Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's KMF.
Speaker 2 (00:00):
I am six forty and you're listening to the Conway
Show on demand on the iHeartRadio app. Yes, time for
the five O five News Whip. We tell you stories
that are maybe a smaller in size, maybe not as important,
but still very interesting. And everybody gets a shot here.
(00:24):
And I know what Steph Fush is gonna be. He's
got a great one, great one he's working on. Let's
save him for last though, Crozer, what's going on out there,
Bob Well.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
The horror movie Sinners starring Michael B. Jordan debut at
number one of the box office of the weekend. But
it's the deal that the director and writer Ryan Coogler
cut with Warner Brothers that some say could be the
beginning of the end of the Hollywood studio system. Ooh,
he's got a Coogler wrote and directed that this flick, Sinners,
But he's also was behind A Black Panther and creed
a bunch of other movies. He's got ownership of Sinners
(00:53):
after twenty five years after its release, so he'll get
that was part of the deal that Warner Brothers agreed to.
They get a him ownership of this movie. Sinners that's huge.
So the lifetime long term value of films that are
used for pay per view, you know, airing on different channels,
all the money that they make after the initial release,
all usually is what makes a studio a studio.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
It's continuous money coming in.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
Coogler's only made five films, but he's already one of
the top fifty highest grossing directors of all time. He
says that centers deal where he gets ownership for after
twenty five years, it was only for his for personal reasons,
and he says he won't look for ownership of any
future stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
The other studios hate this. Yeah, they're they're they're all
scared right now.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
Yeah, he's gonna If this sets the precedents, you're gonna
see a lot of jobs vanish.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
Yeah, you're gonna see the studios go away.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yeah, because that's how the studio survives. Yeah, that's crazy. Wow,
what a huge deal. I wonder why they said yes
to that.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
I think because either they just didn't they they figured
they could sacrifice one. And he is a huge money
his movies had made. The five movies that he's directed
at least have made two to three billion dollars at
least man man only five movies he's made.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
It's like opening up a bank account. Then after twenty
five years they just you own the bank. Yeah right, crazy,
all right, Bellio, Happy pre birthday.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
What's going on in the world.
Speaker 4 (02:12):
Well, as you know, with my birthday tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (02:14):
LA Metro has released the opening date for its massive
transit hub near lax. The Lax Metro Transit Transit Center,
located at ninety sixth Street and Airport Boulevard in Westchester,
will officially open to the public on June sixth, and
when opened, the new station, the largest in Metro's network,
will be located along the K and C lines, and
(02:35):
we'll have a light rail station, a bus plaza, a
bike share and bike parking, as well as well as
other amenities. It will also provide direct connection to Lax
via the LA's World Airport Automated people Mover, which is
I think it's scheduled to open next year early next year.
Speaker 4 (02:52):
They've had a series of delays, as you know.
Speaker 5 (02:55):
In the meantime, an Lax Bus shuttle will service the
area at the station there, so cool.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
I think that's a great idea.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
And guess what what it opens on Angel's birthday. That
does right, Yes, Oh my gosh, June six, right.
Speaker 4 (03:16):
That's right, so excited. I know what I'm doing.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
Yes, you're going to the bus.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
I'm going to the bus yallop sending my measurements to
lax home.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
Angel. What's happening out there?
Speaker 6 (03:33):
Well, with Bellio's birthday on fast approach, it's tomorrow. In
case nobody knew, you know, the heavens will be smiling
down on Bellio and you can see it for yourself.
Tomorrow morning at five thirty is the best time to
see it. It's a little smiley face. You're going to
(03:55):
have a crescent moon, You're going to have Saturn and Venus,
and you gotta get a glen of it super early
in the morning before the sun comes up, and celebrate
Bellio's birthday in style.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
That would be nice.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
Enjoy everyone, Yeah, enjoy. Thank you Belly for having a
birthday to morning.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Yeah, that is very nice of you. This is the
best of NewsWhip.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
I guess oh, they'll never know.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
We'll just I'll slide this by.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Yeah, crap I did on Monday. They'll never know.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
Forgot.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
That's right, okay, all right, best of NewsWhip. What's going
on out there stuff. Well, you and I both love
Jack in the Box. Oh yeah, but apparently Jack in
the Box is about to close one hundred and fifty locations.
