Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's KMF. I am sixty and you're listening to The
Conway Show on demand on the iHeartRadio app. Hey, Krozer,
didn't you think that this is going to go on
till seven thirty?
Speaker 2 (00:11):
I thought for sure he was gonna at least Trump
was gonna take questions.
Speaker 1 (00:14):
Yeah, exactly. I think it kind of took all of us.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
By surprise that they just ended it and it's done,
and everybody's getting up better of those seats and walking
out and questions about.
Speaker 1 (00:22):
Not just you know, Russia and the war and Ukraine,
but you know, when did you meet Milania? You know,
according to the New York Times, it was the four
year difference between you and the date you said. You know,
there's a guy up in Alaska. And both of these
presidents got there today at the same time, which was
remarkable planning and scheduling for both those planes to arrive
(00:46):
within a few minutes of each other. And then they
walked the red carpet, and when they met, somebody was
lip reading Putin and Putin said, he points to Air
Force one. He goes, God, I'd like to have a
plane like this. Mine is so effing noisy. No And
(01:07):
you could tell when you know, when he landed, when
they landed that plane, that Russian plane, man, nobody could
hear anything, you know, those clunking Russian engines and bang
bye bye bang bye bye bye, bang bye bye bang.
And and I thought, all right, this meeting was going
to go on for either one minute or three days. Yeah,
and it thought it was going to be a short
day for us, that's right. And and then uh, and
(01:28):
then the the press conference I thought was going to
go on for a long time, but it but it wasn't.
And I guess Trump knows, uh when to cut it off,
you know, because he knows every station and not only
in the United States and Russia is on it, but
the world is watching this.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
And the fact that they didn't really neither of them
spoke of any substantive issues, it's not really surprising considering
you know, like as Trump said, he's got to go
to Ukraine and or talk to Zelensky and get his thoughts,
agreements or whatever on whatever was proposed. So I guess
they weren't really going to give any details based on
that reason alone.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
And when they say that, you know that there is
no land that Ukraine's going to give up. They're giving
up land. The Russians are not going back to their border.
There's no way that's going to happen. They're not going
to lose hundreds of thousands of guys and just go
right back to the you know, to the old, existing
four year old borders. That's not gonna happen. It's it's
a question of how much Russia. How much will Russia
(02:21):
take from Ukraine, and maybe a lot. I don't know
Ukraine agrees to give up? Yeah, right, well they man,
I don't know how this ends. And then you're gonna
have to put a wall between those, you know, those
two territories so people don't come across and kill each other. Yeah,
that's what starts the next one.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
A lot of the agreement also that people were surmising
was that true Putin was going to demand that not
only that the probably the land that they've already taken,
but possibly more. But then they've also experts have also
been saying these probably was demanding that Ukraine still not
get into NATO.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
Right, yeah, exactly. Well that's originally why it started. You know,
they kept you know, wanting to get a NATO and
they finally had a you know, a sort of a
handshake agreement to join NATO. And that's when Putin said
it enough, you know, and and somebody explained it to
me this way. You know, NATO to to Russia is
(03:16):
what Russia is to us. And if Russia came and
you know, took part of you know, or took over Cuba,
there's no way we'd allow that, you know, I mean,
we literally, you know, would go to war over that.
And so you know, the NATO kept encroaching on the property.
And and and I think, look that part of the area.
(03:36):
I don't know a lot about Ukraine and Russia before
I understand that the people live in eastern Ukraine and
people live in western Russia are about the same people.
