Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's KFI Am six and you're listening to the Conway
Show on demand on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
It is over at city Hall.
Speaker 1 (00:10):
They grabbed the guy, he turned himself in, He got
out of the car, walked over to the fireman and
the cops that were waiting there. They'll probably put him
in an ambulance or a cop car and now transport him.
Then they still haven't cleared the car yet. Downtown if
you're just tuning in, a car plowed into the steps
of City Hall in downtown Los Angeles and they closed
(00:31):
off about five or six square blocks in downtown LA,
maybe even more.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
And it was a big deal, big deal.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Now, the silver lining is that he didn't do it
at noon on a Tuesday or Wednesday when everybody was working.
He did it at four o'clock, four oh six on
a Friday at City Hall and there was nobody there.
Nobody's working at City Hall at four o'clock on a weekday,
nobody or the Courts building. Everybody's gone. So it was
(01:06):
all cleared out anyway. So maybe he knew that. Maybe
he you know, he didn't want to create a huge
hassle for everybody, but he had a couple of signs
in his windshield and I don't know what those were
all about.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
So he'll hopefully gets the help that he needs.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
But again it's it's you know, guys and gals who
really need a lot of attention. And I'm not saying that,
you know negative a whole way. He does need a
lot of attention. He's at his wits end, his absolute
wits end. So following that story, that seems to be
over again, they haven't cleared the car. The Chevron fires
(01:45):
still trying to figure out what happened there. Shandy Combs
four years in prison and kind of an arrogant thing
that he did before he was sentenced. He had two
spake speaking engagements all lined up for next week, and
I think the judge looked at that and probably gave
him more time for that kind of arrogance. I'll bet
(02:07):
he was looking at two years and then she or
he the judge saw that and said, no, you're getting
two more for being an idiot. So that he's getting
four years. And Hamas has agreed to release all of
the Israeli hostages, whether they are still with us or
they're deceased, all of them are going to be released
(02:30):
and that might start a brand new beginning. And what
is this October third? So that was almost was that
two years ago? That invasion on October seventh of Hamas
invading Israel.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Lot, it feels like two, but I keep thinking it's three.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Is it three? Nokay, cannot possibly be three? Maybe it is.
I think it's two. I think it happened in twenty
twenty three. I'd have to look that up. Yes, October seventh,
twenty twenty three. Yeah, yeah, all right, so two years,
(03:09):
two years on Monday on Tuesday, two years Tuesday. That
that's been going on hostages for two years, and the
award that's been going on there, So hopefully this is
the beginning of a new life over there. All right,
let's in not so crazy your news. It's Friday. We like,
(03:31):
do you know, keep it a little light. I don't
know how you can with you know, p Dady Combs,
some moss, Chevron fire and the.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Guy crashed in the city Hall. It's helped to keep
it light.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
But Bellio's favorite artist, Taylor Swift has released a new album,
It's Life of a Showgirl.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Belly, are you going to purchase the album?
Speaker 3 (03:52):
I already have you do on vinyl or on Apple Music?
Speaker 2 (03:56):
Apple the old school, your old school like that? Huh yeah? Okay, Taylor,
have you have you listened to any of the new songs?
Speaker 3 (04:02):
I listened on my way in today.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
How do you like him?
Speaker 3 (04:05):
I have a few early favorites.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Really, I do like which one?
Speaker 4 (04:10):
I like Life of a Show Girl. I like the
romantic one. I got to pull up the names of them,
not like.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
I get it, No, I get it, you get it.
You know you're just it's a new album.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
It's new, so you.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
Gotta give me a little grace here.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
All right, we'll play this while you look up your newest,
your latest and greatest.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
I got it.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
The Light Love Opal Light, that's a great one. Ruin
the friendship actually romantic and canceled are my new faiths?
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Any about Travis?