The hell not really a fun news story. Between eighty
(05:03):
and one hundred and twenty Jack in the Box restaurants
will close by the end of this year's horrible Yeah,
the company will close as many as two hundred storefronts
in total, the majority of which have been in operation
for more than thirty years. On the plus side, Taco
Bell brought back the chicken nuggets. Yes, that is great news.
(05:25):
You know, I know where the best Jack in the
Boxes are. I know there's one on Pacific and Glendale,
right next to the one thirty four freeways. And I
judge Jack in the Boxes by how hot their tacos
are when I get them. So the one on Pacific
near the one thirty four, I'll drive by two Jack
in the Boxes to get to that one because I
(05:46):
like the tacos hot. And there's another one on Fallbrook
and Victory. There's another one that's always hot. And by
the way, for people that own and run Dell Taco, here's.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
A tip for you. The fries have cooled off in
the last couple of years.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
Well, you know who owns and operates Del Taco, Yeah,
Jack in the Box.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Yeah yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
The key to the key, the key to fast food
is heat, period. Has nothing to do with taste or size.
It's how hot your burger and fries are when you
get them and put them in your mouth. And the
hot tacos and hot fries. Del Taco was always known
(06:31):
to have the hottest fries in LA That's what everyone says.
I say it as well. You go to Deltalk, you
order fries, you know they're going to be hot, and
for some reason last couple of years they've cooled off
a little. I don't get it. Wendy's always has hot fries.
Wendy Wendy's always has the chili is extremely hot, exactly
why I like it, not in flavor, but in temperature.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
And man, is that good? Oh? The best those Wendy's
chili and Chilian fries.
Speaker 4 (06:59):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Or the baked potato. Nobody's copied that. It's a simple item,
a baked potato wrapped in foil. You can get that
at Wendy's. It's always delicious, it's always cool. I love it,
all right, we have got to take a break. Wango
Tango is May tenth. We've got a lot of people going.
We're gonna see a striker and booker are going. But
I know that Krozier. I know your family's going. But
(07:22):

Speaker 1 (07:24):
We'll see, Okay, I can twin it.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
I think I might go. What the hell I'd like
to see that Doja Cat? I really like that woman,
Gwen Stefani. I like her, Meghan Trainer, I love her.
David Ghetta, I like him. Yes, I love that cats
Eye n Mix, psichers A two O May Hearts to Hearts, Heights,

Speaker 4 (08:06):
Yeah, you have to.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
What are you gonna drink? You're gonna bring a box
of wine?
Speaker 4 (08:10):
Yeah, I'll probably bring my boxes. Yeah, they allow them.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
What's your favorite year in the Not in the wine,
but in the box, uh.
Speaker 5 (08:20):
The box probably February.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
Is that right?
Speaker 2 (10:02):
It is grand gr an d correct this time? Okay,
you're going in a thousand bucks. The financial situation that
the City of Los Angeles in is reported to be
a complete mess, A complete mess.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
What do we do about it?
Speaker 8 (10:19):
One of the reasons why the city is in such
a financial mess right now is because we are seeing
every single year the city's paying out more and more
money because it's being hit with more and more lawsuits.
So let's start right here. In fiscal year twenty twenty two,
we can see the city had a dish out more
than ninety one million dollars, again, all because of lawsuits
being hit against the city.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
Okay, ninety one million dollars in lawsuits three years ago.
Speaker 8 (10:43):
Next year went up to one hundred and sixty six
million in fiscal year twenty twenty four. It really serves
up to two hundred and forty seven million dollars. Again,
these are your tax dollars.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
That's two hundred and forty seven million dollars that the
cops can't use fire education, street cleaning, lights, improvements, water,
all that stuff. Two hundred and forty seven million dollars
went out the door because of lawsuits.
