Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's KFI AM six forty and you're listening to the
Conway Show on demand on the iHeartRadio app KFI AM sixty.
It is the Conway Show, Dig Dong with everybody. I'm
just getting back on my feet. I get too drunk
at maroanco Stephush and I are the only two guys drinking.

(00:22):
Everybody else was drinking soda and I don't know, coffee
and tea and steph oush and I went for Man,
how made you have? Probably had five or six drinks?
Oh is that right? And then I had more. After
the party, Me and Rich were hanging out. Ye yes, yes, yes,
yeah times. That was a great time.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Man.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Throughout the show, I'm gonna read some names and thank
some people who were kind to come down all the
way to Marongo from all over the place. There was
a guy that drove down from Nevada, Northern Nevada, the
north shore or the east shore, north shore of Lake Tahoe,
drove ten hours to be at that party. And as
he was leaving, I was in the elevator with him.

(01:03):
He didn't see me. I was standing behind him. He's like,
I don't think that was worth it. Maybe I don't know.
Maybe that was a different guy. I don't know, but
it was a lot of fun. If you didn't hit
the Marongo party, man, you miss something. It was a
really cool deal. Try to get there next year. We
do it every year around the end of October, right

(01:25):
before Halloween, and hopefully you can get the tickets for
next year. But Krozer, I gotta thank Krozier Man. He
MC the whole thing, and belly O. Everybody asked about Angel.
Everybody always asks about Angel, Angel, Angel, steph USh and
everybody else. Chris, little Oscar, everybody that came down, thank

(01:46):
you for coming down and in traffic was there, so
everybody from the station that came down helped out. We'll
mention you throughout the show, and I really really appreciate it. It
was really cool to you, all right. The Los Angeles
Dodger I don't know if you know this, but they
play a game in fifty nine minutes from now. Fifty

(02:06):
nine minutes, the Dodgers will begin Game three of the
World Series. And I don't know if I guess show
show Aotani's gonna be in, but it's it was dicey
there on Game two for a while nobody knew whether
he's gonna be out for the season, out for the year,
out till next year, out all next year. We didn't know,

(02:30):
And man, I don't if I were, if I were
running the Dodgers or own the Dodgers, I would say
to show Aotani in my you know, in my best Japanese,
no more stealing, no more stealing. Bub this is not
this is not your game. You're here to hit. Next year,
you're gonna pitch. Let's not steal, especially when the Dodgers

(02:52):
are winning. All right, show Aotani is set to play though,
in game number three. That's great news. That great news.
And if the Dodgers win this game, you know, which
is pretty reasonable that they could win, you know, the
first game in New York. But if the Dodgers win,
that means the Yankees will have to win four straight

(03:13):
games to win the World Series. I'm not sure that's
ever happened. Maybe it has, I'll have to look it up.
But to beat the Dodgers four straight is nearly impossible.
So if the Dodgers win tonight, ah, Man, I don't know.
I think they're very, very close to a world championship.
The year I was born nineteen sixty three. The Dodgers

(03:37):
swept the Yankees the year I was born. Literally, I
was born, I think five or six days after the
final game of the World Series, and the Yankees got
swept by the La Dodgers. And it may happen again.
It may happen again, another sweep of the New York Yankees.
All right, so find out about show Ayutani coming up
at five.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Eight, Dodgers come into Yankee Stadium up two games to
none after two excellent World Series games that had all
the storylines and drama that you would hope for and
some that you wouldn't show. Hey, Otani, the superstar MVP
lock for the Dodgers, getting hurt on this place, sliding
into second base late in Game two, his injury casting

