Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's k IF.
Speaker 2 (00:00):
I am six forty and you're listening to The Conway
Show on demand on the iHeartRadio app. And we have
fought one of our favorite guests that comes on with
us all the time, man from Channel eleven kt TV
here in La Alex Michaelson.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
How you bob bang dong with you?
Speaker 4 (00:21):
Big dong with you? Buddy? You excited about the Super.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
Bowl I am airing on Fox eleven this weekend.
Speaker 4 (00:28):
Oh that's right. I forgot about that.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
That Does that afford you anything special tickets or viewing
parties or something.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
No, it affords me a chance to work.
Speaker 4 (00:39):
Oh that's right. You've got to do the pre and
post news.
Speaker 3 (00:43):
Huh, we'll be on yeah, the post the post news.
We will be on Sunday night. Oh no, no, it's
you would think that, you know, if they're getting eight
million dollars for a thirty second ad, they might not
be so stringy with them.
Speaker 4 (00:57):
Is that right? Is it eight million down for thirty
second Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Yeah, wow yeah, much like trickle down economics, that doesn't.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
Seem to work.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
We're building from the middle out on this one. No,
I guess that's not Yeah, So when do you go
on on Sunday. What time do you.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
Think will be on? I think maybe around nine o'clock
or nine to thirty something like that. They do the
they're doing the show the Floor. Have you ever seen
Rob Lowe's game show? It's going to be on right
after the super Bowl and then we'll be on after that.
Speaker 4 (01:30):
I can't say as I've seen that floor.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
It's kind of fun, actually, is that right? I like it?
Speaker 4 (01:38):
Yeah? The floor? I what is it? Is it a
game show?
Speaker 3 (01:44):
It's a game show? Yeah, And all these people are
on the floor and they take different pieces of the
floor that they do battles against. It's kind of complicated,
but it's fun once you get it anyways.
Speaker 4 (01:55):
All right, all right, so you go on after that
then yeah, okay, all right? All right?
Speaker 2 (02:02):
So Donald Trump going to the super Bowl. Has a
sitting president never gone to a super Bowl? I don't
know if I remember that.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
It's never happened before. It'll be the first time ever.
You think it'll increase the security even more so. I
mean super Bowl security is already nuts. You think about
New Orleans that's just had that terrorist attack on New
Year's and now they're going to have the president there
in addition to it, so I can only imagine how
lockdown that arena's going to be. But yeah, I mean, look,
(02:29):
Donald Trump, if there's one thing, love him or hate him,
he totally completely understands the American zeitgeist and understands where
people eyeballs are. And there is no bigger TV event
than the super Bowl. I mean, in the past, usually
there would be a presidential interview put into the super
Bowl pregame show, and he's doing that with Brett Bhaer.
But to actually be at the super Bowl itself is
(02:52):
kind of smart if you think about it's kind of
surprising that no president has done it.
Speaker 4 (02:55):
Yeah, it is odd.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
Now he's also going to do the pre super Bowl
interview I think with Brett Bahyer and that's gonna be
on Fox. But but in the past, Joe Biden has
turned that down, and I thought that was odd because
in the middle of an electric election season, you know,
he could have had eighty million people looking at him.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
So maybe that was a sign that his staff wasn't
as confident in him as they were suggesting. Maybe we
should have all read something into it when that happened,
thought something's up here, Hey.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
Do you think that all this money being pushed towards
Politico is going to have an effect on their operation.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
Look, I still kind of trying to figure out what
exactly that story is because Politico is denying that that
happened and that that money did go to them, and
they say that that story is kind of BS. So
I honestly don't know that the real facts there, but
they say absolutely not that this isn't true.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
So I see, I see, there you go.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
What's on the big show tonight? I know you do
that very popular show.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
The issue is, we got a big show this week.