Speaker 8 (11:10):
Today we did sit down with the LA controller. He
is the financial watchdog for the city. He told us,
based on his projections, he thinks for the current fiscal year,
the city is going to be dishing out three hundred
million dollars because of these lawsuits.
Speaker 9 (11:24):
Right, that keeps taking away because we just can't generate
money like the federal government.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
We rely on every dollar.
Speaker 9 (11:30):
And so if we spend half a billion dollars on
lawsuits and literally two years, that money is going to
take away from the city to spend on other you know,
basic city services and keep people employed.
Speaker 8 (11:42):
All right, So the controller is not kidding there the
seven on your side investigation.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
I don't think anybody thought he was right, all.
Speaker 8 (11:47):
Right, So the controller is not kidding there.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
He is not kidding, is not kidding there now he's not.
I don't know if you're heard in his voice, he
is is not kidding there.
Speaker 8 (11:55):
The seven on your Side investigates team took all the
civil payout data and we isolated every single civil payout
from the beginning of twenty twenty three through the end
of twenty twenty four, and sure enough, it adds up
to five hundred and forty six million. So we're right
near that half billion dollar market.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
Okay, half a billion dollars going out to lawsuits and
the city is a billion dollars in the red. I
don't know where. I don't know how, I don't know what.
I don't know what we do, how we get out
of it, or where we go.
Speaker 8 (12:25):
So we can can see about half that money went
to payouts because of lawsuits against the LAPD. If we
even go down further, we can see seventy four point
eight million went out to payouts because of lawsuits against
the Bureau of Street Services.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Well, because La City doesn't fight these things, they should
fight these lawsuits, they just write these big fat checks
to people.
Speaker 8 (12:45):
So let's say, for example, you get your car banged
up because the city street's not well maintained.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
That all falls under this category. That's followed by the Bureau.
Speaker 8 (12:53):
Of Sanitation, which had to pay out seventy four point
three million all because of lawsuits. So, because the LAPD
takes up such a big chunk of this, we can
even do a deeper dive right here, using current data
from the LA Controller's office. We can see so far
for this current fiscal year, about half of the money
that the LAPD paid out in lawsuits had to do
with allegations of excessive or abuse of force.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
Right because they don't the LA City has to fight
these lawsuits and they're not. They're not fighting these lawsuits.
And that's what that's what happens. At the end of
the day, all right, if you get bit by a mosquito,
this is gonna be the worst mosquito season we've had,
perhaps in I'm gonna make up a number here forty years.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
There you go.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
Because we have a lot of pools that are sitting
without any attention because the home was burned down, and
that pool can generate three million mosquitos. So let's say
there's a thousand pools, three million times a thousand, I
believe is three billion mosquitos, and additional mosquitoes buzzing around,
(14:03):
biting you and you've got to do. You've got to
make sure that you protect your family. And when we
come back, I'm going to tell you how to do that.
All right, We're going to tell you exactly what to
do on how to defend yourself and how to protect
yourself from these mosquitoes because that could be it's gonna
be the worst season ever.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
Absolutely.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
I mean, even though we're still in an ice age,
it's going to be warm this summer and you've got
to be aware of them.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
What's that? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (14:34):
No, we are in an ice age. Yeah, we'll just ask.
Take out your cell phone?
Speaker 1 (14:41):
What do you have? Siri? Is that? Is that what
people have? Mostly that's on Apple? Yeah? Okay, so if
you ask s I R I.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
I don't want to say it because people's phones will
flip out and you ask, are we in an ice age?
Speaker 1 (14:56):
Are we in an ice age? Yeah? See what comes up?
Are we in an ice age? Oh? I have something playing?
Speaker 3 (15:05):
I can't you know why? Mine just said you'll be
fifty six tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
What that means?
Speaker 6 (15:11):
My fourth grade science teacher was telling us that we
are headed to an ice age.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
Oh no, I gotta get it.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
I gotta get gotta go to Burlington, tonight, get a coat,
but let me see, let me look on mine. Here
are we in an ice age?
