It's KFI AM six forty and you're listening to the
Conway Show on demand on the iHeartRadio app KFI.
Speaker 6 (01:38):
AM sick forty Conway Show. We're standing on the corner
of California and Alameda, and we can clearly see the
space station. There's a couple other people out here who
are also guys here with his daughter and they're looking
as well, and we saw it clearly coming over from
the southwest and northeast, and man, it is moving. You
(01:59):
can it can barely see it now. But if you
look up towards if you're in in the San Flanna Valley,
if you look up towards where Palmdale and Glendale would be,
a Palmdale and Lancaster would be, that's where you could
have seen it. It's sort of disappeared now because I
think the sun is not hitting it anymore. But clearly
(02:21):
we saw it come from from literally from the southwest
right over here where that plane is, the exact route
it took, and it's now disappeared at six those six.
So man, they were exactly right. It started literally around
six o'clock. You could barely see it. And if you're
(02:43):
on if you're we're on Olive right now, on Olive Avenue,
it would have started where Warner Brothers is go almost
directly parallel to Olive down towards downtown Burbank, and you
could clearly see it. That is unbelievable. And the light,
the sun was shining against it, and you could see
it with the naked eye, and it was flying. There
(03:06):
was a plane that was below it, and that plane's
gonna be going one hundred and eighty miles an hour
or so much closer to Earth, and it just exploded
by it.
Speaker 7 (03:14):
It was unreal.
Speaker 6 (03:15):
I've never seen it before. You ever seen it before,
Villain never seen it before. And there are a couple
of people out here looking at as well.
Speaker 8 (03:21):
But that was great.
Speaker 6 (03:22):
That was awesome to be able to see that, and
you know, and for them to be so precise too
on the timing of it was unreal. It was really cool.
It wouldn't it passed. The moon is near, so the
moon is actually considerably south of where the space station was.
But if you're up in San Jose and you saw
(03:43):
it directly go over your head, you may have seen
it go between you and the moon. That is unbelievable.
That is really cool. So that's like a once a
lifetime deal. You can see it with the naked eye,
and the moon is bright, so the Moon's lighting it up,
the Sun's flighting it up right, coming from two sources,
and clearly see it from with the naked eye in
(04:05):
Los Angeles with all the light pollution, you know, if
you're out in Palmdale or Lancaster or Mahave, if you're
even you know, further outside of Palmdale and Lancaster where
there is no light pollution at all or very little,
you could absolutely see not only the space station, but
probably the solar panels on the side as well that
(04:27):
are power in this set and for for for people,
so that that really relig is cool. If if you
did see it hit our talk back go to our website.
What's our website, Againsfior, Go to the iHeart app. Yes,
I love the iHeart app, right, yeah, the iHeart app.
And then hit the red talk back button and leave
(04:49):
us a message there and we'll we'll try to play
some of them. But it was pretty cool. I've never
seen I've never seen the space station cross over, and
it's cool to see some people out here looking at
it as well. And it wasn't once a lifetime to
deal and look with all this light pollution we have,
you know, we have iHeart here, the whole studio, by
(05:10):
the way, they're on.
Speaker 9 (05:11):
The fourth floor.
Speaker 6 (05:14):
Those two are a studio. But all this light pollution
here in La And you know, about four years ago
when somebody said light pollution, I thought they meant like
just a little bit of trash on the streets. But
it's actually from the light. And if you're in you know,
Lancaster again out in the high desert or the low desert,
(05:36):
or man, if you're in Nevada and you're clearly, you know,
away from all this light, you could absolutely see it
one hundred percent. Oh, there's Crozier a picture of a
crows up there. Crows thing gone with him and steph Och.
Look at the two of them. Oh my wallet's up there. Great, great, ah, no,
(05:58):
oh crush. All right, that is that is awesome to
have seen that. It probably was spectacularly see from a plane,
you know, no no light pollution at all. And so
I wonder if that person was on the plane from
Denver to l A, if you actually saw it. But
it was really cool to see. I know, I feel
(06:18):
like a nine year old, you know, like, oh look, dad,
I saw look, I saw, I saw it. But it
was really a cool deal and I'm glad I stayed
up late to go see it. All right, we're gonna
take a bit of a break a little earlier. We're
out here in front of the iHeart Media big building here,
(06:38):
and look at a crowd around here, a bell with
all the people waiting for autographs and pictures. Thank you, yeah,
give me a break here, right please please?
