Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's KFI AM six and you're listening to The Conway
Show on demand on the iHeartRadio Appas Conway Show, we
didn't finish up with the Amazon story here and this
woman buzzing around sing all over the place, and this
is gross. There's a lot of different ways you can

(00:22):
prevent this from happening. Amodium is one of them. That's
sold almost everywhere. A big five gallon bucket in the
back of the truck with some TP that's Numero dose,
going to a fast food place or a gas station
during your break, or getting to one and sliding in there.

(00:45):
A lot of different ways to prevent acing all over
the neighborhood. How this woman is the three D House
of casual evacuations with this woman everywhere and so casual
about it, you know, there's no it didn't seem to
be any shame or embarrassment. Just bang pants down and
here we go. Now there's more to that story.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
She pulls down her shorts, does her business, and takes
off like nothing ever happened.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
She works, well, it worked for Amazon.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
I kind of like clutched my pearls a little bit
because I'm like, really, a second time is kind of like, Wow,
still still not done.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
There's another way to prevent it. Clutching is another one.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Clutching I kind of like clutched my pearls a little
bit because I'm like, really a second time is kind
of like, wow, still still not done.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Yeah, she hit this house twice.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
It's unclear why the driver just couldn't wait to find
a restroom. The incidents happened twenty minutes apart.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
We've all been there where you had to go. You know,
the kids are going to be dropped off from the
pool early. You got to find a place, and it's
panic time, you know. Sometimes I have found this out though,
through years of you know, crazy stomachs, I have found
out that you lie. If you lie to your took us,

(02:01):
you can buy yourself some time. Your ass knows exactly
how many seconds it takes to get to your toilet,
and that's when you do the dance pants down. You're
off to the races. But if you lie to yourself,
you know you're ten minutes from home, but you say,
oh my god, I can't believe I have to drive
all the way to Riverside, your stomach sort of relaxes

(02:24):
a little, you know, because it knows it's going to
be forty five minutes away. If you lie to your stomach,
loosen your belt as well, you can buy yourself some
valuable time.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
The homes less than one mile from one another.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
That was disgusting, like very disgusting.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Oh, this kid is great. This kid with his two
brothers is going to be a future stand up comic.
Listen to this kid. This kid's awesome.

Speaker 5 (02:46):
That was disgusting, like very disgusting.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
This is something you guys would never do. Right, No, no,
she probably had Taco Bell before. Amazon kids banging on
Taco down Ei like ten years old. He performs like
a stand up comic. That's great. Right, No, no, she
probably had Taco Bell before. I mean, anytime you get

(03:12):
a joke in a on a news report, yeah you've
struck gold.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Amazon reps say the driver was an independent contractor, adding
in a statement quote, We're deeply disturbed by the unacceptable
behavior of this delivery driver and apologize to the customers involved.
We immediately identify the driver and they are no longer
delivering on behalf of Amazon.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
That's over. Gotta go find another job, maybe ups or
post office, somebody else. All Right, we got some sad
news coming out of which chase is this belly? Is
this Carson or Norco?

Speaker 6 (03:48):
This is Norco? Arco guest, it is horrible.

Speaker 7 (03:51):
Well, the Riverside County Sheriff's Apartment is still out here
investigating this tragic carjacking in which a seventy eight year
old man was killed. They say there are three different
crime scenes. First off, this Arco gas station that's where
the carjacking happened. The second scene about a quarter mile
up the road where that elderly man was ejected from
his vehicle. The third crime scene is in the city

(04:13):
of Riverside, where the vehicle was eventually recovered and two
suspects were taken into custody. The Riverside County Sheriff's Department
says it all happened around twelve twenty this afternoon at
the Arco gas station on Hidden Valley Parkway and Norco.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
A big Arco out there and a popular one. If
you live in that area, you probably have been to
that Arcle. I've been to that Arco and I live
forty miles from it.