Speaker 3 (15:27):
Oh my god, yes, the world is currently still in
an ice age. I didn't know that the quaternary glaciation
is what we're in.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
Apparently no way.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
All right, well we're in an ice age. Doesn't feel
like it. I'm gonna see wally mammoths walking around.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
Started two point five eight million years ago, ongoing since.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
Well, it's a long one for as long as I
don't know if it's a longer ice age or a
shorter ice age, but man, this is a beauty. This
is a long ice age. So we're in an ice age.
So next time somebody says, hey, what about global warming?
Go I love talking about it, but we're a nice age.
Speaker 1 (16:00):
Sorry. All right, we're live on KFI AM six forty.
Come back.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
I'll tell you how to prevent or not prevent, but yeah,
how to prevent bug bites and how to treat them
once you get them.
Speaker 7 (16:09):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
AM six forty.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
Well, all right, this is a mosquito season. We're coming
up on it. I think it's still going to be
too cold over the next couple of nights. But once
the it warms up, these mosquitos are going to get
wild crazy. So it's not going to happen tonight or
tomorrow in the San Fernando Valley. It's going down to
fifty one degrees tonight, Saturday forty nine, Sunday forty eight
(16:40):
in the San Fernando Valley late April forty eight degrees
in the San Fernando Valley. You what the high is
in the San Fernando Valley is going to be on
May twenty six, May twenty six, twenty twenty five, The
high on Saturday in the San Fernando Valley will be
fifty seven degrees fifty seven, maybe fifty eight if you
(17:06):
live in the warmer part of the valley. Fifty eight degrees.
Fifty seven degrees is the high. That's the high temperature
for the San Fernando Valley on Saturday.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
Do you do you hear me? People you live in
the valley, do you hear me?
Speaker 2 (17:27):
The high temperature the day after tomorrow in the San
Fernando Valley is fifty seven or fifty eight degrees. That's
the high temperature. And you know what that sucks for
the plant. The flowers, spring is sprung the grasses, Riz,
tell me where the flowers is.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
I gotta work on that, but you get it.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
There is. We're in spring, and it's going to be
forty seven degrees on Saturday night. Seven degrees high of
fifty seven, maybe fifty eight in the San Fernando Valley.
All right, let's cruise around here, because that means it's
gonna be cold everywhere the Sunday. The low in Big
Bear on Sunday twenty eight degrees. That means it's going
(18:15):
to kill all the flowers that are out, or a
lot of them. You're gonna be wiped out, wiped out Lancaster.
You need a big audience that lives out in Lancaster.
The station does forty two on Saturday is the low.
Fifty six is the high with a forty percent chance
of rain. All right, let's slide down to let's go
(18:36):
out to the beach, shall we. Forty nine is the
low on Saturday. Fifty nine is the high along the
coast with a sixty percent chance of rain. That's freezing,
absolutely freezing, and so if you live in southern California,
it is going to be freezing this weekend, absolutely freezing.
(18:59):
Let's check out where bellio, Bellio, Where do you live in?
Laguna Hills?
Speaker 4 (19:04):
Yes, Laguna Hills?
Speaker 1 (19:05):
All right? Irvine, Irvine, California. All right, you're ready for this.
Speaker 4 (19:11):
Ready?
Speaker 2 (19:12):
The day after your birthday? The low on Saturdays forty
nine degrees the highest sixty two. That's sweater weather.
Speaker 4 (19:19):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
Sixty two, love it. And on your birthday fifty three
is the low. Sixty three is the high.
Speaker 4 (19:27):
What a nice gift.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
That's a great gift. Yeah, sometimes it's hotter than hell.
Not this year, So you're in luck. You got a
lot of a lot of celebrating to do tomorrow. All right,
bug bites, what can you do about them? Because they're coming.
They're definitely coming, and you are going to get wiped
out potentially.
Speaker 10 (19:45):
NBC News medical contributor doctor John Torres is here to
prepare us for the outdoors, Doctor John, Welcome back, sir.
Speaker 8 (19:51):
So.
Speaker 3 (19:52):
I mean, let's talk about mosquitoes and ticks and o
those other pesty bugs.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
What can we do?
