Okay, the Dodgers when they were. They were out of
town playing two losers Pittsburgh and then they too Baltimore
and that was a nightmare road trip.

And this has been a trend with them where they
have lost to the worst teams, but they have gotten
up for better competition. So the Dodgers seemed to play
to their level of competition, which is a concern now
you get into the playoffs, you're only going to see
good teams. But you don't want to see the defending
champs constantly playing down to everyone and losing to the
Pittsburgh Pirates.

So I was watching one of the one of the
apps where you can live bet a game, and I
was watching it while I was watching the Dodgers where
they had a no hitter with two outs in the
ninth and they were thirty seven to one to win
the game. So if you put in one hundred bucks
on Baltimore at the top of the ninth inning, you
would have made thirty seven hundred dollars after that game.

And that was with Yamamoto not an out a way
two strikes away from getting that no hitter. Crazy than that,
of course, is what you mentioned. They didn't just lose
the no hitter. They lost a three to nothing lead
and lost the game. Honestly, that was one of the
worst regular season losses I've ever seen by any team
in any sport. Unbelievable. They won the next get they

Yeah, they played well that maybe that's their rallying cry
or turning point, like this was rock bottom for them.

I think that sense of urgency that Dave Roberts has
been asking for for some time is finally kicking in
with this team and guys that weren't playing to their
level of expectations or they're too good. You got three
MVPs in the lineup every day almost and their starting
pitching has been really good. The bullpin has struggled so much,
hence blowing that game, of course, but that's been their problem.

he would have been dead. He would have burned alive
in that car and they pulled him out. They saved
his life. We found him at a hospital and Torrence,
I believe. I think it's UCLA Medical Center and he's alive.

on the four to five freeway. Cops are in pursuit.

You can tell by the shadows at this time of day,
but just not enough sunlight out there for me. So
it looks like southbound. Yes, you can tell by looking
at it if there is. Again, with the shadows, there's

not enough sunlight, so I really can't tell you where
it's going. But it looks like the odd the twenty
two and the four five that interchange right around Seal Beach.
He's going eighty seven miles an hour at lower the
speed limit. But he's also been involved, evidently in a
crash earlier, so it looks like he's going to stay
on the four or five, not get on the twenty two,

and he will continue in the diamond lanes.

How embarrassing is that where you're in a high speed
chase from the cops and somebody flies by you going

WHOA, they stole a car four or five southbound coming
through Longby. I've been coming through Orange County. If you're
driving on the four or five southbound anywhere Neil near
Seal Beach and you look into the Diamond Lanes. This
guy's flying by everybody and he has stolen that car,
evidently allegedly southbound four or five coming up on It's

in Westminster, all right. A lot of the freeways finally
finished in Orange County, so he's not going to come
up to any construction there. They've done a fantastic job
putting this freeway back together and expanding in and now
this guy's taking advantage of it.

And then when he went the wrong way on the freeway,
they pulled them off. So they're in surveillance mode only
right now with the sheriffs.

Nobody's behind this guy.

They tried to get.

CHP to take over, but they don't have units available.
So at this point, no units available from the helicopter.

that game to the Bills that they never should have
lost a fifteen four minutes left, so they got revenge
on the mind.

All right, So you think they're gonna be Cleveland in
Baltimore buy more than twelve?

Well you didn't say I had to pick the spreads too,
but I you know what, my cat picked the spread
earlier today when I did this. Actually, because we do
something called two on two off. You got to pick
two favorites, you got to pick two underdogs. Well, my
cat Tuca named after Biakabatuca, former Carolina panther, she picked
the Baltimore Ravens in this case. So yeah, I want
to say they cover.

What so tonight at eleven o'clock, what station will it

Five to seventy who right after the Dodgers.

Pending this Dodgers Giants Big Series, because you know, the
Giants have won I think fourteen of seventeen or thirteen
of seventeen. They're trying to chase down the Dodgers. So
after that we'll be on FNA, on FSR, on Fox
Sports Radio.