(04:20):
a pall over the night and potentially this World Series.
He's a true global superstar playing in his first World Series.
But last night Dodgers manager Dave Roberts saying it looks
like Otani will be good to go, that he expects
him to play tonight here at Yankee Stadium in his
first World Series game at Yankee Stadium, and the Yankees they.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
Need a win.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
They are down two, and just ten teams ever have
come back from an O two deficit to win the
World Series, and none have come back from three.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Oh okay, I got it right. I got it right.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
And none have come back from three.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Do you hear that? Zero teams have ever come back
being down oh and three? Zero teams? Allo, with our luck,
this will be his first.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
None have come back from three. So the Dodgers have
their superstars. The Yankees are going to need theirs. There's
five MVPs playing in this World Series right now, and
it's going to be a great game three.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Yeah, and Matt Judge is stinking up the plate for
the Yankees. I think he's one to nine, four or
five or six out of forty. I think is during
the playoffs six for forty, which is buck fifty at
the plate. No good, No good, All right, we'llcome back.
We'll talk a little more about the Dodgers. A buddy

(05:40):
of mine, Tom Looney, he used to work over at
five seventy am and does a lot of TV, does
a lot of sports, and had a I don't know
if he still has his I got to catch up
with this guy. But Tom Looney is the best, and
I text him all the time. He had a Dodger
experience that I asked him to come on to talk

(06:01):
about today, and so at five oh five, right after
five o'clock, he'll be with us.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Uh, Tom Looney, you're listening to Tim Conway Junior on
demand from KFI AM six forty.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
We are continuing to thank people for coming out. Gary
and Shannon and Shannon were a very nice to come out.
Gary and Shannon from the Gary and Shannon Show and
Shannon from Gary Hoffman's House. His wife Shannon, and that
was a cool deal.

Speaker 5 (06:29):
And her sister Jen, Yes, her sister Jen.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
Chris Perez was out there. Yeah, that was American Vision Windows.
That's a cool guy. Michael Brian, Yeah, Michael Brian for sure.
And his kid was out there with them.

Speaker 5 (06:42):
Man oh man, both of his sons were with them.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
I didn't see his other kid. Yeah, I didn't know that.
Hold are those kids in their twenties?

Speaker 6 (06:51):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (06:52):
They Mike Mike around Mike you.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Withers, Bob.

Speaker 5 (06:56):
Yeah, they're uh thirty and thirty five.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Oh they look young.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
Yeah, not too bad.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
That's a good time, buddy. You can do anything downstairs.

Speaker 6 (07:06):
You win.

Speaker 5 (07:08):
No, we had a little run Jeff my youngest. He
he turned a couple hundred, like six seven hundred.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
We walked, Oh that's great, good for you.

Speaker 6 (07:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (07:20):
I played with eighty bucks and I was up to
two three hundred and I went for it.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Yeah, how'd that going?

Speaker 8 (07:27):
It always had no he always lose.

Speaker 6 (07:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
You bet to get even, you get even worse. That's right,
that's exactly right. I'm all right, thank you, Michae O'Brien. Uh.
I got a call from my wife and she said
she never does the where are you? I told her
when we were getting married, I said, please don't ever

(07:52):
do the where are you? What were you coming home?
What time are you coming home? Please? Please don't ever
do that. And since we've been married and it's going
on twenty years, twenty one years, twenty years, twenty one,
she's done it once and it was we had a

(08:13):
problem at home and she'd asked, you know, when I
was coming up once in twenty years, what time are
you going to be home? Once? What a touchdown that
is about that? Guys? Huh, Fellas you're in your car
alone driving home, how many times is your wife or
girlfriend said when you could be home? What time you

(08:34):
coming home? Why are you late? You're late? Where were you?
The whole run a lot right? My wife once in
twenty one years once. I remember when she did. I'm like, wow, Wow,
must be something serious at home. But I was on
the way home and I got stuck in traffic, so
I pulled off at is it green Spot Road? I

(08:57):
think it's green Spot Road there in Highland where they're
building where they got the biggest Lows I've ever been
to in my life. So I went to that big
ass Lows. And then they're building a Costco down there
as well. So right there. One of my favorite places
in the world is they get off in Highland and
cruise around. All the homes are big and beautiful, old school,
a lot of property. Great part of the world. Highland off.

(09:21):
I think it's green Spot. I got to look that up.
I think that's the name of it. Is that the
name of the street out there?