Speaker 11 (19:57):
You know, because of all the kids around me, start
off with a dad joke, what's the best smelling bug
out there? I don't know how does deodor anto.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
Well, well at the top of that's actually a pretty
good one, right, I don't know how does deodur ant
the deodor ant.
Speaker 11 (20:12):
Well the top About bugs in particular, we want to
make sure there's a few things we do to get
rid of bugs in general. Number One, mosquitoes. They can
be in the smallest amount of water. Even a bottle
cap worth of water can breed mosquitos. You want to
be careful any heavily wooded or grassed areas because ticks
like tall grass do they to crawl up things, So
just either mow it down or trim it back somehow.
Maybe get pest control out there to help you with
(20:33):
getting pests out of your lawn because the kids and
the pets will be playing out there.
Speaker 2 (20:36):
This guy's from Chicago, this doctor, I can tell by
his accent.
Speaker 11 (20:40):
Maybe get pest control out there to help you with
getting pests out of your lawn because the kids and
the pets will be playing out there. And then install
screens on the windows because that will keep the bugs
from coming in. And you're gonna watch some of the
air and go through as well.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
Who doesn't have screens on their windows? Is there anybody
that's still doing that. It's you know, that's free balling
it with the windows, raw dog in it with the windows.
Speaker 11 (21:02):
And then install screens on the windows because that will
keep the bugs from coming in. And you're gonna watch
some of the air and go through as well.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
Yeah, I write that down. Screens keep bugs out.
Speaker 11 (21:11):
Electric fans a big key, because the flying bugs really
can't stand electric fans. Even ceiling fans can really help there.
And so doing these things can help get rid of
bugs in general.
Speaker 1 (21:19):
Okay, but now what happens if you get bitten?
Speaker 11 (21:22):
Okay, so let's say you tried your best to get
rid of bugs, but you still get bit or you
get a rash.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
How do you know if it's something you should be
concerned about?
Speaker 1 (21:28):
Okay, that's a great question. Bug bites you, Now, what
do you do?
Speaker 11 (21:32):
First and foremost, you want to remove the stinger or
the bug. If it's a tick, you want to remove
it appropriately. Get tweezers. Don't squeeze the belly, just get
the tweezers down by the skin and gently pull it out.
When you get the tick, you either want to flush
it down a toilet, put it in some alcohol.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
So it's burn it.
Speaker 11 (21:47):
That doesn't work as well as you. Yeah, it's this
one thing, burning it, putting oil on it. Those things
don't work that well. Just gently pull it out.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
If anyone had a tick, crowsy, have you ever had ticks?
I can't hear you. What is that a your mic?
So remember I've got them when I was a kid. Yeah, Angel,
you've had ticks?
Speaker 6 (22:09):
Yeah? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (22:10):
Are they small? How big are they? Like the size
of an ant or be?
Speaker 6 (22:14):
They're about maybe two maybe a centimeter wide, maybe two
centimeters wide. And at first when they they h jump
onto you, they're flat. But then after they embed their head,
then they start filling up with your blood and they
get rather, you know.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
And I heard you have to unscrew them. You have
to like turn them to get them out of your skin.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
Is that true? You got to make sure you don't
just grab him and pole in. Oh really, I just.
Speaker 4 (22:44):
Grab them in pole and I don't have lime to seae.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
So I'm all right, Angel of you. I mean, I'm sorry, Belly.
I'll get you guys confused, belly of your head?
Speaker 11 (22:51):
Ticks?
Speaker 1 (22:52):
I have not no, And you lived in Denver. It's
a lot of ticks in Denver.
Speaker 4 (22:56):
Not really no, no.
Speaker 2 (22:58):
I heard they're huge tips in Denver, big like a big,
like a lot of them, like a big you.
Speaker 4 (23:05):
Know, maybe deeper into the mountains, but not where I live.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
Oh you're you're city folk.
Speaker 4 (23:11):
Well not really, we're in the uh the outskirts.
Speaker 1 (23:15):
Yeah. I lived in southern Maryland. I got a lot
of ticks all the time.
Speaker 3 (23:18):
My dad took me to get my hair cut once
and and the girl cut my hair found a tick
in my head. It was the most You didn't know,
I had no idea.