I caught up with Kamala Harris who was in town
in Pacific Palisades and talked to her a little bit,
her first comments since inauguration Day. Caught up with Rick
Caruso talking about this new organization that he founded and
his potential run for governor. You know it could be
Kamala Harris versus Rick Caruso as the next battle for
(04:20):
California governor. And we sit down with one of your favorites,
Billy Book. I love Billy Book in the studio and
has a new show that is is very you called
Hot Mike's where Billy just gets to be Billy rip
on on you know, politics and sports and news and
entertainment and everything, and it's it's really good and it's
(04:41):
kind of the best version of Billy.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
I heard the show is going to open up with
him and Trump and that NBC RV is that right?
Speaker 3 (04:48):
Yeah, he loves talking about that, so that it actually did.
He actually did sort of address that, and that's the
hot mics thing that they obviously gets into a lot
more current.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
But look, and that guy's career was dead after that
and he revamped himself and now he's more popular than
he was then.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
Yeah, and a testament to him and he has so
much talent and personality and uh and I think that
really shines now and he really goes after Mayor Karen
Bass in our interview and the l a late leadership
and some of what's been going on in h on
the issue is tonight, which is interesting to hear.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Alex Michaelson's with us, I will say, outside of you,
and maybe that's just because you're on the phone. I
think Billy Bush is probably the most likable guy in
the news business or in celebrityhood.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
Look at that. So I can think of the two
of us together. How could you not tune in?
Speaker 4 (05:49):
I mean, that guy's great.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
I love that Bully Belly'll see if we can get
Billy Busch to come on.
Speaker 4 (05:53):
I love that dude. Okay, I won't bring up the
Trump Rvy thing. Yeah, maybe all right.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
So I Kamala Harris goes to the Laker game. She's
sitting in row fifty eight. What's going on?
Speaker 3 (06:11):
I don't know. Did Doug not get a promotion?
Speaker 2 (06:14):
What's going Why would they do that to her? I
feel bad for her. You don't go to the Laker
game and sit where I got. I can afford those seats.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
You know. It seemed a little odd because it seems
like if you're her, you either sit courtside or you
sit in a box. Right that way, you have more
security and you're a little bit more removed. But it was.
It was strange. See, but maybe maybe the message tim
if she is considering running for governor, that she's more
woman of the people, and she's there the Lakers just
(06:43):
like Trump knows where people are. People in California love
the Lakers. So she's there showcasing her support and showcasing
that she's just one like everybody else.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
I don't buy it. I don't buy it. Somebody should
have treated her to better seats. I think that's shameful,
I really do. I mean, I know she was she
was up near where the guys are doing play by play.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
Yeah, but you know what, if you are sitting there,
you have a great view of the court. You get
to see all the action, and sometimes a little distance
is good perspective.
Speaker 4 (07:14):
Yeah. Do you think the guys on the on the
floor field that way.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
I don't know. I've never sat on the floor. I
don't know what it's like. You have that experience. I
haven't either, But it doesn't look like it doesn't look
like it's the best view. Just like if you watch
a football game and you're on you know, down on
the ground or on the court on the field, it's
you actually can't see it that well, right, butter off
a little bit with a little bit of distance.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
But like when you watch a hockey game. You know,
when you go to an NHL game and your your
seats are on the glass, you don't get a sense
of the overall game. You got to look at video
to see the overall game, like the big screens. But man,
do you get a sense on how tough those guys are,
how fast that sports sport is, how vicious it is,
and how incredible these.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
Athletes are, and how hard they hit into the glass.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
Oh yeah, it's incredible there and these you know, these
guys are playing a minimum of eighty two games a
year like that every single night.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
Is that way?
Speaker 3 (08:09):
Yeah? And and the other thing in those situations and
all the sports is just the size of a lot
of these guys too, is impressive to see up close
and personal.
Speaker 4 (08:16):
Are you a Kings fan? Kers though, okay enough Lakers.
Are you a Kings fan?