Speaker 8 (04:36):
At the Arco gas station on Hidden Valley Parkway and Norco,
they say a seventy eight year old man was vacuuming
out the back of his car at the car wash
when the suspect walked up and brazenly got into the
car and started backing up, with the victim halfway into
the back of the car. That's when they say the
suspect sped east on Hidden Valley Parkway, dragging the man

(04:57):
for about a quarter mile.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
You believe that, Yes, Kay, seventy eight years old and
he's under a car being dragged for a half mile.

Speaker 8 (05:08):
Dragging the man for about a quarter mile before the
elderly man fell out. He was taken to a hospital
where he was pronounced dead. Oh not long afterwards. Surrounding
agencies were able to locate the car near an apartment
complex at the intersection of Polk and Magnolia in the
city of Riverside. That's where they say two people were
detained and taken into custody. Again a lot for the

(05:30):
Riverside County Sheriff's Department to put together on this one,
but again two suspects taken into custody. They say there
is at this point no threat to the public. Liven
Norco Rob McMillen ABC seven Eye Witness News.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
All right for people that want to know where this
is because you know names of cities and streets to
sort of roll off the tongue, and nobody really, you know,
puts two and two together. This is right off the
fifteen Freeway, just a little bit east of the fifteen
Freeway and just a little bit north of the ninety one.
The Hidden Valley Parkway is a major thoroughfare to get
through that area, and it's what everyone uses instead of

(06:06):
the ninety one Freeway, and it ends up going right
into the ninety one if you stay on it, it
turns into McKinley Street, and you know where this is
if you live in that area. You know there's a
Chick fil A in that area too, Hidden Valley Plaza
that's exactly where this happened. And you got a Stater Brothers,
the Coles, you know, the whole big chain, Starbucks, and

(06:28):
it's a great area. It's a nice area. Across the freeway.
There's a Carls there. A lot of people stop there
their last stop before they head to Vegas. There was
something to Denny's. There's a Denny's there, and then they
get on with the Jamba Juice and they head north
to Las Vegas or wherever you're going. So it's just
north of the ninety one, it's south of the sixty freeway,

(06:48):
and it's a nice area. It's a you know, El
Crito area. It's beautiful out there. And this poor guy,
seventy eight years old cleaning out his car, cleaning out
I believe that they said he was cleaning out the
trunk or the car and got hit and dragged for
a half hour or half mile and was killed. That's

(07:12):
where we live. Well, we're live, most of us. You
just try to make it. You know, they can't get
all of us, but they're going to get some of us.
And that guy's turn was today. And now the grandkids,
the great grandkids, the kids, everybody's got it buried dead
now because this guy wanted a car. I don't know

(07:34):
what we're doing here, but it's not working.

Speaker 9 (07:37):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
Am sixty.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
The five Freeway was closed in Burbank with from what
we understand, a homeless guy crawled out onto the freeway
sign that hangs over the northbound lanes of the five
Freeway around six o'clock on Friday. They closed the North
End in southbound lanes. I went to that exact same
spot and recorded a video to show you exactly how

(08:05):
dangerous that was and what the vibe was like at
seven o'clock on Friday. I purposely waited until seven o'clock
on Sunday to get you the exact same sun, the
exact same weather conditions that the cops were dealing with.
I think it was a homeless guy who was out
on that sign. And now you know, one hundred and

(08:26):
fifty two hundred thousand people had to rearrange their Friday
night because of this guy. And Bellio did you did
we put up on x or Insta?

Speaker 6 (08:37):
Oh, it's v's everywhere at Conway Show. Check it out.
He's quite the investigative reporter.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
Thank you very much, Thank you very much. And I
did it sort of like a nineteen fifties style, you know,
old report. He was standing right there, right there when
that happened, and it you know, Petros text me saying, hey,
is this a challenge? And he thinks I was showing

(09:05):
him up because Petros and I we both had a
news story a couple months ago when the rains got
crazy and the La River was cresting, and I did
my story, he did his, and people looked at both
of them, criticized both of us, complimented both of us.
But he thinks when I do these news stories, I'm

(09:27):
challenging him, which I Wasn't. You want to hear something embarrassing, Billiam.