Speaker 4 (04:38):
Yeah, there's a lot about Travis. Some of them think
one of them is about their love life. Maybe, Okay,
Opal Light. I think she touches on that one a
little bit about him, and Honey, I thinks about him.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
Honey, sounds like it's probably about him, and if it's not,
he's gonna have some.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
Explainingly it's about you know, how offensive women find when
they're called honey or sweetheart, but somehow when he says it, it
has a new meaning.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
Is basically the gist of the song waitmen.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
So she is of the belief that when people call
women sweetheart or.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
Honey personally like that, it's passive, aggressive and well, you
have to listen to the song.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
I think I will, I think I will it.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
I think I find I find that endearing, especially when
older women at restaurants who are waitresses call me honey
or me sweet.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Well, and it's not just about like men calling a woman.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
It's like when some women may you know, like say
sweetheart to other women listen sweetheart. So it can be condescending.
Sometimes it's said to you. Sure, anything could be yeah,
that's what she's using those words. I mean, sugar lips
could be offensive. Hey, sugar lips, you.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
Know, yeah that that could be.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
Yeah, but it could also be a compliment. All right, anyway,
the new it could be right telling it to sugar lips.
Come here, baby, you haven't seen you in a while. Yeah, Like,
what wasn't Steckler's sugarfoot?
Speaker 2 (06:07):
Sugarfoot? He had a goat that was a companion goat?
Speaker 3 (06:13):
Was it Yeah, he was his companion goat.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Yeah, he had a companion goat named Sugarfoot and let
the goat into Dodger Stadium.
Speaker 4 (06:19):
Remember when we gave him a portrait of he broke
down Christmas and he was crying and you didn't know
what because he had opened it and you didn't.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
Know what it was of. And he had.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
A service goat named sugar Foot and he goes, you.
Speaker 5 (06:34):
Go, what is it? What is it? And he goes,
it's sugar fuck.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
Yeah, and he starts crying and I go what is
And he's like, he's crying, and I go, buddy, what
is it? He wouldn't answer me, buddy, what is it?
Speaker 2 (06:46):
He goes, sugar fud.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
One of my all time favorite Steckler moments.
Speaker 6 (06:53):
He was the absolute sugar and he goes, it's beautiful.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
Yeah, he was touched.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Somebody painted gave him a painting of his service goat
and he fell in love with that painting.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
Yeah, he loved that goat though, too. He loved his
service goat.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
Did you ever meet sugar Shart?
Speaker 2 (07:11):
Did I ever meet?
Speaker 7 (07:12):
So?
Speaker 2 (07:12):
I got? I was there when he got Sugarfoot.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
I didn't know.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
Sorry, Yeah, yeah, yeah, sugarfood was a big deal.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
You know, he's the only goat in the on the
block in where he lived over on near Crenshaw, And
that was a big deal. Everybody knew Sugarfoot. It was
like a dwarf goat. It was a small goat.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
Oh my god, how cute.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
And it was a service goat. He did tool that
thing around with him. That was a problem sometimes, but
he fought. He fought for that goat at service goat.

George Michael's classic hit Father Figure. Swift already in full
on publicity mode ahead of her eagerly awaited appearance later
today on The Graham Norton Show.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
Does she really need to do publicity for this thing?
Couldn't you just sit at home with yeahs? Yes, and
it works itself out.

It does.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
This is my brand new album.
Speaker 10 (10:06):
She first announced the new project back in August on
Them boyfriend Travis Kelsey's podcast.
Speaker 7 (10:11):
I've been fortunate enough to hear every single song on here,
so I know they're all twelve bangers.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
That's an odd reaction. That's their brothers. That's Travis Kelsey's brother.
Speaker 4 (10:24):
That's Travis and Jason from the New Heights podcast when
she announced the album.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Yes, odd reaction from a grown man that played football. Odd,
there you go.
Speaker 7 (10:36):
I've been fortunate enough to hear every single song on here,
so I know they're all twelve bangers.
Speaker 10 (10:39):
Just weeks later, the couple nearly broke the Internet with
the news of their engagement, their love story seemingly the
inspiration for some of the new tracks.
Speaker 11 (10:51):
I knew that this was the kind of album that
he was going to love the most. He's like so
supportive of all of it, but like he's a real
vibes guy.
