today for State Farm policy holders.State Farm is asking for a thirty percent
rate increase next year on the heelsof a reset rate hike of almost twenty
percent as they drop many policy holders. They are the largest residential homeowners insurers

in California, ensuring one in fivehomes. The rate filing that State Farm
just made yesterday, they're triggering ararely used part of the insurance law.
It's a regulation that's really meant toaddress a company's financial solvency. That's what
they're saying. And we're going tolook closely at them, and we have

some serious questions about state farms financialcondition, and we're going to get to
the bottom of it. Okay,this is a big problem. You know,
if you have state farm and youlook and you had a twenty percent
increase, then a thirty percent increase, I don't know account that as a
fifty percent increase, but that's abig problem that you know. A lot
of stores are leaving, crimes up, and big insurance companies are bailing.

I mean, this is the greateststate in the world. What's going on
with us? Why do we haveso many so much crime? Why do
we have so much destruction? Withthe big insurance companies are splitting? Is
it the fires, earthquake possibility,I don't know, flood, whatever it
is. But when you have majorcompanies pulling out of California and major insurance

companies, major stores that are leaving, Walgreens, right Aid, some pizza
huts, some other restaurants in OrangeCounty are splitting, why is everyone leaving?
Are they leaving because they can't makeenough money? Yeah, that's exactly
right. They're not making enough money, so they're leaving. I don't know

if you've noticed this, but whenyou go to a fast food place.
I should say, when you goto Del Taco, there's two people working
there. You used to be fivepeople back there throwing all that stuff together
for you. Now there's two people, guy working the register and the drive
through, and another guy working hisass off making all the tacos and the
burritos. And they put that togetherpretty quickly because they can't with that meal.

They can't afford to keep five peopleten people working there. I did
notice this last night that not onlyare there fewer people working by, there
are fewer deals out there. Wedrove through McDonald's. The five dollars deal

sandwich, small fries, four nuggets, and a soda for five bucks.

warn you, well, it's adouble burger, single cheese. They don't
double up on the cheese. Theyput it between the two patties. Well,

the one you got I think isa regular double. Oh I see,

a week ago. So it's working. A lot of people are sliding in

are not enough options, particularly ifyou're in a place that has any kind
of wildfire risk. And so we'reworking on some not only wildfire risk,

an hour, and a guy fliesby you like you're standing still, going

And so we're working on some changesto the insurance regulations, long needed,

told the businesses were working and employeeswere successfully evacuated. No injuries reported.

At the Equestrian Center in Lakewood,and they're threatening to close this thing.
It's been around, I think forten thousand years. They give you an
opportunity to distress, to just lovethem. The Equestrian Center is a labor

been a first responder since the lasteighteen years of my life. Finding ways

moved because of age or health issues. On that, there's no place around

others for riding and training. Partof the land is owned by the county,
the other part Edison. The cityhas plans to wipe it out and

the Equestrian Center and that helps themout. Taylor Cohen is devastated by the

pro there's nowhere for horses to go. Some won't actually be able to be
moved because of age or health issues. On that, there's no place around
here that actually will board all ofthese horses. There are more than one

others for riding and training. Partof the land is owned by the county,
the other part Edison. The cityhas plans to wipe it out and
build a park with pickleball courts.Okay, so horses are gonna be moved

you'll see all the locals come outas well. It's a very vibrant nightlife.

not a thing. It just isn't. I also heard it was very clean.
It is immaculate. There are notrash. Why can't we do that?
There are no trash cans, trashhas picked up every single night.
Wow. So if you were toget something to eat. You don't know
where to put your trash. Usuallyif you go to a store, they'll
take your trash from you because andthen they'll put the trash down on the

street late at night and it's pickedup every single night. The place is
immaculate. And how was the foodit was? It was wonderful. Yeah,

Seoul? I? Uh no,Bussan. I stayed at the Commodore Hotel,
which is a very old hotel,but technologically it beats everything here.
