(02:15):
again? Popcorn and big old coke? Wow? And how did they score
you in the theater as captain originalitywith that order? Oh that's like pretty
low basic? Yeah yeah, yeah, I guess right. You didn't look
at the popcorn and soda and go, hey, look at me, right,
like having octopus balls at Dodger Stadiumor whatever those things. Oh yeah,

(02:36):
so all right, So then youleave the theater with probably half a
soda and maybe half a popcorn.I finished the popcorn. Halfisoda though,
okay, a half soda. Andyou start looking for your car in the
Burbank parking lot where AMC is.Yes, buddy, I've been there before.
I have lost cars there many times. It's impossible to find your car
in that parking lot. It goesup and down and zigzags, and I

(03:00):
was all over place. I sawa guy about six months ago. I
saw a guy who was looking forhis car. He had his remote and
he was trying to beat the youknow, the the alarm on his car.
And he was. He was dressedup like a character, right like
the nineteen seventies. And I said, hey, buddy, you missing your
car? He said, yeah,it's a nineteen seventy five Mustang. I'm

(03:21):
like, oh, it's a classic. He goes classic. I just bought
it three weeks ago. He's beenlooking for his car since nineteen seventy five.
Stephos Wow. Wow, that's that'ssomething else. That's crazy. Your
long day here, all right,So you can't find your car for how
long? How long did you lookfor it? Close close to an hour

(03:42):
and you walked everywhere? Yeah?Do you think it's stolen? I hope
it's not, okay, but youthink it might be? Well yeah,
I mean it's in the back ofmy mind for sure. Did you have
Do you have any idea where youparked it? That's the thing I was.
I was kind of late getting there, so I just like parked.
But I know him. You know, I want to say, you know,
not to give all the specifics, but you know somewhere on P two,

(04:05):
P two where I did it,okay, because there was a lot
of it was pretty busy when Igot there. Now, do you ever
remote so if you walk by,it'll make a noise. Yeah. And
you walked up and down, yeah, everywhere. Yeah, and it's gone.
Yeah. Nothing nothing sounded off.Wow. But when he first came
in and he says, sorry, sorry a little late. But and he
told me his story and he says, I don't know, maybe it was

(04:26):
stolen, he goes, or maybeit was toad. And I said,
well, wait, why would betold? Why would it be toad?
Did you park it where it shouldn'thave been parked? Maybe because I was
in gun for Oh no, doyou do that stuff? No? Not
off it? Park it right infront of it, right right next to
the ticket office. Yeah, exactly. Throw the keys to the cops.
There you go, boys, I'mlate for the movie. Got Did you

(04:53):
park in a handicap spot when youweren't supposed to? No, definitely didn't
do that. All right, Haveyou ever done that time? No?
I don't advise it. But man, it feels nice about before I did
the track. Because they'll get acontingent of people to go over to the
parking structure and just look for hiscar. That's what we're gonna do.
Eric Sklarz with us, the producerof the John Colebelt show nice and goe

(05:14):
you he volunteered to go look forSteph Fusch's car. Yeah all right,
So now we got to get himsome idea where to start. Where when
you walk out of the AMC Theater. There's two main theater groups in there's
one in the mall, then there'sone outside the mall. Whould you go
to the one in the mall orthe one outside outside outside the mall?
Okay, so we know it's probablynot in the mall parking lot, and
there's two or three other parking lotsthat could be in. Yeah, there's

(05:35):
there's quite a few parking lots ofthat this. Okay, So we're gonna
put you on his cell phone andand talk you through this. But you're
gonna go to Burbank and look forthis guy's car. Yeah, okay,
that's very nice of me to dothat. I got I got some dinner
plans at seven in Studio City,so I got cancel canceled so he can
got all the time in the worldexactly enjoy yourself. I didn't even realize

(05:57):
Easter was the Sunday until about threehours ago when someone told me neither to
die it's not wild, it's crazy. And to my wife made cupcakes,
I said, why these, bunny, thanks for the delicious, Thank you
gone, thank you. Wow,that's pretty cool. Yeah. So Stephanis
gets in a in an uber tocome back to the to the studio,
which is only about three miles uhtwo, three miles away, and you
had a conversation with the guy inthe uber. Yeah. He saw where