Speaker 4 (23:26):
They don't sure still.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
Something, don't you don't.
Speaker 3 (23:31):
I used to take care of my neighbors dogs and
they would get ticks all the time, and they would
eat them off of each other's back.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
The pop because they'd be full of blows. The most
disgusting thing. Ticks are just wild. You need to get
a dog to do your hair.
Speaker 6 (23:46):
After living in Utah for as long as I did,
I never had one tick there, And I was always
really concerned because of you know, the rocky mountains to
spend so much time there. It wasn't until I came
back to California and when I until I had got
a tick.
Speaker 11 (24:02):
Oh man, I'm afraid of these ticks, put it in
an alcohol, flush it down the toilet, or put it
in a zip lock bag. You can always take it
to your doctor and they can help you identify what
kind of ticket is and whether you need to be
worried about diseases. Then you want to wash the area
with warm soap and water. If it's a sting, you
want to scrape out the stinger because if you pinch it,
you might get more venom in your body. Apply cold
crime compresses to make sure the swelling goes down, and
(24:24):
then just try to use over the counter medications calamine lotion, anahistamines,
hydro quarter zone. Those can help with the swelling and
the itching as well.
Speaker 10 (24:31):
So you're going to go out for a hike, walk
something like this, what are you gonna do? How are
you gonna protect you and your family?
Speaker 11 (24:36):
So the best thing to do is wear appropriate clothing.
It's warm outside. We all want short sleeves and shorts,
but bugs love that because they can get on your skin.
So having those light cut those light linen pants, or
you know the dry fit tight pants and shirts. Make
sure they are long sleeves, their long pants. But what
kind of pants dry fit tight pants.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
And dry fit tight pants like tight pants.
Speaker 11 (24:56):
Crow.
Speaker 5 (24:56):
Oh yeah, everybuddy's talking about your type pants.
Speaker 1 (25:02):
I thought that was short shorts. He wears short shorts.
She wears short shorts. Wear short shorts.
Speaker 4 (25:10):
There for short.
Speaker 11 (25:11):
Shirts, dry fit type pants and people under fifty, you're like,
what dry fit tight pants and shirts. Make sure they're
long sleeves their long pants. It looks goofy, but if
you're really going into the heavy area, tuck your pants
inside your socks. That can help. Use epa registered repellent
for bug both mosquitoes, ticks, all sorts of bugs.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
Don't forget the baby.
Speaker 11 (25:29):
You want to cover the baby stroller with a mosquito
type netting because there's been constant times where babies get
bit a lot, because we kind of forget about that.
And then avoid the heavily wooded areas in the grassy area.
Stay on the trail.
Speaker 10 (25:40):
Hey, doctor, gown really quickly with the repellents. Should you
replace them each year or if you've got it from
the year before as.
Speaker 11 (25:46):
It stay should have an expiration on there. You know,
look at the expiration. But if you can't find it
or for some reason you don't know, it rubbed off
and replaced it every year.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
Doctor John. Once you's done for the day, you spend
some time outside. You ready to go inside. What should
you be able to look out for?
Speaker 11 (25:58):
So first and almost just check yourself for bugs, and
that means checking you, the kids, the pets in particular,
because pets can bring in ticks. They can get on
the couch. The tick can get on the couch and
then get on you layer, and be careful with them.
Thorough body checks. That's every part of the body. Tell
your kiss to check them. If they're smaller, go ahead
and check them for yourself.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Yeah, check it out. Man, that sucks. Ticks are horrible,
all right?
Speaker 2 (26:18):
Really only one in town with Todd Pats I got,
I got Wow, alright, that's cool, right.
Speaker 1 (26:28):

This afternoon, four to seven pm on a six forty.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
And it only happens in the kitchen. You don't have
a spot in the living room or the bathroom or
the bedroom. It's just the kitchen.
Speaker 4 (27:24):
Yeah, it's just the kitchen.

Speaker 5 (27:50):
The Travis Hunter from CU went number two to the
Jaguars Jacksonville?