Speaker 4 (09:27):
It is?

Speaker 8 (09:27):
Yes?

Speaker 7 (09:28):
And did you roll into that in and out Burger
when you exited at Green Spot?

Speaker 1 (09:32):
I didn't because I was already packed with del Taco.
But I did go to that Lows. That's a big,
big ass Lows, ma'am, huge, and I like big Lows.
I like big lows and I cannot lie that was
a great one though. That's a beauty and they're building
Costco across the street, so I signed there for Costco.

(09:52):
We're going to get back in the Dodgers. But into
talking about the Dodgers, But first road rage. We have
another road range in in. It's causing a lot of
trouble on the fifteen Freeway. Maybe you been not hearing
about Angel talk about it the Kahome Pass. Let's get
some more detail.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
Well, even though the CHP reopened the southbound side of
the freeway following their investigation, that happened about two hours ago,
but as you can see, traffic still jammed approaching the
Cahom Pass and the CHP still looking for that driver
who they say pulled out a gun and shot another driver,
and what they're calling a case of road range, a
traffic nightmare on the southbound fifteen Freeway in the high Desert,

(10:31):
all lanes closed. In the Cahome Pass. A white Toyota
Tundra off the side of the road. A white Ford
F three point fifty stopped on the shoulder, at least
two bullet holes on the driver's door. The CHP saying
the driver of the F three point fifty became involved
in a road rage incident with the driver of a
black Volvo that fled the scene. The incident taking place

(10:52):
on the Oak Hills on ramp to the southbound fifteen
around nine point thirty this morning.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
Can't any careful with the road rage. You could get killed.
And if you're shooting at somebody, chances are that's caught
on video and you'll probably be nailed for it. But
manner people pissed, they are angry. We do have a
witness that came forth.

Speaker 6 (11:11):
They were exchanging words and they were honking at each other,
and that's the extent of my understanding at this point.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
Okay, well, at least I know now that at least
one of them is not a KFI listener, so that sucks.
But I've told people for I don't know, maybe five
six ten years, stop honking at people. People are too pissed,
and they don't and if you honk at them, that
could be the last person you honk at. Stop stop
honking at people. It's not worth it. Slow down. You

(11:40):
might take another minute or two to get where you're going,
probably less than that, but you're going to be a
dad when you get home, or still be a mom,
or still go to school, or still have friends. You'll
still have your life. Stop with the road rage. Stop
honking and people. I know it's really hard to do
because your blood boils when you drive. When you see
somebody do something stupid. You want to honk at him,

(12:03):
You want to give him the bird, you want to
yell at him. You can't do it anymore. You get shot.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
But it didn't stop there, the CHP, saying, the driver
of the Vovo pulled out a gun and started shoot up,
hitting the driver of the F three fifty in the lake.

Speaker 6 (12:17):
As the vehicles continued southbound, they interacted with each other,
causing both of those vehicles to collide with each other,
which resulted in the black Vovo colliding with another uninvolved vehicle,
which was a white toilet Tundra.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
The driver of the Volvo then fled the scene. The
drivers of both trucks taken to the hospital with non
life threatening injuries. This boy, the CHP, saying, the message
to the public is simple.

Speaker 6 (12:45):
We have seen some road rage incidents in this area.
Some some some road rage incidents in this area.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
I see it every day. How can the CHP just
see some I see it every single day I'm on
the freeway.

Speaker 6 (12:57):
Drive to your destination, follow the speed laws and don't
engage with other vehicles.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
Yeah. I don't know if you know this gang, but
the rules of the road, the laws in California are
made for your protection, So try to obey him if
you don't mind it.

Speaker 4 (13:10):
Cribed as a black Volvo x C seventy with damage
likely to the front and back bumpers.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
I'll bet that that. I'll bet that all three of those,
the people and those driving those cars, I bet you
dollars to donuts. Every single one of them is a
KFI listener. And the guy driving the Volvo is listening
to this right now, and he's wetting himself because you know,
he's in a lot of trouble. He doesn't want to
get caught, but this crap eventually catches up to you.

