A 3.5 magnitude earthquake shook Rialto just after 5pm, and if that wasn’t enough, beachgoers in Santa Monica spotted a massive 15-foot great white shark dangerously close to shore. Meanwhile, ESPN is making waves of its own—acquiring NFL Network and RedZone in a major media deal that gives the NFL a 10% stake in the sports giant.

about that. You live north of Mahall and in south

Oak Stars, Anna willand Hills the whole Run, and or
in Sino as well, especially in Sino. You've been worried
for the last couple of months because people have been
breaking into homes every single night, every night, and you

(00:43):
think you're next. And every time you hear something in
the yard, you know, could just be a coyote, It
could be a cat, could be a dog, could be
a rat, whatever it is, but you hear something in
the yard and you flip out like you're gonna be
next and they're gonna come in and wipe you out
and your family. Well, they caught two of the four
people that were part of a burglar Ring, burglar Ring.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
So that's a good deal. So I don't forget the cruise.

If you're interested in the Yes, ma'am, what are you
gonna wear? You know, I don't know. I'm thinking about
wearing something tight.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Though, you know, oh nice, Okay, yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Something you know I'm not not a not a tank top,
but somewhere in that area, you know. But I've told
you before, Angel I don't know what the age is,
but I'm sure I'm north of it. And I don't
know what. Maybe it's different for men or women, and
and I don't want to offend anybody, but I don't

(02:28):
know when what the age is where a woman can't
rock a tube top anymore? I think I'm there with
the tank top. I don't think I can rock a
tank top anymore.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Do you think that? You think? Bellio? Can you rock
a tube top? And how many is she?

Speaker 4 (02:46):
There?

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Is she in the bad She in the can? Yeah,
she's in the can, She's in the can.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Man, Yeah, you could rock a tube top? How many
tube tops do you own?

Speaker 5 (02:55):
At least ten?

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Wow? Whoa wow? Oh? Sorry? Too big? Too big? All right, sorry,
I'll try to get wow. Still too big?

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Maybe I guess well, you have ten tube tops?

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Yeah? Holy smokes? Would have said, like zero? How many
do you have?

Speaker 6 (03:21):
Well? Where do you?

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Where do you wear them? You know? Gardening?

Speaker 5 (03:26):
Yes, gardening, bike rides.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Bike rides, jumping jack competitions.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Yeah, it's John and Belly a matching tube tops.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
How'd he get looped into this?

Speaker 2 (03:43):
He gets looped into everything? Angel? Do you have tube tops?
You own tube tops?

Speaker 5 (03:49):
I own.

Speaker 7 (03:51):
One tube top?

Speaker 2 (03:52):
You do frame somewhere in a long time.

Speaker 8 (03:56):
Yes, it is framed. That's that's why there's only one.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
It's a shadow box.

Speaker 9 (04:03):
It is nice and matted with the concert ticket, that's right.

Speaker 8 (04:07):
Yeah, when I last wore it.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
It's still the stains from the under arms.

Speaker 8 (04:12):
Oh gross.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
You know what concerts you sweat? You know, you get
crazy at concerts if you do it right.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
That's right. You got to a concert. You don't sweat,
you're not doing it right.

Speaker 10 (04:20):
Right, So if you don't come back with armpit stains,
you're just not having a good time.

Speaker 5 (04:24):
Is that what you're saying.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
You're halfway there. If you're wearing a tub top, get
into it.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
What concert did you tube top too?

Speaker 6 (04:31):
Z top?

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Oh that's great?

Speaker 1 (04:37):
All right? There was an earthquake, all right, we gotta
get serious now. People could have got wiped out here
a three point five earthquake right near the two ten
and the fifteen. The two ten north of two ten
east the fifteen west of the two fifteen. God, I
know my geography in this town. I should be hired
just as a guy that can point out different areas

(04:58):
of the city.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
I think I'd be go to that, all right, earthquake?
It happened. When did it happen? Bellly? Moments ago? Hours ago,
moments ago?

Speaker 11 (05:06):
All right, all right, you might have felt this a
three point five earthquake out of Rialtos to.

Speaker 6 (05:11):
Be us here and ound with more on that.

Speaker 12 (05:14):
I just looked it up.

Speaker 6 (05:14):
On the USGS as well. It seemed to be a
shallow quake.