Speaker 3 (08:21):
Yeah? I am a Kings fan, And yes, I've been
to many Kings games over the years, and yes I
covered both of their Stanley Cup wins. And we're there
for that.
Speaker 4 (08:30):
You feel and h and I enjoy it.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
It's a lot of fun. It's probably the most fun
sport in person, hockey.
Speaker 4 (08:35):
And you know, there's a there's a young man.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
There's a young kid named Trevor Moore that that is
from like could have grown up a.
Speaker 5 (08:41):
Block from you, is he He's from a gory, he's
from Thousand Oaks.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
Okay, close enough, gone with it.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
And he's great. He's a great hockey player. Yeah, you know,
to grow up in southern California.
Speaker 4 (08:57):
And then play for the Kings is odd. Odd.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
Agora is not known for its hockey, so it's that's right,
two thousand.
Speaker 4 (09:05):
That's right, great, buddy.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
I appreciate you coming on. You're gonna not be at
a super Bowl party. You're going to be just standing
by in cases breaking news that sucks.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
Well, we'll be hosting the show. I mean, I'm not
like just standing by all night, but I I it
sounds like I'm not going to be at a party unfortunately. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
Yeah, maybe next year, maybe next year.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
One year, yeah, maybe next year.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
All right, buddy, I appreciate you coming on.
Speaker 3 (09:29):
Are you are you partying?
Speaker 2 (09:31):
I think I'm going for a little while to Gary
Hoffman's house. I got sort of, you know, asked when
I was buzzed. So I said yes to that, and
and I he wanted me to bring pringles.
Speaker 4 (09:43):
I thought that was an odd request.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
Once you pop, you can't stop.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
Who would have guessed that you would know? There's slogan
once you pop you can't stop. That's great, Bunny Shay
coming on and we'll talk to you next week.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
Thinger thank you, buddy.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
All right there you guys Alex and Michaelson, the happiest
guys on earth as always in a good mood, always upbeat.
You know, the first thing he came in here last week,
first thing he's ever been in the station. It's been
on those for five years, six years. Never been here
now once right down the street.
Speaker 6 (10:20):
Yeah, yeah, you're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand
from KFI A M six forty Chase on seven.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
It's a radical one. Some Mercedes Benz Chase on channel seven.
Flip on your TVs and let's watch this together. Here
ding dong with this Chase cut everybody year old class everybody.
Speaker 7 (10:44):
Yeah, and the S stands for well, you know, Florence
southbound on figure from Florence. This is an S class
Mercedes Benz looks to be about a twenty year old.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
Oh wow, you nailed that. It's going to be San
Martinez in the used car.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
Market driving very remarkable if you look at the front.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
I like the fact if this in South LA, people
in South LA don't give this guy any breathing room.
If this is an Encino, all these panic moms would
be going.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
Oh, get out of the way.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
But people in south La No, no, no, I'm not
stopping for you, dude. I got places to go. Wow,
this guy's moving, Oh my god, this is dangerous.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
Light traffic on fish.
Speaker 4 (11:27):
Flying down fish.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
In the middle here now approaching.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
Southbound figure eighty second Street, eighty third, Very eighty four,
Stop eighty four.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Any signs of slowing down, but this is he's.
Speaker 4 (11:41):
He's going to slow down here.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
To watch this.
Speaker 4 (11:46):
This guy's hugging that curve. He's going to hit somebody.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
He's panicking very Oh my god, he's so close to
hitting people.
Speaker 4 (11:54):
Oh my god. To get away from this is radical.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
He's got lots of flashing lights way back there now
using the parking lot to cut through this intersection.
Speaker 4 (12:03):
The old churches.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
Chicken're going to come out onto Manchester.
Speaker 4 (12:07):
Avenue, Manchester.
Speaker 1 (12:08):
We've already been on Manchester once.
Speaker 4 (12:10):
He came under eastbound or west west Manchester.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
Now back again doing this to try and lose those
ground and free. They have had to pull back once
again because he has driving way too fast, way too recklessly,
that way ahead of eyes on that suspect.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
I gotta shut the same thing I got. I was
on the internet, all right, let's go with the TV.