Speaker 6 (09:34):
How about you.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Part of it? Take it So. Matt money Smith that
does the show over there with Petros Papadecus called Petro
some money, very successful show. If I was starting a
radio station, I put those two guys on the morning
and then designed the whole station around those two in
the morning. If I'm the program director. Matt money Smith,

(09:57):
I ran into him today and he's you can't believe
my dad called me. He goes, hey, mag I went
to Walmart and I got pants nine dollars ninety nine
cents for jeans and they and they look great. And
Matt said, have you heard of these jeans? And I
pulled up my shirt, pulled down my belt, and I

(10:22):
showed him these are the these are the George's jeans
that I have on right now. Nine dollars and ninety
nine cents for jeans that are sensational. I don't know
how they make them for that little money. But they're great.
I think it's called Saint George or George the George
line at Walmart Man. They're good. It's like it's like

(10:45):
what Costco used to be. Costco used to sell their
old their own jeans, and then they stopped doing and
they replaced with Levi's. But I don't like the stretchy jeans.
Everybody's with the stretchy material nowadays. I don't like that.
I like just flat, honest to god, good old you
know material. But I don't. I don't like this stretchy

(11:09):
Everyone's into the stretch nowadays. I think that's allowing you
to become fat where your jeans will not judge you.
That's what's going on. There's more room for taco bell. Yeah,
but it's encouraging you to fill up, you know, because
your jeans are gonna work with you. I don't want
my jeans to work with me. You're cute jeans, you're

(11:31):
Oh thanks, you're cute jeens. Oh thank you?

Speaker 6 (11:34):
You mean no, they're your cute jeans.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
Well, thank you. I appreciate that.

Speaker 6 (11:38):
Not your cute jeans. Your cute jeans.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
Ah, you're so nice, Beelly, But they do sell them
at at at Walmart. I think they were I don't
think there were nine ninety nine. I think they were
twelve ninety nine. But man, they're really good jeans, they
really aren't. They look great, they feel great. They're just great.
You're gonna save money as well, lots of money. All right,
let's talk about these stupid squirrels. Everyone's talk about these,

(12:03):
the squirrel boom in Santa Monica. Even the squirrels are
aggressive in Santa Monica, and they're everywhere. The squirrel boom
is on.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
Definitely debatable depending on who you talk.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
It is on the bluffs right where Third Street Promenade,
let's out, you know, third Street, second first, so it's
I don't know pH or whatever they call the cliff
Street there, but it's that park that's up on the bluffs.
Has a billion squirrels now.

Speaker 4 (12:28):
Definitely debatable depending on who you talk to, whether or
not they're cute. Okay, just a little while ago, a
couple of minutes, we saw dozens and dozens of squirrels
here on the grass. Someone came fed them, they took
the food and then they took off. But will show
you that video in just a moment. It's pretty obvious
that the squirrel population has exploded in recent years.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Yeah, because they don't have to work to get you know,
walnuts or nuts or or meals. These people in Santa
Monica feed them, so they've become, you know, accustomed to that.
They're not feral anymore. But now they rely on that food.
So people stop feeding them, they're going to pass away.

Speaker 4 (13:04):
This is Palisades Park, which stretches along Ocean Avenue, and
now take a look at this video. Longtime residents say
there's always been a lot of squirrels here, but since
the pandemic, they've noticed a sharp increase, and residents described
situations where these squirrels are not afraid of humans. Now
there are concerns that they are just coming too close
to people. Some even say that they've run up on

(13:25):
their legs.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
Yeah, that's true. And you can hear the people out there,
you know, chanting, people yelling at these squirrels, and like,
I think you're the wrong protest ladies. They always think

(13:47):
of you and h Shannon when it comes to that
squirrel that hangs out outside and she doesn't like feed it.
There's a squirrel that hangs out here really aggressive squirrel.
Radically aggressive squirrel flea he did.