Speaker 10 (06:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (06:49):
Hey hey, hey, hey hey, that velvet rope that hey please,
that velvet rope is there for a reason, please, sweety please.

Let's get right into my one of my favorite guys,
and Dean Sharp is with us. He've heard on the
weekends here every Saturday morning and every Sunday morning. One
of the most popular shows amongst our listeners. They always
talk about it and they love aven on.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
Dean Sharp, How you, Bob, I'm I'm good. You know what,
I still you? Hey, Hey, did you go out and
see the Space Station? I did not?
Speaker 14 (10:55):
Okay, I wish I did because I am a star gazer.
Speaker 4 (10:58):
Let me tell you what you love.
Speaker 14 (11:00):
But you know, and you know what. The other thing
I was listening to you as you guys were out there.
The other weird thing was not just the space station,
but that all of those adoring fans kind of sounded
like Mello.
Speaker 5 (11:15):
Well, I know a lot of them do, but you
know that's because they're mostly like Bellio women.
Speaker 14 (11:21):
How about Yeah, all the women turn out. I know,
I know, I know they turn out for you.
Speaker 5 (11:25):
I know, Hey, when you go to when you build
a house, you know, back back when my dad and mom,
you know, we're shopping for house in the sixties, buying
a house was a big deal.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
It was fun.
Speaker 5 (11:37):
A lot of people enjoyed it, you know, you got
to see the progress of it.
Speaker 4 (11:41):
But very few people actually move into.
Speaker 5 (11:43):
Homes that are are made specifically for them anymore. You
buy an existing house, and when you buy an existing house,
you buy.
Speaker 4 (11:51):
Problems with it as well. You do, you do? You
know the old saying.
Speaker 5 (11:56):
I know you know this, Dean, But the old saying
is the only thing that works an old house is you.
Speaker 4 (12:04):
That's right, It's so right. It's so true.
Speaker 14 (12:08):
And the older the house, you know, it's rarely rare that,
you know, because an older house you get past, you know,
sixty seventy years now, it's had maybe two or three owners, right,
and they've all done their special kind.
Speaker 4 (12:22):
Of bad to it, and they did it themselves.
Speaker 14 (12:24):
And there's layers now now there's layers of problems, right,
we have to start peeling off. And yeah, you know,
so we talked about this a little bit on the
Sunday Show. We started this list that I call uh
it was this way when we bought it. You have
to say in a frustrated and embarrassing, somewhat apologetic voice
(12:47):
to get it right, you know, inheriting somebody else's mistake
on your house, and how to fix them. But it's
such a popular topic and it's such a big list
that we're going at it again this weekend where you
and I are talking about it tonight.
Speaker 5 (12:59):
You know, we have we bought new carpeting because the
carpeting that came with the house I think went through
three or four owners. It was all matted down, and
so we bought new carpet, and I made the mistake
of not pulling it up to look at the quality
of the boards underneath. So the guys that came in,
they pulled up the carpet. The boards were all mishmashed,
and they didn't want to stick around and fix them.
So I just laid down the carpet over it and
(13:20):
I and I always kicked myself in the ass for
doing that.
Speaker 14 (13:23):
Right, Well, you've got an older home, right, yeah, and
your home was built when twenty sixteen, thirty eight thirty okay,
so you've got some classic stripped red oak flooring right
underneath the all of it.
Speaker 5 (13:35):
Was it was all like mishmashed plywood, you know, like
somebody had put plywood over.
Speaker 4 (13:39):
Okay, Yeah, that's okay. And I can feel it when
I walk on the carpet.
Speaker 5 (13:43):
I can feel where those bumps are and those indentations are.
Speaker 14 (13:46):
So it's the kind of thing again, it's the kind
of thing that that you know, it's really not that tough.
