When our fire department in city was facing turmoil amidst

had to, but because he cared about the city and

the people we serve. After more than forty years of
giving his life to this work, he came out of retirement.
Speaker 4 (02:29):
To serve again.
Speaker 5 (02:30):
This guy comes out of the valley.
Speaker 6 (02:31):
Eternally grateful to Chief Via Nueva for what he's given
to our city. He is truly someone special, someone you
can count on when it matters the most. But with that,
I am honored to introduce our next Chief of the
Los Angeles Fire Department, Chief jime Moore.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
All right, Jamie or jimeymore. He comes out of the
San Fernando Valley. This guy finally got a chief out
of the valley.

that is needed. Increasing innovation, adoption of technology, and the
use of data to keep Los Angeles safe and to
(05:04):
the people of Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Fire Department
belongs to you. I know this last year has tested
all of us, but I know Angelinos are resilient and strong.
Speaker 5 (05:21):
Angeline.
Speaker 8 (05:21):
I see it every day on the job, and I
will lead with this same spirit as your next chief.

and the members of City Council to achieve these goals and.

Continue our efforts.
Speaker 4 (06:09):
Thank you. I am honored to serve all of you.
Speaker 8 (06:12):
Mayor Bass, thank you for once again appointing me as
fire chief. It is an honor to be appointed as
the next fire chief of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Speaker 5 (06:27):
And one last word, go Dodgers.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
A nailed it, go Dodgers, which is not one word.
All right, that's the new chief. Let's even take some questions.
Speaker 8 (06:38):
Break off into some questions. I'd like to be able
to say my same remarks in Spanish, so if you could,
some of you might want to bear off.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
Yeah, we're gonna bail, all right, So Hinds and Mayor
Bass and she goes yeah, yeah, She's like, we had
a rough year. And she's like, mm hmmm, you you
go you get him homeboy? You know, I think you
see did she say that or the other guy said
then the guy doing the somebody said get him home boy?
(07:09):
I think he was the guy that backed that said
that maybe somebody at the back of the news department,
but they got the new chief. Is it Jamie or
Himie more? Is he going by himI himI Moore? He's
in the valley, This guy, I don't know any think
about him, but I guess he's from the valley Jie. No,
(07:31):
it's I think it's Himie. I think he's went with
the himI.
Speaker 9 (07:35):
I think he I think it is Himie, but I
think he's also known as Jamie.
Speaker 5 (07:39):
Is that right?
Speaker 10 (07:39):
I've met him before. He's a great, great man.
Speaker 5 (07:41):
Is that right?
Speaker 3 (07:42):
Where'd you meet him at Sacksmith Avenue or one of
your high.
Speaker 10 (07:45):
End stories show?
Speaker 5 (07:48):
Yeah? Did I meet him? Yeah? Okay, how I like him?
Speaker 10 (07:53):
You really like him?
Speaker 1 (07:54):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (07:54):
Good him? What did I call him? Did I call
him Himie or Jamie?
Speaker 10 (07:59):
He wasn't a chief, but you knew he one day
would be?
Speaker 5 (08:03):
Oh I did?
Speaker 3 (08:03):
Yeah, that's foreshadowing that. Yeah. How many times we had
him on.
Speaker 10 (08:09):
A few over the years?
Speaker 5 (08:10):
Yeah, well why do we have? Mom?
Speaker 10 (08:12):
Was there fires?
Speaker 5 (08:14):
That sounds right?
Speaker 10 (08:16):
Sound about right?
Speaker 3 (08:17):
You know I didn't hear in his speech that he
said he's going to put fires.
Speaker 10 (08:20):
Out isn't that implied?
Speaker 5 (08:22):
Maybe?
Speaker 3 (08:23):
But I heard a lot of we got new we
want new equipment, we need uh you know, uh technology innovation.
But I never heard I never heard water on fire.
Maybe that's just givens.
