonight, all gathered together talking
about the future, promise and atotal renewal of a thing we love very
much. It's called America. Welive in a world of miracles. None

(01:24:15):
of us knows God's plan or wherelife's adventure will take us. I want
to thank Franklin Graham for being hereTonight's an outstanding man. He wrote me
a note recently. I have alot of respect for him, Sir.
I love your storytelling. I thinkit's great in front of these big rallies.

(01:24:36):
But Sir, please do me onefavorite. It won't make any difference.
Please don't use any foul language.I was a little embarrassed. I
said. He said, it won'tmake any difference. Actually does. The
story's not quite as good, butI've been very good. The story is
not quite as good. To behonest, I've got to have a little

(01:24:58):
talk with Franklin. He was great. He's a great gentleman. His father
was so incredible. Billy Graham. My father used to love taking me to
see Billy Graham. My father wouldtake me to see Billy Graham at Yankee
Stadium. He had the biggest ralliesyou've ever seen. He was a good
rally guy too, but he'd getup and he was a fantastic guy.

(01:25:20):
My father loved Billy Graham. ButI love Franklin Graham. I think Franklin's
been fantastic, and I'm trying.I'm just working so hard to adhere to
his note to me. I'm workinghard on it, Franklin. But if
the events of last Saturday make anythingclear, it is that every single moment
we have on earth is a giftfrom God. We have to make the

(01:25:49):
most of every day for the peopleand for the country that we love.
The attacker in Pennsylvania wanted to stopour movement. But the truth is,
the movement has never been about me. It has always been about you.
It's your movement. It's the biggestmovement in the history of our country by
far. Can't be stocked, itcan't be stopped. It has always been

(01:26:14):
about the hard working, patriotic citizensof America. For too long, our
nation has settled for too little. We settle for too little. We've given
everything to other nations, to otherpeople. You've been told to lower your
expectations and to accept less for yourfamilies. I am here tonight with the
opposite message. Your expectations are notbig enough. Not big enough. You're

(01:26:40):
listening to M six forty Los Angelesand Orange County. It is time to
start expecting and demanding the best leadershipin the world leadership that is bold,
dynamic, relentless, and fearless. We can do that. We are Americans.
Ambition is our heritage, Greatness isour birthright. But as long as
our energies are spent fighting each other, our destiny will remain out of reach.

(01:27:06):
And that's not acceptable. We mustinstead take that energy and use it
to realize our country's true potential andwrite our own thrilling chapter of the American
story. We can do it together. We will unite. We are going
to come together, and success willbring us together. It is a story

(01:27:31):
of love, sacrifice, and somany other things. And remember the word
devotion. It's unmatched devotion. OurAmerican ancestors crossed the Delaware, survived the
icy winter at Valley Forge, anddefeated a mighty empire to establish our cherished

(01:27:54):
republic. They fought so hard, they lost so many. They pushed thousands
and thousands of miles across a dangerousfrontier, taming the wilderness to build a
life and a magnificent home for theirfamily. They packed their families into covered
wagons, trekked across hazardous trails, scaled towering mountains, and brave rivers and

(01:28:18):
rapids. To stake their claim onthe wide, open, new and very
beautiful frontier. When our way oflife was threatened, American patriots marched onto
the battlefield, raced into enemy strongholdsand stared down death, and stared down
those enemies to keep alive the flameof freedom. At Yorktown, Gettysburg,

(01:28:44):
and Midway, they joined the rollcall of immortal heroes. Just so many
heroes, so many great, greatpeople, And we have to cherish those
people. We can't forget those people. We have to cherish those Speaking and
building monuments to those great people isa good thing, not a bad thing.

(01:29:08):
They saved our country. No challengewas too much, no hardship was
too great, no enemy was toofierce. Together these patriots soldiered on and
endured, and they prevailed because theyhad faith in each other, faith in
their country, and above all, they had faith in their God. Just

(01:29:36):
like our ancestors. We must nowcome together, rise above past differences.
Any disagreements have to be put asideand go forward united as one people,
one nation, pledging allegiance to onegreat beautiful I think it's so beautiful American
flag. Tonight, I ask foryour partnership, for your support, and

(01:30:04):
I am humbly asking for your vote. I want your vote. We're going
to make our country great again.Every day I will strive to honor the
trust you have placed in me,and I will never ever let you down.
I promise that I will never letyou down. To all of the

(01:30:27):
forgotten men and women who have beenneglected, abandoned, and left behind,
you will be forgotten no longer. We will press forward, and together we
will win win, win, win, win, win, win win win.