You know, they speak the same languages, are very very close,
they have the same history, they have the same background,
the Soviet Yeah, right, exactly. And and so it's a
(03:57):
it's a it's a really bizarre, you know, part of
the world because the people are so close, yet they're
fighting to the death. And I don't know when when
this war is over, what the total is going to be,
but it might be, you know, it might be in
the millions or at least a million people dead on
both sides.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
So I want to say that they probably spoke for
two to three hours. I mean, you don't know how
much time there was between when they ended the meeting
when they actually started that conference, but they probably got
there roughly like twelve thirty somewhere around there.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Right, And they also had must have had some kind
of agreement before they left. There's no way Trump would
have gone to Alaska with nothing on the table because
that could have been an embarrassment.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
And yesterday or was the day before that Trump had
said he would know within two minutes whether Putin was
actually serious about any sort of peace steal possibility, right,
because it lasted longer two minutes maybe to get that
vibe right, But every time Putin has said, you know,
we agree to a cease fire or you know, at
least a temporary cease fire, he's blasted away.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
Oh he was.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
He was attacking Ukraine as they as the two plans landed. Yeah,
he's trying to make the points. So then you have
to worry about how serious this whole thing was in
the first place.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
I don't know what the answer is. I think a
lot of people are you know think that Russia is
a lot stronger than it really is. I don't know
how how great that economy is, how strong that country is,
I don't know. I think you know, when when you
have a stronghold on a country like that and it's
a rough place to live, you know, I mean, you
(05:26):
don't have any kind of freedoms in Russia like you
have here. None, I mean not even close.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Trump did say there was great progress today, but in
his words, we didn't get there.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
Yeah, that would mean I thought at one point he
was going to talk about Steph Fush's accident, and that
didn't happen. I thought, maybe, you know, Putin would have
mentioned it, but that didn't go on. So because they
don't care, at least one of them doesn't. Do you
think Trump ever heard of a story seventy brought to us? Okay, so,
(06:02):
mister President's sitting down for this. The Foush, which is
not his real name, he goes. His coworkers called him,
even though Rick Chambers calls him Steph Fuche and last
night Mark Brown on Channel seven gave us a ding dog.
That's all bs. What is What really happened was he
was on the one oh five. But you know how
they do brief the president on big stories whenever there's
a shooting or whatever. Yeah, right, I woner if somebody
(06:25):
came and goes, Okay, there's a guy in La radio
called the he wiped out radically on the freeway. I
don't think it's his fault, but you know it just
the car caught on fire, and then these five people
saved them. They flipped the car over. It was unbelievable.
It was to be Okay, he looks like he's gonna
be all right. His mom and dad went into the studio. Yeah,
I done know, you're right. Trump on hot Dog Day,
(06:48):
i'd you know, yeah, that's right, hot dog Day. I
always know what hot dog Day is. And then they
had soda, which is this Mediterranean place down the street.
All the people that worked there seem to enjoy that food.
I'd love to see that and being briefed on that.
Let's story. All right, we gotta take a break here.
That was Russia and the United States. We'll get back
to Los Angeles and the craziness here because there's a.
Speaker 5 (07:10):
Lot of it.
Speaker 6 (07:11):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
Am six forty.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
All right, we just heard from President Trump and President
Putin and they came to some kind of agreement. We
don't know any details none. I don't know what's in it.
If you do, great, but we don't. So next next, Hey,
I noticed this. I was talking to Richie just now.
Richie's in for Bello. Bellio had to take a day off.
(07:40):
She was so emotional over all the Steph Fush news.
She's very close with these guys, with Richie, Kiki, steph USh, Robin,
who else is a producer around here, Maddie, all these guys,
all these guys and gals. She's like, she's like their
second week. She's like, there's second mom. And when and
(08:01):
when Steph Wush got hurt, she took it like her
own child got hurt, and and and so she had
to take the day off. She was a wreck. She
got very emotionally yesterday. She started crying when she's when
she talked to Steph's dad and STEP's mom, she was
trying to hold it back and keep it together for them.
So that Bellio man, she's got a huge heart. I
(08:23):
meant that metaphorically, you know, not physically. She's not in
trouble of dying of obese heart. So you gotta do
you gotta do that nowadays. Got to clear that up.
So I got a call on the way to work,
actually from a friend of mine, and and I look
at the phone, and I and I do what everybody
(08:46):
else does when your phone rings, and you, first of all,
you look to see who it is. You look to
see who it is. And then what do we all do?
