(00:00):
It's k IF I am six fortyand you're listening to the Conway Show on
demand on the iHeartRadio app. Itis Wednesday, so tomorrow it's gonna be
a lot of traffic. It's gonnabeautiful outside, and people are going to
be heading towards the desert for thesecond weekend of Coachella. That's gonna be

(00:20):
great. Gwen Stefani will be therewith no doubt, a lot of other
surprises for you. So if you'regoing, that's great, that's a cool
deal. Imagine if you're going, you're probably young. As you get in
your seventies, I don't know alot of people that wander down there,
and I don't think that interests them. You know, as you get older,

(00:42):
you sort of like just sitting inyour chair and watching that TV seid.
Like my grandfather when he was inhis seventies, man, he come
home from work and just sit inthat chair, have a stros beer and
watch TV. That was his lifeand he wanted to be interrupted. Won't
with anything. Weddings, graduations, movies, all that was for the birds.

(01:03):
He wasn't into it. But ifyou're young and you're getting out,
there's still congratulations. It gonna bea hell of a weekend for you.
Hell of a weekend, A coachhella. All right. Meanwhile, back
here in Los Angeles and in southernCalifornia, more flash mobs to worry about.
This time. Well, like manytimes, I guess it's teens.
The teens out of control. Weare hearing from the head of the LAPD

(01:26):
Organized Retail Crime Task Force telling usmore about this suspected flash mob robbery crew
believed to possibly be juveniles, thatare accused of stealing from multiple WSS stores
in Los Angeles. Take a look. Here are some of that surveillance video
you mentioned. Because some of thesecrimes. What is the ws or SSWWSSS

(01:47):
shoe store, the WSS store,Yeah, I think it's a something shoe
warehouse. Oh I see, Okay, all right, shoewear house crimes caught
on camera. LPD providing this footageto us showing, they say, the
crew in action. They are suspectedin nine of these alleged crimes over the
last month and a half, allWSS retail stores within a few miles of

(02:09):
each other, from Boil Heights toSouthgate. Police State, involving ten to
twenty suspects. You know, Isaw the footage of this, and it
looks like a lot of the youngpeople they're stealing were stealing sweatshirts. I'm
like, why would you steal sweatshirts? Because you're gonna go to the can
for something big, you know, why not really go for it? Like

(02:31):
the guys who ripped off the armoredcar facility and walked away with thirty million
dollars sweatshirts? What what? Whydo you wanted sweatshirts? You need to
resell them for what ten bucks persweatshirt? Plus they're used or at least
well, they may not be used, but they've been stolen, so they've

(02:53):
been mishandled. They weren't neatly foldedand putting and put in the trunk of
that car as you're getting away. They were thrown in there with the old
spare tire, the old you know, tire iron, and some other paint
and material you had in the trunk. Sweat your shirts are ruined. WSS.
If you aren't familiar, it's I'mnot I'm not WSS. If you

(03:13):
aren't familiar, it's a sports appareland shoe store. Police think the merchandise
is the draw for this crew.Lapd says they enter the store in the
evening hours, wearing hooded sweatshirts, grabbing merchandise in a hurry, and then
fleeing. Basically they believe it ornot, they ride bicycles. Wow,
is that right? These guys areon their own little bicycles. That's great.
Believe it or not, they ridebicycles. Wow, man, oh

(03:36):
man, they're on bikes. That'scrazy. Into the area. They store
their bicycles somewhere close to the location, right, that makes sense, all
right? Why would you store yourbike eight miles from the location into the
area. They store their bicycles somewhereclose to the location, Then they could
detective work. Right. Then theycome in on foot, another piece of

(03:59):
good detective work. Then they comein on foot because they already stored their
bike. Maybe I should be adetective. They basically storm the store,
you know, ten to twenty deep. They're in usually in and out within
a minute. Wow, And theyrun out with a bunch of products that
they have seemed to grab. Man, what is this? In and out
within a minute. They're in andout with a man that's like me at