(13:39):
If you live in the high desert, you have to
listen to KFI. It's one of the few stations that
come in. We do traffic all the time. Angel's constantly
talking about the Coenpass. Everybody listens to KFI up there, Angel,
what time did this happen?

Speaker 9 (13:52):
Is?

Speaker 1 (13:52):
And it's all cleared up now.

Speaker 7 (13:53):
Huh, it is all cleared It opened up some right
around one point thirty one forty five this afternoon. And
from what I hear, it happened this morning like you're
in the nine o'clock hour, I.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
Believe early for road Ridge like that early.

Speaker 5 (14:10):
All right, you know what I owe you my life?

Speaker 8 (14:12):
Timmy.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
Oh you're so sweet, Thank you very much.

Speaker 7 (14:15):
It wasn't for Timmy, I'd still be flipping people off,
or I might not because I flipped off the wrong person.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
Look, I don't mind masculinity and hot heads and anger
and and you know, guys being guys. I think there's
not enough of that in the country anymore. I think
we've all sort of become, you know, less masculine in
this country. So when I see somebody like cut me
off or doing one hundred and fifty on the freeway,

(14:44):
I sort of appreciate that there's still little of that left.
I don't like them running into me or anybody else.
I get that, But I do like the fact that
there is some guys out there that really have hot
tempers and are not afraid, you know, to show it,
because this country does need defending, and those are the

(15:05):
guys that defend it. Those are the guys they go
into the armed services. Guys who are masculine, guys who
are protective guys who want to protect their family, their kids,
their wife, or within the exact same thing, want to
protect their kids or their husband or whatever. But guys
who are are are really macho and really sort of

(15:28):
alpha males. Those are the guys that fly around the
world and will eventually protect this country. So I don't
mind seeing that. I just don't like when people get shot.
I don't know, it seems I just don't I don't
want to get shot. I don't like being getting shot.
But I remember I was driving home from Morongo and
I saw two guys raging. And you always know when

(15:50):
two guys are raging. You know, they catch up to
each other and they they're they're they're like three inches
off each other's bumper and they're yelling at each other
and stuff. And you see it all the time Los Angeles.
Every single day you see Los Angeles and sometimes ends
up in gunfire, like this guy Bivensparia.

Speaker 4 (16:07):
Rob McMillen ABC seven Eye Witness News.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
All right, Rob McMillan out there for ABC News. We
came back. We'll talk more about the Dodgers. They start
in thirty nine minutes, thirty nine minutes to game time,
Game three of the World Series, and we don't normally
do this. Bake it here. Listen to it on Fire
seventy am. If you want to listen to the game,
it's on Fire seventy am. And I'm just helping you out.

(16:32):
You'll come back afterwards.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
I hope you're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand
from KFI AM six forty.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
What a night at the Marango Hotel. Richie is Richie
than there? Richie's in there right, Richie was there. That's
kind of cool. Carla from the news editor from the newsroom,
throw me at ding Goong boblehead. That was nice. And Delgado,
my gambling friend bet with both hands. I love that.

(17:01):
And of course Blake Trolley. I didn't see Blake until
late late.

Speaker 6 (17:05):
In the day.

Speaker 5 (17:06):
It started a little later.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
Yeah, and then Dave we put the whole thing together.
Johnny from promotions with Riley was the Mariah down there
as well. Yeah, Mariah was there and Lisa. I think
Lisa Coffin wasn't she with with Scott Cooper.

Speaker 5 (17:20):
She puts it all together from that end, and.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
Emily from KFI.

Speaker 9 (17:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Plus Tammy was there. She brought Sees.

Speaker 5 (17:29):
Candy, Thank you, Tammy.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
Nancy brought all that King's merchandise. That was very nice.

Speaker 5 (17:33):
How much you love merchant?