Speaker 8 (10:59):
The life of a show girl smashing records even before

is always with Taylor.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Doesn't seem like the surprises are slowing down this weekend.
Speaker 10 (11:40):
Yeah, the music drop was just the beginning of a
pretty intense rollout.
Speaker 5 (11:42):

that is.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
I was gonna say attorney or a doctor. Those are
the two people that live out there.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
That is.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
That's a beautiful area. I love that area. It's uh,
it's great. It's a great place to raise kids. And
they got great schools there.

Jason and Ladera Ranch. Ah, somebody's made a ton of money.
That's expensive out there.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
All right.
Speaker 1 (15:42):
Chris Christy, who is the helicopter photographer and reporter with
Channel seven, is whether it's Chris Hi, you Bob.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
Doing ang with you? Are you in the helicopter right now?
Speaker 7 (15:55):
It's literally just landed.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
Okay, all right, buddy.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
You know last night you had such great shots of
that Chevron refinery that blew up.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
Were you in the sky? Were you close by?
Speaker 7 (16:08):
Yeah? I was just saying, I was just trying to
get my head around the whirlwind. We've been through it
between last night and today. So we were actually over
that pursuit in Van Eyes, the one where the suv
flipped over, ended in a wild crash ending pulled the
guy out, and we were there for a couple of
minutes waiting for that ambulance to pull up, and all
of us, my pilot, my photographer, Rob and myself were
(16:32):
blinded temporarily by a huge bright orange flash wow coming
over the hill. I mean the whole sky turned orange.
So we immediately pivoted and went right over there, and
it was I'm telling you, it was like Oppenheimer.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
How far were you as the helicopter crow flies gosh.
Speaker 7 (16:52):
It had to be about fifteen twenty miles. Wow, it
seemed much closer. It seemed much closer. You know, we
were in Van Eyes where that suit ended, and I
was estimating at the time that there must have been
a massive explosion in Century City. That's kind of where
we ballparked it. Wow, it seemed that close.
Speaker 1 (17:11):
That's incredible. You know, they say that some people that
lived nearby, I said that the flames were maybe two
or three hundred feet in the air.
Speaker 7 (17:19):
Oh, easily easily. I mean where the explosion happened was
already pretty elevated. It was probably fifty to one hundred
feet in the air. Already probably about fifty to seventy
feet I would say, is where the initial explosion, But
there were secondary explosions and those explosions. I mean, it
really was. It was truly it was like a mushroom
cloud coming from Lax So, you know, once we were
(17:41):
once we got over the hill, we realized, oh, this
is further than we thought. And then your mind kind
of goes to, well, it is about an oil refinery.
It just it didn't seem close enough. It knew, we
knew it was much closer than Torrents right, and so
Chevron made the most sense there. But it was, i
mean right next to the airport. And it was a
kind of explosion too, where you don't know if there
was going to be any single left of that refinery.
(18:02):
I was surprised that, I mean, you know, it turned
out to be pretty isolated. But the fact that there
were nobody, you know, no no injuries, nobody hurt, and
that refinery is still standing, just just from the size
of that explosion was remarkable.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
Chris Christie's whether Us. He flies with Channel seven reports over. Man,
you were on everything yesterday. They had the streets blocked
on Wilshire. They're looking for that murder suspect in bel Air.
There was a few other stories. Man, you guys got
around last night. You earned your money yesterday.
Speaker 7 (18:34):
Yeah, that was all on one flight too. We had
the we had the standoff in Westward. Then there was
that car crash into into the uh the Aaron Milkin
Center over at the Steed the Life Center, and then
we had a protest over at the Israeli Embassy. Of
all of all places, and and I'm still forgetting something.
It's it's almost hard to keep track.
Speaker 1 (18:53):
Hey, when there are when there's oh there was the
police chase with the motorcycle.
Speaker 7 (18:58):
Right, well, yeah, that's right.
Speaker 1 (18:59):
Yeah yeah, But when is there a race between like
you and NBC and CBS to get their first Always.