Speaker 4 (27:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (28:00):
Is he is? He number? Wait? He went number one?
Speaker 4 (28:02):
He went number two?
Speaker 1 (28:03):
Who was number who went number two?
Speaker 10 (28:08):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (28:08):
Travis? Travis Hunter went number two, who went number.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
Oh my, is that a Shack? I thought Shack went
number two?
Speaker 6 (28:22):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (28:24):
People like, is this honey? Is this KF I kfr?
Speaker 6 (28:34):
Oh my gosh. I was recording a report for iHeart
Los Angeles and I just totally cracked up when I
heard that. I'm like, no, no.
Speaker 2 (28:47):
Okay, you know some guys said that to his wife
while they're driving around.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
Yeah, yeah, that is sweetie. Is here? We are changed,
it's a different era, different era.
Speaker 4 (29:19):
Cam Ward went number one, so he.
Speaker 1 (29:22):
Did where he go with Tennessee? Yeah? Oh he did.
Oh Tennessee will improve then Ryan quarterback? Yeah.
Speaker 3 (29:30):
Cleveland and Jacksonville traded their their second and fifth picks,
and that's why Jacksonville ended up with a number two
pick in Travis who can play both ways, offense and defense.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
And and I heard he said he wants to Oh yeah, yeah,
he's demanding it. Yeah yeah yeah.
Speaker 3 (29:44):
And the biggest I guess bombshell right now is that
the Raiders at number six took the running back of Ashton.
I guess Johnty. I guess is his last name?
Speaker 1 (29:52):
Okay, where's he from? Uh Ohio State?
Speaker 11 (29:56):
No?
Speaker 1 (29:56):
He played?
Speaker 2 (29:58):
Yeah, that's cool there's two. They say they're at the
draft is in green Bay, Yes, all right, it's in
green Bay, Wisconsin. They said there's two hundred and fifty
thousand people there.
Speaker 3 (30:08):
Yeah, and the population of that town is only like
one hundred and nine thousand.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
Wow, that's crazy that, that's unbelievable. You know, green Bay
is the size of Burbank. Burbank is one hundred and
five and Green Bay has like one hundred and nine thousand,
So give or take a couple of gram green Bay,
Wisconsin is the size of Burbank, California. And yet they
(30:32):
have their own NFL team the size of Burbank. That's
not interesting to anybody. That's not an unusual there's no
reaction to that.
Speaker 4 (30:41):
Yeah, why is that?
Speaker 1 (30:42):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
I'm angry They've had it for for I think since
the beginning of the NFL. You know, that tiny little
town has their own NFL team, And what does the
what does the San Fernando Valley have?
Speaker 1 (30:53):
Nothing?
Speaker 9 (30:54):
Well?
Speaker 5 (30:54):
Is it because there just wasn't an interest in Uh,
I don't know attending where. You know, obviously green Bay
has huge NFL.
Speaker 1 (31:03):
Fans, that's right, But I don't know how that happen
worth it?
Speaker 2 (31:06):
I guess it was. I guess it was. All right,
we have we'll come back and talk about this. Seven
eleven is getting robbed again. It's not good because that's
that's got a stink of desperation attached to it, whereas
they say in Italy desperats. And when you start robbing
seven elevens, we're getting pretty close to the end.
Speaker 1 (31:29):
Because what are you getting?
Speaker 2 (31:30):
Those hot dogs that roll around for a couple hours,
bag of chips and a slurping What do they have
at seven eleven? It takes you twenty minutes to get
changed there. When you pay with the twenty at seven eleven,
it's almost like paying with a bar of gold. You know,
they don't what to do with it, like, oh, you
have anything smaller? Well, I'm buying nineteen dollars for the stuff.
I think I got pretty close. Yeah, do you have
(31:53):
like twenty ones on you?
Speaker 1 (31:55):
No? I don't.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
I'm not carrying twenty ones with me. Ah well, I
gotta put it in the computer here in the safe.
It'll take twenty minutes to get change.
Speaker 1 (32:03):
Alright, alright, how'd he do?
Speaker 7 (32:06):
All right?
Speaker 1 (32:07):