(01:31:01):
Nothing will sway us, nothing willslow us, and no one will
ever stop us. No matter whatdangers come our way, no matter what
obstacles lie in our path, wewill keep striving toward our shared and glorious
destiny, and we will not fail. We will not fail. Together,

(01:31:30):
we will save this country. Wewill restore the Republic, and we will
usher in the rich and wonderful tomorrowsthat our people so truly deserve. America's
future will be bigger, better, bolder, brighter, happier, stronger,
freer, greater, and more unitedthan ever before. And quite simply put,

(01:32:09):
we will very quickly make America greatagain. Thank you very much,
Thank you very much, Wisconsin.God bless you, God, bless you
Wisconsin, and God bless the UnitedStates of America, our great country.
Thank you very much, everybody, thank you. And there you have it.

(01:32:30):
Former President Trump finished his very longaddress. I want to say it
was about an hour and thirty five, maybe an hour and forty minutes.
He spoke some on the teleprompters, some off the teleprompter. If you're still
watching the proceedings, former First LadyMalauney Trump has now joined him on stage,

(01:32:51):
much to his surprise. He turnedaround and didn't expect to see her,
evidently, and they've joined in anembrace, and it will I would
say, a very muted speech bythe former president. It didn't have the
same type of energy that most peoplewere accustomed to. Obviously that had much
to do with what happened this pastSaturday. He recounted the events from his

(01:33:15):
perspective, what he was thinking, what he was expecting as he went up
to start his speech on Saturday inPennsylvania. He gave us a say a
moment by moment accounting of how thingswere transpiring when the shots rang out.
He remembers the crowd around him,how the Secret Service had jumped on top

(01:33:36):
of him and how he came upand for some reason thought it was necessary
to gesture to the crowd to letthe crowd know that he was okay,
And he talked about why he puthis fist up and what came to his
mind when he was saying fight, fight, fight. He said that that
was going to be the only timethat he would tell the story. We'll

(01:33:57):
see in the coming months whether hetells it again. But throughout the speech
he bounced on and off the telepromptto what I say about that is it
seemed like for certain points you couldtell he was reading from prepared marks,
and other times he was just kindof riffing, shouting out people in the
audience, elected officials, people hemay have noticed, like he started with,

(01:34:19):
I think it was Hulk Hogan wasthe first person, and he just
kind of acknowledged and spoke from hisheart as far as what he felt about
Hulk Hogan and acknowledged some of theother speakers who spoke before him. Something
I did notice, and I'm notexactly sure why he didn't spend a lot
of time acknowledging his vice presidential nominee. I think there was one passing remark

(01:34:39):
he acknowledged JD. Vance and hiswife, but never came back to it,
never really made the ticket itself ofcentral focus, a focus, not
a critique, just an observation. But he very slowly, I would say,
maybe methodically, went through different aspectsof his platform, if you will,
talk about economic issues, talking aboutimmigration issues, talking about foreign policy

(01:35:06):
issues, talking about China. Spenda lot of time on China, spend
a lot of time on ilegal immigration, which is not a surprise to anyone.
He spent some time talking about whathe thought his administration meant, what
transpired during the Biden administration. Andalso he said very pointedly that he did

(01:35:30):
not want to mention President Biden's name. He mentioned it once. I think
that was a political calculation. Obviouslyhe knows what is happening on the other
side of the political aisle. Andhow if the rumors are true, President
Biden may step down. I saymay. That has not been confirmed,
but published reports speculate that he maystep aside from the Democratic nomination sometime this

(01:35:57):
weekend or by the end of theweekend. And maybe he wanted to make
sure he is in Former President Trumpwanted to make sure that his speech was
not to Biden focused and more administrationfocused, where they don't have to really
pivot in a rhetorical sense moving forward. Not sure what his next campaign event
will be. Usually with any politicalconvention, you wait to see the next

(01:36:24):
day what type of response you get. This was a very, very long
address, so there will be,i'll say, added focus on whether people
continue to tune in throughout the durationof the speech or whether viewership or listenership
also dropped off along the way. It's a heavy lift when you're asking people
to watch for more than an hour, almost like an hour and a half

(01:36:46):
hour and forty minutes. So we'llsee if people were still as enthusiastic at
the end as they were at thebeginning. Obviously, he was very well
received. People were there for himand only him when it came down it,
but his tonality was very muted. It had a tone of reconciliation.