We don't admit it. I think I'm the first guy
to admit it on the air. We all do it.
We start with this, What the F does this guy
(09:07):
want all the time? Why is this fing guy calling me?
What the christ is going on with his life? What the.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
I don't have time?
Speaker 1 (09:20):
I'm busy. What's going on with this guy? What's going
on with this guy? Call it and not texting?
Speaker 4 (09:25):
First?
Speaker 1 (09:26):
What's going on? And then you can leave the voicemail
and then you can read along, Richie, you have this right, Yeah,
you can read along with the voicemail.
Speaker 4 (09:37):
Correct. So now, first of all, why are you leaving
me a voicemail?
Speaker 3 (09:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (09:40):
Right?
Speaker 3 (09:40):
I mean why you.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
Can do everything through text? I love your generation. I
would have fit in perfectly with your generation, Richie, nobody
calls anybody.
Speaker 4 (09:49):
No, yeah, just send me a text text and then right,
you know, if I'm interested or if I want to
respond to that's exactly right.
Speaker 1 (09:54):
And gang you can end a text chain. You don't
always have to put the heart on the text or
the thumbs up or whatever. You can just not respond
and people are cool with that is yeah.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
Or you can even hide your notification that you read
the message to begin with, or you could be you know,
a little cheeky and let them know that you read
it but you're not responding.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
Or how about this, while they're leaving a voicemail, you
can hit a button and pop into the voicemail and
start talking to them.
Speaker 4 (10:19):
Yes, it's it transcribes the voicemail now, so it basically
you can read along as they're speaking and then you
decide if you want to bump in there or not.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
And you can pop in while they're leaving a voicemail.
And that always says I wasn't really into talking to you,
but I gave in, so I'll talk to you. With them,
I would have been totally into your generation.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
Man.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
It's a whole group of people who are just antisocial
on their phones all day and I think that's why
when Richie, when you get together with your friends, you
go nuts because you are just texting everybody all day.
You have no real contact. When you go out like
drinking and dancing and stuff, you guys go crazy.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
We do.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
It's that big huge burst of energy. You're like, oh, well,
look I'm with people. This is unbelievable.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
It's funny that you mentioned that, because on a group
chat that I'm in with my closest friends, I there's
like a big threat of conversation about booking a flight
and I haven't responded back to them, and I feel
so bad because I feel like they probably think that
I'm mad at them, but I'm not. It's just like,
you know, oh, this is something my daughter told me.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
And I don't know about Robin Krozer, Maddie and Richie.
I don't know an Angel. I don't know if you
know this. But if I send you a text and
I say, you know, like you say, you know, what's
how's your day going, And I'm like, oh, it's going fine.
If I put a period after that, it means it's
(11:44):
going fine. But if there's no period after that, it's like, oh,
it's going fine, is that true. That's what my daughter
told me. A period at the end.
Speaker 4 (11:51):
Is attitude, I would say, so.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
Just ingenuous what you're saying. And somehow I.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Think and first of all, oh, by the way, this
drives me crazy. When when you send a text to somebody,
you don't have to say, I went to the store,
or I you know, I made a phone call today,
I went on a trip. It's coming from you. You
can just say when on a trip, right went to
the store. You don't have to say I it's coming
(12:18):
from you. It's only coming from you.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Writing in text is basically a brand new language.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
It is.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
And my my daughter we were over at Handle's ice Cream.