Speaker 10 (08:35):
I think it is.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
Yeah, but I think in this city you got to
say that. You know, next time I got a big fire,
We're gonna throw a lot of water on that. I'm
gonna try to dump some water on that. Helicopters, planes boom,
We're gonna knock that out for you. Next question, are
you himI or Jamie?
Speaker 5 (08:48):
Ah Christ? Here we go, all right, I don't know
what does he go by? Belly when he was here?
What do you go by? Jamie or Himie?
Speaker 9 (08:55):
I feel like I knew him as Jamie Jamie, but
I will let me let me find out.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
Okay, the brand new police chief, his name is something
more right, either Heimi or Jamie Moore. And so we
got a new police chief, fire chief. We got a
new fire chief with the Los Angeles Fire Department. So
I guess we'll be working for him Kristin Crowley, the
ex fire chief, because she's a captain I think somewhere,
(09:23):
So that'll be interesting. See how that goes down anyway.
So that's going to be our brand new chief. We
have also Belly. I don't know if you know this,
but Alex Michaelson driving in state because.
Speaker 10 (09:37):
Fenn, I know, that's pretty cool.
Speaker 5 (09:38):
When does that start tonight or next week?
Speaker 10 (09:40):
It starts Monday?
Speaker 3 (09:41):
It does, and he's gonna come on with us to
I don't know, talk about it, to promote it. Promoted
that's a good yeah, okay, but he's gonna come on
to promote it and at four twenty. So let's take
a break and come back with Alex Michaelson. He left
Fox and now he went to CNN. He has a
brand new show starting on Monday. That's a big deal,
all right, do we'll have the Dodger update. Dodger game
(10:02):
starts in about forty five minutes. We'll have you updated
updates all night long from Toronto.
Speaker 11 (10:07):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
A six forty.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
Alex Michaelson is the brand new star over at CNN
and he's gonna have his own show between I think
nine pm and midnight on the West Coast and he
joins us.
Speaker 5 (10:22):
Alex, how you Bob ding Dong with you ding Dong.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
You know we we sort of miss having you on Friday,
sort of.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
I noticed you emphasize the sort of twice. Yeah, well,
I miss talking to you every Friday. I hope we
can more going forward.
Speaker 11 (10:43):
You got it.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
We're literally across the street. Our building is across the street.
I can see you from my win.
Speaker 5 (10:50):
Wait which street?
Speaker 3 (10:52):
Are you across from California? Or are you on the corner.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Lot on California? Oh?
Speaker 5 (10:59):
That's right, you're a You're literally across the street. We
literally I can see that building from where I am.
I can turn around and look at it.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
Okay, so that's pretty fancy. Are you going to move
to the neighborhood? Are you going to stay in you
know that ritzy West Hollywood or West LA area?
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Trying to figure that out, but I'm staying there for now.
Speaker 3 (11:20):
If you're committed to the job, you'd moved to the job.
I mean, that's what I do.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
Are you? Are you suggesting that I'm not committed to working.
Speaker 5 (11:28):
I didn't say that, you said it, but it's what
it's implied. I guess.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
Hey, we got ourselves a new fire chief out here
in Los Angeles. I know you're still in LA but
I'm pretending like you're national and it's uh, it's Jamie
Jamie Moore. Are you familiar with him?
Speaker 1 (11:44):
Known Jamie Moore for many years? You know, he spent
a lot of time working in public public information officer,
and so he's a he's a great guy who a
lot of foolks in the media are well acquainted with
and have always really enjoyed his professionalism and his kindness
over the years.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
Oh good, but you know he was introduced today as Heimiemore.
Are you And by the way, I'm changing this show
to the tim Oteo Conway, showing.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
My rate better in this market.
