sitting president never gone to a super Bowl? I don't

You think it'll increase the security even more so. I
mean super Bowl security is already nuts. You think about
New Orleans that's just had that terrorist attack on New
Year's and now they're going to have the president there
in addition to it, so I can only imagine how
lockdown that arena's going to be. But yeah, I mean, look,

Donald Trump, if there's one thing, love him or hate him,
he totally completely understands the American zeitgeist and understands where
people eyeballs are. And there is no bigger TV event
than the super Bowl. I mean, in the past, usually
there would be a presidential interview put into the super
Bowl pregame show, and he's doing that with Brett Bhaer.
But to actually be at the super Bowl itself is

kind of smart if you think about it's kind of
surprising that no president has done it.

Now he's also going to do the pre super Bowl
interview I think with Brett Bahyer and that's gonna be
on Fox. But but in the past, Joe Biden has
turned that down, and I thought that was odd because
in the middle of an electric election season, you know,
he could have had eighty million people looking at him.

So maybe that was a sign that his staff wasn't
as confident in him as they were suggesting. Maybe we
should have all read something into it when that happened,
thought something's up here, Hey.

Look, I still kind of trying to figure out what
exactly that story is because Politico is denying that that
happened and that that money did go to them, and

I honestly don't know that the real facts there, but
they say absolutely not that this isn't true.

in Pacific Palisades and talked to her a little bit,
her first comments since inauguration Day. Caught up with Rick
Caruso talking about this new organization that he founded and
his potential run for governor. You know it could be
Kamala Harris versus Rick Caruso as the next battle for

California governor. And we sit down with one of your favorites,
Billy Book. I love Billy Book in the studio and
has a new show that is is very you called
Hot Mike's where Billy just gets to be Billy rip
on on you know, politics and sports and news and
entertainment and everything, and it's it's really good and it's

kind of the best version of Billy.

I heard the show is going to open up with
him and Trump and that NBC RV is that right?

Yeah, he loves talking about that, so that it actually did.
He actually did sort of address that, and that's the

But look, and that guy's career was dead after that
and he revamped himself and now he's more popular than
he was then.

Yeah, and a testament to him and he has so
much talent and personality and uh and I think that
really shines now and he really goes after Mayor Karen
Bass in our interview and the l a late leadership
and some of what's been going on in h on
the issue is tonight, which is interesting to hear.

think Billy Bush is probably the most likable guy in

What's going Why would they do that to her? I
feel bad for her. You don't go to the Laker
game and sit where I got. I can afford those seats.

You know. It seemed a little odd because it seems
like if you're her, you either sit courtside or you
sit in a box. Right that way, you have more
security and you're a little bit more removed. But it was.
It was strange. See, but maybe maybe the message tim
if she is considering running for governor, that she's more
woman of the people, and she's there the Lakers just

like Trump knows where people are. People in California love
the Lakers. So she's there showcasing her support and showcasing
that she's just one like everybody else.

I don't buy it. I don't buy it. Somebody should
have treated her to better seats. I think that's shameful,
I really do. I mean, I know she was she
was up near where the guys are doing play by play.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
Yeah, but you know what, if you are sitting there,
you have a great view of the court. You get
to see all the action, and sometimes a little distance
is good perspective.
Speaker 4 (07:14):
Yeah. Do you think the guys on the on the
floor field that way.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
I don't know. I've never sat on the floor. I
don't know what it's like. You have that experience. I
haven't either, But it doesn't look like it doesn't look
like it's the best view. Just like if you watch
a football game and you're on you know, down on
the ground or on the court on the field, it's
you actually can't see it that well, right, butter off
a little bit with a little bit of distance.

But like when you watch a hockey game. You know,
when you go to an NHL game and your your
seats are on the glass, you don't get a sense
of the overall game. You got to look at video
to see the overall game, like the big screens. But man,
do you get a sense on how tough those guys are,
how fast that sports sport is, how vicious it is,
and how incredible these.

Athletes are, and how hard they hit into the glass.

Oh yeah, it's incredible there and these you know, these
guys are playing a minimum of eighty two games a
year like that every single night.

Yeah? And and the other thing in those situations and
all the sports is just the size of a lot
of these guys too, is impressive to see up close
and personal.

Yeah? I am a Kings fan, And yes, I've been
to many Kings games over the years, and yes I
covered both of their Stanley Cup wins. And we're there
for that.