This is about a week and a half ago, and
I was talking to her and she was looking me
straight in the eye. So I was telling her something
and she was fussing around her phone and I thought
she was cold. It was cold outside. So I go, hey,
do you need a sweater? You're shaking And she goes, no,
I'm texting Corey. I go what she goes, yeah, I'm
(12:45):
texting Corey. Oh I guess got a text. Oh I'll
never call you again. That's why the guy who called
me on the way to work. So she's texting while
she's staring me in the eye. She doesn't have to
look at the keyboard. These new this new generation of
kids can text with both thumbs without ever even looking
(13:06):
at the keyboard. And it was perfect. Never had to
go back and make corrections. I got to go back
and make corrections on everything I do. If I write, okay,
sometimes the ode doesn't come out. And if it's down
near the space bar, good night, good night, if it's
if if IF, if I'm writing a text to somebody
and I'm you know, I'm at the bottom of the
space bar like z x c V B N and M.
(13:30):
Half the time I hit the space bar, it's by
fat fingers and it and I gotta go back. But
this new generation also can you drag and text?
Speaker 4 (13:37):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (13:38):
You know where you drag the letters? Do you not
to do that? Richie?
Speaker 4 (13:41):
I could, but I don't really stick with that. Okay.
I like typing.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
There's a new thing that the kids can do where
you put your finger Like let's say you want to
write the radio station. You put your finger on R.
Then you sluck without taking it off the phone, put
it to a uh uh, and then D and then
I N O and it'll print radio. You never have
to take your finger off the phone, Like if I
want to write Crozier c R O z I E R,
(14:08):
and I just move it around the phone without taking
my phone off the finger and it writes your name.
That's unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
Yeah, it's kind It's been around for a few years,
and I tried it when I first knew about it
a couple of years ago myself. But it's not but
it nails it every time. It's remarkable, is it for you? Yeah,
I've had issues with it. Yeah, maybe it's more maybe
it's more intuitive now, but I don't.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
Know, you know, these I don't know if these kids
are good are gonna be good at typing, because that's
a whole new, you know, set of uh you know,
finger muscles you don't use. But texting, they're unbelievable. How
quickly they can text too, kind of ridiculous. I mean,
and you know they they do. They they type faster
than I do the voice to text. It's unreal. And
(14:47):
this generation they got it going on, at least in
that area. At least in that area. Every other thing
in the world.
Speaker 4 (14:55):
Do you remember the BlackBerry. I do, yes, Okay, so
supposedly that they're bringing in back so with the buttons
and everything, so that's going to be super fun like,
but it's gonna be like you me typing.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
Oh god, man, I was gonna say, you can save
that for off the air. It's a great sound effect.
But yeah, you know the I never was into that
into the BlackBerry. I never had one. I went right
from a flip phone to a smart one. Those buttons
seems smaller to me than what's on your phone now. Yeah,
(15:29):
they're virtual buttons, and then there's crap that gets into that.
It's like a keyboard. You got to blow it out
every once in a while. But I remember going to
as what's your name Stefan? What's the Gwen stefanieh. I
went to a Gwen Stefani concert with my wife, and
this is back in the late nineties, and everybody held
their phone up with the light on, and so I
(15:50):
flipped my phone up and I was doing it with
the light you know, like I was nineteen or eighteen.
Shut up, Crozier and and I and my wife said,
what are you doing. Everyone's hold their phone up and
putting the light on. Just Tim. They all have cameras
on their phone. They're taking pictures. You don't have a
camera on your phone. Felt like such an ale touch
an ale. But I'm picking up with that, you know,
I'm picking up what you guys are putting down with
(16:12):
this new generation.
Speaker 4 (16:14):
Better late Demander felt like I'm eighty alright.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
Were live? Shut up, Crozier, I'm coming in there.
Speaker 6 (16:20):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
AM six forty more.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
Staph Fouche Audio will play for you sometime today. Channel
five and Channel seven did an unbelievable piece on both
those stations, and Mark Brown gave us a ding dong
how about that? Last night? Mark Brown one of the
great anchors of on ABC forever. He's been there I
think sixty years. I've been there my whole life. At
(16:46):
the end of doing the story, he goes dig dong
with the you know that story, ding dong with Conway.
That's great. I love that, dude, Mark Brown, outstanding guy.