Speaker 6 (14:03):
Yes, yes, one with the red hot chili peppers. Yeah,
he bit Flee.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
Don't you have to get tetnus or not tetnus, you
have to get I think he did ye. Raby shots
are really really painful. How about that? Though we had
invited guy to come on the radio, was he up
a kiss or alt?

Speaker 6 (14:23):
He was on the sports station. He was a huge
Lakers fan.

Speaker 10 (14:26):
And then and then a squirrel bites well because Pinnacle
Pete was coming up to people because people were feeding himself,
and Flee was coming in and Pinnacle Pete went up
to him, so he.

Speaker 6 (14:39):
Went to like pet him and he bit him.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
This is Palisades Park, which stretches along Ocean Avenue, And
I'll take a look at this video. Longtime residents say
there's always been a lot of squirrels here, but since
the pandemic they've noticed a sharp increase. And residents described
situations where these squirrels are not afraid of humans now there,
that they are just coming too close to people. Some
even say that they've run up on their legs.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
Yeah, wait till you know. An eighty year old woman
gets bit rabies. Bang, she's down, and then this whole
party's over.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
Ground squirrels can also cause damage. Their burrows can be
up to thirty feet long and several feet below ground. Now,
the city of Santa Monica has posted signs, including right
where we are, that say people should not feed the
squirrels or birds. The sign say it creates an imbalance
in native ecology and increases their dependence on humans for food.

(15:34):
But as we have seen throughout this morning, people are
not listening to those signs, and they're coming right up
and feeding these squirrels. Residents we spoke with say people
are to blame.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
Well, when did we start recognizing, you know, signs telling
us what to do. We're in a whole society. We
see a sign says don't do it, and you're like,
that's just a mere suggestion. That's for other people, not me,
and you do it anyway. And people out there feeding
these girls. There's hundreds of them, hundreds of them.

Speaker 11 (16:02):
I went to school in New York City and those
squirrels would look up at you and kind of have
an attitude like what are you looking at, buddy? And
I've noticed now that these squirrels have become kind of
desensitized to all the people. They don't I mean I
almost trip over them when I jog because they don't
get out of your way.

Speaker 12 (16:19):
I was just sitting in the park and the squirrels
came up to me and one actually like crawled on
my leg and was like, get me the nuts your eatings.
I wasn't really worried that it was going to bite
me because they are just so docile.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Now we need this Amazon driver to go s all
over those squirrels, get them mind, get them out of there.
I don't know what the answer is, though. They're eventually
going to have to catch these squirrels and move them
or I don't know, put them down. But there's way
too many. You know, they're not afraid of humans. There's
hundreds of them. They're everywhere, and eventually they're going to

(16:56):
dig into that cliff you know, three feet deep, thirty
feet long. That's the burrow where they you know, procreate.
They're gonna multiply in that whole cliff's going to go
right into the ocean because of these people feeding squirrels.
That is going to happen, and they predict it's going
to happen on the exact same day as the opening

(17:16):
ceremonies of the Olympics, so we have that to look
forward to as well.

Speaker 9 (17:20):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
AM six forty.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
That's my anniversary, May twenty third, How many years? Twenty one?

Speaker 6 (17:34):
Wow? Congratulations? What do you give for your twenty one
brass knuckles?

Speaker 1 (17:44):
Yeah? We both put on brass knuckles.

Speaker 6 (17:46):
Then have it out.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
Yeah, just spend twenty minutes, you know, reintroducing ourselves to
each other.

Speaker 6 (17:53):
Do you do you make the two of you make
a big deal about an anniversary or not?

Speaker 1 (17:58):
Really? No, No, I mean we are are It's not
a big deal, but I mean it's it's an important day.

Speaker 6 (18:08):
You acknowledge it.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Yes, Like this year it happens to fall on the
same day as the Garden Grove Strawberry Festival, So I
might be taking the lovely one to the sixty fifth
annual Garden Grove Strawberry Festival. That'll be nice May twenty
thirds through May twenty sixth. That's Memorial Day weekend, isn't it.