Speaker 9 (13:52):
You know.
Speaker 14 (13:53):
Here's the problem that most homeowners have with their home.
They see it as this solid thing that once it's
the way it is, you don't touch it, right, I
mean you don't really, it's it's it feels like, oh,
like you're doing surgery and you're an unlicensed physician. But
the idea of like pulling up the carpet and pulling
back the pad, it's not a big deal. It goes
(14:13):
right back down again. So to live with a floor
that's weird and funky and bumpy and spongy, you know,
it's unacceptable.
Speaker 9 (14:21):
Don't do that.
Speaker 4 (14:22):
But let me ask your question.
Speaker 5 (14:24):
If you pull up the carpet and the padding, can
you stretch that carpet and the padding back over it
if you put down new plywood?
Speaker 4 (14:31):
Oh yeah, oh I didn't know that totally.
Speaker 14 (14:33):
In fact, you can, you can, and you could you
can very relatively and expensively, just have a carpet company
come out and do it for you if you just
done pro But you can these days, you can rent
carpet stretchers at tool rental places like and they're not
a mystery, and it's not that kicker thing. It's not
the kicker thing. Everybody's like, well, I've got bad knees.
I can't kick that thing.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
No you don't.
Speaker 14 (14:54):
It doesn't have to be the kicker thing. Right, there
are carpet stretchers that reach across the entire room.
Speaker 5 (14:59):
Okay, I'm going to get one to do that this
weekend I had nothing to do. Another thing that I've noticed,
when you move into a house, if a skylight hasn't
been examined or resealed in a long time, the sun
gets to it, it shrinks that seal around it, and
you get dirt and rain and water and and bugs
(15:20):
coming through there.
Speaker 4 (15:21):
Yeah, skylights can be a mess. Okay. Number one, some
people you know have cheaped out.
Speaker 14 (15:28):
Not you, not you, the house before you get himself,
and they've put on they put on like the bubble
acrylic skylight that's right, which is just useless. Right, because
here's what and I'm I'm not trying to be snooty
about this, i just want everybody to realize a skylight
is a window, right, It's a window. It's just happens
(15:48):
to be a window on the roof coming down through
the ceiling. So you don't want to cheap out on
that thing, right, you want to seal it. Well, it's
got to be flashed into the roof well, and then
you know, you buy a flat glass skylight that can
be cleaned easily, that doesn't end up yellowing over the
years or getting scratched or whatever. And the other mistake
that a lot of people make with their skylights is
(16:09):
they figure, well, there's the skylight there.
Speaker 15 (16:11):
It is.
Speaker 14 (16:11):
It's like, you know, whatever the hole is in the
in the roof, and then they just drop the shaft
coming down to the ceiling, straight down, and it's the
exact same size as the skylight right under the skylight.
And that may not be a mistake, but I just
want everybody to know the skylight's up on the roof,
the shaft that's coming down to the ceiling of your
(16:34):
living room. Let's say that ceiling is not the roof,
and so that shaft can go sideways, it can get larger, right,
it can be set at an angle. In other words,
once you got this light source up there, don't just
give it this little tunnel that it has to come
down where it just leaves one spot of light on
the living room ceiling. Open that sucker up. Let it
really spread out and do its job. Direct the light
(16:57):
wherever you want. All that is is little bit of
two by four shaft and some dry wall moving through
the attic space. You can move the light of the
skylight just about anywhere you want.
Speaker 5 (17:08):
Dean sharvists whether it's the house was for on Saturday
and Sunday morning here on KFI. You know, I see
more and more people doing this. We haven't done it
because it sounds like a huge hassle. But they take
the ceilings away and then the new roof of the
ceiling of the house is the underneath of the roof. Yep,
But isn't there an insulation problem?
Speaker 7 (17:28):
There?
Speaker 14 (17:29):
There is an insulation problem unless unless you have a
decided yeah, I want a vaulted ceiling in here, and
you've accounted for the thickness of the fiberglass or wool
insulation in order to get your R thirty rate o
R thirty and that on a piece of bat insulation
(17:49):
or roll insulation, that's not going to be just the
two x six or the two by eight that's making
up the roof rafter. Okay, you need to fur that
ceiling down a little bit further. You can still have
the vault, but you need to have the thickness there.
