Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's KFI Am sixty and you're listening to the Conway
Show on demand on the iHeartRadio app. With all the
other news going on, we there's still you know, with
all the immigration going on, with you know, the you know,

(00:20):
the NBA had just finished, the NHL just finished. We've
got the NBA Draft going on. We've got the guy
I was shooting at the cops in Santa Monica. We
had the riots for the last couple of weeks. A
lot going on in La to you know, Iran, Israel,
the whole run. But there's still other news going happening
here in southern California. There's a train crash involving Metrolink

(00:42):
and a semi truck in Newport. I mean, I'm sorry,
more Park, and I know we have a huge audience
that lives out in the Semi Valley moor Park.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Area in near moor Park, where a CHP says a
train collided with a vehicle. This appears to be a
Metrolink train and initial reports said that this was a
semi It evolved and this was deadly. This is near
the one eighteen emergency personnel on scene. This happened within
the last hour. All still developing there. You could see

(01:10):
now in frame the other portion, the trailer portion of
that semi man.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
You know, that would have been major breaking news if
it was just a normal day. But because there's so
many other things going on, you know, we're not hearing
about other stories outside of the you know, the big
ones that are grabbing all the headlines. There is an
infant left in a car. We're getting into the no
no season.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
When you do that.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Can't leave the infants in the car when it's eighty
five ninety degrees out. That car heats up very quickly.
And you'll never get over that. If anything happens to
your lovely daughter or son and you left them in
a car and either they got sick or God forbid
they die, you're never going to get over that ever.

(01:54):
And I it happens every single summer. Every summer. Parents
are distracted and they leave their kids in the car.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Every year. It happened.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
An important reminder from Corona Police, especially as our temperatures
heat up, don't leave your kids alone in the car.

Speaker 5 (02:10):
Officers say they got.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
A call last week about a baby left in a car.
When they arrived, the engine was off, the windows were up,
and the baby appeared to be in distress. Officers broke
a window to get him out. They say internal temperature
of that car was one hundred and ten degrees.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Oh my god, just baking that baby. One hundred and
ten degrees. That is crazy, all right.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
A shark crashed a bachelorette party. Going out with the shop.
The bachelorette party on a boat.

Speaker 6 (02:41):
The bride to be and her bachelorettes are having a
great time. Suddenly an uninvited guest shows up.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
That is the biggest shock I've ever seen.

Speaker 6 (02:50):
Oh my god. Everyone is stunned as the monster swims
alongside the boat.

Speaker 7 (02:56):
The bride to be freaks out.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Memories of watching the breaks out. She just said, Oh
my god.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
The bride to be she went, oh my god, that's
not freaking out.

Speaker 7 (03:08):
The bride to be freaks out.

Speaker 6 (03:10):
Memories of watching the movie Jaws come flooding back, particularly.

Speaker 8 (03:14):
That famous scene.

Speaker 9 (03:16):
You're going to need potion.

Speaker 8 (03:18):
She huddles in the back of the boat. She can't
even look.

Speaker 10 (03:21):
I am always thinking about sharks in the ocean, no
matter what we're doing, Like, that's just one of my fears.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Yeah, everybody has that, sweety, You're not alone. Don't sell
it like it's your own and your original and you're
the only one.

Speaker 9 (03:35):
That has that.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Everybody out of the three hundred and thirty million people
live in America, three hundred and thirty million people have
that fear.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
So let's not sell it like you've come up with
this on your own. You did.

Speaker 10 (03:45):
I am always thinking about sharks everybody ocean, no matter
what we're doing, Like, that's just one of my fears.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Everybody has it, everybody, everybody.

Speaker 6 (03:53):
I spoke to Morgan Irons and her bridesmaid Goldbie Taylor today.

Speaker 10 (03:57):
It was about twenty five feet or so and we
were like almost over top of it.

Speaker 8 (04:03):
Twenty five feet. That's a huge shark.