All right, Alex Michaelson is with us. He is officially
left Fox or leaving tonight. I think, Alex, how.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
You bob ding dong with you?
Speaker 1 (17:05):
Dig dong with you, buddy. Hey, so you you was
last night? Your last night or tonight at Fox?
Speaker 3 (17:12):
The night is my last night?
Speaker 1 (17:14):
Oh my god, the end of an era. I can't
believe it's already been a decade.
Speaker 3 (17:19):
It hasn't been a decade, and so I don't know
why it keeps getting reported. I've been I've been at
Fox for seven and a half years.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
Why did they say it again?
Speaker 3 (17:27):
It feels like a decade. Well, they said after nearly
a decade. I didn't. I don't know how seven and
a half became nearly a decade. I guess it is
closer to ten than it is, okay at five? Yeah, yeah, okay,
So I'll take it whatever, all right?
Speaker 1 (17:40):
And so where where are you going?
Speaker 3 (17:44):
I can't say it, but I will let you know
when I can, Okay.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
And when are you going to start your new job?
Speaker 3 (17:53):
I think I started in about a month.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
Really is it going to be national or local?
Speaker 7 (18:00):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (18:01):
Well, we'll see.
Speaker 4 (18:05):
Please, buddy.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
All right, So let's talk about your last night at Fox.
They did a nice tribute to you. I'm over there
all the guys and gals who I worked you for,
with you for so long, and they're very emotional that
you were leaving. You made a lot of good friends
over there.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
I feel really fortunate and and of course one of
the great friendships that I gained out of this job
and being able to do this.
Speaker 8 (18:27):
Is with you.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
And so there there are several image of you. There
are several images of you in our best of issue
is Show Tonight? Really and there are you know.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
Now, I'm interested, and.
Speaker 3 (18:43):
I am so honestly. I know we joke and we'd
bs and everything, but I am so so grateful to
you to help lift up our little show and to
h and this has been one of the great highlights
of my time, is just this time that we get.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
To you know, you're a very sweet man. You're very
very sweet guy. I've never seen you get really pissed.
Do you get really pissed over there?
Speaker 9 (19:08):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (19:08):
Sometimes? Yeah, I tried. I try to hold that back.
I have gotten in trouble with HR a few times, really,
and so now that now that I'm getting on the
way out, I guess I made it through what was
no Well, there was a time remember during COVID, when
like nobody was working in the studio, so I was
(19:31):
I was the only person. All the other anchors were gone.
I was the only person there. They got rid of
the floor directors, they got rid of like all the
hair and makeup, they got rid of everything. So I'm
in the studio by myself and the monitors aren't working,
and I didn't realize and are all sorts of technical problems.
So I said, uh, you know, f this and this
isn't worth And then I didn't realize that that was
(19:52):
on TV. That's great, everybody. General manager. Yeah, our general
manager at the time, who's no longer. Our general manager
was this very old school conservative guy from Kentucky who
you know, was very religious and all the rest of it.
And he was so offended that I would use that language.
(20:12):
And the thing I got reamed out in front of
the entire company. Oh wow, I changed the policy. I
had a strike against me. It was a whole thing. Wow,
that was me getting angry on the air.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
I like that side of you. Look that makes me,
That makes you more interesting.
Speaker 5 (20:26):
You know.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
Do you have that side?
Speaker 3 (20:28):
Yeah? For sure.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
Hey, so you used the whole effort. It went over
the air.
Speaker 3 (20:34):
Oh yeah, I think I may have used it twice.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
Wait do you still have it? I mean, do you
still have a copy of it.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
I don't I know, I don't even know.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
No, I don't doesn't exist him.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
I didn't want to get anywhere near that.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
Quickly they get rid of interesting stuff over there at Fox.
Speaker 3 (20:48):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's great.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
All right, So tonight when you leave that station, that's
probably gonna be emotional for you.