You feel and h and I enjoy it.

It's a lot of fun. It's probably the most fun
sport in person, hockey.

We see these pursuits happen, and again we still don't

obviously the charge to dangerous.

We're seeing a lot of really knee jerk steering here.
Makes these less last second changes to try and squeeze
the whileaving everybody here. He is retracing some of the
same territory that he has already covered, so he may
not even be looking for a specific destination. It might

be the case that he's looking for an opportunity to
hide somewhere, potentially dumped the vehicle and run away, or
perhaps he has out something else entirely, but either way,
the drive becomes very dangerous.

Channel five has it now to Channel four picked it up,
so we're go on two, five and seven with this
change and try.

They want to be ready for him, and that's what
the airship is positioning those ground over location. He's now
on Century Boulevard again, going westbound on Century towards Englewood.

If he's stayed on Century, he's going to come up
on Sofar Stadium.

Wild right turn there more traffic off north. He's really
starting to establish a little bit of a circle. Maybe
not exactly the same roads, but he's starting to do
part of southwest LA, which may provide an opportunity at
some point if he ever slows down. Possible spikes, drift,

very challenging and normal circumstances at these speeds, it's really
really hard starting to ease up on that gas pedal
for them to even position. And I think we're seeing
the contrary here. I think it looks like he's actually
speeding up, really pressing that gas pedal as he now
is back on Vermont Avenue heading north down.

Through the mountains. And are the police have backed off?
Is that correct?

The police aren't on directly on his tail right or
are they?

They have had no choice but to back off. They're
trying to catch up. They're trying to get into a
position where they can either intercept and then maybe put
this back in pursuit mode. But it was so dangerous
to had to lostingly put it in tracking mode, give
all of that responsibility to the airship. They were still
trying to keep up with him from behind. But in
the last several minutes, as you've been able to see.

But now he stopped lashing.

Lights right behind him. Initially they have pulled back significantly.
That is the first sign right there. In several minutes,
there are several.

If they can get somebody in front of them, it's
again very difficult, especially with all this other traffic, but
you look for any.

Now maybe they'll get the go ahead for that bit
maneuver or continue.

Your you know, your shift is different from their school schedule,
so you want to go home, have a meal, watch TV,
hang out with the kids. Why complicate your life unless
you're a rookie trying to prove crap out on the streets.
If you're a veteran, you're like, we'll get him some
other day. If a guy is, you know, that dopey,

there'll be other shots at him. There'll be other times
where you can none have a run in with that guy.
Because my experience is a guy running from the cops
that they usually don't learn their lesson at that point.
I don't think that's rock bottom. Now they can get away. Oh,
I think that just juices them up. I think that
just gives him more courage to maybe do it again.

Watch him run away from these these cops. Well, crazy world,

people eyeballs are. And there is no bigger TV event

But to actually be at the super Bowl itself is

surprising that no president has done it.

So maybe that was a sign that his staff wasn't

his potential run for governor. You know it could be
Kamala Harris versus Rick Caruso as the next battle for

California governor. And we sit down with one of your favorites,
Billy Book. I love Billy Book in the studio and
has a new show that is is very you called
Hot Mike's where Billy just gets to be Billy rip
on on you know, politics and sports and news and
entertainment and everything, and it's it's really good and it's

kind of the best version of Billy.

I heard the show is going to open up with
him and Trump and that NBC RV is that right?

Yeah, he loves talking about that, so that it actually did.
He actually did sort of address that, and that's the

But look, and that guy's career was dead after that
and he revamped himself and now he's more popular than

Yeah, and a testament to him and he has so
much talent and personality and uh and I think that

and some of what's been going on in h on
the issue is tonight, which is interesting to hear.

like if you're her, you either sit courtside or you
sit in a box. Right that way, you have more
security and you're a little bit more removed. But it was.
It was strange. See, but maybe maybe the message tim
if she is considering running for governor, that she's more
woman of the people, and she's there the Lakers just

like Trump knows where people are. People in California love
the Lakers. So she's there showcasing her support and showcasing
that she's just one like everybody else.

I don't buy it. I don't buy it. Somebody should
have treated her to better seats. I think that's shameful,
I really do. I mean, I know she was she
was up near where the guys are doing play by play.