The only other alternative is if you're gonna have a
tight vault right up against the roof rafters and you've
only got six eight inches or so, then you need
(18:12):
to pony up the money and do spray foam insulation
up there where two or three inches are gonna get
you the R thirty bit, you know, that's that's price
the insulation.
Speaker 5 (18:22):
It does look spectacular though the times I've seen people
do it. It's a lot of work. But when it's done,
it really improves the house. Oh, believe me, I'm all
for it. It's one of those ways that I'm always
preaching to people. Listen, don't don't don't just jump to
expanding the square footage of your house just because you think, oh,
it's just so small in here. Raising the ceiling right
(18:43):
it creates volume in a room that just makes you
breathe better, and you realize most of the time, yeah,
I don't actually need more square footage. I just like
the fact that this room just feels bigger, one more thing,
and then I know you got to go. I see
this all the time in the summer in southern California.
A guy puts in a window unit an air conditioner,
(19:04):
and he doesn't realize that he's got to fill the
space between the window and the air conditioner. And sometimes
that space is filled with cardboard. Yes, well, what are
they thinking.
Speaker 14 (19:19):
I don't know how much heat is getting through that cardboard,
like all of it, exactly exactly. It's like, okay, well
we've kind of filled up the window, and we've left
a huge hole in the boat.
Speaker 4 (19:29):
Right.
Speaker 14 (19:29):
And by the way, those little rubber baffles, right, those
little pleated baffles that sometimes they sell in order to
close that up, they're just as bad. They're just as bad.
So I'll just leave you with this today here in
twenty twenty four, in the twenty first century, nobody should
be putting in window air conditioners, all right, because we've
got many split air conditioners that will just handle one
(19:53):
room or portable. I'd rather have you have a portable
air conditioner just in the room, or build a mini
split in into the wall or the ceiling somewhere to
handle just that room. Don't waste and chump up the
window space, and like you said, just create another insulation
and draft problem.
Speaker 4 (20:10):
No more, you know what.
Speaker 5 (20:11):
No more that I have noticed though, because I saw
this on YouTube, and that's always like the kiss of
death when you see something on YouTube you're incorporating to
your house.
Speaker 4 (20:19):
But I did see this.
Speaker 5 (20:20):
We have a window, not a window unit, a portable
one that has that big you know, like twelve inch
vent that pip that goes outside. And I've noticed that
if I insulate that thing with a with a blanket
or or foam it, it helps one hundred percent because
that that that exhaust pipe gets very hot.
Speaker 4 (20:42):
It does.
Speaker 14 (20:42):
It's it the air conditioner is, by the nature of refrigeration,
producing heat in that and blowing it out of the house.
So yeah, that having that thing exposed and running any
length of you know, if it's running more than two
or three feet right before it gets to the outside wall,
then it's re heating the air in the room. Exactly,
ye exactly. That puts some kind of it. Even a
(21:04):
blanket over it, you know, is better than nothing. But right,
I appreciate you coming on and we'll speak you next week.
Speaker 4 (21:11):
Sounds good, but all right, ticket, all right, man, all.
Speaker 5 (21:12):
Right, there goes Dean Sharp every Saturday and Sunday here

Speaker 4 (21:26):
Talk to him on Thursdays. What a night here. It's unbelievable.
Speaker 5 (21:31):

interviews only on Ruckus Avenue Radio A.
Speaker 11 (25:07):
Junior on demand from KFI AM sixty.
Speaker 4 (25:11):
Camp I Am.
Speaker 5 (25:12):
It's a corn It's Convoy show. Maybe he went outside
and saw the International Space Station flyby? Did a flyby?
Now it's it's out almost all over Africa right now.
Isn't that crazy?
Speaker 7 (25:24):
It is?
Speaker 5 (25:25):
It's over Africa right now. It's over the exact middle
of Africa. You know you saw it thirty minutes ago,
thirty five minutes ago. Now it's over Africa. How wild
is that? And it's gonna be coming back over but
considerably north like Seattle in about an hour, about a
(25:46):
half hour.