Speaker 11 (05:18):
It's a shallow quake, and it's considered to be a
minor quake. And here across the US we average about
forty nine thousand per year, so it tells you how
small this is in comparison to some we've seen. And
of course we were all tracking that earthquake in Russia.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Are we going to get another tsunami out of this?
Or is it too far inland? Probably too far inland?
All right, firs tsunami. I'm flipped out about the tsunami.
I don't know, you know, just somebody, and I need
somebody to tell me in my ear I'm okay, bellyo
am all right, yeah, okay, all right.

Speaker 13 (05:46):
Jallas Jensen went to Hawaii and he landed hours before
that earthquake hit.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Oh really, he was right.

Speaker 13 (05:52):
There on that beach when this tsunami was supposed to
commit he said, there were so many people that were
around walking there.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Dug, that's a bad move. Yeah, that's a bad move.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Because again, if that tsunami that hit Russia, if that
came towards Hawaii, would wipe out all the coastal towns,
all of them.

Speaker 11 (06:09):
That was a major quake at eight point eight, and
that did trigger that tsunami advisory here in southern California.
But yes, we are tracking this earthquake. It's just about
three miles to the north and west of rialto a
three point five magnitude quake. Just some minor shaking, and
of course, with the quake of this magnitude, you're more
than likely not going to have a lot of damage.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Yeah, that's right, she's on top of it. Three point five.
You're not going to see a lot of hotels slide down,
you know, dam's break, people flip over in their cars.
She's right, she's right, three point five. You're not going
to see tremendous damage.

Speaker 11 (06:42):
Quake, just some minor shaking, and of course, with the
quake of this magnitude.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Three point five, she's right, she's right.

Speaker 11 (06:47):
You're more than likely not going to have a lot
of damage.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
I think you can go more than likely. I think
you can go extremely unlikely.

Speaker 11 (06:55):
You're more than likely not going to have a lot
of damage as results of this. But of course we'll
keeping up to date on what's going on in terms
of that quake there in San Bornardino Riverside Counties.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
All right, but if you felt.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
That, you want people to talk about it so you
don't feel like you're crazy. You know, the house shakes
and you're like, Oh, it's just me or is it
my cholesterol? Is it my heart palpitations? Is it my
dizziness that's gotten me? Am I allergic to my new cat?
You know, you want people to talk about the earthquake
you were just in, so you know it feel crazy.
You know, you don't feel like you're alone, you know,

(07:27):
like you're scared to death on your own. I'm with you.
I'm with you in this earthquake. So it happened a
little very close to Rialto. I don't know where Rialto is,
but it's near the two ten and they're fifteen evidently,
and that's where the quakes play. Ironically, is that where
they play baseball out there? Yes, the quakes.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
Have you been to one of the if you're been
to one of those games.

Speaker 13 (07:49):
Not a Quakes game. No, I've been to the minor
league hockey games in Ontario, Rain.

Speaker 7 (07:53):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
Yes, they're like two blocks away or whatever.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
I'd love to do. You've been to that, Yes, I'd
love to go to that.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
They're fantastic.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Yeah, you get right up close.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
You do, man, and they hear me?

Speaker 2 (08:02):
How was that right?

Speaker 13 (08:04):
Any sporting event? I got to pick a name that's
what I chant and not scream it. You're on that guy,
get the whole section in it with me. Just pick
a random guy.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
That's awesome. Oh I'd like to go. Not with you,
but I'd like to go.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Yeah, loud, loud, loudest man in the world, not with you.

Speaker 12 (08:25):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from kf
I Am six forty.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
It is The Conway Show.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
All right, don't forget tomorrow we have our big cruise
zoom call. So if you want to get involved. You're
thinking about going on the cruise, but you got some questions.
You know, how drunk I'm going to get, you know,
will I fight people? Probably not? But you have some
questions and you want to get on that zoom call.

(08:54):
Go to Conwaycruise dot Com. That zoom call is seven
pm tomorrow, So jump on if you're you know, you're
just sort of like one percent in or zero percent,
I don't know, jump on the cruise on the zoom
call and that'll be fun, be an opportunity to you know,
bust each other's chops. That's Conwaycruise dot Com. And then

(09:17):
click down to the zoom call. It says, we go
back to where it was here.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
It is all right, oh here it is. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
You go to Conwaycruise dot Com and then you scroll
down about a page and a half and it says
rs VP today, click.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
On that boom and you're ready to roll, ready to go.