Speaker 10 (04:06):
Yes, it was humongous. There really is such an amazing
thing to see that up close.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
By the way, my guess is that it was probably
not twenty five feet. Twenty five foot shark would probably
be a record breaker, So it may look like it's
twenty five feet, probably closer to ten maybe twelve. Twenty
five feet is two and a half stories tall. That
would set a lot of records.

Speaker 5 (04:30):
Close, so I just had to add thirty feet.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
She might as well just set a mill like an
infinity like it just never stopped. You know, twenty five
foot shark come on close.

Speaker 6 (04:42):
So I just had to ask this bride to be,
who's about to say?

Speaker 8 (04:45):
I do if she fears sharks?

Speaker 11 (04:47):
I do?

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Oh my god, Yeah, that's what that's freaking out to them?
Oh my god, Oh my god. You know, that guy's
in for a great life. If that's the level of
freak out that his wife is going to have, that's
gonna be a nice life. That's gonna be great, very calm.
That's what you need in life. The Olsen Twins, Bellio's

(05:08):
favorite are back in the news.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
The Olsen Twins. Yeah? Is that Mary Kate and Ashley?
Is that those the twins.

Speaker 5 (05:17):
Refer to the Olsen twin? Expert?

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Is that Kiki?

Speaker 5 (05:20):
It's Richie?

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Oh Richie? Who are the Olsen Twins? Is that? Is
that right? Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen and Ashley Olsa?
Have you ever met them? I did?

Speaker 12 (05:30):
Where it was at Borders in two thousand and eight.
I made my parents drive all the way from Palmdale
to Borders for a book signing.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
Wait you will left Palmdale? You went where to Borders
in Westwood? Wow? Yeah?

Speaker 12 (05:42):
I told them, I had a job interview at Borders
and they're like, it was like a whole thing. But anyway,
I got my book signed and I've been obsessed ever since.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Did were your parents did? Did they ever find out
that you were lying to them? Absolutely?

Speaker 12 (05:55):
Because I made them go to Westwood around like seven
in the morning so I can get a risk to
guarantee a book to get signed.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
How old were you part? Like sixteen?

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Wow?

Speaker 9 (06:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (06:06):
But anyway, yeah, so it was late bloomer. Yeah, a
little sixteen year old into the Olsen Hey, they were
a cue back then, Okay.

Speaker 6 (06:17):
Tia Mawory reflects on her time babysitting Mary Kate and
Ashley Olsit all right.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
This is the babysitter of Mary Kate and Ashland Ashland
Ashley as the.

Speaker 6 (06:28):
Sister Sister Love, details her life as a childhood star
in a Hartfield post on Instagram June twenty third, sharing in.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
The post, that's a pretty cool brag you babysat the
Olsen twins.

Speaker 6 (06:38):
Sharing in the post dedicated to her and her twin
sister Tamara's beloved show, Sister Sister, Tia reveals some lesser
known facts about the start of their career, including how
they would babysit the Olsen Twins. She wrote, it all
started on the set of Full House. My brother Taj
was cast as Teddy, and since my moms didn't have
a sitter, she brought me and Tamara with her. We

(06:58):
would sit in the audience while they filmed. Before continuing.
They had his babysit Mary, Kate and Ashley on set.
The crew would have us play with Mary, Kate and
Ashley between takes. Everyone thought it was the cutest thing,
twin girls watching over twin girls.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Ah, that is kind of cute.

Speaker 6 (07:14):
Twin girls watching over twin girls. Although she confessed they
originally went into entertainment expecting to work in music, not acting,
she continued, we started out singing and dancing. Tamar and
I were in a girl group called Voices, and we
danced for EMC.

Speaker 9 (07:28):
Hammer.

Speaker 8 (07:29):
We thought music was our path.

Speaker 6 (07:30):
Then a woman named SUZANNEA Pass, who discovered the Jackson
five changed everything. Sooner or later to Pass introduced them
to Kim Back, who.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Cares, all right, let's do a whip around. What do
you think the Olsen Twins net Worth are combined?