Speaker 7 (19:07):
Always a race. This is the most competitive city in
the country. There's just nothing like it. It really, you know,
we turn those after burners on when I see uh
stehen Eliata back.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
There is there a place that you like to hover
over where you can be within five to ten minutes
of everything? Is there like a good central location or
you like to keep that secret?
Speaker 7 (19:26):
Oh that's well, I'll let's see that a little secret.
How about that?
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Okay?
Speaker 7 (19:32):
I love Hawthorn Airport as long as there's no marine layer.
Hawthorn Airport is one of the most centrally located spots
to sit down and wait for breaking news or to
take off from at any given point in the day.
And most importantly, the food, the burgers eureka, amazing.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
Yeah, that's the airport that is just it runs parallel
to the one oh five there.
Speaker 7 (19:58):
That's right, Yeah, it's very it's right by Lix. Again.
Sometimes you get that marine layer, we'll move in and
it kind of you never want to get socked in
during dinner, so we got to you know, we got
to check the weather. But that is a great place
to take off. Actually, we were there earlier today after
we did our four o'clock hit over the refinery. We
did a hit. We were showing the live pictures and
(20:19):
we landed at Hawthorne. I was going to call you,
and just as I was about to call you, we
had this guy that just crashed into city Hall. So
that's why we're a little late. I apologize, but yeah,
we were right there at Hawthorne.
Speaker 2 (20:32):
Hey, real quickly, I know you got to go.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
How do you guys navigate Lax If there's a chase
that goes on the other side of Lax, do you
have to go above Lax or around it?
Speaker 7 (20:44):
So depending on the controller, we can do different things.
We can take the shoreline right along the coast if
we need to get by head to the South Bay,
or some controlers will let us go right over the
Center complex. We could hover on the north side of
the runway or the south side, or sometimes a lot
of times we'll do those traffic stories, or we could
see we can have a pretty good viewer. We're hovering
right over the horseshoe, you know, over the terminals, and
(21:06):
then other controllers will make us go out to the
one ten and kind of skirt the Bravo that way.
So it just kind of depends on where we're going,
where the story is, and also how many birds are
up there with us. If it's a bunch of us
at one time, a lot of times they'll try and
keep us out of the airliners way, so we'll just
kind of work with them, and our pilots are pretty
great at negotiating as well, so it works out.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
I'm fascinated by the logistics on how you guys get around.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
I think it's it's terrific.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
Say hi to your wife, and I know you've got
a great daughter. How old is she now?
Speaker 2 (21:37):
Eighteen? Is she driving?
Speaker 7 (21:39):
Four and a half and we're officially on two wheels.
Speaker 1 (21:42):
I can't believe she's four and a half. She was
a baby two seconds. Ah, man, it really is great.
Congratulations thanks for coming on. I know you're busy, and
I love all the texts, all the updates, and love
avenon Bob.
Speaker 7 (21:57):
You're the best tim Thanks man.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
All right.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
Chris with ABC News four and a half years I
was going to say a year, maybe a year and
a half. God, is that fly by? That's unbelievable? All right,
Well Krozer knows it. I know it, amand does that
fly it does? My daughter turns twenty on Sunday twenty.
(22:23):
When I started here she was four three, just three
when I started here, three years old.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
She turns twenty on Sunday. Got obody?
Speaker 12 (22:31):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
AM six forty.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
How was cool to have Chris Christy on with us?
Speaker 1 (22:40):
I didn't believe that Bellio really downloaded Taylor Swift's album,
and so I made her show it to me on
her phone, and she did.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
She downloaded the entire album. She's very happy about it,
very proud, very happy. Good for her.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
Why wouldn't I? What's the problem? Why why would I
lie about that?
Speaker 2 (22:59):
How much time you I have all night? Okay? I?
What did it cost you?
Speaker 3 (23:06):
By the way, eleven?
Speaker 2 (23:09):
What really is that a good price? Grocer? Bad? Is
that a lot? Freeze? The best price for Yeah? Can't
you get it free at.