(04:20):
Nordstrom's rack when I go with mywife and daughter. They're in there for
about an hour a half hour, forty five minutes looking at stuff. I
stick my beacon and then I'm offeither sit in the car and listen to
talk radio or wander down to lows, walk through lows and they run out
with a bunch of products that theyhave seemed to grabbed off the racks or

(04:41):
shoes, and then they go backto their bikes and they flee the area.
God, on bicycles. These guysare on bikes. You mean to
tell me that that's not suspicious.Where there's nine guys riding bikes and they're
all holding fifty sweatshirts, that's howDon't that doesn't draw the attention of the
local cops. Something's going on.Here are photos from the LAPD. Now

(05:06):
they want help from the public toidentify these suspects, believed to be between
fifteen and twenty five years old. Please say it is likely fifteen to twenty
five. What is a twenty fiveyear old doing hanging out with a fifteen
year old? Look, I understandLiquor's pizza, but that was a movie.
That was a movie, and thosetwo kids were in love. But

(05:26):
These aren't lovers. These are opportunitists. But if I had a fifteen year
old son and he was hanging outwith twenty five year old guys, I
wouldn't allow that. I don't know. I think mom and dad are missing
the boat here. I think there'svery few dads in this groups. I

(05:47):
think this group is missing some dads. That's what's going on Los Angeles.
Also, Croze, I always thinkabout this. Do you think those kids
that did it, you know, the twenty kids that went into WSS and
stole all this stuff, Jery,do you think they're listening right now to
KFI? Oh? God, Ihope so. Wouldn't that be a wild
Yeah? I think it's a verygood possibility. Yeah, I mean I
would be if I, you know, ripped off a bunch of stuff.

(06:08):
I saw it on the news, like, oh, I gotta turn on
talk radio talking about me? Yeah. Yeah, part of the joy doing
it. Instant celebrities, they're onthe they're all over the TV. I
saw them on TV. There's somepretty good pictures of them on TV.
Or are they nervous you know, because they got pictures of them, they
got video of them, and theygot some really clear pictures of them,
all the more reason they would belistening. Yeah, you gotta, you
gotta get out of town. Ithink they gotta. They gotta hang low

(06:30):
for a while. I'd buzz intoArizona, Colorado, maybe up in the
mountain, just set out to Coachella. Yeah, go look at Butch,
Cassie and Sundance Kid and see howthey got away. Dumb and Luis do
the same thing. Yeah, guys, you gotta hang low. Cops are
after you, and they got somereally good photos of you, So get
out of down. You're listening toTim Conway Junior on demand from KFI AM

(06:54):
six forty. You know that VictorvilleI was sad for the people live in
Victorville. Why I am too?Oh you are just in general. I
have a very specific reason. Let'sdo whip around. Why do you think
I'm sad for the people in Victorville? All right, a little whip around
and we'll go through everybody. Wegot steph fush but all we start with

(07:15):
the step Baronie Tony, and thenwe'll go belly O, Angel Crozier,
and then Gary is Robin in theretoo. What's Robin's last name? Barretto
Maid. What is it Barretto madeBarretto Maid? I thought it was Bertolucci.

(07:39):
This is a Robin producer, Robinrob Is that a hyphen? Yes?
All right, don't be rude,Steph Wosh? Why am I upset?
Or why do I feel bad aboutthe people live in Victorville? Uh?
The heat? Heat? All right. I'm not gonna tell everybody until

(08:01):
the end why it is, becausehe may have got it right there,
all right, Crow, I'm sorry, Belly. Traffic, w's another good
one. Nope, I mean maybeAngel, Well, it's not really.
I'm just gonna sound like traffic. But it's just like so many people drive
through on their way to Vegas.Population. Then that's traffic. Too many

(08:28):
cars on the road, Yeah, too many cars on the road. To
many cars on the road? Nowpopulation, all right, freeway population,
too many cars on the road.So car is going below the speed limit
because of congestion? Yes, putsanother word for that. Oh, we
have a little breaking news here ata shooting investigation and Anaheim. Let's slip

(08:50):
on Channel seven here. Yeah, what's going on here on Channel seven?
Thing down? Bad news and Anaheim. We're still trying to gather that information.
But as we get that information,we will bring it right to your
reporting life from Aier seven HD.I'm Chris Christy, ABC seven. I
would just do all right, ChrisChristy, thank you, coming up.