Speaker 4 (25:48):
All right, we got some talk back.
Speaker 5 (25:49):
People went to the app, the iHeartRadio app and left
a message for us. That's kind of cool. Let's place
some and see how crazy people are.
Speaker 16 (25:58):
I looked up. Let's see a thing at six o'clock.
The moon looks great, but no space station. So I
don't know what you saw. I think it was a hoax.
Speaker 4 (26:09):
Wait a minute, this guy fart.
Speaker 16 (26:12):
I think it was a hoax.
Speaker 4 (26:13):
He farted somebody did.
Speaker 16 (26:16):
I think it was a hoax. Oh my god, Oh
I think it was a hoax. Oh I know what
wasn't a hoax? That the fast food fart that got out.
I think it was a hoax.
Speaker 5 (26:29):
Oh wow, that's almost kind of a talent.
Speaker 4 (26:32):
How he didn't even miss a beat talking. Yeah, somebody
next to him was doing it. Well, when you get
our age, you know, I like, I remember, tell me
tim what happens when let me tell you about this.
Speaker 5 (26:42):
I got a buddy who was walking through a mall
with his eighty two year old uncle. And he's walking
through the mall and his eighty two year old uncle stops,
just stops the middle of the walkway and doesn't do
anything anything say anything, and he says, uncle Tony, okay, yeah,
yeah at eighty two.
Speaker 4 (27:03):
You can't trust the.
Speaker 5 (27:04):
Fart, so he's clenching. I don't know what it is,
what's coming down.
Speaker 16 (27:11):
Yeah, I think it was a hoax. Oh man, I
think it was a hoax.
Speaker 4 (27:17):
Yeah, well, first of all, it wasn't.
Speaker 5 (27:19):
I mean, NASA said it was going to be there,
and I saw it. It was a hoax. I'm a
I'm a believer in hoaxes. That wasn't one of them.
That's not one of them.
Speaker 17 (27:28):
Hey, guys, thank you so much for alerting us about
the space station going by. Luckily I was driving in
my Tesla and I was able to put it on
self driving mode so I could watch.
Speaker 5 (27:41):
Oh no, oh, that's great. I'd rather be with the
guy farting. I think I don't know. That's dangerous that
I don't know about that.
Speaker 4 (27:53):
That wasn't our vibe. By the way, this thing float by.
Speaker 7 (27:56):
That was very cool.
Speaker 4 (27:57):
Oh cool, glad she saw it.
Speaker 5 (27:58):
That's uh, you know, in one and one piece of
technology watching another piece of technology.
Speaker 7 (28:04):
Jim Lake Tahoe.
Speaker 4 (28:05):
Hey, Mikey, how are you bub.
Speaker 7 (28:08):
I saw the space station go over. It was at
the moon it was a beautiful sight. Hope others saw it.
Speaker 5 (28:15):
Too, Okay, Man, lake Tahoe is almost directly under it.
He saw it beautifully in Lake Tahoe. He could look
straight up to see it. We had to look at
sort of an angle. It was between the horizon and
straight up is about halfway because that had forty.
Speaker 12 (28:28):
One degrees a tim This is Stephen in Palm Springs.
Speaker 4 (28:32):
Stephen in pom Springs. What's going on in Pod Springs?
Speaker 9 (28:36):
Listening to your show?
Speaker 8 (28:37):
And I saw that space station fly by.
Speaker 12 (28:40):
It was bright as a star and it was booking
it across the sky.
Speaker 5 (28:43):
Yeah, isn't that amazing? How bright it was? Belly and
I both saw it. We had to get out of
the building and drive, you know, walk down the street
down to Olive. But man, is that thing bright. So
if you ever want to see the space station, two
hours after the sunsets and two hours before the sun rises,
you'll get your best view because the sun is deflecting
right off of it and you can see it beautiful.
Speaker 12 (29:04):
This is why I listened to KFI for things like
the Oh beautiful.
Speaker 4 (29:07):
Man, he saw it, and that's why he's listening space.