Speaker 4 (23:20):
I probably don't like some of the music the two
of you like, and probably wouldn't spend any money on
it or go to concerts or whatever?
Speaker 14 (23:27):
How do we get on Apple Music?
Speaker 9 (23:31):
Why are we attacking me?
Speaker 2 (23:33):
I'm just wondering why you paid for it?
Speaker 3 (23:34):
It's free because I enjoy it?
Speaker 2 (23:36):
Oh, I say you're supporting her.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
I enjoy her music?
Speaker 2 (23:39):
Okay, all right?
Speaker 3 (23:41):
Is that so wrong?
Speaker 2 (23:42):
Well?
Speaker 14 (23:43):
So you paid for it digitally or did you buy
like a hard copy like vinyl or something.
Speaker 7 (23:47):
No?
Speaker 3 (23:47):
I downloaded it.
Speaker 2 (23:49):
You have the digital Yeah? Did do you have friends?
Do you have?
Speaker 7 (23:56):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (23:56):
It's on double? No? Do you have friends you listen
to with listening parties? Swifty party?
Speaker 3 (24:03):
I bet I could find some people that would listen
with me.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
You're gonna go to the theater and watch it this weekend.
Speaker 4 (24:08):
If she comes out with a documentary of her ariostour,
I would probably go see that.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
Let's back up a little.
Speaker 1 (24:15):
You have friends that you can ask to come over
to your house and listen to that album?
Speaker 3 (24:20):
You remember Bella.
Speaker 4 (24:23):
Mensa's she would she'd come over to your house.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
You'd listen to the album together. Yeah, okay?
Speaker 3 (24:32):
Is that weird? Do you have friends that you watch
TVG with?
Speaker 7 (24:38):
No?
Speaker 2 (24:39):
I do not. How about that.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
You expected him to say that'd be really weird?
Speaker 2 (24:46):
No, I, Hey, buddy, you want to come over with TV.
We'll watch horse race together. What the hell? Who is this?
We'll touch shoulders? Lose my number? What happened to you?
Did you get hit in the head? All right, let's
look at the It's just a odd belly.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
Why is it odd? I bet Tony downloads music.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
I bet he didn't download that.
Speaker 4 (25:10):
Well, no, but he went to see the Scorpions in Vegas.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
I wouldn't do that.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
It was a good show.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
It's there's a difference between going to the Scorpions show
in Vegas and downloading Taylor Swift's album while you're home
with your husband in Irvin.
Speaker 4 (25:28):
Why, I mean, I understand this seems like a younger
I don't want to insult the younger thing.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
Why a younger thing?
Speaker 7 (25:34):
Music?
Speaker 3 (25:35):
Is it a younger thing?
Speaker 14 (25:36):
Can you play it and like dance around at home
with the dogs? She danced here with it? But I
do the dogs get into it?
Speaker 3 (25:44):
I will absolutely.
Speaker 1 (25:46):
Yet we used to listen Tim Brestlan, who's my cousin
in Detroit, when he got a new album like fog Hat.
We'd sit around his room and listen to the whole album.
Speaker 3 (25:56):
But yet, what I'm doing is odd.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
We were.
Speaker 1 (25:58):
We were thirteen. Judge so judging on this thing, you're right,
I am judging it.
Speaker 3 (26:04):
Why are you judging that?
Speaker 5 (26:05):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (26:06):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
I got to I got to figure out why. But
it's it just doesn't seem I think it's more consistent
with who you are.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
And how how is that?
Speaker 2 (26:15):
I don't know. You seem more like a you should
be into Eagles or Ello.
Speaker 9 (26:19):
I am, I like I have.
Speaker 4 (26:21):
I have very eclectic taste of music, so I do love.
Speaker 1 (26:26):
I think it would have been it would have been
less strange if you downloaded it like in three weeks
from now.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
But you downloaded it like the moment.
Speaker 4 (26:32):
It dropped because I was curious, Okay, I was curious
and also curious.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
That what it would be different than what she's done before?
Speaker 3 (26:43):
Was it?