(06:19):
I was getting dropped off, andas I was telling him, He's like,
oh, I heard media. Isaid yeah. He oh, do
you work in the radio? Isaid yeah, And he goes, do
you? Uh? Are you?You can't hid? And I'm like,
yeah, I work with Conway, saying are you the foods? And I'm
like, yeah, that's me.He goes, oh, man, I
love Conways show. That's like right, it like it's so cool. I

(06:41):
love listening to him on the wayhome and this and that. So what's
a guy's name? Let's given mea shout out? Adam Adam Adam?
All right, that's really cool.Did you give him five stars? Sure?
Did almost have to write yeah, point he knows who you are.
I can't screw him there, allright? So but I also he said
he's been listening long enough to knowthat his One of his favorite days was

(07:03):
when you drove y Dodger Stadium yourealized it was everyone was there for Once
he realized who I was. Hegoes, that Otani story is one of
the highlights of that year. Itwas the coolest thing. And he goes,
is that true? I said, yeah, it's one hundred percent true.
Okay, all right, Eric's gonnago look for the car. We
came back. Tell that Otani storyfor people who missed it. It's a

(07:25):
great story. Steph foh looks likelooks like a guy in the story who
is taking a lot of acac firefrom everybody else around because of what happened.
But that Otani story is great. All right, you're gonna go to
Burbank Mall look for this thing.Yeah, I guess. So you know
the color in the make and everything. Yeah, Steph Foo sent me all
the information. I got, themake, the model, the color,

(07:45):
the license plate. You got thelicense plate? Yeah, you know,
I don't even know what my licenseplate. If my car was stolen,
I wouldn't know to tell the copOh really, no, I don't know
about license plate. Oh you know, my last one I knew was one
t Bones got rid of that. That's easy one to remember. Yeah,
and it was I had one thatI had to get rid of because it
was really weird around here. ButI had one that said crows fellas crows

(08:07):
Fellah. Wow, all right, relyve on KFI. We're gonna find the
car. Steph Lush's car is inBurbank. Don't steal it. We're coming
to get it. We're coming toget it. You're listening to Tim Conway
Junior on demand from KFI AM sixforty. We have time to tell this
story if you if you heard it, it's time to go out, and

(08:28):
I don't know, get a cigarette. If you smoke, maybe you're like
Bellyo and you smoke cigarettes. Wanderout there. But when Otani signed with
the Dodgers, it was the biggestnews story in the world. When that
happened, everybody around the world wastalking about it. Over a billion people

(08:48):
knew what was happening. Way overa billion, probably closer to to three
billion people, especially people in liketalk radio. Oh yeah, one hundred
percent. Well, especially in astation where literally I'm gonna pound out.
I don't know if you can hearthis I'm gonna knock on the wall here
next to me, and I'm gonnaI'm gonna show you that if they knock

(09:09):
back, that's the sports station thatruns the Dodger games. I'm gonna knock
on the wall here all right,I'm I'm this far away right, I'm
here, and now I'm here rightand now here this that's me knocking on
the sports station on their wall wherethey broadcast the Dodgers from. I'm if

(09:35):
I bring this mic over here,I'm three feet away from the wall where
the Dodgers broadcast from. Here's KAFIand on the other side of that wall
is KLAC five seventy AM, theDodger station. Right here, on the
other side of this wall. Righthere, that wall right there is the
Dodger station. It's less than threefeet from this microphone. We care the

(10:00):
Dodgers. The Dodgers are our partnerin that station. And it's a big,
huge deal where the Dodgers and KLACis the big station in town that
broadcasts all the games. The Dodgersare a bit huge. They're the most
popular team probably in baseball. Theyget the most fans in baseball. They're

(10:20):
the most popular team in LA byfar, by far, over three million
people go to the games every singleseason at Dodger Stadium, and so we
covered it, and we weren't askedto cover it a big way, but
we was just such a big storythat we all sort of gravitated to it
and it became a huge, hugestory here at Kafie, And so we
said, you know, uh Otani'sgonna sign tomorrow. He's got a big

(10:43):
press conference, and Thursday is goingto be the press conference. This is
on Monday. We started. Thishappened like over the weekend, and then
on Monday, everybody's talking about it, and we said, okay, on
Thursday at two o'clock, there's goingto be a press conference at Dodgers Stadium
to announce shohe Otani is signed withthe LA Dodgers. And immediately everybody knew.