Speaker 18 (29:10):
Station fly by.
Speaker 8 (29:12):
It was bright as a star, and it was booking
it across the sky.
Speaker 6 (29:15):
This is why I listened to KFI.
Speaker 16 (29:17):
For things like that.
Speaker 4 (29:18):
Yeah, ding dong with that guy ding do.
Speaker 5 (29:21):
Okay, well you get me one too, all right, ding
dong with him ing ding dog ding ding dog.
Speaker 19 (29:27):
H Tim. I went on my roof and I live
almost near MacArthur Park downtown LA, and I saw it
and it was so beautiful.
Speaker 4 (29:36):
And I'm glad you saw it.
Speaker 5 (29:38):
And we saw it in LA where there's all kinds
of light pollution. This guy like Tahoe probably saw it
like it was a seven forty seven, you know, climbing.
Speaker 4 (29:46):
Over his house. You couldn't make out like the definition
of it, could you know what? I thought I could?
Speaker 5 (29:51):
Belliod said no, But I thought I could see the panels.
I thought I Could's big. Now it is huge, huge.
Speaker 19 (29:58):
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 7 (30:00):
That was so cool.
Speaker 5 (30:01):
Yeah, I'm glad you're I'm glad she saw that because well,
let me tell you a little bounder radio here. There's
a thing called deep footprints. Maybe you've heard that term before.
Deep footprints. It's when you remember where you were when
you heard something on the radio. Deep footprints. Yes, I
have several deep footprints. One of them is when my
(30:24):
late good friend Sam Rubin, who's passed away and I
love that guy, when he was arguing with John and
Ken on the air. I was past. I was on
the four or five right at sunset when that argument
was going on. I remember exactly where I was when
that happened. And that was I think five or six
years before I even started here. That that argument, right, Yeah,
(30:47):
that that argument about having illegal employees at your house.
Speaker 15 (30:52):
Yeah, And I.
Speaker 4 (30:53):
Remember exactly where I was when I heard that.
Speaker 5 (30:56):
But oh, here's another thing I remember is when Whitney
Houston passed away. Yes, I was driving on Magnolia crossing
over the five freeway going east. I was eastbound on
Magnolia crossing over the five freeway and I heard that
Whitney Houston died. And I think I heard it from Krozier.
You did, Yeah, you were the and I couldn't believe it.
(31:17):
I'm like, he's got to be, he's got to be.
This has got to be a bad joke or bad information.
But and then it turns out, like a lot of
things here on k if I, it was true. So
you were the guy working that day yes, sir, And
was it on John and Kenner was a weekend?
Speaker 4 (31:32):
It was a weekend. It was weekend. Yeah, that was
second yeah, yeah yeah yeah. And but he was like,
I don't know, three o'clock in the afternoon was something
like that.
Speaker 18 (31:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (31:39):
I started to trickle in little details.
Speaker 15 (31:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (31:41):
Yeah, but I remember on Magnolia Eastbound, right over the
five free when I heard Krozier.
Speaker 4 (31:46):
Say that that Whitney Houston passed away.
Speaker 19 (31:49):
I had binoculars, but you couldn't see too much.
Speaker 7 (31:53):
Thank you, hey Tim. Yeah, Hey Sharon, missus Gary listening
to you.
Speaker 8 (31:58):
On the app.
Speaker 4 (31:59):
True belle. Let's try the timing again.
Speaker 7 (32:04):
Okay, thank you, Hey Tim, Hey Sharon, this is Gary.
Speaker 4 (32:09):
There you go. That's better. Yeah, that's better, much better better.
Speaker 7 (32:15):
Hey Tim, Hey Sharon, this is Gary, listen to you
on the app.
Speaker 19 (32:20):
Gary.
Speaker 7 (32:21):
Just watch the space station fly over. Thanks for the
heads up, keep up the good word. I'm not going
to say ding dong.
Speaker 5 (32:28):
Oh he just did he did? Yeah you know you did.
Yeah he actually did right there, dig dong with that guy.
All right, that was cool. Thanks for the talk bags.
You can keep them piling in. We'll do a lot more,
play a lot more.