Yeah, but you know what, if you are sitting there,
you have a great view of the court. You get
to see all the action, and sometimes a little distance
is good perspective.

Yeah. Do you think the guys on the on the
floor field that way.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
I don't know. I've never sat on the floor. I
don't know what it's like. You have that experience. I
haven't either, But it doesn't look like it doesn't look
like it's the best view. Just like if you watch
a football game and you're on you know, down on
the ground or on the court on the field, it's
you actually can't see it that well, right, butter off
a little bit with a little bit of distance.

But like when you watch a hockey game. You know,
when you go to an NHL game and your your
seats are on the glass, you don't get a sense
of the overall game. You got to look at video
to see the overall game, like the big screens. But man,
do you get a sense on how tough those guys are,
how fast that sports sport is, how vicious it is,
and how incredible these.

Athletes are, and how hard they hit into the glass.

Oh yeah, it's incredible there and these you know, these
guys are playing a minimum of eighty two games a
year like that every single night.

all the sports is just the size of a lot
of these guys too, is impressive to see up close
and personal.

to many Kings games over the years, and yes I

sport in person, hockey.

hide somewhere, potentially dumped the vehicle and run away, or
perhaps he has out something else entirely, but either way,
the drive becomes very dangerous.

Channel seven High Speed Pursuit.

Channel five has it now to Channel four picked it up,
so we're go on two, five and seven with this
change and try.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
To be ready for him.

He was always in La to a stop.

They want to be ready for him, and that's what
the airship is positioning those ground over location. He's now
on Century Boulevard again, going westbound on Century towards Englewood.
As he's flowing.

If he's stayed on Century, he's going to come up
on Sofar Stadium.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
Wild right turn there more traffic off north. He's really
starting to establish a little bit of a circle. Maybe
not exactly the same roads, but he's starting to do
part of southwest LA, which may provide an opportunity at
some point if he ever slows down. Possible spikes, drift,
(15:22):
very challenging and normal circumstances at these speeds, it's really
really hard starting to ease up on that gas pedal
for them to even position. And I think we're seeing
the contrary here. I think it looks like he's actually
speeding up, really pressing that gas pedal as he now
is back on Vermont Avenue heading north down.
Speaker 4 (15:43):
Through the mountains. And are the police have backed off?
Is that correct?
Speaker 7 (15:47):
The police aren't on directly on his tail right or
are they?
Speaker 1 (15:51):
They have had no choice but to back off. They're
trying to catch up. They're trying to get into a
position where they can either intercept and then maybe put
this back in pursuit mode. But it was so dangerous
to had to lostingly put it in tracking mode, give
all of that responsibility to the airship. They were still
trying to keep up with him from behind. But in
the last several minutes, as you've been able to see.

But now he stopped lashing.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
Lights right behind him. Initially they have pulled back significantly.
That is the first sign right there. In several minutes,
there are several.
Speaker 4 (16:23):
There are cops behind him now a couple hundred.

Feet away from him, behind him, but you could see
they're slowing.
Speaker 10 (16:30):
Down, actually lighting up a cigarette or intentionally casualist and
tracking mode. They are intentional, they're pulling back. They obviously
have no choice. They can't go through a lot of
these red lights.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
That he's but they didn't catch up. Here we have
one three LTD interceptors now on his tail, but still intentionally.
Speaker 4 (16:53):
Four cops behind him.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
He now slows down slightly down Manchester Avenue once again,
so we're starting to repeat some of the same roads.
If they can get somebody in front of them, it's
again very difficult, especially with all this other traffic, but
you look for any.

Opportunities on Manchester.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
Now maybe they'll get the go ahead for that bit
maneuver or continue.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
I think it's westbound on Manchester. I don't know, maybe
I think it is. Yeah, he just passed Normandy to.

Limit those options. They have those tactics.

And you can watch it on Channel four five or seven,
and we're getting these long shots. So he's he's near
the airport. That's when we get these long you know,
faded distance shots where you can't really see him clearly.
And he's wanted for a d UI possibly stolen car.

This guy's gonna have a different super Bowl than the
rest of us. They wont he's the right hand turn lane.
I don't know if the cops see him there. Okay,
they can see him now.

a tour of SpaceX and then we'll get back to
this chase. And he said, there's nobody that's sitting around

Everybody is working all the time, twelve hours a day
at SpaceX. All right, the high speed chase, it's on two,
it's on four, five, seven, and that's a wrap. So two, four, five,

consider it in the last few minutes here, just a

unbelievable chase.

they'll hit it and then turn. You know, I did
get wings last night after we talked.