Speaker 6 (18:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
Yeah, you get free cake on Friday, free concerts, free contests,
carnival rides, great food and shopping, and that's all the
things she likes.

Speaker 6 (18:42):
Memorial Days of twenty eighth, correct, Oh it is?

Speaker 1 (18:46):
Yeah, what says Memorial Day weekend?

Speaker 6 (18:48):
Let me see.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
I think it's the twenty sixth, using it's the twenty eighth.
I don't know it's the twenty years and it's not
the Yeah, twenty eighth is the Wednesday that means nothing afterwards?
Is that what you meant?

Speaker 6 (19:10):
I have something to do.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
That what you meant? Twenty eighth is a Wednesday that
means nothing? Thinking of anybody else?

Speaker 6 (19:18):
Maybe it's someone's birthday, so that person.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
This is Bellios Comedy segment brought to you by Advanced
Rair one day treatment, life changing results. Make your point
me today at Advanced Teir dot Come and then don't forget.
The fog Hat will be there May twenty third at Broda.
So'll go to fog Hat. It'd be a cool show
to see. I'd like to see that Paris Hilton is

(19:44):
in the news much lighter than these high speed chases
or people getting run over. Paris Hilton has a surprise,
a surprise. This is really a cool story. Check this out.

Speaker 13 (19:56):
Heys my way to Dallas, right now, surprise someone very special.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
Prs. You want to know something that's hot.

Speaker 5 (20:03):
My car just caught on fire and your cup survived,
and you please mind your car.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
This woman's car burned to the ground and the only
thing it didn't burn is the Paris Hilton cup that
she used to drink her coffee out of.

Speaker 6 (20:16):
Her name is Leviana, and she has no idea that coming.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
Libana story really inspired me. She's a full time teacher
and workmen kids.

Speaker 4 (20:24):
With special needs.

Speaker 14 (20:25):
She goes to college and she supports herself in an
emain Rianna rise for you.

Speaker 5 (20:34):
After her car got on fire, I knew I had
to do something to help Surprise.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
I wonder if they could have taken the mic further away?
Was the was the mic in Florida when.

Speaker 10 (20:51):
She was given the car to ro surprising the Oh
I see, I see.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
So the microphone was in Florida while she was given
the car to somebody in Texas.

Speaker 13 (20:59):
Yes, exactly, Okay, thank.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
You, thank you gay or do you hear that? Thank God?
Off off the car?

Speaker 13 (21:20):
Right?

Speaker 1 (21:23):
What's your catchphrase, Richie? That's hot? That's hot and also
it loves it or living? Did you think she said
that about the car that was on fire.

Speaker 13 (21:32):
She gave her a sticker like a bumper sticker, and
she says when she gives her the the car, and
it says living on it.

Speaker 1 (21:40):
So she's living. Yeah.

Speaker 13 (21:42):
Living is like when you're slain and living your best life.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
So living.

Speaker 5 (21:48):
So yeah, God, this is crazy.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
Yes, very disposable.

Speaker 5 (21:56):
Ever since I was a child, my mom was in
it now, always like go here, go there.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
So there's a little person screaming ding dong throughout that.
How is that a connection?

Speaker 5 (22:07):
Go there? So I never had or anybody be good
to me. So for a complete stranger that I honestly look.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
Up to, it's upbeat music in the background like a funeral.

Speaker 5 (22:17):
So for a complete stranger that I honestly look up to,
thank God, I'm watching for you to do this magic.
She said, there's really.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
Oh that's when one of those Santa Monica squirrels bitter.

Speaker 9 (22:37):
Final.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
Thank god we're on TikTok and I saw it. I
was being tacked so many times.

Speaker 11 (22:45):
And then I went to watch the video.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
And do you think she paid for the car with
her own money or she got an advertiser involved, like
a car Max or something. She got Carvan involved.