Speaker 4 (32:45):
Of them tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (32:47):
That was cool to see a lot of listeners saw
it as well. MacArthur Park, Palm Springs, Lake Tahoe, Barstow
and people saw it.
Speaker 4 (32:57):
They saw that space station. That's a cool deal.
Speaker 11 (33:00):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI

Speaker 5 (33:44):
If it sounds like I have a thick tongue tonight,
it's because I cracked the tooth and I have to
take that, have to have that taken care of. And
my wife was sort of stunned how I did it.
But I went to a one of those rocket fizz
(34:06):
Candy places, and I saw that they had rock candy,
and I bought a couple of sticks of rock candy,
and I but I saw that I had a couple
of sticks of rock candy, and I cracked the tooth
eating rock candy.
Speaker 4 (34:25):
And what are you seven?
Speaker 5 (34:26):
I know, I know, you know, my wife said, because
I hope insurance doesn't pay for it. I hope you
got to do it yourself. Stupid you are? You're how
old are you? You're eating rock candy? But you know
you used to remember you used get at Farrell's. They
used have it was on a stick rock candy. Last, Jawbreakers.
(34:46):
Jawbreakers were great too. I remember the one that looked
like a softball.
Speaker 1 (34:52):
And you had to like crack off like little pieces
of it, right.
Speaker 5 (34:56):
And then you get to the center and there's like
gum inside something even sweeter than the rock itself. But yeah,
Jawbreakers were great. And the one the size of a
softball would last a month. You could just go home
and just like as salt Lake, Yeah, all night, all right,
more talkbacks are coming in Pelly, is that right? Oh
my gosh, yeah, let's play him. It's the audience, right,
(35:18):
Ding Dong.
Speaker 4 (35:18):
Hey, Timmy ding.
Speaker 14 (35:19):

traffic going northbound on the one seventy listening to the show.

Speaker 4 (35:54):

we got more here, man, these guys are they love
this talk back?
Speaker 15 (36:05):
Or at least one shot.
Speaker 4 (36:07):
Why is the guy who got the picture of it?
Speaker 8 (36:09):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (36:09):
I think I saw it. But I wonder if it
was a big light that was going through the sky.
Speaker 4 (36:17):
Let me know, got him mighty about traveling across country
this guy.
Speaker 7 (36:22):
I wonder if it was a big light that was
going through the sky.
Speaker 15 (36:26):
It was I just did I seed it. I seen
it here in Lake Elsinore at about nine new degrees.
What I seen it? I seened it here in Lake
Elsinore at about nine new degrees, just a single light
streaking across the sky.
Speaker 4 (36:44):
Yeah, well I see I saw it here in Bourbank
and he seen it? Where was he? Where was this
guy seeing it?
Speaker 15 (36:50):
Sink thing? I seen it. I seened it here in
Lake Elsinore.
Speaker 4 (36:54):
There you go Lake elsinor love that area.
Speaker 20 (36:57):
Kimmy, this is Zack up in ben Morgon.
Speaker 4 (37:00):
Wow.
Speaker 20 (37:00):
See the moon and the ISS lie right to the
just south of the moon, maybe about quarter in.
Speaker 4 (37:09):
Oh that's wild. Okay, all right.
Speaker 5 (37:11):
So he's up in Oregon and he saw it fly
south of the moon. So that makes sense. That makes sense.
But if you're in San Jose, it may have gone
right through the moon. Somewhere in California. That space station
people were looking at it and it went between them
on Earth and the Moon, and you could clearly see
that space station.
Speaker 4 (37:31):
That's great. This guy saw it up in up in Bend, Oregon.
Speaker 20 (37:35):
Timmy, this isa up in Bend Orgon. I got to
see the moon and the ISS. Wow, right to the
just south of the moon maybe about quarter inchie, hold
your fingers up in the sky.
Speaker 15 (37:49):
It was gorgeous. Thanks for the heads up tonight.
Speaker 5 (37:52):
You got it man. People are listening up in all
the Woben Bend, Oregon. It's crazy.
Speaker 9 (37:56):
Take care, big dog.