Speaker 5 (12:22):
Ding dong, dinga dong.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
Hey, So when your show starts Monday, right, you're working
with these people at CNN.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Charts Monday. Yeah, we're going to be on every night,
week nights from nine to eleven o'clock, and it's going
to be really fun. I mean they sort of said
to me, create the most fun show on cable news. Wow,
it's not going to feel like a lot of the
sort of everybody screaming together. It's it's really going to
be geared towards having more fun, more respectful conversations than
(12:52):
an opportunity to do some deep dives. And it's not
you know, we're going to do politics, and we're going
to certainly highlight stuff on the West Coast where the
only the West Coast based show in the time slot,
the only live show in the time slot. But it's
also a chance to do entertainment and sports and comedy
and tech and other things as well. And I'm really
(13:14):
excited about it. And to Night one, we've got We've
got Governor Gavin Newsom is coming in studio. We've got
Debate with Larry Elder and Gloria Allred, Anderson Cooper is
actually going to be in the building, happens to be,
so he's going to be part of our show. On
Monday night, we've got this big feature piece with Grot
Josh Grobin and the work that he's doing to help
(13:36):
LA kids in terms of after school arts programs and
lifting them up. On Night two, we're out with Arnold
Schwarzenegger at West Coast Customs here in Burbank, which has
you know, sort of that place which a lot of
people know from Pimp My Ride years ago that does
these cool custom cars. They now have an academy there
(13:57):
where they helped folks who have previously been convicted of
crimes and serve their time and are now out changed,
you know, restart their lives and give them second opportunities,
give them job skills, train them to work in this
field with people using their hands at a time when
we need more people working using their hands and respecting that.
(14:17):
It's an amazing program. Arnold Schwarzenegger brought his car there
and they they they customized it, and so we went
in there with him and profiled how it's like changing
people's lives.
Speaker 5 (14:27):
Did he really experience did he get the car back
when they were done?
Speaker 1 (14:33):
Yeah? Yeah, and so uh yeah, there you go. Okay,
I see what you're doing there. So we talk about
that though with the guy with the guys there about
you know, do you trust them? And he actually a
lot of them turned out to be better workers because
they really need the job and it's uh and they're
were dedicated to it. So you know, there's it's an
(14:55):
opportunity to do you know, all sorts of different kinds
of programming. And I hope that you'll soon join us
on the show, buddy.
Speaker 5 (15:03):
I would love to.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
I can't believe you're right across the street. That's really cool,
I know.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
I mean, it's just to make it easy for you
or so you literally have no excuse.
Speaker 5 (15:13):
I just saw you.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
Excuse buddy, I just saw you on on CNN literally
like five minutes ago, I think with Aaron Burnett.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
Yeah, I'm actually doing a live shot on that show and.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
Good.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
Yeah, we sat down with Pete Buddha judge here in
la He's part of our show, and so we've got
that coming up.
Speaker 3 (15:33):
Yeah, buddy, they're doing a great job promoting your show.
I mean you should be very proud of that.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
Look, I'm really excited and honored an email. I say
this not just to kiss up to you because I'm
on your show, but your support of me and of
the issue is all the stuff that we've been doing
over the years. I think it's really been crucial in
helping make all this happen. So really, this is because
of you.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
Okay, Buddy, let's act like real guy when you're on
the air, will you please?
Speaker 1 (16:03):
So she would just be honest and say it's because
of right books, because.
Speaker 5 (16:11):
Every time says you're on, I'm like, oh this guys,
let me ask you a question.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
How many guys are working on the show our gals too,
I guess you got guys ain't go.
Speaker 1 (16:24):
Well, uh, you know, I don't know. It's not a
huge it's not a huge staff. Honestly, don't you have
writers about? Like there's a yeah, I mean there's a
core team of like five or six people. Honestly, it's
it's uh, yeah, we we we are. We have the
smallest staff of any show at seeing that.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
Okay, but but you still got writers and people to
help you out.
Speaker 5 (16:44):
That's cool.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
Yeah, yeah, there's yeah exactly.
Speaker 5 (16:49):
Are you nervous about your first show.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
A little bit?
Speaker 5 (16:53):
Yeah you should be.