(09:11):
We'll find out what that's about.I guess all right? Back to are
where round Crozier? Why do youthink I'm I feel bad for the people
in Victorville? He's felt bad forthem since twenty fifteen when they moved to
Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Museum toBrandson, Missouri. Wow, writing this

(09:33):
all down? All right? Gary, Why do you think I'm I feel
bad for the people in Victorville?Something to do with their lawn enforcement or
local Okay, that's a good one, Okay, all right, the cops
or lawn or local law. Yeah, long form, all right, And

(09:54):
Robin, I'm Brettoretto Meto, notMeto, just made retro made people.
I'm going with people. Can yoube more general? People in general?
Okay? People? Okay, youall none of you got it. You
weren't even close. It's sort ofdisappointing. Okay, I don't even want

(10:20):
to tell you. It's just nobodygot even closed. So it's like you
guys didn't even care, but thatstuff got closed. No, no,
it's they. They have a cookieplace out there called Crumble. Oh I
love Crumble. It's closing, LoveCrumble. Oh my god, loud,
loud, Holy Christ, I'm inhot geez Love Crumble is your pod all

(10:46):
the way up? Yeah? Wellthat was kind of close to the mic
too, Sorry. Wow, I'mso excited about Crumble though. God,
he he only gets that way, only gets that way with Crumble. Every
otherwise he's a calm guy. Buthe goes in and his eyes rolled back
like a shark wats and his teethcome out, and he goes Crumble bring
in Crumble cookies. Oh yeah,he would have passed out. It would

(11:07):
have exploded. Oh my god,Ravy and Crumble you had to call an
ambulance. But I Crumble is closingtheir Victorville location. They have one in
Victorville and it's closing. I feelplease, No, I feel horrible for
them, and and and I Ithink I figured it out. I don't

(11:30):
think the people who live in Victorvillecan justify spending five dollars on a cookie.
You do when you see it?I do love it. It's I
got a burbank one one opened onMagnolia in Hollywood. Way. That is
some f and cookie. Man,God almighty, that is wild that cookie.
And they have different ones for everyday. You know, when you

(11:50):
go there, they have a setamount that every every week has a different
set that they only make that likethat day or that week. I think,
do you like heavy frosting or nofrosting? No frosting? Well,
I don't know if they have frosting, but I'm with you, Yeah,
no frost it's so massive you don'tneed anything else. You're still talking about

(12:13):
cookies. You know it all right? But the one in Victorville's closing.
It's over. You got to getin your car and drive to Sam Bernardino
to get a crumble. And didyou say why they're closing? I think
they were doing too much business.I don't have a business major, but
I think that's why most businesses closed. They're making too much money? Is

(12:33):
that right? But it did itjust open? Wait? Is that right?
Steve? Steve's up here, Isthat right? One of the lawyers
here at KFI. He's a businessguy. Is that right there? Making
too much money? No? Idon't know, he goes, No,
that's Tim. That's silly. Soit hasn't closed yet. Oh, it

(12:54):
hasn't. I don't know. Ithink it's about too. I think if
you're if you live in Victorville, you got to get over there. Like
in the next I was gonna say, if Steve's listening, stop on buy
and grab us some Yeah, orthey Yeah, that's true because they might
discount them, or go find outwhy they're closing. Yeah, or you
know, closing due to underperformance. Is that why they're closing? Yeah?