(11:03):
The countdown. On Tuesday, wesaid it was going to be the
day after tomorrow. On Wednesday,it's gonna be tomorrow. It's gonna be
tomorrow two. Then on on Thursday, it's gonna be today at two pm.
Today at two, and we coveredit almost three hours. In every
hour, we covered it all theway up till Thursday. So Steph Fush
comes in our producer board up.He's driving in from the Torrents area.

(11:26):
I'm not really good on where heis because every time I say he's from
Torrance, he corrects that. Butare you from Torrance? Hawthorne? You're
from Hawthorne, But you ever livedin Torrents? Hey? I did live
in Tortons. Okay, all right, yeah, all right, let's right.
Okay, that's where it stops. Then, so he drove by and
he comes to work and he saysto Bellio, let's get Bellio on the

(11:48):
mic. Here Bellio. When StephFush came in that Thursday where Otani had
his press conference at Dodger Stadium, what did he say to you? We
got to that mic, come thereit is Okay, I don't know what's
going on with Dodger Stadium, butuh, something BIG's going down. There's
like helicopters, there's reporters all around. There was like a limo and cops

(12:11):
were like escorting it. I don'tknow what's going on. And then we
said, what do you think isgoing on there? And he goes,
oh, it's got to be somekind of funeral. Yeah, he thought
it was a funeral. Yeah, somebody big in the sporting world has passed
away, and Bellio like the verygood friend and nurturer to young talent who
sometimes make mistakes on radio. Whatdid you how did you? What did

(12:33):
you say to him to correct himand not embarrass him. I said,
hmm, I wonder what that couldbe. And then and then I ran
to you and I said, you'renot going. She was so neutral,

(12:58):
and I was like, oh,okay, not a big deal. I've
never seen her flying. I thoughtthere was an earthquake or a fire.
She came through that door and shegoes she shuts it, and she puts
her back against like a like acartoon, and she's like, you're not
gonna believe this. Out of breath, Yeah, he thinks there's a funeral
at Dodger Stadium. Your mic outthere. Yeah. He was next to

(13:22):
Otani's car and he didn't realize thatthis was the day, so so he
said, hey, I think thatwas Otani, and Steph Wu was just
like, oh, that makes sensebecause I drove by it two fifteen.
That makes perfect sense. I droveby it two fifteen, and that's when
the press conference is gonna be andthen like a half hour later, he's

(13:46):
like, but I still wonder whodied. I'm like, oh, buddy,
this is gonna be a long, long life for you. This is
gonna be a long life. What'sgoing on with you? All right?
When we come back, we're gonnasee if we can find Steph Wush's car.
He lost it in Burbank today atthe AMC parking lot. Steph with
the highest town Center six AMC townCenter six, that's where his his uber

(14:11):
is WI. I said, Steph'shad the highest of highs and lowest of
lows this week. Yeah, youreally have, Stephush really have, buddy.
Very true? Yeah, very true. I guess Ravy was your high.
And you want me to start listingthe lows? N I'm good,
he's like to live in them.I don't need you to list him because

(14:33):
I'm up to thirty eight and mypen's still full of ink. You're listening
to Tim Conway Junior on demand fromKFI AM six forty. Well, Eric
sklar is out there looking for StephWush's car somewhere in Burbank near the AMC
six theater. Has he founded Havewe heard from Eric Sklarn no updates yet,

(14:56):
No updates. Sorry, he's lookingfor Steph wus ship went to the
movies earlier today and now we're lookingfor Steph Woosh's car. You to take
an uber to the station, andhe has nothing. All your stuff is
in your car, right, everythingyou own is in that car. Man,
oh man, I feel horrible. All right, let's talk to Alex.
Michael said, East with us.Alex, how you bob ding dong

(15:16):
with you? Happy Friday? Beingit dog with you? Man, look
at you. Unbelievable news story, news stories this week, and I think
the big story is still that bridgein Baltimore. Now, yeah, I
mean I think any you know,we're never going to forget that scene of
just looking at that bridge just ina matter of seconds just collapse. I