Speaker 3 (16:54):
Yeah, yeah, but listen, anytime you're doing any new thing,
any new thing, you want to impress everybody, and you
want to do it well.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
Right, and and it's it's good to be nervous, right,
I mean, it's good in a while to try something
new and feel that, feel that the jitters and all that.
Speaker 5 (17:12):
That's right.
Speaker 3 (17:12):
Bellio says she's nervous every time she sees me. So,
I mean that's you know.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
I think that's for different reasons.
Speaker 3 (17:19):
Okay, I get it, buddy, Look, I know we bust
your balls, but I really I couldn't be happy for you.
Nice guys finished first in your case, and I think
it's gonna be a huge hit for you, and I
think you'll be like the new Larry King over there,
but without the you know, the mundane, repetitive questions. Hey,
why don't you try out one of Larry King's lines
(17:41):
like are you?
Speaker 5 (17:43):
Are you? Like, let me ask you something.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
Why don't you try out a Larry King line on
Arnold Schwarzenegger. Okay, are you a governor who's an actor
or an actor who's a governor?
Speaker 1 (17:56):
I think it was more questions like Al Gore, and
then when he ran out of stuff, When he ran
out of stuff, he'd just go to the callers because
like I'm out of material at Anuga.
Speaker 5 (18:10):
Hello too, Hey, buddy, you know you're you? You have
for years, you have Larry King slot Larry King when
he started on CNN with.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
Larry Slott Larry King Slott and the first LA based
show since Larry King. Wow, which is also kind of
crazy as well. I mean, we're giving Larry King a
hard time, but clearly he attracted a huge audience years
and was a broadcasting icon, and so there's a lot
to love about Larry King, but I think it would
(18:40):
be cool, honestly to recreate some of what he had,
which was a like a fun place to hang out
and to learn about people in a different more relaxed
from that than you see all day long, because that's
so much of cable I think is so performative and
so predictable, and I think it would be more fun
to have a place that feels more like your Oh
frankly a lot of what you see on cable all day.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
I appreciate it, buddy, I can't wait. I hope you
have huge ratings. We're going to promote the hell out
of it.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
Thank you.
Speaker 5 (19:09):
What's the what's the social media for that? For that show?
Speaker 1 (19:16):
They honestly haven't gotten to that yet.
Speaker 5 (19:18):
Okay, well, don't worry about That's not a big deal.
Speaker 1 (19:21):
Follow me on social media, Michael. Okay, they're launching they're
launching the CNN streaming product the day after our lunch.
They're much more focused on that.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
By the way, I think in six months you're going
to say that a lot. They're much more focused on this, Bud.
Speaker 5 (19:42):
You're the best.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
I got you to that, so that's why we're at
your place.
Speaker 5 (19:48):
Thanks for coming on. I wish you the best success.
We're going to promote the hell out of it for you.
Speaker 4 (19:51):
Buddy, Thank you, I love you.
Speaker 5 (19:55):
I think all right, there he goes.
Speaker 3 (19:57):
Alex Michael said, that guy's great brand news over at CNN.
Speaker 5 (20:01):
We've got to see what that looks like. Got to
see what that looks like. That's gonna be great.
Speaker 11 (20:06):
You're listening to Tim conwayjun you're on demand from KFI
AM sixty.
Speaker 3 (20:11):
Bell Are just yelled at something at me and I said,
I didn't have it. I found it, So we're good
to go. I am doing today's show under protest. Yesterday
I went to the doctor and I got a flu
shot and I feel like I am going to die duty.
Speaker 10 (20:30):
Yeah, the day look your best. I'm gonna be honest. Yeah,
I appreciate that look a little washed out.
Speaker 5 (20:34):
Yeah, Oh I am well.
Speaker 3 (20:36):
I had a flu shot and then they put me
on blood pre pressure medication, cholesterol medication. They took five
vials of blood and it's a lot.
Speaker 5 (20:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (20:45):
I think it was for some kind of Halloween decoration.
They were going to you know, spray at the office
or something.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
This.