I think the TV is uh much more updated.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
Here this six although it doesn't matter.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
Though, because everything we say is ninety seconds too late. Anyway,
you know, we're ten minutes behind this case.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
He was coming four.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
All right, he's in residential now that's right, direct ninety
second and Menlo Avenue on.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
Ninety second Street. I'm being told, now, okay, pop there track,
this has a pop. Do you suspect behind the wheel
of that car.
Speaker 5 (13:03):
He's got to be careful here, man, he's behind the
wheels going to get popped there fast.
Speaker 7 (13:08):
Vehicle driving with reckless, abandoned He's gonna turn, okay, good heading,
I guess towards towards Inglewood.
Speaker 8 (13:17):
But man, it was a stolen car maybe a d
U I street and this guy is radical, and this
guy doesn't care about anybody else's life at all.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
After school it's Saturday afternoon. Yeah, the worst time for pickap.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
A torrant.
Speaker 9 (13:35):
We see these pursuits happen, and again we still don't
you said everybody off, Sorry, Chris, I was just actually
driving radical.
Speaker 4 (13:45):
No cops the d u Y, that's correct.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
The cops failed information we have at least that's what
They are treating this as a d UY suspect, but
obviously the charge to dangerous.
Speaker 4 (13:57):
The cops failed on here and.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
We're seeing a lot of really knee jerk steering here.
Makes these less last second changes to try and squeeze
the whileaving everybody here. He is retracing some of the
same territory that he has already covered, so he may
not even be looking for a specific destination. It might
(14:18):
be the case that he's looking for an opportunity to
hide somewhere, potentially dumped the vehicle and run away, or
perhaps he has out something else entirely, but either way,
the drive becomes very dangerous.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
Channel seven High Speed Pursuit.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
Channel five has it now to Channel four picked it up,
so we're go on two, five and seven with this
change and try.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
To be ready for him.
Speaker 4 (14:40):
He was always in La to a stop.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
They want to be ready for him, and that's what
the airship is positioning those ground over location. He's now
on Century Boulevard again, going westbound on Century towards Englewood.
As he's flowing.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
If he's stayed on Century, he's going to come up
on Sofar Stadium.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
Wild right turn there more traffic off north. He's really
starting to establish a little bit of a circle. Maybe
not exactly the same roads, but he's starting to do
part of southwest LA, which may provide an opportunity at
some point if he ever slows down. Possible spikes, drift,
(15:22):
very challenging and normal circumstances at these speeds, it's really
really hard starting to ease up on that gas pedal
for them to even position. And I think we're seeing
the contrary here. I think it looks like he's actually
speeding up, really pressing that gas pedal as he now
is back on Vermont Avenue heading north down.
Speaker 4 (15:43):
Through the mountains. And are the police have backed off?
Is that correct?
Speaker 7 (15:47):
The police aren't on directly on his tail right or
are they?
Speaker 1 (15:51):
They have had no choice but to back off. They're
trying to catch up. They're trying to get into a
position where they can either intercept and then maybe put
this back in pursuit mode. But it was so dangerous
to had to lostingly put it in tracking mode, give
all of that responsibility to the airship. They were still
trying to keep up with him from behind. But in
the last several minutes, as you've been able to see.
Speaker 4 (16:13):
But now he stopped lashing.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
Lights right behind him. Initially they have pulled back significantly.
That is the first sign right there. In several minutes,
there are several.
Speaker 4 (16:23):
There are cops behind him now a couple hundred.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
Feet away from him, behind him, but you could see
they're slowing.
Speaker 10 (16:30):
Down, actually lighting up a cigarette or intentionally casualist and
tracking mode. They are intentional, they're pulling back. They obviously
have no choice. They can't go through a lot of
these red lights.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
That he's but they didn't catch up. Here we have
one three LTD interceptors now on his tail, but still intentionally.