Okay, the Dodgers when they were. They were out of
town playing two losers Pittsburgh and then they too Baltimore
and that was a nightmare road trip.
Speaker 8 (14:04):
Yeah, I think they went one in five.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
Yeah, I think you're right. One and five.
Speaker 8 (14:08):
And this has been a trend with them where they
have lost to the worst teams, but they have gotten
up for better competition. So the Dodgers seemed to play
to their level of competition, which is a concern now
you get into the playoffs, you're only going to see
good teams. But you don't want to see the defending
champs constantly playing down to everyone and losing to the
Pittsburgh Pirates.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
That's right.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
So I was watching one of the one of the
apps where you can live bet a game, and I
was watching it while I was watching the Dodgers where
they had a no hitter with two outs in the
ninth and they were thirty seven to one to win
the game. So if you put in one hundred bucks
on Baltimore at the top of the ninth inning, you
would have made thirty seven hundred dollars after that game.
Speaker 8 (14:53):
And that was with Yamamoto not an out a way
two strikes away from getting that no hitter. Crazy than that,
of course, is what you mentioned. They didn't just lose
the no hitter. They lost a three to nothing lead
and lost the game. Honestly, that was one of the
worst regular season losses I've ever seen by any team
in any sport. Unbelievable. They won the next get they
(15:15):
Kershaw was out there, he picked them up.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
But they haven't lost since.
Speaker 8 (15:18):
Yeah, they played well that maybe that's their rallying cry
or turning point, like this was rock bottom for them.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
But in watching that game, and you know, depressed out
of my mind watching them, you not only lose the
no hitter, but they went on to lose the game.
It could have crushed them, but it didn't. They won
the next day and then they then they swept Colorado.
Speaker 8 (15:39):
I think that sense of urgency that Dave Roberts has
been asking for for some time is finally kicking in
with this team and guys that weren't playing to their
level of expectations or they're too good. You got three
MVPs in the lineup every day almost and their starting
pitching has been really good. The bullpin has struggled so much,
hence blowing that game, of course, but that's been their problem.
(16:01):
Now they get a test against San Francisco Giants, who
vic the brick. Our old friend would say that hated
on y'all the hated ones.

Let's go back to the no hitter in Baltimore with
two outs and then they gave.

press that believes that pahes should have taken a shot
at trying to catch that ball?

The callers on Dodgers Talk post game they expressed their
displeasure for his lack of effort on that Now, I
guess there's some depth perspective issue there in that park
where actually there was And this is the analytics stuff
they have nowadays, where they can tell you how hard
a ball is hit or how far it went. They
(16:45):
said it was a zero percent chance he could actually
get to that ball. So on TV it played a
little bit different to the audience, and he was taking
a lot of heat and a lot of criticism, and
even David Vasse postgame said, you have to give a
better effort than that. You break your arm trying to
get that ball. Yeah, he didn't, but he's kind of
been I guess it's been pushed aside that issue now

because he's been vindicated.

Okay, and then then real quickly, I know you gotta go.
You gotta do all your pre game before tonight. The
woman in uh that caught the ball and or that
didn't catch the ball went and demanded the ball from
that father and son in Philadelphia.

I believe her name was Karen.

I think her name was Karen, but I don't think
she's ever been to a game before because she doesn't
understand the rules in the in the stands, when a
ball comes your direction, everybody goes for it. Then whoever
grabs it, they have the ball, and the hunt is over.
That's exactly it.

And to me, this isn't about the little kid and
it being his birthday or whatever it was. This has
nothing to do with that. It's just proper etiquette, like
it is a free for all. Whoever comes up with
that ball, right, you don't get to force the dad
to give it back to you because you were closer
to it but actually didn't get your hand on it.

That's great. It makes zero sense, Yeah, it does.

I think she took a little too much heat. You know,
she didn't kill anybody. Sure, she didn't, you know, to
wipe anybody's house out. She just literally took a ball

He's just on the road to healing. He's not a
physical therapy ahead of him.

Is he in any pain?