(01:37:09):
He spoke of unity. We'll seewhether he continues that throughout the rest of
the campaign or whether it was justsomething for this moment. But it was
a different Donald Trump as far ashis previous rally posturing. It was a
different Donald Trump relative to the typeof rhetoric that he was offering in support
of his candidacy. Now, therewere some moments he made his typical jabs

(01:37:31):
and barbs, talking about the Chinaflu and things of that nature, but
he didn't go as deep or ashard that he were. I think you
and I are accustomed him to doing. And we'll see whether that's this is
just for this particular occasion, orwhether it's something we'll see. It's a
decided change in his rhetoric in hispresentation, in how he approaches this campaign.

(01:37:58):
Now, there was a point inthe piece where he said he wanted
to be and I'm paraphrasing, Ican't quote him, that he wanted to
be a president for everyone, notjust half the country. Hopefully he can
measure up to that. Hopefully hewill live up to that, because I
want every president, regardless of politicalstripes, to be a president for all
the country, not just your politicalparty. And that's the question which is

(01:38:24):
being put before the American people.Who do you think will be best for
all the country, not necessarily justthe D or the R next to the
person's name. And all this isgoing to change greatly when we find out
what is going to happen with theDemocrats, because it's not just whether Joe
Biden steps aside. That doesn't preeI should say, we shouldn't assume that

(01:38:48):
just because Joe Biden steps aside, that there will be someone else in that
presidential slot. There's going to bean open convention, an open nomination,
which means we we don't know whothat presidential nominee will be. We don't
know who the vice presidential nominee willbe. There is so much which has

(01:39:09):
to be decided, and I tryto caution everyone against trying to predict it
or thinking that because of the momentumof the past two to three weeks,
that it's a done deal for DonaldTrump. History has shown that that's not
necessarily the case. And I thinkMark Thompson said it the best. Even
though four months may be a shortamount of time in politics, it's forever,

(01:39:33):
and there's so much which is goingto happen between now and then which
is going to change our feeling andperspective about this race. I would look
at this tonight as more like afireside chat with Donald Trump. It was
not a speech in the conventional sense. In any way. It was not
seemingly full of prepared marks, itwas more extemporaneous, it was more off

(01:39:55):
the cuff. He was kind ofriffing with the audience more times than not,
and it just seemed like he wasdown two or three levels as far
as the loudness of his rhetoric, the pointed nature of his rhetoric. And
it could be because of what happenedlast Saturday. I'm quite sure is part

(01:40:17):
of it, but I don't knowif it's all of it. But this
is something that I think was calculatedon his part by extending this speech by
an extra thirty or forty minutes, because on the rundown he was only slated
to speak to speak maybe thirty fiveforty minutes. He was supposed to start
at seven thirty, and the telecastwas supposed to end at eight o'clock West

(01:40:39):
Coast time ten o'clock Milwaukee time. But when else would Donald Trump have ABC,
NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, Fox News News Nation, Newsmax,
and ten other networks and hundreds ofother network affiliates around the country carrying

(01:41:03):
his message NonStop, uninterrupted, nocommercials. To have that captive of an
audience for that long of the time, There was no reason for him to
be quick about his words. Therewas no reason for him to finish quickly.
There was no reason for him toturn back all that media coverage over

(01:41:23):
to those local stations and those cablenetworks. There's no reason to allow them
to go back to their coverage andjust give analysis and bring the RNC to
a premature end. He had acaptive audience around the world and he was
not going to give it up.And that makes perfect sense because he would
not have that again where he wouldbe able to speak uninterrupted and unopposed,

(01:41:45):
not even in a presidential debate. This won't come for him or anyone else
for any time in the near future. So the RNC has come to a
close. Former President Trump has offeredhis remarks, and we'll see what happens
with the Democrats over this weekend, and then we'll do the same thing with
the DNC in August when the Democratshave their turn. It's Later with Mo