Speaker 1 (17:35):
Love merch Keith and is it young Dell from Yeah?
They were downstairs and he and he, I'm come out
of the elevat Veder and he gives me a car
and he goes, hey, He says, we didn't get tickets
to the event, but I just want to give you
this card and tell you my wife and I live
down the street and we wanted to say thank you.
Go no, no, no, you got to come up. He goes,

(17:56):
I'm not dressed for it. I said, no, come on up.
I'll just tell everybody you're my uncle. And then so
he's uh, he's in the elevator and I go, uncle
uncle Keith, I told you don't wear short.

Speaker 5 (18:07):
That was sweet of you. They were very nice.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
He was very nice. Man at this lovely wife. Randy
was there as well, also Michael and Nancy. Is it Roachler?

Speaker 8 (18:18):
Last year?

Speaker 5 (18:20):
It wasn't Randy the one that gave you the Walmart,
name town.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
That's right, that's great. I can go work at Walmart now.
You actually probably Lindsay and her mom, the Dakis were there,
and that was a really cool deal. And then also
people have brought the lessorda wine, yes, and nine crimes.
That was a good deal. I love the guy who
won the Burke Williams gift certificate, Tommy godlove because I said,

(18:48):
even before I asked him, I said, there's no way
that that guy knows what Burke Williams is. There's no
way and and I and I said, he'd never heard
of that place in his life. So I said, and say, hey,
you know what Burke Williams is. He goes. Is it
an athlete? I said, yeah, it's an athlete. Get it
massaged by an athlete. And I said, I said, no,

(19:09):
it's not an athlete. Is it a celebrity? I said no.
It's the biggest, most beautiful spa in California. Everybody that
I have sent there either I have given a gift
certificate to or they won something for the show. Every
single person, without exception, either writes a letter or calls
and says they've never had an experience like that.

Speaker 5 (19:30):
It's my happy place.

Speaker 8 (19:31):
It's the best.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
My wife goes there and it changes her life. I
don't give a rats ask how much it is. She
comes home a new person and that's great. Sometimes times
that's right, and she's a new person for like a
week after that. So whatever it costs, I throw money
at it. Fell.

Speaker 5 (19:52):
She spent the whole day like all the amenities.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
Like yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. They had until closing
time and they could ask her to leave. Yeah, she
gets her her money's worth. And then we learned from that.
What's here? It's d D's daughter, is it? Lindsay's Lindsay's
de D's daughter. She's a tour guide at Disneyland? What
oh here? Let me ask Brigitta Diegostino. Brigitta, what do

(20:17):
you think it costs for a tour guide to take
you around Disneyland? Per hour? They charged per hour? Oh?

Speaker 8 (20:22):
Probably one hundred bucks an hour?

Speaker 1 (20:24):
Oh really close? You're up by seven times seven hundred
dollars an hour. I think I need a new job, guys.
And you know what the minimum amount of hours seven
forty nine hundred dollars.

Speaker 8 (20:35):
I mean, I believe it. It's so expensive.

Speaker 10 (20:37):
When I take my two year old to Disney and
I'm spending like six hundred bucks to go.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
But you know what I it is the even I also,
you know, complain about, you know, spending money. But the
most beautiful pictures I have of my kid when she's
the happiest all at Disneyland, I can I can show
you thirty photos of her hired in the kite at Disneyland.
I've at age three, four or five quick Disney story.

(21:01):
But first, so it's a seven hour minimum, and so
that's forty nine hundred bucks plus tip forty nine and
twenty dollars or ten dollars. I don't know what you
lay in them, ten dollars, twenty dollars. What would you
lay on somebody if you had a forty nine hundred
dollars bill, would you give him five hundred dollar tip?