(15:37):
mean it looks like the kind ofthing you had seen an action movie somewhere
or some sort of simulation. Yeah, to think that it's happening really in
one of our cities. I mean, obviously the good news that they were
able to stop traffic on that bridgeor else that thing could have been a
lot worse. But you feel forthose construction workers who were out there,
you know, in the middle ofthe night doing their job, and you

(15:58):
just feel for them and how youfeel for that whole city. How you
know that messes with commerce for reallythe whole country as well. All Right,
Another news story that's out there isI know governor is it Hochal what's
her name? In New York. She went to there's a memorial, a

(16:19):
service, a funeral for Officer Dillerwho passed away from a gunshot. He
was gunned down on the streets ofNew York and was killed. And the
governor went to the funeral home todayto pay her respects. She was there
for about ten minutes. She wastold to get the hell out of there.
And I don't know how I feelabout that, but I've never seen
that before, where a governor goesto pay respects for a fallen officer and

(16:41):
they get kicked out. I've neverseen that before. Yeah, that seems
unfortunate. That, of course,is the family that had Donald Trump at
the wake yesterday. Yeah, JoeBiden did not go to the wake.
Instead went to the fundraiser in NewYork with Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.
Murray raised her twenty six million dollarsand a lot of Republicans have pointed out

(17:03):
the contrast between the two Trump beingwith the fallen police officer with you know,
Joe Biden and Donald you know, recording a podcast with SmartLess guys at
the same time. So yeah,I mean, it's unfortunate how political everything
has gotten, right, but alsoa time where something like that should be
should not be a political thing, right. But Alex, two things.

(17:26):
One again, I've never seen thatbefore. You know, if you're going
to say that, you know,if you don't show up, it's disrespectful.
And then to show up and getkicked out of there, I think
as unusual. But the second pointthat I have is those the NYPD must
have reached their limit with politics andthey're losing men, they're losing women,

(17:48):
and they've had it. That musthave been because there's no upside to kicking
the governor out of a funeral orout of a service, and so they
must be at their wits end.Well, reality, there's a lot of
upside in having the governor in becauseit could potentially help you with funding or
help you with other requests that youmight need later on. So yeah,

(18:12):
I mean, I think that thelevel of anger for people with the political
process right now is certainly the highestin my lifetime. I mean, obviously,
we've had a civil war in thiscountry. There are times when we
were more divided than now, butit feels really acrimonious, which is something
that we get into a lot thisweek on the issue is we have Frank

(18:32):
Luntz, who's a you know, who's been doing focus groups for thirty years,
kind of pioneered that on TV andhe just talks about the level of
anger and with undecided voters and howpissed off everybody is right now that these
are the choices Joe Biden and DonaldTrump, and the just complete frustration people

(18:53):
have with the political process. Yeah. I was listening to him the other
day. He was on CNN andhe said something to the effect of when
the country is this angry, it'sreally hard for the incumbent to win when
they're underwater on almost every topic.Yeah, I mean, he says that
Joe Biden is losing this election morethan Donald Trump is winning. He thinks

(19:15):
if the election were held today thatDonald Trump would be the next president.
He thinks that all of these indictmentsand and sort of the aggressive going after
Donald Trump is only strengthening him.Politically and that most of his focus group
folks think that Joe Biden is tooold and out of control, and they
really don't like Kamala Harris. Thefocus group, they asked the entire focus

(19:37):
group, graize your hand if youthink she's a positive for the ticket.
There was only one hand that wentup. That was somebody who was friends
with Kamala Harrison college. Oh mygod, that's why. So the other
big story is is did he andhis problems? Did you see this coming?
Did you ever hear because evidently thishas been happening in and around Hollywood

(19:59):
for thirty twenty thirty years. Doyou ever hear rumors about stuff like this?
I have heard rumors about this fora long time. I think it
was a sort of open secret witha lot of folks in Hollywood that this
was some of what was going onin the world of Didty, But it,
you know, never became public.I mean, it's kind of fascinating,
isn't it that the Me Too movementdidn't really happen to the music industry

(20:23):
the way that it did happen tothe movie That's interesting. During that time
in twenty eighteen, it seems likethere was kind of a delayed response on
all of that, and you're startingto see some of that play out now.
And now they're pulling back, youknow, the covers on this party
environment, in the movie, inthe music industry, and Diddy may not