Speaker 3 (20:56):
It is, and only were taping the final issue is
I started you're up a little bit when talking about
the crew because you know, those are the people that
you love so much. And I'm sure you would you
know if you had to leave Bellio, you would start
crying right, Yes, yes.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
Yes, I do every night when I leave the station. Hey,
when when you leave, you're going to take two weeks
off and then start your new gig.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
It's about a month off a month okay?
Speaker 1 (21:24):
And will it be a big fanfare. They'll be like
Alex Michaelson lands A's so and so news at eleven
that kind of thing.
Speaker 3 (21:32):
Well, I mean, are you going to do that?
Speaker 6 (21:34):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (21:35):
I was counting on you to be my publicist on this.
Thanks helped me promote it.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
Hey, you know what I want to tell the audience
something that you tell me in private, that when when
you get recognized at the airport or at the beach,
or at a restaurant or the theater or whatever. Most
of the time they mentioned this the show all the time.
Speaker 3 (21:56):
How would that not be? I got people coming up
to me and they just say, ding dong with you,
And it's like a way of knowing that we're on
the same page. Like it's like when when I go
out and people, you know, the USC trojan. So I'll
go out sometimes and people will just come out to
me and they say fight on, which is their way
of saying, I know that you're a trojan all the
rest of it. And people come up to me and
(22:17):
they just say ding dong, meaning that they're part of
the team. And honestly, I was the moment that I
won my first Emmy for the Issue Is. I remember
I went to get the trophy. There's this person at
the table and I grab it and the person handing
with me says, ding dong with you.
Speaker 4 (22:34):
That's great, dude.
Speaker 1 (22:35):
I'm I'm gonna tell you quick story then we'll do
who's on the issue is? And I was at I
was at Low's about a year ago, and there was
a guy working at Low's and he looks at me
and he goes, ro right and and I and I
respond back to him, ding dong, And he looks at me.
He goes and he goes, what I go, you said
(22:55):
ding dong. I'm saying ding dong. Back he goes, No,
the guy behind you is Ron, And I said, hey Ron,
moment I had a few of those them. Yeah, all right,
So what's on the issue is tonight, we got.
Speaker 3 (23:14):
A very big show. So we're we're sitting down with
our two most frequent guests, Gavin Newsom and Gloria already,
and then we have messages from many of our previous guests,
so we hear from uh Kamala Harris and Arnold Schwarzenegger
and Jerry Brown and Alex Badilla and John Coebelt and
Tommy Larren and Bill Mlusion and all sorts of people
(23:36):
all over the political spectrum who are all part of
the show tonight. And then and then there's a tribute
to our crew, and we look back at the seven
and a half years and everything that's kind of happened
in politics in our world, and it's a it's a
really special show. We've been working really hard on it,
and it's kind of all the best of everything we've
(23:57):
done so got crazy. It's like my life's work.
Speaker 1 (24:00):
They give you an hour.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
It's a half hour, unfortunately, but I am going to
put out a longer version on YouTube.
Speaker 1 (24:09):
Yeah all right, buddy, I appreciate it. And when you are,
when you can say where you're going, please come on
the audience.
Speaker 5 (24:16):
Like to know.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
I would love to and I hope that you'll be
a part of the next thing. Oh you know it, buddy,
I'll just say that absolutely.
Speaker 1 (24:24):
Yeah, buddy, I really appreciate you coming on every week,
even though when you're out of town or whatever, you
always try to make time for us.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
Appreciate that, man.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
It is honestly one of the highlights of my week.
Speaker 9 (24:34):
You are.
Speaker 3 (24:35):
You're the man I know, and maybe that's bad about
my life.
Speaker 1 (24:38):
But yeah, it's more of a commentary on your crazy
ye all right, buddy, I appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
Man.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
Congratulations. I hope you're making more money.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
Too, Thank you, Thank you all Okay, all right, big talk.