Speaker 8 (21:18):
I mean, why not? You're already up there.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
You may as well just go for it exactly right
now my kind of goal. Yeah, But I was at Disneyland.
My daughter just turned three, and she said, and she
was still in a stroller. I think that's right. Yeah,
she was two. She was two, and she's still in
a stroller, and I'm taking her through Disneyland and everybody
who works at Disney. When we passed by, they said

(21:44):
to her, happy birthday, and she said, Dad, everybody here
knows it's my birthday. And she lit up. And the
way they knew it was her birthday is when you
tell Disney it's it's your I don't know if they
still do this, if your son her daughter's birthday, they
give you a little red light that flashes and you

(22:04):
put it on the stroller where your kid can't see it,
but Disney employees see it, and when they see it,
they make a b line over there and say happy birthday.
And I can't. I still, to this day get emotional
when I talk about that.

Speaker 8 (22:20):
I do I really need we need a lot more
magic in the world.

Speaker 11 (22:23):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
It was unbelievable. She lit up like she was the
most special person in the world. So I don't care
what that costs. You know, if that was five thousand dollars,
it'd be worth it.

Speaker 8 (22:33):
Okay, Well, I'll take your kid on a tour to Disneyland.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
Perfect, she's ready to roll. All right, We'll buy Dagostina right, yes, sorry,
what's your background? TV?

Speaker 8 (22:46):
TV?

Speaker 12 (22:46):
Yes?

Speaker 10 (22:47):
TV, And now I'm doing YouTube and Instagram and all
the fun things social coaches kind of what TV station
I was working for or a TV? And I had
a show with Jesse Ventura that aired on RT.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
What's Ora TV or A TV?

Speaker 8 (22:59):
Was Larry King's independent network.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
Oh so you know Larry King?

Speaker 8 (23:03):
Well, I did know him. He is not with us anymore.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
Oh, I get that, but you know you knew him
pretty well.

Speaker 7 (23:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
Yeah. You want to hear my impression of Larry King's
fallback question when he interviews somebody. Let's hear it, all right,
I'll say, let's do Madonna. Okay, Madonna? Are you a
singer who's an actress? Or an actress who's a singer?

Speaker 8 (23:23):
That's so good.

Speaker 1 (23:24):
He does that line of questioning with everybody. I love it.
Tom Brady, are you an athlete who's a broadcaster? Or
a broadcaster is an athlete?

Speaker 8 (23:33):
That sounds exactly like him.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
It's the dumbest question in the world. It's just stalling,
you know, for more time. But I love that guy.
Larry King. He was a good friend of my dad's.
He used to go to a deli. Who's the deli
went to in Beverly Hills all the time. Nate now
Nate Now, he had his own booth at Nate Now's man,
that guy was the best. Larry King. Larry King, all right,

(23:55):
we're live. We're gonna talk a little more. Dodgers. They're
twenty minutes away from the Star, twenty four minutes away
from starting game number three in New York, New York.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
AM six forty.

Speaker 1 (24:13):
Hey, Richie, your dad was not at the party, but
he bought everybody a drink. Yeah. His card was, Oh
you brought it your dad's credit card? Yeah? Is it
Jose your dad's name, Yes, Sir Aguilera, Jose aguilad he Aguila,
all right, think going.

Speaker 5 (24:30):
Yeah, he was going around the table, what do you want?
What do you want? Everybody's ordering drinks and I, you know,
I know kind of how much you make?

Speaker 7 (24:37):
Right?

Speaker 5 (24:37):
And I turned around, I go, who's paying for this?
And he goes, my dad.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
Right, he wasn't there, but he was there in spirit.
What did that run?

Speaker 6 (24:44):
You?

Speaker 9 (24:45):
Come on?

Speaker 1 (24:45):
I haven't even looked. I have not even looked. But
I had a great time, and it looked like everyone
else was having an amazing time too. It was a
good time. It was a good time. Oh Man, enjoyed it,
really enjoyed that. All right, we have an update on
the road rage. Guess what cops are onto this guy.
They know who it is now they're looking to arrest him.

(25:07):
So road rage incident in the com paths probably a
KFI listener. Everybody who works in Victorville, who lives there,
they all listen to KFI because we're the only ones
that can They can hear up there, you know, million
miles away, and a lot of the news stories we
do are about that area. Because I'm I'm with you.