(20:44):
be the last person that is broughtup in all of this. That's interesting.
I never even thought about that. You're right though, but the Me
Too movement wiped out Hollywood for along time, but it didn't touch the
music business. That's why did youthink of that? Is that an original?
Alex Michael thought, it's an original? Alis Michaelson. Wow, that's
what they do. Pay me thebig bucks to show for man. That's

(21:07):
deep, buddy, that's cash evenfor you. All right. So tonight
on the show, we have misterLaunce, who I know personally. He's
got a beautiful house off Well inthe West Side. I don't know if
you've ever been to his house, but he's he's He opens his house to
a lot of functions and a lotof get togethers. He always has lapd
over there when they have a celebrating, a Christmas party, whatever. He's

(21:30):
a really decent human being and hehas a model of the Oval office and
the Lincoln bedroom at his house, wow, which we show here. Have
you been there? I've been tothe Lincoln bedroom, but I've seen the
house. Yes, Okay, yeah, he didn't spend the night in the
Lincoln bedroom like other folks have. That's correct, that's correct, that's right.

(21:53):
But he was good friends with mydad. My dad loved that guy.
And uh and I'm glad you're gonnahave one tonight. Yeah, he's
really smart. We also have Katieporter on talking about her Senate race and
uh and what's next and you knowwhat she thinks of why she lost and
sort of where she goes from here. Did you ask her if if she
regrets saying that the voting was thatshe got cheated out of that Senate race.

(22:18):
Well, she used the word rigged. Okay, all right, now
we're just that we're splitting heirs. She says that she wished she used a
different words and that and that hermessage didn't get constrained, right, Okay,
Yeah, she's trying to walk thatback a little bit because that didn't
go over so well in the DemocraticBy the way, I I think that
she has a point. I thinkit was and I think that she could

(22:42):
make a case for that. Iwas hoping that you wouldn't back down from
that comment. What the fact thatAdam Shiff spent twelve million dollars lifting up
Steve Garvey and cryptocurrency supporters spent likethree or four million dollars on negative ads
against her. Yes, I thinkthat's a case of rigging. I think

(23:02):
that's true. Yeah, it's justthat that word, as you know,
since Donald Trump said it, okay, has gotten to be such a bad
word in the You can change theword, but you can't change the offense.
I think that happened to her,and I feel bad for her.
There you go, look at you. Thank you, buddy. I come
around. I'm a slow learner. There's non learners and slow learners. I'm

(23:23):
a slow learner, buddy. I'llbe watching tonight at ten thirty. The
issue is I appreciate you coming on. Have a nice weekend, bub thanks
so much, you too, Thankyou week all right? There he goes
Kelly Kfi on the gold at theGolden Mics this weekend. Uh oh is
it the Golden Mics this weekend?Sir, No way got almighty. When
you're not up for one, itreally does pass by yeah, all right,

(23:47):
we're rooting for you two. Allright, see you bub all right,
there we go, Crozer. Areyou up for a Golden Mic?
Now? Not this year? Yourown Debora Mark is up for one.
Really yes, indeed, wow, good thoughts out to her. Don't give
him anybody belly Yo, that's sorude. Sorry got him? You know
we can hear you say that.I didn't know that. Okay, all

(24:10):
right, we'll talk to Eric Sklarr. We're looking for Stephush lost his car
or it got stolen or it gottoad. And we'll come back with Eric
Klaar and try to find steph Ush'scar. What a night here on KFI.
You'll always remember where you were whenyou listened to Steph Wush who lost
his car. You're listening to TimConway Junior on DEMYO from KFI AM six

(24:30):
forty man, oh man, We'vegot some news for you now. We
started the show with Steph Uje whowent to the movie theater to see,
uh, what'd you can see?Godzilla versus h Kong? Right, and
that's a decent movie. Pretty goodmovie, okay, all right? And
then you walked out you couldn't findyour car. Your prius. You looked
for an hour, you gave up, and you took an uber here to

(24:52):
work, suppressed out of your mind. Oh yeah, because you thought it
was stolen. Everything was gone.Yeah okay. And then we get here
and Eric Sklar, who produces theJohn Colbel Show, I'm gonna go find
his car. Yeah, I hadsome time to kill. I was like,
you know what, Steph is reallydown, and I like how he
said at first, at the topof the hour, the movie was just