He's on stuff, so I don't know. Yeah, he's on

And when is he coming back?

of way physical therapy ahead of him and he may

If you if you don't know, uh, Steph Busch's are

and he got into a radical accident. He was cartwheeling

car caught on fire and if it wasn't for good smartans,

he would have been dead. He would have burned alive
in that car and they pulled him out. They saved
his life. We found him at a hospital and Torrence,
I believe. I think it's UCLA Medical Center and he's alive.
Harbor Medical, right, yeah, Harbor Harbor, Harbor Medical Harbor, Ucla Harbor.

And he's home. He's getting better.

He's going to take another couple of months, but hopefully
he's back and you'll know when he's back. It'd be
a big celebration and we'll have a hot dog day

of Los Angeles and southern California. Really bad timing. We

you're in the chase game and you're running away from
the cops, four to four or five o'clock is your

also involved in a collision, so we were not overhead
when it happened, but I heard it happened on the scanner.

How bad that crashed?

It really doesn't have an Bronco manage. But of course

Sheriffs that are at pursuit. Although we're all the way
in Seal Beach now, so this is a situation where
we will likely see the California how I Patrol take
over this pursuit there, all.

Right, Diamond Lanes, Chevy Tahoe, please, white Chevy Tahoe southbound
on the four to five freeway. Cops are in pursuit.
Let's see I five at exit twenty two Seal Beach,

and there's not enough sunlight out for me to tell
you what direction this truck or this suv is going in.
You can tell by the shadows at this time of day,
but just not enough sunlight out there for me. So
it looks like southbound. Yes, you can tell by looking
at it if there is. Again, with the shadows, there's

not enough sunlight, so I really can't tell you where
it's going. But it looks like the odd the twenty
two and the four five that interchange right around Seal Beach.
He's going eighty seven miles an hour at lower the
speed limit. But he's also been involved, evidently in a
crash earlier, so it looks like he's going to stay
on the four or five, not get on the twenty two,

and he will continue in the diamond lanes.

And some guy's flying by him.
Speaker 1 (29:50):
How embarrassing is that where you're in a high speed
chase from the cops and somebody flies by you going
much faster than eighty five miles an hour. Oh life,
whatever world we live in here in southern California. See

There's actually another very similar call on Compton, but back
back in their city. We're all the way in Westminster now,
so they are trying to get CHP involved since we're
so out of pocket here for Compton and for that
Lake County Sheriff's Department, but we're continuing into Orange County.

We're in Westminster southbound five.

Coming up to Springdale again. They are trying to get
behind this one. They're not here yet.

If you're on the foural five southbound, watch out for
this guy.

It's still overhead.

Diamond Lane, in the Diamond Lane.

At this point, CHP has no units available to take
over the pursuit, is what I'm hearing. So for now
it will continue to be the Sheriff's department that will
continue to track this carjacking suspect to here through carjacking.
Speaker 1 (31:03):
WHOA, they stole a car four or five southbound coming
through Longby. I've been coming through Orange County. If you're
driving on the four or five southbound anywhere Neil near
Seal Beach and you look into the Diamond Lanes. This
guy's flying by everybody and he has stolen that car,
evidently allegedly southbound four or five coming up on It's
(31:28):
in Westminster, all right. A lot of the freeways finally
finished in Orange County, so he's not going to come
up to any construction there. They've done a fantastic job
putting this freeway back together and expanding in and now
this guy's taking advantage of it.
Speaker 7 (31:46):
And then when he went the wrong way on the freeway,
they pulled them off. So they're in surveillance mode only
right now with the sheriffs.
Speaker 2 (31:52):
Nobody's behind this guy.
Speaker 4 (31:54):
They tried to get.
Speaker 7 (31:55):
CHP to take over, but they don't have units available.
So at this point, no units available from the helicopter.
Speaker 1 (32:01):
What are these CCHP guys doing. Get my guy, Mike
down there. I know the CHP and Orange Gun. I know
a guy named Mike. Get on that bike. Mike, chase
this guy down and give him a couple backhands. Guys
endangering a lot of lives going ninety eight miles an hour.
Speaker 7 (32:17):
Minutes before we have to be on the ground sixty minute.

All right. They have an hour of fuel.

We're down here and we yeah, one hour.