(13:18):
Who would whould have guessed? Maybethat, Maybe it's maybe there is no
reason they're closing. Oh, they'reapparently closing a bunch of them. They're
closing, like seven of them. That location has already closed. Yeah,
they went on Palm Tail Road.Well you don't. Maybe so maybe nobody
in Victorville knows why it's closed. And Steve can do an unsolved about the

(13:41):
closure of the Crumble in Victorville, you know, make an interview people.
Oh well I'm talking to It wasa rainy Tuesday night in Victorville. We
saw the lights go out and we'rewondering, well they open again tomorrow,
and there's another udio song coming.Steve Gregory can't find you. I you

(14:01):
have to close that one. Yougotta go to the one. If you
live in Victorville, go to onein Burbank. It's on Hollywood Way,
Magnolia right. It's a like,I get it, but it's good.
Cookie. The Cookie company with onethousand stores. The CEO admitted that some
of the spots were a mistake.Guess what. Guess where the one thousand
store is? Burbank. It wasa one thousandth store that opened in Burbank.
You're incredibly knowledgeable about trumble cooking. He went down and did a photo

(14:26):
shoot. I know I don't havemuch to do on weekend. Clearly I'm
crumbled doing a photo shoot you did. Oh wait, let's go back to
breaking news on seventy here, okay, here we go break shots. Well

(14:48):
let's yeah, we need to goto break. Okay, let's go break
and we'll come back and tell youwhat's going on. Man, we can't
get this hand. I'm story.Let's turn into a tyrant. I heard
that. He's like, yeah, there's this break. This can cookie.
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior onDemya from KFI AM six forty. We're
working on two shootings. Long Beachhas a shooting in a park, and

(15:13):
Anaheim has a shooting, So it'sgoing to get crazy out there. Gang.
I think we're in for long summer. I hate to say it,
but people are worried. People arebroke. We're done with the pandemic.
Not a lot of checks are comingout for free money, and people are

(15:33):
broke, and when people don't havemoney, they do wild things wild.
Hey, Timmy, Yes, therewas another shooting reported just before my traffic
report, so I included that inAnd it's in Long Beach right at MacArthur
Park. It's at Anaheim Street andWarren Avenue. Yeah, I think that's

(15:56):
the one we're talking about in LongBeach. But unless there's two in Long
Beach, I thought, I'm sorry, I thought you said Anaheim. No,
there is two. Yeah, there'sone in Anaheim and there's one in
Long Beach, but the Long Beachone. We're trying to get information on
it right now. They're both fairlyfresh, and so as soon as we
have them, we will deliver thatnews for you. We're on it,

(16:21):
trying to get some information on theElliot's got information, You got it,
okay, all right, we dohave information on the shooting in Long Beach.
Breaking news in Long Beach, California, now comes breaking news. Just
moments ago you saw a report abouta shortage of police officers in Long Beach.
Now comes word breaking news right here, but a Long Beach police officer

(16:42):
may have been involved in a shooting. Let's get more from Chris Christy in
Air seven HD. Chris, Yeah, Mark, very few details here,
but as we pull up on thescene of this park, apparently MacArthur Park
here at the intersection of fourteenth Streetand Warren Avenue. Another large police presence
by the Long Beach Police Department, red tape around a shooting scene where apparently
somebody appears to have been transported, and you can see all of the presence

(17:07):
and the yellow tape extending all theway down the block here near the Homeland
Cultural Arts Center. Again, detailsare a few, but as we get
more, we will bring them toyour reporting Live from Aire seven HD.
I'm Chris Christie, ABC seven Iwhich loose Okay, So we're working on
that shooting, finding out more whathappened there in Long Beach. That was
ABC Channel seven News and my twobuddies, Mark Brown and Chris Christie.

(17:32):
I know both those lads and considerboth them friends. All right. Speaking
of friends, belly own belly,I consider us friends. Ran. We
have our days, okay, moregood than bad, though definitely more good.
Yes, okay, but you wrotea song I did? All right?