(25:28):
If I had to live my life over again, I'd
be in Victorville with a house that I could afford
and not have any more payments on it, and I
could stretch out. I love it up there, and my
wife yet toted. But if I had not, if I
had my my my brothers, if I could live anywhere,

(25:52):
I would live in Victorville, within walking distance of a Walmart.
That's my kind of life. You can just have a
few drinks and walk to Walmart. That is a cool.
Anybody who's walking distance to Walmart. You made it. You
made it all right here, Let's get the latest on
this road rage.

Speaker 9 (26:12):
Yeah, possibly related to a road rage incident this morning
and Diamond Bar, David, you can see we're right along
the twenty six hundred block of Second Street in the
city of Laverne, where the police department and their armored
bearcat have responded to a residence right here on Second Street.
They appear to be searching for a suspect in relation
to that case. Details are a few, but we are

(26:33):
awaiting official word from law enforcement at any moment, and
of course as we get new information.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
All right, that might be a different one, that might
not be related to the Cahome Pass. That might be
a different road rage. There's a lot of them out there,
so they might be looking for another guy. All right,
Let's get back into the Dodgers here, the Dodgers. Dodgers.
Dodgers Shoe Aotani is going to be playing in today

(26:58):
in game number three, which is a good sign. Freddie
Freeman's wife, she's had a really rough year. I don't
know if you know, but they had health problems, a
major health scare with one of their kids, and she
wanted to thank everybody by giving away free tickets to
the World Series.

Speaker 5 (27:16):
Hi, there, you too.

Speaker 11 (27:17):
You know, these are pretty generous tickets considering the fact
that if they were to be sold online, it'd probably
go for one thousand dollars two thousand dollars. So the
Freeman's they definitely want to say thank you to their
fans for everything they went through with their son over
the last few months, and they just want to pay
it forward and do something really nice for Dodger fans
out there.

Speaker 5 (27:34):
Now, take a look at this.

Speaker 11 (27:34):
This was posted to their Instagram page over the weekend
making the announcement for the giveaway. Freddie Freeman and his
wife Chelsea are behind this giveaway two World Series tickets,
also giving away some sign memorabilia from Freddy Freeman himself.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
That's pretty cool.

Speaker 11 (27:50):
His wife Chelsea announcing the giveaway on her Instagram page,
saying quote, we want to give back to the fans
after the outpouring of support throughout the season for the
couple's Max, who suffers from a rare gill In Bear
syndrome which left him with full body paralysis over the summer.
Max is still recovering after having to relearn to walk,
to talk, and to perform everyday functions. The winner of

(28:13):
the giveaway will receive two World Series tickets and assigned
Freddie Freeman Baseball.

Speaker 5 (28:18):
To enter, you must follow Chelsea and Freddy on Instagram.
You have to like the post.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
Hmmm, okay, I guess I could do that.

Speaker 5 (28:25):
To enter, you must follow Chelsea and Freddy on Instagram.
You have to like the post.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
Wait they do they have a combination? Is it the
wife and husband? Is it their social media or is
it they have one of each? I don't know, I
don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 11 (28:44):
That shows the announcement of the giveaway and also tag
three friends and reshare the post.

Speaker 5 (28:49):
Now, the Dodgers will be playing the New York.

Speaker 1 (28:52):
Yankees' she nailed it. She nailed it. Give a little
thought and then nailed it.

Speaker 11 (28:56):
Now the Dodgers will be playing New York Games East
today for Game three in the World Series. Last two
games are here in Los Angeles, a highly anticipated matchup
between these two story rivals.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
That's right, all right, there's a father and son, a
duo they call him. They got the Freddy Freeman ball,
the one that hit he hit out of the park
for a grand slam walkoff homer in Friday's game. Is
father and son? They have that ball?

Speaker 13 (29:29):
A wild World Series memory caught on camera as this
father and son come up with the Dodgers historic game
winning baseball.