Speaker 12 (09:43):
All right.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
The burglar Ring burglar Ring has been busted up and
in c now that that was a great story. We've
also had the earthquake three point five earthquake near Rialto.
That's also a big story. The air quality because of
the fires that are everywhere. And and the great white
shark that has been spotted around Santa Monica. Peer, let's

(10:05):
see if this guy's moved on and we can get
back into the ocean.

Speaker 10 (10:08):
We don't often see a great white shark of this size,
so close to shore where people.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
Are fifteen feet Most cars are not fifteen feet. This
shark is fifteen feet.

Speaker 10 (10:22):
So close to shore where people are still talking about
this one that was spotted near the Santa Monica peer
and they're asking a whole lot of questions. NBC Forst
Carmer Dickerson spent the day and long week getting some
answers right from the experts.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
How many questions can you be asking? I mean, seriously,
you know, yes, ma'am. What's your question? Should we stay
out of the water?

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Yes, any other questions? This young man and they it
looks like a tank top, but it's not. Maybe a
what do you call that Indian cotton shirt? Okay, yes, sir?
Should we stay out of the water? Yes, yeah, stay
out of the water. This older gentlemen with a cardigan,
sweater and a pipe.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
You got a question? Should we swim? No? No, no, no, no, no,
stay out of the water. Anybody else?

Speaker 1 (11:08):
That's the only question you can have. What other questions
you have? How many teeth does he have? Where does
he shop? Does he live in palms? Have we seen
him before? Has he ever been to Alaska? I mean,
what other questions can you possibly have.

Speaker 8 (11:24):
I am in the sea at Fortees, so we're about
to dive off of this rock here, and you know
there's some.

Speaker 14 (11:30):
Reef sharks and white dick reef sharts and well sharts.

Speaker 7 (11:34):
Unlike many of us, Carlos Gowno goes two sharks on purpose.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
All right, well, let's look at his life insurance policies.
Has anyone picked that up?

Speaker 6 (11:44):
No?

Speaker 2 (11:44):
No, nobody. Yeah, all the companies said no.

Speaker 7 (11:47):
He's a filmmaker, and today he's on assignment in Mexico.
But last week a sharky spotted much closer to home
captured national attention.

Speaker 8 (11:55):
This one was big. It came out of nowhere.

Speaker 7 (11:58):
Carlos without the film juvenile sharks, which are common off
this Sanamona.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
By the way, that's what she said, sorry, little late.

Speaker 8 (12:04):
This one was big. It came out of nowhere, That's
what she said.

Speaker 7 (12:09):
Carlos was out the film juvenile sharks, which are common
off this Santamonica coast, but he found himself.

Speaker 5 (12:14):
Looking at an adult great white shark. Oh was it big?

Speaker 8 (12:18):
This one was big.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
Yes, sounded like it was huge.

Speaker 14 (12:21):
I said, Holy cow, this this is the real deal.

Speaker 7 (12:23):
So close to the cozy points out you could see
PCH traffic in the background.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
You know, I think the FCC would allow you to
swear if you saw a fifteen footer. I don't think
you have to say holy cow. I think you can
say holy f and use the whole F word. This
one was big.

Speaker 14 (12:38):
Yeah, I said, holy cow. This this is the real deal.

Speaker 7 (12:42):
So close to the cozy points out you could see
PCH traffic in the background.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
Oh that's great. You can see PCH and the shark
at the same time.

Speaker 8 (12:50):
This one was big.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
Yeah, it's huge, fifteen feet and you can it's right
near the shore.

Speaker 8 (12:55):
It just hung out there in the Bay Win in
front of the Annenberg House and it hit its straight
to the Cinemata peer.

Speaker 7 (13:01):
When I hear adult light shark off the Santamatic peer,
I'm thinking, okay, ship, time to move right. Say here,
I'm thinking, okay, ship, time to move right.

Speaker 6 (13:14):
But I think it probably happens more often than we say.

Speaker 7 (13:16):
Doctor Chris low is the director of the shark.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
Well, that's not comforting. You know, we see a fifteen
foot shark and what does the doctor say?