Medium buffalo, bone in medium buffalo, well done, unbelievable, biggest
treat in the world. All right, you're stuck in traffic
here westbound or west Rosecrans Avenue, Prairie Avenue, and he's
he's not being pursued by the cops anymore. The cop bail,
I wonder if he's listening to us, How can we

ask if he's listening to us? Maybe, Hey, if you're
in the Mercedes and you're listening to KFI, and if
you're in a chase that's the station attuned to, why
would you not turn on your hazards so we know
that you're listening to KFI And then we're part of you,
you're part of us, we're all part of the same
oneness together. But flip on your hazard lights if you're
listening to KFI in this Mercedes, literally flip on your

hazards and we'll know that you're listening to us, and
maybe we can talk you out of it. That's possible.
But these guys are out there. That guy's got a
wild Friday. Man, what a wild Friday, and a lot
of pressure, a lot of pressure. Try to shake LAPD.
That's a very difficult thing to do. And this guy's
done it. Event essentially he's done it for now. He

has split from Lapdo. The nine thousand cops weren't a
match for this guy. This guy smoked him, all right, Well,
every once in a while you lose one at this point,
and this guy, so far.

Just a few minutes ago, has beat the cops.

I mean, this is like a completely different person behind
the way.

can now continue to follow him. Isn't he a private
citizen just doing nothing?

He's not being pursued, but he's on one fifty third

in his car, by the way, parked in front of

Okay, all right, so one fifty third and Inglewood, that's
where that chap is sitting in his car enjoying his cigarettes,
parked right outside of a fire hydrant and a denist's office.

There's an in and out across the street too. Oh well,
maybe that's right. You can see from the four h five.

Oh Okay, Channels seven went back to it. Yeah, Channel five,
Channel seven, all right, Chris Christy's bobb, let's go to

Essentially gave up on this pursuit. That driving was just
too dangerous and the speeds were just too fast. They
were having a hard time keeping up with it. At
some point they made the decision to give this up.
He has now come to a full stop here at
a parking spot one hundred and fifty in that car Anglewood.

Ask part were a fire hydrants that they can take
it in for that?

Yeah, seven on Chris Christie ABC seven.

I wistube and I think we all have to be
very sensitive to that over the last month, you know,
parking in front of a fire hydrant in La Man,
oh man, what's that guy thinking? Guy obviously hasn't been
watching the news. You don't know what's going on. So
he's at one fifty third and Inglewood Avenue. I don't
know if that's Inglewood cops or LAPD that area.

I'm not sure.

I think it's Inglewood, but that's where he is, Inglewood
and one fifty third, sitting in a parking spot, not
even a parking spot, just parked right in front of
a fire hydrant.

Oh okay, so Redondo Beach cops, that's where he is.
But nobody seems to like want to bother. You know,
everyone just wants that. You know, I imagine the shift
chains at six, you know, change the shift at six.

Go home, see your wife, your kids. Who cares? So
what guy stole the car? You know, what's he doing?
Speaker 2 (30:54):
Although the chase was pretty radical, a lot of people
could have gotten injured, people could have got killed, but
they didn't sound that. Maybe people go home, you know,
they got the super Bowl in front of them.
Speaker 4 (31:05):
Want to see what's going on with the kids. Maybe
I haven't seen them all week.
Speaker 2 (31:08):
Your you know, your shift is different from their school schedule,
so you want to go home, have a meal, watch TV,
hang out with the kids. Why complicate your life unless
you're a rookie trying to prove crap out on the streets.
If you're a veteran, you're like, we'll get him some
other day. If a guy is, you know, that dopey,
(31:29):
there'll be other shots at him. There'll be other times
where you can none have a run in with that guy.
Because my experience is a guy running from the cops
that they usually don't learn their lesson at that point.
I don't think that's rock bottom. Now they can get away. Oh,
I think that just juices them up. I think that
just gives him more courage to maybe do it again.
(31:51):
Who knows, maybe we'll see that guy again on TV.
Watch him run away from these these cops. Well, crazy world,
we live him where a guy literally away from the
cops for the better part of forty five minutes on
TV and at the end the cops said.