Speaker 5 (20:51):
Yeah, but man, there's a lot.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
Just she kept going and going and going. I'm like, God, Almighty,
shut this tap off.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
Here.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
But I'm just trying to stay alive, you know, as
long as I can. And I don't tell anybody you
get the flu shot anymore. I used to be a
big proponent event. I used to tell everybody, get your
flu shot, you heathens, you got to get your flu shot.
Now I just get mine. I shut the f up.
If you want yours, great, If you don't, I could
give a redsass. And I understand why you don't, you know,
because you just don't trust what's in that vial.
Speaker 5 (21:23):
I get it. I get it.
Speaker 3 (21:25):
But the lady yesterday at my doctor, she was very nice,
the nurse. She goes, hey, why you want a flu shot.
I'm like, yeah, not really, and she was sort of like, okay,
well maybe she got one before.
Speaker 5 (21:35):
And I said, oh, I give.
Speaker 3 (21:36):
Me one, you know, but the hell, just put everything
in me, just you know, load me up here, what
the hell? And now I'll probably forget that I had
it and get another one, like at Sears. I got
my flu shot one year at Sears.
Speaker 5 (21:52):
Yeah, where America gets shots.
Speaker 10 (21:54):
And then you had your portrait taken.
Speaker 3 (21:57):
Yeah, right, that's exactly right, Yeah, with my daughter and
my wife. We'd dressed up as old old Victorian clothing.
Speaker 4 (22:06):
He was Kine Craftsman.
Speaker 5 (22:07):
It was nice. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
You know they sold Craftsmen to Low's. You know Low's
owns Craftsmen now, so if you still like Craftsmen tools,
which are great tools, you can buy them with Lows.
All right, there's an Ontario suspect. The guy that was
driving that truck that wiped everybody out, killed three people.
He pled not guilty to this catastrophe on the freeway.
Speaker 7 (22:31):
Here can tell you this.
Speaker 12 (22:31):
Singh was able to obtain his commercial driver's license through
both state and federal processes that were in place at
the time for him to do so. Those processes though
changed on a federal level back on September twenty sixth,
just about a month ago, and it was then that
he was able to obtain a credible, valid driver's license.
But now he stands accused of course of manslaughter while
(22:52):
driving intoxicated.
Speaker 7 (22:54):
Shackled and wearing an orange chilled jumpsuit.
Speaker 12 (22:56):
Twenty one year old Joshin Preet Singh appeared in a
Ranch of Ukcamonga courtroom to face charges of vehicular manslaughter
while intoxicated and driving under the influence, causing injury.
Speaker 7 (23:08):
Dash can video shows the horrifying moment.
Speaker 12 (23:11):
Investigators say Singh, behind the wheel of a freightliner truck,
plowed through several stopped cars, killing three people. In court,
Seining pled not guilty through his public defender with an
interpreter by his side. Now, federal officials say this tragedy
never should have happened. The Department of Transportation released what
it is calling a quote bombshell report accusing California of
(23:34):
violating federal law by allowing Singh to continue driving when
he should have been disqualified. The report says that the
state failed to enforce an emergency rule issued in September
one that tightened license requirements for all non US citizens.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
Okay, if the federal rule, the federal law was you
have to speak English and you have to be a
citizen to drive these big trucks, and this guy got
a California license, which which defies public law or i'm sorry,
national federal law. Then if I were that family that
got killed, I would sue the State of California over that.
(24:13):
And I'll bet you there's going to be a major,
major lawsuit, major lawsuit from that family, that poor family.
It was a couple and they got they got killed
and another there was three total people that got killed.
They should turn around, get yourself a great lawyer and
sue the state. Sue the pants off the state of California,
(24:37):
because if the California State of California, if they observed
the federal law, then those three people would be alive today,
alive and continuing on with their lives.