Speaker 4 (16:53):
Four cops behind him.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
He now slows down slightly down Manchester Avenue once again,
so we're starting to repeat some of the same roads.
If they can get somebody in front of them, it's
again very difficult, especially with all this other traffic, but
you look for any.
Speaker 4 (17:06):
Opportunities on Manchester.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
Now maybe they'll get the go ahead for that bit
maneuver or continue.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
I think it's westbound on Manchester. I don't know, maybe
I think it is. Yeah, he just passed Normandy to.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
Limit those options. They have those tactics.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
And you can watch it on Channel four five or seven,
and we're getting these long shots. So he's he's near
the airport. That's when we get these long you know,
faded distance shots where you can't really see him clearly.
And he's wanted for a d UI possibly stolen car.
(17:44):
This guy's gonna have a different super Bowl than the
rest of us. They wont he's the right hand turn lane.
I don't know if the cops see him there. Okay,
they can see him now.
Speaker 4 (17:52):
Here, and no onion did for him. It's over coming
up on.
Speaker 2 (17:57):
All right, we're gonna continue watching this I Speed Pursuit
Channel four, five and seven.
Speaker 4 (18:03):
God only knows. I hope nothing happens.
Speaker 2 (18:05):
This guy's driving radically out there in the Manchester area,
Manchester and Vermont area.
Speaker 4 (18:13):
It's a radical chase.
Speaker 6 (18:16):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
Am sixty.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
All right, back to this chase, LAPD pursuing a possible DUI,
possible stolen car. He's driving by SpaceX. If you know
where SpaceX is there off Hawthorn, What are the what
do you think?
Speaker 3 (18:36):
You know?
Speaker 2 (18:36):
Maybe he's like me where he's driving by SpaceX and goes, oh,
that's where SpaceX.
Speaker 4 (18:42):
Is that's what Sharon said too. It's it's like five
minutes from my house.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
Oh really, yeah, you know, a buddy of mine took
a tour of SpaceX and then we'll get back to
this chase. And he said, there's nobody that's sitting around
playing nerf ball or ping pong or on a bean
bag chair.
Speaker 4 (18:58):
Everybody's working.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Everybody is working all the time, twelve hours a day
at SpaceX. All right, the high speed chase, it's on two,
it's on four, five, seven, and that's a wrap. So two, four, five,
and seven we're watching on all the networks. Here, let's
uh channel let's go on channel seven.
Speaker 4 (19:16):
Here, let's see where he's going. Here, where are we?
French Shawn Inglewood?
Speaker 2 (19:20):
All right, moving into an alley.
Speaker 4 (19:26):
The river.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
Dangerous, just pressing once again. He's right, that's the l
A River. He's now, he's paralleling the.
Speaker 4 (19:34):
River everywhere of sailors, gears.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
They are still following from swimmers that l A p
d airship surfers right through the shot. So even though
they are disengaging on the ground temporarily, I knows the
area though, tracking his movements very carefully. Now pulling into
a parking lot. Maybe does you're looking to cut through?
Speaker 4 (19:53):
He's going to cut through.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
Looks like you might be getting ready to Yeah, maybe
you're right.
Speaker 4 (19:59):
Anymore we go here we go.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
This is dangerous. He didn't even set.
Speaker 4 (20:04):
Dangerous, so he did not park properly. We're about to
see he did not park properly. He took him three spots.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
They are calling it out now.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
I hate this guy of your screen. I was into
this guy before. I hate this guy now.
Speaker 1 (20:17):
And they are going to make their way out. The
driver's seat is about to take off. He got a smoke.
Speaker 4 (20:26):
He got smokes. He's holding something. Yeah, it's great, and
he got cigarettes.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
He's back on the moon, just enough time for him
to grab something. Who knows have even paid for it,
and got right back in that vehicle and is now
getting back.