Speaker 1 (24:57):
There he goes. Alex Michaelson is last night on Box
Night after seven and a half years.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
Well, whatever he's doing, I'm wondering why it prevents him
from still talking to you on Fridays. No, I don't
think it will. He's gonna keep going, I think so. Yeah, yeah,
I think it sounded like a goodbye to him here too. No, no, no,
he's no, we'll have none forever. Okay, but I know
where he's going, you do, Yeah, because somebody told me.
Speaker 1 (25:22):
Oh so it's out to some people. It's out to
some people. Yeah, but he won't tell me, and so
I don't want I don't feel like I should say it.
Speaker 5 (25:28):
On the air.
Speaker 1 (25:29):
But bomb, bomb bomb, I guess you could figure that out.
Speaker 6 (25:36):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
AM six forty.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
We're back baby, all right. Steph Fush has been a
major part of the news cycle for the last week,
actually the last eight days. That happened a week ago
yesterday and Mark Brown did a good piece also, KTLA
knocked it out again. KTLA has been out here three
times to follow the Steph Foosh story. If you're just
tuning him, just coming in from out of the country.
(26:03):
Stephan's gotten a radical accident. We could go yesterday around
two o'clock to fifteen, and he nearly died. If it
wasn't for good Smeritans. He would have burned to death
in his car. That's exactly what would have happened. So
we finally found him. We went searching near and far,
stopping at three address of his addresses. Finally found him
(26:25):
in a hospital eight hours after he got in a
car crash. He was listed under John Doe. His mom
didn't know where he was, Barbara, his dad, Ed didn't
know where he was. And it was a long, long
day trying to find this guy. And so KTLA thought
that was an interesting story. They came out with Rick Chambers,
and then Sandra Mitchell came out the next time, and
(26:46):
then Rick Chambers again last night. So if you missed it,
here's Rick Chambers story from last night on KTLA. Rick
Chambers is in Burbank with a story that's right.
Speaker 8 (26:57):
Well, Michaeh. That employee you're talking about, his name is Food,
or at least they call him out here. His coworkers
threw a party for two good Samaritans who without a doubt,
saved Fush's life.
Speaker 1 (27:10):
It is the Conway Shout.
Speaker 7 (27:11):
It was a week ago that KFI technical director Stephan
cabasos Or Fush was nearly burned to death. In this
fiery rollover crash on the one O five.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
I like never seen anything like that.
Speaker 7 (27:23):
Today, two of the good Samaritans who dragged Fush to safety,
Jonathan Garray and Kenyatti Hobby, came to KFI to meet
Fush's parents.
Speaker 1 (27:32):
Those are the people that saved your son's life.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
It was overwhelming.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
It sound like a carnival barker. You know, hey, stop,
take one step forward, your body naturally follow His knife
is so sharp. One tomato last y'all summer, a snake
oil salesman over guy's life. Those are the people that
saved your sons live.
Speaker 5 (27:55):
It was overwhelming gratitude.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
And remember when I did find out that he was
still alive.
Speaker 4 (28:03):
When I saw you guys, I just wanted a ball.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
I just wanted to start crying because you guys, that's
Stephoush's dad.
Speaker 4 (28:09):
When I saw you guys, I just wanted a ball.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
I just wanted to start crying because you guys gave
us something that I thought I would never have.
Speaker 4 (28:17):
And I'm just so appreciative of you guys.
Speaker 7 (28:19):
Foosh even called in from his hospital.
Speaker 5 (28:22):
Bet you guys are just absolute angel and I mean.
Speaker 7 (28:27):
It was just luck though that these two men who
were willing to stop and help, were even on the highway.
Speaker 1 (28:32):
Well, we rocked and rocked and rocked, and finally we
were able to get it onto its will.
Speaker 7 (28:36):
Ken Yette was coming from the airport when he came
upon the overturned car.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
I saw Steph Fusha upside down, and we kind of
locked the eyes a little bit, and I just had
to jump out of something.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
I couldn't leave that guy.
Speaker 4 (28:47):
I saw he was trapped.