Speaker 6 (13:22):
It probably happens more often than we say.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
Doctor Okay, Well, what kind of bedside matters? Does this
doctor have what's going on with this guy?

Speaker 6 (13:29):
Probably happens more often than we say.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
Do Yeah, but this was a this is a huge shark.

Speaker 8 (13:33):
This one was big, huge.

Speaker 7 (13:36):
Truck labbit cal State Long Beach.

Speaker 15 (13:37):
So it is a different ocean. There are more sharks
now and we're seeing them more often.

Speaker 7 (13:41):
And yes, they are likely hungry, but he says that's
not necessarily cause for concern.

Speaker 6 (13:46):
And number two, a lot of food is near shore.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
Yeah, like you know the boys and Girls club who
has brought the busload of kids to the beach.

Speaker 8 (13:55):
This one was big.

Speaker 6 (13:57):
And number two, a lot of food is near shore.

Speaker 15 (14:00):
So what a lot of people think is that white
shirks consider people food.

Speaker 6 (14:04):
We are not on the menu.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
Hmm, okay, we're not on the menu. We're clothes.

Speaker 13 (14:12):
Men.

Speaker 3 (14:12):
I don't know if that's better.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
I don't know if you've seen the young ladies who
have had an armor leg removed by a shark up
in Marl Bay and still surf by the way, But
we're close were We may not be on the menu,
but we're we're definitely on the buffet.

Speaker 6 (14:29):
And number two, a lot of food is near shore.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Yeah, no, we're on their minds.

Speaker 15 (14:34):
So even though an adult white shark may be cruising
off the beach, probably going to ignore.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
People, Okay, that's not good enough. Probably.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
So you're in the emergency room and the doctor goes, hey,
we warned about this, but the fifteen foot sharka goes yeah,
but they told me probably it wouldn't bite me. And
the Doc's like, okay, well you're missing your left arm
and your left leg and it's not coming back. Yeah,
but they told me probably. They gave me a yeah probably,
Then I just bought it.

Speaker 15 (15:02):
So even though an adult white shark might be cruising
off a beach, probably going to ignore people, accidents may happen,
but they're extremely rare.

Speaker 8 (15:10):
Now when we say accidents.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
When you say accidents accidents. When you say accidents, I
think of a car on the four or five, we're
ending a truck, not having your arm bitten off in
the middle of the ocean or.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
In the shallow end, willing that the shark wasn't thinking
it was an accident. That's exactly what he wanted to do.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
He wanted to taste.

Speaker 7 (15:31):
It is that that's an accident for the human.

Speaker 5 (15:33):
Because the human didn't.

Speaker 6 (15:35):
It feels like the shark was pretty intentional.

Speaker 15 (15:37):
We don't really understand why these things occur. What we
do know is if they are mistakes, they don't make
them very often.

Speaker 6 (15:43):
Considering how often they're around people.

Speaker 7 (15:46):
Doctor Low says, there's another hazard you're much more likely
to encounter at local beaches.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
All right, what's the hazard?

Speaker 8 (15:51):
This one was big?

Speaker 2 (15:53):
All right, what's the big hazard?

Speaker 15 (15:54):
Lifeguards on average treat ten thousand people with sting ray
injuries in southern California along.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
Okay, yeah, but most people don't die from stingrays.

Speaker 8 (16:03):
This one was big. It came out of nowhere.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
Yeah right, all right, we're live on KFI six forty.
We got the fires burning in southern California. We had
an earthquake three point five Realito. We covered that the
Ensino burglaries, that that little ring was either broken up
at least they've rested two people there. And then we
have the shark in Santa Monica. We are covering everything.
We're on fire today, Bellio, So I think we we

(16:27):
get an added boy for today.

Speaker 12 (16:29):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on Demayo from KFI
AM six forty.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
So we got breaking sports news that Balio just found
this is a big deal. ESPN and the NFL Network
are now going to be the same thing. ESPN acquired
the NFL Network and other NFL assets in exchange. I
think for a piece of ESPN. Let's find out the details.