Speaker 12 (24:46):
In June, California issued Singh, who is an asylum seeker,
a restricted non domicile commercial driver's license with a K
restriction limiting driving to in state.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
Then in September, okay, they had to limit his driving
in state because federally he's breaking the law. So if
he drives to Nevada, Arizona, Montana, think they could arrest
him because California, I think, is one of the only
states that allows this kind of crap, So this could
have been prevented.
Speaker 7 (25:16):
Limiting driving to in state.
Speaker 12 (25:18):
Then in September, the federal government paused all issuances of
non domicile CDLs. In October, Singh turned twenty one and
his cave restriction was removed, which DOT officials say if
California had followed the new rule, sings license would have
been denied.
Speaker 5 (25:35):
That's right, that's right.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
That's why you got to sue the State of California,
because California killed those people. The State of California and
the driver killed those people.
Speaker 12 (25:45):
Singh's license would have been denied because of his status
as an asylum seeker. Governor Gavin Newsom's office pushing back
on those claims in a statement saying, the federal government
approved and renewed this individual's federal employment authorization multiple times,
which allowed him to obtain a commercial driver's license in
accordance with federal law. According to the California State Department
(26:06):
of Transportation, Singh was issued a federal work permit authorized
until the year twenty thirty, but a mere four months
after receiving his CDL to operate a semi regards sing
could be facing years behind bars now. The Department of
Transportation is threatening to withhold nearly forty million dollars in
funding for California if the state does not start complying
(26:28):
with some of those new rules that have been put.
Speaker 7 (26:29):
In place since September.
Speaker 12 (26:31):
Meanwhile, sing will be back in court here on November fourth,
reporting in Rancho.
Speaker 7 (26:35):
Cucamonga with USA.
Speaker 12 (26:36):
What is ABC seven Eyewitness News?
Speaker 5 (26:38):
What a mess? What a mess? What a mess?
Speaker 3 (26:40):
Those poor people, you know, just driving mind their own business.
One was a coach and they're not with us anymore
because some rules were not followed.
Speaker 5 (26:51):
It's frustrating, how bet it is.
Speaker 11 (26:54):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
AM six forty.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
Are coming up in a little over ten minutes or so,
and so we're gonna have World Series reports all day long.
I noticed that KTLA sent three people up there to
report to Toronto. They send three people Spilman, Chip Yeos,
and there's some other cat that went.
Speaker 4 (27:17):
Yeah, Pingham or something like that.
Speaker 5 (27:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (27:20):
I don't know who that guy is, but I mean
it must feel like uberant.
Speaker 5 (27:24):
It must feel like they're like like they're in college again.
You're like high school.
Speaker 13 (27:27):
I I, you know, being here during the day and
I got it on KTLA and I see it offside,
and they keep going out there to those three guys
and they're they're all hanging out with each other, arms
around each other, the big laughs. I'm like, there's no
work going on, but I mean, it's a world series.
But it's just a weird dynamics seeing all three of
those guys out there hanging out.
Speaker 5 (27:42):
Yeah, it's smart for them to do that, you know,
throw money at it.
Speaker 4 (27:45):
It gives a total cool.
Speaker 5 (27:47):
Energy to it, exactly.
Speaker 4 (27:49):
It really makes it feel like, hey, we're in the
World Series.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
Yeah, and they didn't and they didn't go cheaply and
just send one guy three guys. It's expensive to do that,
you know, because they're all flying at last minute.
Speaker 5 (27:58):
You know, they didn't know that Toronto is going to be.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
Into the World Series until last week and so they
had to buy plane tickets and then three hotel rooms.
And hotel rooms are at a premium up there. Yeah,
you know, all the Canadians flying off from all over
Canada want to go to this game. And even Rick
Monday is you know or not Rick Monday, but you
know all the announcers, you know, they all have to
have rooms, All the families have to have rooms, the
(28:23):
players have to have rooms. And I bet, I bet
it's tough to get a room in Toronto right now,
you know, the Toronto Stadium. I spent a year up there,
worked on a show called Boogie's Diner. Sorry, anybody anybody, anybody, No, Okay,
it's spent six months, eight months up there working on
a show called Boogies Diner.