(17:57):
Can we play it? Would you? Please? Do you want to
set it up? Doesn'tnita set up? This is a song that I wrote.
There you go into the Conway Showtoday. You gotta turn this down
now, cheap a baby, stayin form, stay right, she's got

(18:17):
the low down load down on thetrack the Conway. Bet you want to
join the Conway please? All right. That's a good one. That's a
good one. I don't know ifit I don't know if anyone is topped
yet. The original, the oG. The original, Yeah, and

(18:40):
we're making a sitcom opening to it. We are, we Are, we
Are Gary. Oh, that's great. I can't wait to see Crozier made
a song as well. That's inthere. Okay, let's play Crozier song.
But let's let's go back to theo G and compare bellios to the
original song. Just the other dayon the airways, cool, the Conway

(19:04):
crew came on bringing news to youin Burbank's heart, where the sky sa
boom talking where the traffic and sportsjust too lit A laugh that echoes reading
your reaving home ding gong with jokes. The mood is never gone. That's

(19:25):
a good one. That's a goodone. Yeah, And the lyrics are
right. And sports spills too. That's a lyric. And now we're trying
to figure it out. Sports spillstoo. All right, here's another song
by Krozier. I think this isa Krozier song. Let's nail it here
we go, crows, I shearthe news out building, not with tails

(19:52):
so wild you think a lot?Yeah, through the airway, steady glue.
I'm browsy, young, hear withyears to show, eldest Chunn.
Lay the tuning in with Conway togather around the bands in town. With

(20:26):
croziest voice, we'll break down thetruths and tales of yester years. We'll
spend the world and calm your fearsbecause we're tuning out to day's dismay.
We're winding down with Conway. That'sgreat, dude, that's awesome. You

(20:51):
know, I'm amazed by this website. I have the same problem and one
of the reasons. I took yourname out because it pronounced it crozier crozyer
Rosier. Yeah, yeah, buthow long did once you put in all
the information I wanted to take itto create that song? Like a minute?
Is that crazy? Like yeah,I'm blown away by that. And
it's and I think that voice isa I too. I don't think anyone
it has that somebody's waiting around togo all right, let me take these

(21:17):
lyrics and sing it up. AndI don't think anybody sang you know,
the dictionary and then they just plugthem in. Yeah, right right,
And I love that you can putin the different genres of music and this,
Yeah, it's unbelievable cool. It'saudio without the A no A in
audio dot com, so it's Ud I. Oh, thank you for
that, yeah, udio dot com. And you can, you know,
write yourself a U. You cansing yourself a little diddy and do it

(21:41):
the best you can sing it formy love? So's odds understand? Is
that not how it goes? Iwrote another song my actually my uncle wrote
this song and then I stole itfrom him. But it goes. I
love you and I love spoken justjoking and you know that I throw all
my dead bottles in the lake. That's a mistake. I love you and

(22:07):
I love smoking Honey, You're justanother bad habit. I can't break there.
You go. That's crazy. Thankyou, my uncle Rustin, you've
rattled that off. Thank you man. Dang, you got that in your
phone somewhere. Ah, No,it's got I got out of my head
because he used to sing it alot, and we used to make fun
of him a lot. But it'skind of cool song. I Love you

(22:27):
and I Love smoking you. Don'thear those that that that those titles anymore?
I love you and I love smokingcigarettes. Oh how romantic. You're
listening to Tim Conway Junior on demandfrom KFI AM six forty. We have
an update here for you and theshooting. We've got two shootings that happen,

(22:52):
one in Long Beach and one inAnaheim, and we're trying to figure
out what's going on. And wehad information on the one Long Beach and
the Long Beach shooting, we havenot figured out if there's a cop involved
who got shot and somebody's transported toa hospital. Now the Anaheim shooting arge

(23:12):
crime scene being set up after ashooting. Right there in an alley way
off of Ball Road near Fern Avenue, just a few blocks to the south
of Knotsbury Farm, you can seeAnaheim police with more than a dozen units
on scene and a major investigation underway. No reports though in terms of how
many injuries. We're still trying toget to that information. But as we
get that information, we will bringit right to your reporting line from Air

(23:34):
seven HD. I'm Chris Christie.Wow. Chris Christy is on both of
them, Long Beach and Anaheim, which I don't think of that far apart.
Probably you know ten miles As thecrow flies, where's the helicopter flies.
We'll keep you up update on boththose shootings. But for right now,
we have a hockey hero. Ahero he blocks the puck from knocking