Speaker 5 (07:45):
Richie know this to the Penny No I'm not gonna.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
Tell you this.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
We'll go with Richie last. Do you do you know
Stefush I don't know. I'm sure, but he's gonna know. Oh, okay,
he'll go last. All right, let's crank the whip music
and start with staff. What are the Olsen twins worth?

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Networth? One hundred million, one hundred million? All right? How
about Kiki d.

Speaker 5 (08:10):
Five hundred million, five.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
Hundred and we have to stop the whip around. Kiki
nailed it?

Speaker 9 (08:18):
What really?

Speaker 8 (08:20):
My guess?

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Five one hundred million dollars? Wow, two hundred and fifty each.

Speaker 5 (08:28):
I thought it was around a billion.

Speaker 12 (08:30):
Oh that was their company before they bought out their partners,
the company was worth over one bill and then now
they're focused on their row, their clothing line, which has
ranked in about one hundred MILI just this past year.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
But yes, it's two fifty million each. How old are
they now? And then they're thirty nine?

Speaker 5 (08:49):
They're thirty nine?

Speaker 1 (08:50):
Yes, they're really thirty nine already. Huh yep, they're born
in the eight eighty six. Man, How you know a
lot about these twins?

Speaker 10 (08:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (08:58):
I also know they're social.

Speaker 5 (08:59):
Oh my, he's a picture of them on his phone.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
Just Mary Kate though not Ashley. She has a kid?
What wait? But they which one has a kid?

Speaker 12 (09:08):
The older sister by three minutes. Ashley Olsen she had
a kid, like two three years ago, but no one
knew about it because she kept it so hush hush.
And you know they wear like oversized clothing, so you
know she did it pretty well.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
Didn't They go through a thin stage? Yeah, Mary Kate,
she suffered from an ed back, you know, for.

Speaker 7 (09:28):
I think they're still in it.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
Wait, they're still in the ed They might be.

Speaker 7 (09:32):
They're very very thin.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (09:34):
I think everyone knows. The superior Olsen is Elizabeth Olsen.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
She is She is hot. Yeah. Who's Elizabeth?

Speaker 7 (09:41):
The younger sister, yes, Wanda from the Marvel You know
there's three of them, Yeah, there's four, I think.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
Yeah. They have an older brother, Trent. Wow. What does
he do? Is he homeless? I don't know. He's somewhere
in film man.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
What a family. Everyone's successful, Everyone made money. Everyone went
out there and the and made it.

Speaker 7 (10:00):
From one TV show in the late eighties early nineties
spurned literally a lifetime of Oh yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
I Conversely, my brother called my sister he was stuck
in Las Vegas and needed bus fair to get home,
and she's like, I, you know, I've helped you out
a lot, you know, can't you, you know, call somebody
else in the family and he said, f everyone in

(10:28):
my family. Nobody in my family has made anyfing money
and hung up.

Speaker 8 (10:33):
I thought that's rude.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
So he told everyone to off. Yes, he told everyone
to f off, but but he included everybody. He said,
nobody in those famili has done anything successful.

Speaker 5 (10:42):
He's calling you all out, yes, from.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
The bus stop in Vegas.

Speaker 5 (10:48):
Ironic.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
It is so insulting. It's you know, insulting.

Speaker 5 (10:54):
Well, if you had done something better with your life,
maybe stop.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
I mean I couldn't write exactly.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
Yeah, part of it has to be on him, right, Yeah,
he's at a bus stop in Vegas calling me, you know,
a loser that it is so rich. Yeah, this thing
family ever made me money? F all of them from
a bus stop.

Speaker 5 (11:17):
It's my favorite.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
From a Vegas bus stop.

Speaker 5 (11:23):
That's awesome.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
And if you know Vegas bus stop, they're filled with winners.
They're all there at the Vegas bus stops.