Speaker 4 (20:41):
Let's not judge him on how he paid for.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
Chase continues under pressure here in pursuit. But l A
P D.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
Wow, I've never seen that before. Guy pulled over and
grab a pack of smoke.
Speaker 8 (20:51):
He is.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
His threat to everybody in this area, especially when you
consider it in the last few minutes here, just a
very dangerous situation. Not the type of you know that's
the way.
Speaker 4 (21:04):
I'm going to go to the liquor stores.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
Now, gotta get this guy pull up.
Speaker 4 (21:08):
Take three spaces, go in, say and split.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
If this ends tragically or if he eventually uh you know.
Speaker 7 (21:15):
Slowing down, Oh the traffic in front of it was
going to dump the vihegor turns out he just went inside,
apparently to grab something out of that mini market.
Speaker 4 (21:23):
And now he's back in and he's going for the dragon.
Speaker 7 (21:27):
I think this is westbound now, is that correct? On
one thirty ninth?
Speaker 6 (21:32):
He is?
Speaker 1 (21:32):
He's westbound on one thirty ninth, slowing down quite a
bit here, even stopping for the stop sign. We haven't
watching that. He's only really stop. He actually got to
stop sign here.
Speaker 5 (21:44):
He said that.
Speaker 4 (21:47):
Through one hundred, like he's doing something illegal.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
At a much more casual pace for some reason.
Speaker 5 (21:54):
Baby, if he if he didn't get the matches, he
just got to.
Speaker 1 (22:00):
The pressure coming off. I wonder if he thinks cars
enough that the lighter you done?
Speaker 4 (22:05):
Yeah it does.
Speaker 5 (22:07):
Yeah, twenty year old car sure got a lighter dose,
all right? Not being told residential area nine. And is
it molly Ley?
Speaker 1 (22:18):
So that lady you saw as he was over the
mini bar.
Speaker 4 (22:23):
If you heard he said, the lap is right over head.
It's giving up back in the vehicle.
Speaker 1 (22:28):
They have disengaged. Wow, everybody is turned around.
Speaker 4 (22:32):
He has a good sign to send out there to everybody.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
Yeah, has changed.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
Just be really radical on your chase and the tops
of bail.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
Much less pressure at this juncture. We will see if
that driving continues.
Speaker 4 (22:45):
He's casual man starts.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
He is smoking with all his windows up, which is encouraging. Frankly,
I guess if you pay for that smoke, it's yours.
If that's really enjoy it.
Speaker 4 (22:54):
Make it safer for everybody.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
He got.
Speaker 4 (22:58):
No, he got a pack. It looked like pursuit.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
Maybe one of the counter I think I think I
don't think he was asking what you got. I think
he just said, give me a pack of cigarettes and
and I'm with the with the anchors. I'm not sure
there was money exchange.
Speaker 9 (23:17):
Do you think he's aware the airship is no longer
above him?
Speaker 1 (23:22):
L A PD bailed on the airship too, that his
senses are a bit relieved at this point.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
There's the replay of him going into the cigarette star,
the mini mark.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
Of that helicopter.
Speaker 2 (23:33):
Yeah, full pack of cigarettes and he pop one in
his mouth on the way out, drove.
Speaker 1 (23:40):
Helicopters.
Speaker 4 (23:41):
He just drove by your ex's house, literally my neighborhood.
Speaker 1 (23:45):
The fact that he was able to run the study police.
Speaker 5 (23:48):
We're watching pursuit and and he drives by all the
chicks that Steph Fush has been around.
Speaker 4 (23:56):
What a stud You know that that is kind of stumbling.
You know, it's got to come to and.
Speaker 5 (24:02):
He's to drive past. Okay, a little less studly, but
that's crazy though. It's like, right, there is your dad
right there. Yeah, he's on the corner travel getting closed though,
where's your dad?