Speaker 12 (29:37):
It's crazy that we have any ball from the world
clear Asians. But it's even more crazy that we that
we got Freddy Freeman's walk off grand slam ball.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
Is this the kid or the father? Crazy that we have.

Speaker 12 (29:49):
Any ball from the world clear Asians, But it's even
more crazy that we that we got Freddy Freeman's walk
off grand slam ball.

Speaker 13 (29:56):
A surreal moment for Zachary and his parents, Nico and
during Game one against the Yankees, all eyes were on
Freddy Freeman as he got ready to swing in the
bottom of the tenth, Nico recording on his phone, capturing
the home run hit and the mayhem.

Speaker 5 (30:10):
I didn't sue.

Speaker 1 (30:13):
We swung at that first pitch.

Speaker 14 (30:15):
It was clear that it was headed straight for us,
and Nico and Zach dove for the ground and all
of a sudden they came up with the ball.

Speaker 5 (30:25):
I mean, it was just wild.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
I wonder what that ball is going to be worth,
although it's gonna be very hard to authenticate it. Any
ball that goes in the stands about ninety nine point
nine percent of the time is not authenticated because they
can't do it. But the Otani ball for his fiftieth
home run. He joined the fifty to fifty club this year,
first guy to ever do them. They had special watermarks

(30:48):
on those balls, so they knew what it was before
it went in the stands. They had a special number
on it and special watermarks, so they authenticated. But I
don't think they did that with this ball. I don't
think it could be authenticated. I think it'll just be
a one of those things where you put it on
a shelf and you tell people it's Freddy Freeman's ball.
But there might be thirty guys that do that over
the next couple of weeks.

Speaker 15 (31:07):
That shot man instant legend status for him. Oh yeah,
like instant legend status. That's like Kurt Gibson legend status.
I mean, how much do you think they have to
win this series for this to be as legendary status
as it probably should be with that shot?

Speaker 1 (31:20):
I don't. I don't think it they do. I think
that will be legendary because nobody talks about the fact
that the that the Dodgers went on to beat the A's.
They just talk about Kirk Gibson. I think it'll I
think it'd be legendary for many, many, many many decades.
And and and I think one of the reasons it happened.

(31:41):
You know, Freddie Freeman's not just a chump. You know,
he's an ex MVP when he played for the Braves.
He won the Most Valuable Player award on the Braves.
And when you pitch around a guy to get to
the MVP, that that makes them really pissed. And that's
why he hit that thing, you know, nine hundred miles.
He had almost the exact same time eight thirty seven.

(32:06):
What was the exact same time as Kirk Gibson's run? Wow?
What was eight thirty seven? The album's A thirty nine
and Fernando Alezuela died at age sixty three, and the
score of that game six three. Wow, it's unbelievable. And
his birthday is Friday. Yeah, birthday's coming up on Friday.
They could win it on his birthday if they go

(32:28):
to Game six, But if they don't, if the Dodgers
win tonight, the Yankee is gonna have to beat the
Dodgers for straight games, which is very difficult to do,
very very difficult to do back with this father and son.
Due they got the ball, there's a.

Speaker 12 (32:42):
Huge scramble for it, and I knocked it to my dad.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
He came up with it. Oh what a great kid,
and held it up in the air. Everybody around us
was jumping around. Every He's so excited to just see
the ball. You know, I don't think he even at
that point he really cared who had the balls. I
am shocked that nobody tried to steal that ball from
that on the way out of the stadium, shocked. You know,
people were just jumping around, and I gave it to
Zach because he was the reasoning and I got the ball.

Speaker 8 (33:06):
For the ten year old.

Speaker 13 (33:07):
It was tears of joy, the magic of baseball and
his treasured hometown team.

Speaker 5 (33:13):
He's certain will win the title.

Speaker 1 (33:16):
That's right, all right, go Dodgers. They start in ten
minutes from now. We'll come back and talk to Tom Looney,
radio guy Tom Looney, and he went to he had
a great story about the Dodgers of the weekend. We'll