Speaker 13 (11:31):

Speaker 3 (11:38):
All right, Brad pitt.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
Is in the news AA saved this man's life. He
details how Alcoholics Anonymous saved his life.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Pretty good endorsement there.

Speaker 14 (11:53):
Brad Pitt is opening up about his sobriety journey during
the recent episode of Dax Shepherd's Armchair Expert pod cast,
The Ocean eleven alum revealed how quote amazing Alcoholics Anonymous
was for him after Angelina Joe Lee filed for divorce
in twenty sixteen.

Speaker 9 (12:10):
It was a men's group. It was AA.

Speaker 15 (12:12):
It was when I first was getting sober, and I

their experiences, their their foibles, their missteps, their wants, their
their aches and.

Speaker 1 (12:27):

and I was really open to I was trying anything
and everyone anything anyone throw at me. It was in
particular difficult time. I needed rebooting. I needed to wake
up in some areas, and it meant it just meant
a lot to me. So yeah, the first is, oh

(13:12):
my god, it's coming around. You know, it's kind of
getting closer.

Speaker 9 (13:15):
It's going to be yours. But everyone was so open.
It's contagious, it is.

Speaker 15 (13:20):
It gives you permission in a way to go, Okay,
I'm going to step out on this edge and see
what happens.

Speaker 9 (13:26):
And then I really, you know, I just really grew
to love it.

Speaker 14 (13:29):
And while being a celebrity did add some concerns, especially
with the possibility that someone would divulge his admissions, Brad
didn't shy away from his problems.

owning up to it.

So the big F one race.

Speaker 3 (14:25):

Speaker 7 (14:27):
It's really good, all.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
Right, but this guy's celebraties great.

Speaker 9 (14:29):
Yeah, you know what do I do with this? You know?

Speaker 15 (14:31):
How how how can I write this and and yeah
and make sure it doesn't happen again?

Speaker 8 (14:36):
Or just yeah, be better?

Speaker 9 (14:38):
Yeah, be better? Yeah, be better?

Speaker 8 (14:40):
Step up? Yeah and yeah.

Speaker 15 (14:44):
So I was really open to that, and I was
really open to see what these guys were doing who
had their thing and been there for a while.

Speaker 8 (14:49):
Sure.

Speaker 9 (14:50):
I was a bit, yeah, a bit shy, I'm.

Speaker 8 (14:52):
A yeah, I'm yeah.

Speaker 15 (14:55):
Yeah, generally be a bit shy in any kind of
situation first, but I don't know at all.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
She left the Yeah, now she's going that's a condescending
that that mm hmm.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
That's so great. That's so rude.

Speaker 1 (15:10):

That's what they mean by that's what they mean by
by yes.

Speaker 8 (15:31):

Speaker 9 (15:39):
I was a bit, yeah, a bit shy.

Speaker 14 (15:58):
The fight clips are in mid that he began attending
the meetings Yeah for an altercation with Angelina over his
drinking while on board a private plane. As he explained
to The New York Times in twenty nineteen, I had
taken things as far as I could take it, so
I removed my drinking privileges.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
Very good.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
I'm glad he got sober. That's great. I think that's
a big deal for him. All Right, we have a
promo here, wa, Yeah, we can play real quick. This
is a I got a.

Speaker 9 (16:32):
Let me see, it's not bloading here.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
Come back, but I got a text from Shannon Farren
saying that promo you ran today is gold. And I've
known Shannon for fifteen years and she's never sent me
a text saying that promo is great. And so I
wondered what promo she was talking about. Stephus founded and
we're going to play it when we come back. This

(16:55):
is an important time in this show. It's the first
time that Shannon Farren has ever said we've done anything interesting.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
That's big doing it's a huge deal.

Speaker 7 (17:07):
That's a big deal.