Speaker 6 (22:59):
Because she she drives to deliver the car to ah
with Carvana.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
That's a great publicity for Carvana. There's living, so that
is slivering living living.

Speaker 4 (23:14):
And then.

Speaker 1 (23:16):
Mourn I was like, watch a teacher, Oh, children.

Speaker 5 (23:23):
Just started watching your videos.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
So kind ody has any idea how a microphone works
with this crew? I want to go in just a
Music's the loudest thing in this piece.

Speaker 5 (23:38):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
We're flying back to LA to Mars. Can you stop
in Texas and go surprise her?

Speaker 14 (23:47):
Look at the cup the icon and that it has
on it literally looks perfect literally, And then that's.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
My favorite cup.

Speaker 9 (24:00):
Car, the same one.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
How did you hear that? The spokesman in the background again,
the one I think I'm going to tell people crazy?
What kind of cards you give her?

Speaker 13 (24:21):
You know, look like a Hyundai beat up? No brand
new page everything.

Speaker 1 (24:27):
Wow, that's over.

Speaker 9 (24:42):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from kf
I A M six forty.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
The Conway Show stock mark was up by eleven hundred points.
How about these for gainers today? These companies that made
a lot of money if you had stock and dev
and dev Stream Corporation, what they do? They went up
two hundred and ninety percent today, two hundred and ninety
percent in one day, kin Lee m D two hundred
and fifty percent. These are just in one day. Griffin

(25:10):
Digital Mining one hundred and seventy three percent, Damon ninety
seven percent. All these companies made a ton of money today.
If you could have gotten in early, you know today
you made two hundred and ninety percent. I don't know
what this company does. Dev Stream dev Stream affiliate with

(25:33):
Monroe Partners, sign an agreement with Southern Energy. Oh, these
are all energy companies. I think they smell a lot
of profits coming around. So that stock open today and
thirty three cents and ended up closing a dollar thirty

(25:56):
dollars thirty one. So you made a lot of money,
made a ton of money if you could got it,
got in on that. A lot of stocks were up today,
and that's cool, right, You always want stocks to go up.
Disney was up, Microsoft up, all these stocks. I don't
know if it's too late to get in, maybe it is,
who knows, But lots of money out there, lots of

(26:19):
money to be made, all right. Arby's one of my
favorite stocks. Arby's. What's happening with the Arby's sign on
Sunset Bulevard, the one on Sunset right off the one
on one closed, which is depressing. That was my nearest
Arby's krazier and I huge huge Arby's fans. Lly, oh
not so much, Kelly, not a big Rby's gal? Right? No,

(26:43):
are you you love Arby's?

Speaker 6 (26:45):
Hold on a second, I know that.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
To say the sport? Who said that? So we just
said the whole S word? What's going on in? Yeah?
I didn't hear it.

Speaker 6 (26:57):
Hello, I'm sorry, I'm back.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
Okay, are you a big Arby's fan?

Speaker 6 (27:01):
I love Arby?

Speaker 1 (27:02):
I didn't know that you're a beef goal y?

Speaker 3 (27:05):
I e beef?

Speaker 1 (27:07):
Okay, you love it though? Right?

Speaker 6 (27:11):
I do love it? Nothing like arby sauce.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
Oh my god, Harvey's the best, the best.

Speaker 15 (27:17):
We're finally learning what's becoming of the Arby's restaurant that
shut down on Sunset Boulevard in the Hollywood after fifty
five years. The vast food chain Raising Canes is giving
them building a makeover, and when it reopens next year,
they won't be serving roast beef but chicken fingers. As
far as the giant brown Derby hat, Arby's is taking
it with them to possibly relocate to another store in

(27:39):
the LA area.

Speaker 1 (27:40):
There they go with their hat, their big hat, big hat,
no cattle, and there are They're off to another location.