Speaker 4 (37:58):
Big dog with you, buddy christ some of your birthday party.
Speaker 20 (38:02):
I went out and looked at this space station going
by because you told me too earlier.
Speaker 4 (38:09):
It was really cool.
Speaker 7 (38:10):
Once in a lifetime.
Speaker 8 (38:12):
Thanks a lot.
Speaker 4 (38:12):
Yeah, once in lifetime. Dim.
Speaker 8 (38:14):
We are here in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Speaker 5 (38:17):
Wow, how about that? Oh in Twin Falls went right
over straight over their head.
Speaker 8 (38:21):
We are here in Twin Falls, Idaho. We saw the
space sace and go right overhead.
Speaker 5 (38:27):
Yeah, it was a directly straight if you look straight up,
you could not miss it in an Idaho.
Speaker 4 (38:34):
That's crazy listening to you, Tim.
Speaker 8 (38:36):
And thanks for the note on that. So we were
able to see it first time they've ever seen the
space station.
Speaker 4 (38:42):
Oh that's cool. He's got a little kiddy with him.
Speaker 8 (38:44):
Tim, So we were able to see it first time
they've ever seen the space station.
Speaker 5 (38:48):
That sounds like a kitten. It doesn't sound like a
full grown cat. Yeah, thing done with.
Speaker 21 (38:54):
That kitten, Timmy ding Dong with you, Bellio and Angel
End Crosier and space Station. I called my wife out
in Palmdale as she was at home with our son,
and I told him to go outside and.
Speaker 8 (39:09):
Check it out.
Speaker 7 (39:10):
And they did see it with the naked eye. Wow,
it looked like.
Speaker 21 (39:13):
It had little wings on the side, which I was
the solar panels.
Speaker 5 (39:16):
So see that, Bellio. I said it had little wings
on the side. And you said I was drunkard or high.
I said, no, yeah, I said, I see the little
you know, the solar panel wings.
Speaker 4 (39:25):
I saw him. I seen them, So now I believe you.
He said, yeah, that's right, Thank.
Speaker 7 (39:29):
You so much.
Speaker 21 (39:31):

to Watch twenty twenty four and the Moon Desk.
Speaker 7 (39:38):
Get Moon the Moon Desk.
Speaker 5 (39:42):
The Moon Desk gets his first shout out. It's Bellio
at the Moon Desk.
Speaker 10 (39:48):
Hey, this is Ronnie from Long Beach. I was outside
in my backyard in the dark waiting. I believe I
saw it. However, I lived near the airport. There's so
much stuff flying. I'm not sure, but I almost am
positive I saw it. This so amazingly cool.
Speaker 5 (40:06):
Yeah, in Long Beach, you know you can see it
very much clearer in Long Beach than you can anywhere else.
And if you look close enough you can see it. It
says Spirit on the side of it. And it looks
yellowish down in Long Beach. So if you saw a
yellow thing up in the sky that said Spirit on it,
that's the space station. They have Spirit written on the
side of it.
Speaker 8 (40:25):
Hey, Jim Nell was so cool.
Speaker 18 (40:26):
I gotta thank you for giving me a heads up
on that. I was on top of a parking garage
in Guardina at a cameo college and wow, I watched
that thing go by, and I brought out my phone
that has skyview kind of app on. It shows consolations,
and it showed the space station. That couple of last
night's blast out of Vandenburg. That rocket was cool last
night too. What a great night or day a couple
of days aforeow sky Thanks man, I appreciate it.
Speaker 5 (40:49):
That's great. That's a great call. I've been guardian on
a parking lot I guys living life.
Speaker 9 (40:55):
One down here in Huntington Beach and I didn't see it,
and tell it passed more to the north and then
it disappeared pretty quick. I hadn't seen it several times
when I was living in Columbia a few years ago
and we were pretty close to the equator and every
(41:15):
once in a while we would see it.
Speaker 10 (41:20):
Hey you guys, Oh wow, thanks so much for that
heads up.
Speaker 7 (41:24):
That was outstanding. I love it from all those feels.
Speaker 4 (41:28):