(25:12):
okay. But now that we're here, he's like, oh, the movie
was pretty good. Okay, mood'schanged a bit. It changes with his
mood. And so so you drive, you leave here, and we're on
Olive and basically the one thirty fouryeah for geography freaks yep. And you
make a B line all the wayup Olive, yeah, and all the
way down Olive. And then Itake a left on First okay, and

(25:33):
then a right on Magnolia Boom,And there's a parking structure for the AMC
in Burbank right there, right onthe right. I turn right into the
driveway. First car, I seelisten, listen, first car, I
see matches. The description of Steph'scar. Okay, I'm not gonna put

(25:55):
it out there because his car isstill sitting there. I don't want anybody
to go take it, Okay.I had to be like, oh,
wow, all right, this isit. I had to double check the
license plate that Steph gave me.Didn't match. Oh no, didn't match.
Ok And this is in the firstover there. Oh my goodness.
And so this is in the firstrow of that parking structure. And I

(26:17):
in my head, I'm thinking,I'm gonna start at the top of the
parking structure and work my way down. So if I didn't see this pre
or this car, sorry, Iwas trying. He drives, Okay,
all right, so everyone knows he. I won't say the color, but
I see I see this Prius.If I didn't see it, I was
just gonna go right to the top. As I'm driving right past, I'm

(26:40):
gonna go up to the next levelout of my peripherals in that same lane
a few more cars down, buton the other side of the lane,
I see another Prius, another greatone. Yeah, And I was like,
well, all right, it's onthe first alarm right here. I
might as well just pop it inreverse, go into this lane and check
this one. Bingo, we havea winner. Steph's car. Second car.

(27:07):
I checked. Wow on the firstfloor of the parking structure. Wow,
right when you turn into the parkingstructure. So Steph, your story
checks out. You were running lateto the movie. You probably went to
the first parking spot you saw.You had no idea where you parked.
You were just like I see anopen parking spot. I got to get
to Godzilla versus car exactly. Iwish we had the video that we could

(27:29):
show you. When you told Steph, fush you found his car, his
reaction was Ravy who he and Iwas here the day Raby came by.
He was very excited. He stillis. I mean he still talks about
Ravy. Oh my goodness. Butman, he can't believe you found it,
he said. He said, ifEric was right here right now to

(27:52):
have sex with him, whoa pausand or kiss him? What'd you say?
I know, I said, Icould kiss you right now. Yeah,
it's exactly the same thing. Whatever, But I mean a part of
sex right. Quickest recognizance mission ever, I would say easily, easily get
but buddy, get the Seal Teamsix on the phone or something I need
to, like, you got tohire me out on contract workers, somebody
to get out of here. Yougot to go in with l APD of

(28:14):
the sheriffs, you know, Imean, you know if looking for missing
people or missing dogs or whatever.Man, you got to you got to
scent, you know, you geton it, put the Duke on the
on the trail and I'll find something. Boarts Man at Duke of Sports.
If you lost your car at theDuke of Sports, there you go at
d Duke of Sports. Yes,at d Duke of Sports. So when

(28:36):
you found the car, were youshocked that it was so? Were you
easily found? Honestly? Yeah?I thought I was about to be there
for at least a half an hourgoing through every single level of this park
construction. This parking structure is likesix floors. Yeah, I this is
how I envisioned it. You're therefor an hour. You're like, buddy,
look I got plans at seven. The car's not here, it's stolen

(28:56):
or it's been towed. But youwalk into the parking line, you go,
oh, there it is. Ithought I was gonna have to do
a call in from the parking structurebeing I'm stuck like I can't find it.
Yeah, I thought you were gonnalose your car as well. Two,
I'm missing cars. I definitely didit. I definitely did think about
parking somewhere, getting out of mycar and doing this by foot, and
I'm glad I didn't. Okay, now, how can you describe where it

(29:18):
is? Because he's gonna go backto that parking lot, he's not gonna
be able to find it again.Well, all you have to do go
straight down Olive okay, left onfirst, everybody old listeners, getting this
right on Magnolia okay, and thenit's a right end of the parking structure
and it's right there basically. Yeah, and no one will be next near
that prius with all his stuff init until about ten thirty. Yeah.

(29:41):
Oh geez, so fast. Wecould hide one of our cars. He
can go look again for something. What an easter egg hunt? Oh wow?