Speaker 5 (28:42):
And it's a beautiful city. It's immaculate.
Speaker 4 (28:44):
How LONGO was that?
Speaker 5 (28:46):
Nineteen ninety five?
Speaker 3 (28:48):
And you know that's what thirty years ago right now,
mighty And back then it was spotless, you know, so
I can't imagine what it's like now. But that stadium
where the Blue Jays play has a hotel in the
stadium and you can I think it's nine thousand dollars
for a suite. You get a bedroom and a living
room and a kitchen at whatever, and you and you're
(29:10):
looking at the game. It's right above the outfield fence,
and there's a bar that you can go to that
overlooks the stadium. There's glass that overlooks the stadium and
you can sit. The bar costs two hundred bucks for
a person, and you got to buy fifty dollars worth
of booze or food. And so for a thousand dollars
you can have a table there and get food service
and watch the game.
Speaker 4 (29:29):
Rooms go for nine gram in the in the stadium there.
Speaker 5 (29:32):
Nine thousand dollars.
Speaker 13 (29:32):
Yeah, I was remember I don't know if it's when
it first opened up, but especially when they were a
better team in the nineties and such that there was
always the video of people that would rent the room
during games and have sex with the blinds open for
those windows.
Speaker 5 (29:46):
There's a lot of that video out there, you know,
guys going for it in life.
Speaker 4 (29:50):
It's like, wow, all right, yeah.
Speaker 5 (29:52):
Man, how much stimulation do you need?
Speaker 4 (29:54):
Right? And it's not like they can't figure out which
room you're in, right.
Speaker 3 (29:57):
Yeah, exactly. And it's not like, you know, there's models
doing it either. Ye, you know, it's like God Christ Almighty. Okay,
I just saw him at the.
Speaker 5 (30:08):
C N Tower.
Speaker 4 (30:08):
That is a foul balls.
Speaker 3 (30:10):
Yeah, this is a Timmy Horton's fan up there. Error,
they're both Timmy Horton's fans up there. Looks like it's
a lot of Wait. So they're doing the national anthem. Okay,
Belly wants me to read the order of the national
anthems that they're doing up there.
Speaker 5 (30:29):
Oh, that's right, they got quite a few of them.
Speaker 3 (30:31):
They're doing the Black national anthem, followed by Canadian National anthem,
and then the US National anthem, and then Hispanic National anthem.
Asian National Anthem, Native America, Native Canadian National Anthem, Irish
national anthem, they were doing Black Irish National Anthem. They're
also doing the Lake Erie National anthem, not heard of that,
Chatham National Anthem, blenham Aero National Anthem. Then they're doing
(30:55):
South windsor East windsor Afro Canadian, Mexican Canadian national Anthem.
Then they're doing the New India Delhi National Anthem, followed
by the Southeast Hamilton National Anthem and the Native Mississaugan National.
Speaker 5 (31:12):
Anthem, all sung by the same person. Oh, the same group.
Speaker 3 (31:14):
Yeah, they're doing the all runs so they do what.
Speaker 10 (31:20):
Are they doing? The Angelino National Anthem?
Speaker 3 (31:22):
When they get here, they will they'll pop that out
the Angelinos. You know, uh, disappointed to hear how many
people in public policy and in creating public policy for
us here use that stupid term Angelino's Angelino's. Nobody outside
of Karen Bass and now Haimi Moore use that term Angelinos.
(31:46):
Got al mighty, It's just so sick, you know, nobody
uses it except those two people. I have not heard
anybody else use that or have We got to take
a break. When we come back, we will have a
quick update with our buddy Tim Kates. He's the Dodger guy,
so we'll get a preview of what's going on for
the Dodger game. And they're in the middle of the
Canadian national anthem right now, so they got fifteen more
(32:08):
national anthems. Then it's playball, alright. We're live on KFI
AM six forty.
Speaker 2 (32:13):