Speaker 5 (26:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 13 (26:45):
It is.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
The music's different than what she's done before.
Speaker 5 (26:47):
A little bit.
Speaker 2 (26:48):
She will defend cast to the end.
Speaker 7 (26:50):
I know.
Speaker 2 (26:50):
I'm just curious.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Why not?
Speaker 2 (26:52):
I want to hear how very that.
Speaker 4 (26:54):
Everyone has artists that they enjoy in music and variety
of music.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
What I think it's weird that you find it odd?
Speaker 2 (27:04):
Really? Yeah?
Speaker 7 (27:05):
I do?
Speaker 2 (27:07):
She threw she threw a weird back at your own Okay.
Speaker 3 (27:09):
Well consider that attacked. I've attacked you.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
Do you find it odd that she downloaded the album
on on mid It was it at midnight?
Speaker 7 (27:19):
No?
Speaker 3 (27:19):
I did it this morning?
Speaker 2 (27:20):
Oh you waited? Yeah, as soon as the ojos opened up? Right,
So you're not really a swift Y.
Speaker 4 (27:26):
You think you're not a true fan. I told you
I'm a lower case Swift.
Speaker 7 (27:30):
Ye.
Speaker 14 (27:30):
She also knew that at midnight it would basically shut
down the internet. So if she if she got it
good night, so she'd wake up refresh the internet would
be refreshed as well, and she'd get a nice download.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
Would you go to a Tailor Swift concert? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (27:43):
By myself?
Speaker 4 (27:44):
No?
Speaker 2 (27:45):
You would you go by yourself? Cross?
Speaker 3 (27:47):
Probably you would go to a Tailor Swift concert.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
I would sure.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
Then why is that she puts on a good show.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
I appreciate talent.
Speaker 7 (27:57):
Show.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
But then you don't like her music?
Speaker 2 (27:59):
That when I ever said I didn't like her music?
Speaker 3 (28:01):
You think it's weird that I downloaded.
Speaker 2 (28:03):
I never said anything about it being weird.
Speaker 3 (28:05):
What did you say?
Speaker 14 (28:06):
I said, it's great, Good for you, kudos for the Harry. Oh,
now you're gonna put interpretations.
Speaker 2 (28:12):
Yeah, yeah, oh that's a great comeback.
Speaker 14 (28:20):
You are oddly proud of it, I will say, am
I proud of it?
Speaker 9 (28:24):
I think I'm being defensive.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
I think did you listen to it on the way
to work?
Speaker 14 (28:28):
I did, and as Tim said, you were dancing in
the hallway here, So.
Speaker 1 (28:33):
Yeah, I think she danced in the hallway. Just knowing
that it irritates me.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
My dancing irritates you.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
Be careful how you answered that's the way you dance.
I mean you you? Oh yeah, jedge, I am with that.
Speaker 4 (28:50):
Yeah, girl over So now you you don't like my
taste in music?
Speaker 3 (28:54):
You think mine?
Speaker 2 (28:54):
No, No, I don't say I don't like it.
Speaker 1 (28:56):
Ta, I think it's a young like a thirteen year
old girl's thing, and you're doing it. Look, it would
be odd if I was downloading K pop all the time.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
You know, it wouldn't be if you enjoyed the music.
Speaker 1 (29:08):
Like if I downloaded the soundtrack to Barbie and I
listened to it on the way to work, would you
think that's odd?
Speaker 5 (29:12):
No?
Speaker 3 (29:12):
Not, if you enjoy music.
Speaker 2 (29:14):
Really, you wouldn't attack me on the air if you
knew that.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
No, it's good for you. If you enjoyed that music.
You should listen to whatever you like.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
You would be all.
Speaker 3 (29:21):
Over me from your peers.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
You would be it would be a meme.
Speaker 1 (29:24):
It would be a social media post and be like, hey,
well look at this guy's doing.
Speaker 3 (29:28):
Never do that. And you know your dance is not
so great either.
Speaker 4 (29:33):
By the way, do you want to have a dance.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
Off after the hair off?