(16:59):
But NFL Network and ESPN one big company.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
Now major breaking news in the sports and media world.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
It's official.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
Now ESPN is acquiring the NFL Network and other media assets.
That means the Leeds Red Zone Channel will join our
parent company, the Walt Disney's linear networks. ESPN Fantasy Football
will also combine with NFL Fantasy In exchange, the NFL
will get a ten percent equity stake in ESPN. We will,
of course continue to follow this big breaking news throughout

(17:27):
the evening.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
That's a big story. That's a big deal.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Another big story is h Mart is opening up a big,
mega supermarket h Mart.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
You know what that is? Stuffs? You know what h
Mart is? I sure do. It's a what is it? It's
Asian cuisine, that's right, Yeah, that's right. They got some
good stuff. It's the best fresh Yeah, it's really good.
They're opening up a new one.

Speaker 16 (17:50):
H Mart is opening a mega supermarket and foodthall this week.

Speaker 5 (17:54):
In Westminster.

Speaker 17 (17:55):
The new seventy thousand square foot Asian.

Speaker 5 (17:57):
Grocery store is on Beach Boulevard.

Speaker 16 (18:00):
Eleven different restaurants will be featured in the food hall,
including a French Asian bakery and that, places that serve
Korean street food.

Speaker 5 (18:09):
Japanese countsru and more.

Speaker 10 (18:11):
The official grand opening is this Thursday.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
Wow, that's a big deal, man. A lot of stories
going on, a lot of big deals. Sofi is welcoming
their ten million visitor to Sofi Stadium. Ten million people
have already gone in well ten million, I guess it's
not ten million different people. The ten millioned visitor and

(18:36):
that visitor's probably already been there before.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
And in Englewood, Sofi Stadium welcoming it's ten millionth guests.
At Shakira's concert last night, Dana Fuentes and her mom
were surprised with VIP upgrades and other gifts.

Speaker 6 (18:49):
Go that's pretty cool now.

Speaker 4 (18:50):
I Meanwhile, the stadium gearing up for night two of
Shakira's tour and SoCal. That show starts tonight at seven thirty.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
And somebody right in front of them was the nine
millionth nine hundred and ninety ninth visitor and then right
behind them was the ten millionth and they got all
the prizes and the people who are bookmarking them the
one before him and the one after nothing.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
Nothing, man, all.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
Right, staying with sports, You know, we do a lot
of sports here, great sports talk. Lakers reached a deal
with Lucas and.

Speaker 18 (19:25):
We have some breaking news in local sports. Lakers star
Luka Doncic has just announced he's signed an extension with
the team. The twenty six year old posted the news
on social media just moments ago, saying he's excited to
keep working to bring championships to LA and make Laker
Nation proud.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
Yeah, wouldn't that be great? Another championship here in La.

Speaker 18 (19:44):
ESPN says it's a three year, one hundred and sixty
five million dollars maximum contract extension with the player option.
In twenty twenty eight, the Lakers acquired Doncic from the
Mavericks for Anthony Davis six months ago in one of
the most shocking trades in pro sports history.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
Yeah, what happened to Anthony Davis? He's still playing or
he retire, But yeah, that was They call that the
most lopsided trade in the history of sports.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
How about that? Not just basketball, history of sports. Sports.

Speaker 1 (20:14):

your shoulder herds, your shoulders hurting. Then it raised its voice,
your shoulders hurting, and that yells at you, your shoulders.
And that's when you go to this hospital. I should

day around it. We get up and eat, We take
a break from work and eat, and go out to dinner.
We have late night snacks, We eat at the theater,
We eat everywhere we go. We go to the ballpark.
And the biggest stories that come out of Dodger Stadium

What's the new food at Dodger Stadium. I went to
Costco last night and the place I got there run
eight o'clock and they close at eight thirty, so I

(27:12):
dining room, you know, silverware, empty, bedding, empty tires, empty,
nobody around TV sets, not really anybody around. But you
go back to where the food is, and it's a zoo.
Everybody always goes to the food at Costco. The other
side of the store, ghost town, ghost town, you know,

(27:35):
winch of wipers, flashlights, nobody. But you go back to
the food and it's a it's a literally, it's like,
you know, there's a traffic jam when you go to
get something out of the refrigerator. You gotta wait for
five people to pass with those big ass carts, and
people get pissed. So we all talk about food. We
all love food. We're all gonna get fat, we're all

(27:56):
going to die, so we might as well enjoy it.