Speaker 15 (27:47):
Man oh Man, raising Canes, says the sign doesn't qualify
as a historic landmark.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
Interesting, there you go. Well, I'm glad to see there's
gonna be more chicken places around. There's Canes, there's uh,
what do we got? KFC chick fil A is great Popeyes,
and then you got all the Louisiana hot chicken places,
Charlie's Hot Chickens Daves. Yeah, everyone's with the hot chicken.

(28:16):
I like it. But I like that box Chicken. That
guy we had in the other day.

Speaker 6 (28:21):
Eat box Chicken.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
Oh that was awesome. Yeah, that was it. That guy
knows what's going on with that box Chicken. Might go
there to night. I'd have to drive all the way
to Westwood. It'd be worth it. They're open on nine o'clock.
Eat box Chicken. That was some meal. And he brought
that in. He was like three hours old or two
hours old when he brought it in with his mom.
What was his mom's name, BELLI, Oh, you're good with names.

(28:44):
With the chef and his mom.

Speaker 6 (28:50):
Hold on one second, he's.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
Drinking out of her box of wine.

Speaker 6 (28:54):
But Raco Clark, Yes, that's right.

Speaker 1 (28:58):
She's great.

Speaker 6 (28:59):
So Chicken and Chef Noah Clark.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
Eatboxchicken dot com. That's a great meal. It's in Westwood.
You can't eat there. You got to take it out
and take it to go. But man, that is great.
All right. In and Out we've got time. Yeah. In
and Out is opening up three more locations. We talked
about this earlier. Now it's confirmed. We're getting three more
In and Out locations here in southern California.

Speaker 16 (29:20):
In and Out is serving up an expansion, one double
double at a time. The California burger chain is opening
three new locations in the state of in State, Indio, Modesto,
and Monrovia. In and Out already has announced plans to
open a store in Sillmar and three locations across Arizona, Colorado,
and for the first time, Washington State. All of the
stores are scheduled to open this year.

Speaker 1 (29:41):
Wow wow, wow, all right, that is a cool deal.
We didn't get to this Vegas tunnel story. We could
start here, maybe finish up tomorrow. That's how radio works.
A lot of people living under casinos in Las Vegas,
like thousands.

Speaker 6 (29:56):
How long have you been in this tunnel?

Speaker 2 (30:00):
About five years?

Speaker 1 (30:01):
It's coping, guys been living in the tunnels below casinos
for five years.

Speaker 17 (30:06):
For a thirty nine year old man who wants only
to be known as Tree, this walk's home.

Speaker 16 (30:13):
They had one homeless shelter that was overran and I
just followed the tracks and ended up down here.

Speaker 17 (30:19):
That place, a network of tunnels stretching hundreds of miles,
originally meant to divert rain water, and now home to
an entire underground population, all living just a few feet
under the bright lights of the Las Vegas Strip. How
many people do you estimate are living here right now?

Speaker 13 (30:37):
Approximately twelve to fifteen hundred.

Speaker 17 (30:39):
So we are three feet Caesar's Palace, beneath.

Speaker 15 (30:43):
Caesar's Palace on the Las Vegas Strip.

Speaker 16 (30:46):
And you said it yourself, you've been here many times,
you would never even know.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
It was here.

Speaker 17 (30:49):
I feel like I've spent so many times looking up
at the lights, I have never once looked down.

Speaker 1 (30:53):
Talk about the haves and the have nots, the millionaires
that are gambling at Caesar's Palace, then there's people living
right under their feet, right under their feet, crazy right.

Speaker 17 (31:03):
Rob Banghart works for Shina Light, an organization that helps
guide people out of homelessness through services like addiction treatment,
mental health care, and access to housing. He comes with
a team of caseworkers every Saturday, hoping to reach people
like David.

Speaker 6 (31:18):
Does it ever get hard to be in the dark
for so many hours?

Speaker 16 (31:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 13 (31:22):
We can get used to it.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
Yeah, yeah, right under, that's a crazy, crazy story. Are
we gotta get out of here? Moe Kelly is up