Speaker 4 (24:14):
What straight? Uh? Actually funny enough. We talked about pizza
show yesterday. He's close to pizza show. Okay, all right,
about to come up on pizza show. This is an
unbelievable chase.
Speaker 11 (24:26):
Pizza shows on this street.
Speaker 4 (24:28):
On Hawthorne is hawthorny. So if he keeps going continued,
they'll hit it and then turn. You know, I did
get wings last night after we talked.
Speaker 5 (24:38):
I had to jump in and pizza Hut ways nice.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
Medium buffalo, bone in medium buffalo, well done, unbelievable, biggest
treat in the world. All right, you're stuck in traffic
here westbound or west Rosecrans Avenue, Prairie Avenue, and he's
he's not being pursued by the cops anymore. The cop bail,
I wonder if he's listening to us, How can we
(25:03):
ask if he's listening to us? Maybe, Hey, if you're
in the Mercedes and you're listening to KFI, and if
you're in a chase that's the station attuned to, why
would you not turn on your hazards so we know
that you're listening to KFI And then we're part of you,
you're part of us, we're all part of the same
oneness together. But flip on your hazard lights if you're
listening to KFI in this Mercedes, literally flip on your
(25:27):
hazards and we'll know that you're listening to us, and
maybe we can talk you out of it. That's possible.
But these guys are out there. That guy's got a
wild Friday. Man, what a wild Friday, and a lot
of pressure, a lot of pressure. Try to shake LAPD.
That's a very difficult thing to do. And this guy's
done it. Event essentially he's done it for now. He
(25:49):
has split from Lapdo. The nine thousand cops weren't a
match for this guy. This guy smoked him, all right, Well,
every once in a while you lose one at this point,
and this guy, so far.
Speaker 4 (26:02):
Just a few minutes ago, has beat the cops.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
I mean, this is like a completely different person behind
the way.
Speaker 4 (26:09):
He's got the window open now he's smoking.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
If he was suspected of being under the influence earlier,
I mean, he's It's just a just he's completely so
much more joined himself, so much more relaxed, casual.
Speaker 5 (26:26):
What a story he's got to tell night neighborhoods, the
little waves, and I.
Speaker 4 (26:31):
Believe the smoke come out of that crack in the wind.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
Stops just blending in with traffic and uh, you know without.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
Any Rosecrans and Hawthorne know why that's your target there.
Speaker 4 (26:44):
Yeah, that's great.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
And dangerously on the streets.
Speaker 9 (26:48):
But you also wonder if they know something about him,
and they.
Speaker 4 (26:51):
Figure, okay, we got to take a break.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
We'll come back and continue to follow this guy as
long as news competents are going to follow him.
Speaker 4 (26:59):
But the l A p D. He backed off.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
He doesn't have his hazards on, so we don't think
he's listening to KFI. But man, if you're running away
from the cops, you really have to be listening to
KFI because we are the dominant station and you want
to know what's going on with your chase outside of
your car. So if you're running away from the cops,
you really have got to have KFI as your p one.
Speaker 4 (27:21):
You've got to be listening to KFI. Evidently this guy's not.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
But maybe that's not the dumbest thing he's ever you know,
the dumbest move in his life. I think we're experiencing
one of the dumber ones. But so far he's getting
away with it. He's getting away with it.
Speaker 4 (27:33):
There he is.
Speaker 6 (27:34):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
AM six forty.
Speaker 4 (27:41):
Hey, Inglewood Cops.
Speaker 11 (27:44):
This guy that the lapd was following is on the
corner of one fifty third and Inglewood Avenue. He's sitting
in his car right near a fire hydrant. Inglewood Cops.
If you're listening, He's on west one fifty third and
(28:05):
Inglewood Avenue. He's sitting in his car right near a
fire hydrant in the parking lot right outside a Dentnis office.
Speaker 4 (28:20):
So if you're wondering where this guy is what freeway
is that off?
Speaker 2 (28:26):
You know what, I'm not even sure that the Crozier
can they I don't even know if the news helicopters
can now continue to follow him. Isn't he a private
citizen just doing nothing?