Speaker 7 (29:39):
Sure?
Speaker 2 (29:40):
You got it all right, we got to take a break.
We can't keep doing this.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
No, we can't.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
So far it's no good, no good.
Speaker 12 (29:48):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
AM six forty.
Speaker 1 (29:53):
Let's look up a Dodger doner start huh time tomorrow? Okay,
it will be at yeah, three thirty eight our time,
So at about three forty three forty pm, your Los
Angeles Dodgers will be in Philadelphia three forty It's an
(30:17):
odd time. Hope you're home for recording it. Three It'll
be at three forty pm, and that is a West
coast time.
Speaker 2 (30:27):
Let's see.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
Let me make sure that that's yes. It will be
October fourth at three thirty eight.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
That is correct.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
That is a correct time, three thirty eight Pacific. So
you want to plan your day around that, you know,
because you don't want to hear the score from somebody
if you're recording it.
Speaker 2 (30:55):
Maybe you have a party to go to.
Speaker 1 (30:56):
Maybe somebody's retiring, wedding, retire a party for I don't know,
mom or dad's redoing their.
Speaker 2 (31:04):
Vowels, their vowels, I don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
But you'll want to get home and be near a
TV set At three thirty eight pm, got a new audio?
Speaker 2 (31:18):
Is that where you're going?
Speaker 6 (31:19):
What is it?
Speaker 1 (31:20):
Oh oj okay OJ's acquittal was thirty years ago today,
thirty years ago.
Speaker 2 (31:29):
Got them.
Speaker 1 (31:29):
I can't believe that's been thirty years, thirty years that's crazy.
Speaker 4 (31:34):
A piece of history pulled out for KTLA inside the
District Attorney's office.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
This is the right hand glove.
Speaker 3 (31:41):
From that infamous moment during the O. J.
Speaker 15 (31:43):
Simpson trial, watching him try to put that glove on.
It didn't get close to fitting.
Speaker 4 (31:48):
Ex wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman
in Brentwood, and thirty.
Speaker 10 (31:53):
Years ago today he was acquitted of all charges by
a jury, a loss that.
Speaker 3 (31:58):
Still stings for the District attorney office.
Speaker 2 (32:00):
We own it, you know. The office did not win
this case.
Speaker 4 (32:04):
Was it a mistake to have OJ try on those
gloves in court?
Speaker 2 (32:08):
Yeah, you don't.
Speaker 15 (32:09):
Have someone try on a glove in the middle of
the trial without knowing the answer to the question. And
OJ had to put on a latex glove because before
he put on the actual glove, and whether or not
that then effectively made it so that the glove was
not going to fit. And it allowed Johnny Cochran to
make that immortal statement in closing argument.
Speaker 2 (32:31):
If it doesn't fit, you must.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
Equip dubbed the Trial of the Century.
Speaker 4 (32:35):
Even after all this time, many remember it like it
was yesterday.
Speaker 15 (32:39):
It was riveting, and you had the actual witnesses that
were like minor.
Speaker 4 (32:43):
Celebrities, and that dramatic White Bronco police chase in June
of nineteen ninety four, tens of millions of viewers tuning
in for the mass wall to wall coverage.
Speaker 15 (32:52):
People have pulled over many of them periods signs such as.
Speaker 7 (32:55):
Signs reading things like staves the June.
Speaker 1 (32:58):
Go Oj, I remember that I was in Toronto when
that chase was going on, and the NBA playoffs were
going were happening at the same time, and so they
had the NBA Playoffs on the big screen TV at
the hotel staying in and then picture and picture. The
tiny little box in the corner right hand corner was
the OJ Simpson Low Speed Chase on the four or
(33:20):
five Freeway. And then about five minutes into that chase,
the NBA Finals went to the small box and the
big box was the OJ hot low speed Chase to
brentwood Man.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
That was sometime. That was sometime.
Speaker 1 (33:36):
Thirty years ago today, thirty years that's amazing. We all
made it, well, a lot of us did, don't forget.

Swift album.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