(23:56):
a little kid out. Puck wasflying into the stands, going to knock
this four year old kid out,and he stood in the way, grabbed
the puck and saved her life.In Ohio, the biggest save at this
hockey game wasn't on the ice,God, it was in the stands.
Asia Davis and her four year oldson Nasir were enjoying a Cleveland Monsters game

(24:18):
when the puck came flying into thestands. When I realized it was actually
coming, it was already there.A man sitting next to this sir reacted
with lightning fast reflexes, deflecting thepuck and likely saving the little guy from
a serious head injury. Wow,that's a good guy. You have the
kind of reactions. They should puthim in goal. Sounds like a goalie.
If you know anything about a hockeypuck, it's more dense than a
baseball. Okay, I'll give herthat. I think she's right. If

(24:41):
you know anything about a hockey puck, it's more dense than a baseball.
And I just I feel sick whenI think about it because I have the
reaction time of a sloth. Notonly did this stranger block the puck,
he also gave it to the sir. I owe that man lunch or at
dinner the next day. Asia decidedhe needed to thank the man, but
didn't have a way to contact him, so she turned to social media.

(25:03):
If you know him, please letme know. Oh that's cool. I
have the reaction time of a sloth. Her post got more than ten thousand
views in one day and caught theattention of the monsters who tracked down the
hero. I had a d Mfrom him and it just said everything happens
for a reason. I'm glad littleman is okay. His name Andrew Podolac.
That was coming out. Try toenjoy a hockey game, and next

(25:26):
thing you know, it's everything's blownup on social media. The monsters invited
all three to a game. TheSir even got to drop the ceremonial puck
before opening face off. Feir troppuff. That's cool. I have a
big opening ceremony for that puck.Fear trop puff this time, No,

(25:47):
Sir only had to worry about droppingpucks, not dodging them. Yes,
yes, yes, yes, Soeverything came out cool there. That is
fantastic, all right. Speaking ofDisneyland, we were the cast members are
now going to unionize. It lookslike the people who bring Disney characters to
life at Disneyland and California Adventure planto unionize. The announcement made just a

(26:10):
short time ago. Disneyland cast memberswho work in the parades and character departments,
along with the president of Actors EquityAssociations, say they have filed an
election petition with a national Labor RelationsBoard for Union Recognition. CAST members say
they want improvements in safety, scheduling, wages, benefits, and an opportunity

(26:30):
to have a say in their workplace. So far, no word from Disney.
There you go, all right, ding Dong Dubai. I know a
lot of people. I love goingto Dubai. It's like a world class
city. They also got inundated withrain like we did this year, tons
and tons of rain in Dubai. And if you know anything about Dubai,
it's a desert community, so thatwater has nowhere to go. Instant flash

(26:56):
flooding whenever they have a significant amountof rain. The United Arab Emirates getting
its heaviest rain ever recorded excessive rainover the past twenty four hours, flooding
out the airport in Dubai. OhI hope Deborah, our own Deborah Mark
was there. She's supposed to begoing through Dubai. I was thinking about
her as well on her way tothe Maldis. What a life she's got

(27:17):
going on, world class traveler, kept woman. Some carriers have stopped operations
temporarily. Widespread flooding covering highways andneighborhoods. State Run News Agency calling the
rain a historic weather event. Floodinghas killed at least one person and cause
damage to homes and businesses. Checkout this little kiddy though, holding on
for dear life in the middle ofa flood. Oh that poor kittie.

(27:40):
Can A police officer in a rescueboat pulled that little cat to safe,
Dick. You loud good to see. It is good to I like to
comment there at the end, catto safe, Dick. You loved good
to see. That's good to see, Dick, you loved good to see.
I like that, dude, youloved good to see. That's good
to see. All right, verygood. We gotta get out of here,

(28:02):
mo Kelly next, No, yougot one more hour? Oh yeah,
you're right. Is that really anotherhour? Yeah? Conway Show on