Speaker 4 (28:37):
Now? I guess at this point, yeah.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
He's not being pursued, but he's on one fifty third
and Inglewood Avenue and Channel two bailed.
Speaker 4 (28:50):
I don't know if they can get sued for that.
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (28:53):
I don't know what the legal ramifications are, what the
legal ease and something like that is. But he's sitting
in his car, by the way, parked in front of
a fire hydrant, so that's not legal.
Speaker 4 (29:05):
One point that it's close to the four oh five.
It's right at the Inglewood Avenue on ramp.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
Okay, all right, so one fifty third and Inglewood, that's
where that chap is sitting in his car enjoying his cigarettes,
parked right outside of a fire hydrant and a denist's office.
Speaker 4 (29:22):
There's an in and out across the street too. Oh well,
maybe that's right. You can see from the four h five.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
Oh Okay, Channels seven went back to it. Yeah, Channel five,
Channel seven, all right, Chris Christy's bobb, let's go to
Channel seven.
Speaker 4 (29:36):
Stepho see what's going on here.
Speaker 1 (29:37):
Essentially gave up on this pursuit. That driving was just
too dangerous and the speeds were just too fast. They
were having a hard time keeping up with it. At
some point they made the decision to give this up.
He has now come to a full stop here at
a parking spot one hundred and fifty in that car Anglewood.
Speaker 4 (29:54):
Ask part were a fire hydrants that they can take
it in for that?
Speaker 1 (29:57):
Yeah, seven on Chris Christie ABC seven.
Speaker 2 (29:59):
I wistube and I think we all have to be
very sensitive to that over the last month, you know,
parking in front of a fire hydrant in La Man,
oh man, what's that guy thinking? Guy obviously hasn't been
watching the news. You don't know what's going on. So
he's at one fifty third and Inglewood Avenue. I don't
know if that's Inglewood cops or LAPD that area.
Speaker 4 (30:20):
I'm not sure.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
I think it's Inglewood, but that's where he is, Inglewood
and one fifty third, sitting in a parking spot, not
even a parking spot, just parked right in front of
a fire hydrant.
Speaker 4 (30:31):
It's actually Redondo Beach.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
Oh okay, so Redondo Beach cops, that's where he is.
But nobody seems to like want to bother. You know,
everyone just wants that. You know, I imagine the shift
chains at six, you know, change the shift at six.
Speaker 4 (30:47):
Go home, see your wife, your kids. Who cares? So
what guy stole the car? You know, what's he doing?
Speaker 2 (30:54):
Although the chase was pretty radical, a lot of people
could have gotten injured, people could have got killed, but
they didn't sound that. Maybe people go home, you know,
they got the super Bowl in front of them.
Speaker 4 (31:05):
Want to see what's going on with the kids. Maybe
I haven't seen them all week.
Speaker 2 (31:08):
Your you know, your shift is different from their school schedule,
so you want to go home, have a meal, watch TV,
hang out with the kids. Why complicate your life unless
you're a rookie trying to prove crap out on the streets.
If you're a veteran, you're like, we'll get him some
other day. If a guy is, you know, that dopey,
(31:29):
there'll be other shots at him. There'll be other times
where you can none have a run in with that guy.
Because my experience is a guy running from the cops
that they usually don't learn their lesson at that point.
I don't think that's rock bottom. Now they can get away. Oh,
I think that just juices them up. I think that
just gives him more courage to maybe do it again.
(31:51):
Who knows, maybe we'll see that guy again on TV.
Watch him run away from these these cops. Well, crazy world,
we live him where a guy literally away from the
cops for the better part of forty five minutes on
TV and at the end the cops said.
Speaker 4 (32:06):
Screw it, We're not picking them up. What can you do?
All right, Well, live to see another day. We are
live on KFI. Well we come back.
Speaker 2 (32:15):