Speaker 5 (28:48):
I couldn't just leave him in that car.
Speaker 7 (28:50):
I got Jonathan was on his way to work.
Speaker 9 (28:52):
We were able to open the door and then you know,
we got him out. We got into a safe distance,
and within a couple of minutes the vehicle was full
englfed in flames, and then a few minutes after that,
gas tank blue and the battery blue.
Speaker 7 (29:05):
Foush's arm got mangled in the wreck, but incredibly no
other serious injuries.
Speaker 5 (29:10):
I am honestly feeling much better. I have way less pain.
I'm able to walk on my own, and my mom
and dad have seen it. I'm doing a lot of stuff.
Speaker 7 (29:19):
On my own, thanks in part to these two men
who were willing to step up when they were needed
and Foush told us that he's going to have his
fourth surgery, probably another one after that, but he also
says he may be back.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
Home in a week or two. Wow, that would be great.
And then Mark Brown and Tim Over at at ABC
seven did a piece as well, what is your Oh wait,
that's the wrong audio. Hold on, wait a minute, let
me put some boom in.
Speaker 3 (29:49):
It here.
Speaker 1 (29:52):
If on the Conway Show, And what a big show
we have for today? A week ago, today, seven days.
Speaker 4 (29:59):
Ago, go today.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
Almost at this exact moment, Steph Wuche got into a
huge accident on the one oh five east bound to
the one ten north bound. His name is Stephan. He
has been with us for about four years or so,
and he's our technical director and producer. Steph Man, this
is gonna be quite a huge reunion that you're sort
of just on the phone for not here in person.
Speaker 5 (30:21):
I know, I'm kind of bummed out. I can't be there.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
Your dad Ed is here and do you thank you,
thank you very much. And we also have the people
that saved your life are here as well.
Speaker 9 (30:30):
I happened to be behind Stephan when he crashed, actually
just changed lanes. I look up and his cars in
the air and I watched it flip a couple of times.
Speaker 3 (30:38):
Wow, I see that there's a car on fire.
Speaker 7 (30:41):
And when stuff and helped us, God set these upside
down in the car, knocking in the car, and as
we rocked the car, more and more people came to
help us.
Speaker 1 (30:49):
Stephoo, you have not met these guys and the first
time you're having to talk to him. Anything you'd like
to say to these.
Speaker 5 (30:55):
Chaps, It was just my arm. It was a bad injury,
but it was just my arm. But like that wouldn't
be the case if it wasn't for you to eternal
gratefulness to both of you.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
Step if you're listening, we need you back here, so
mend that arm.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
Come on back.
Speaker 1 (31:08):
And even if I have to learn to use the
buttons with your right hand instead of your left hand.
Speaker 3 (31:13):
We need you.
Speaker 1 (31:14):
Ding Dong with you.
Speaker 4 (31:15):
Stefan ding Dong The Conway's Show.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
That's Mark Brown Noyce. Yeah, how about that? The anchor
of ABC gave us a dig dog.
Speaker 4 (31:24):
Ding Dong The Conways Show.
Speaker 6 (31:26):
A go Fundme page has been set up to help
Stefan the Foosh cut Bezo with his medical bills. You'll
find the link on our website ABC seven.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
Yeah, that's great man.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
By the way, did you notice at the very beginning
of the story the the dial turn radio sounds. Oh yeah, yeah,
it's like that's like for most kids now, they don't
know what that sound is. It's like a dial tone
for them because that everything's incredible now. Yeah right, it's
(31:55):
like anybody younger than I don't know for it going,
what's that noise?
Speaker 1 (32:01):
Yeah, well what is that? They have a crappy radio? Well,
all the radios were like that back then. Yeah, you
going station to station back in the day, and then
when you got further you had to keep adjusting it too,
you know, depending where you are, and keep it slowly
adjusting it to get that station in. Yeah, old school.
We are old school, and we admit it because it
was a lot more fun back then. It was good times.
(32:21):