Speaker 3 (17:08):

Speaker 13 (17:17):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. You're listening to
Tim Conway Junior on demand from kf I Am six forty.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
This is the first time Shannon Farron has ever said
she enjoyed anything on our program. It was a a
promo that Clay did, and I got a text from
Shannon Farren said, Hey, that promo on tattoos is gold,
and so I said, I I hadn't heard it. I

(17:49):
text Clay, who does all our promos. He's the greatest
promo guy in the world. And I said, Hey, can
you send me that that tattoo promo I, Shannon Farren said,
is great? And he says, Tim, I'm hiking, I'm on vacation.
I said, oh, I didn't know. You know, no reason
to get upset at me. I didn't know. And then

(18:09):
I had Steph Fuosh to found find it, and Steph
Fush found it immediately. So here it is the first
time and the only time Shannon Farren said that we
even exist, let alone, we did anything interesting. Everybody ready,
you ready, Brooker, ready, Angel you all set? Yeah, Ellio,

(18:31):

Do you have tattoos?

Speaker 3 (18:44):
I've got one.

Speaker 8 (18:45):
Where is it?

Speaker 1 (18:46):
It's right above my tookus. It's a picture of Santa.
He's climbing out of my pants. Tim Conway and then
in the bubble above him, like what he's saying, wrong,
Chimney this afternoon at four on Kyfi, stimulating talk. You
know what's funny, It's it's true. It's true star, true star.

(19:07):

Speaker 7 (19:20):
I watch it and I love it.

Speaker 3 (19:23):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (19:23):
It is a series that started on YouTube, but now
it's on Netflix, and it expands on the world of
the Karate Kid, picking up sort of thirty years ago.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
It was Cobra Kai on Karate Kid.

Speaker 7 (19:35):
Cobra Kai was the older guy, was the the older
guy was the sense there of the bad guys. The
Cobra Kai were the bad guys that were up against
Ralph Macchio's character.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
I had never seen that movie.

Speaker 7 (19:46):
Danny LaRusso Karate Kid, Yes, Karate Kid. He Danny LaRusso.
Daniel LaRusso was the karate Kid.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
See, I was too busy. I had a fetish. I
had a real I had a real fettish. Yeah, I
had a real bad jones. At that point, I would
take steal my parents' credit cards and go to all
the new Kids on the Block shows.

Speaker 3 (20:08):
Oh yeah, I was really into it for a little while.

Speaker 7 (20:10):
I mean, I don't blame you. I would too.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
You know, they're back together, They're going to do a
residency in Vegas.

Speaker 7 (20:15):
I've seen them when they played here at the Stable Center,
and my little gen X heart was like squealing on
the inside.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
It was so good.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
Yeah, it's it's one of my guilty pleasures. I don't
like to talk about it, and I'm not going to
talk about it much.

Speaker 7 (20:30):

Speaker 3 (20:33):
That in nine O two one oh were my guilty pleasures.

Speaker 7 (20:37):
Team Donnie. I was Donnie, even though he had that
rat tail kind of hanging that hair.

Speaker 3 (20:41):
He's taking care of it. That's over.

Speaker 7 (20:43):
That was my guy.

Speaker 3 (20:44):
All right. Cobra Kai.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
I know, Bellio, you're a big fan of Cobra Kai.

Speaker 3 (20:50):

Speaker 3 (20:53):
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
But she said to play this, and I ask me,
I say, you're a big fan of Cobra Kai. Yeah,
and you must have been like twelve when that movie
came out.

Speaker 5 (21:05):
I was ten.

Speaker 8 (21:07):
Ten.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
Wow, you're young, thank.

Speaker 5 (21:10):
You, And I was eight.

Speaker 3 (21:14):

Speaker 3 (21:29):
Yeah, everyone's taking ahead.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
It's fire and look even Kiki is going around scaring
the hell out of employees around here.

Speaker 7 (21:38):
It's what I do best.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
I mean, she she's scared Stephanus, there was going to
be a heart attack. You know, she does that thing
where she hides, find a door and comes out of Yeah,
He's like, oh Christ, you know we're in the workplace.

Speaker 3 (21:51):
Got a mighty did not no idea? She was right behind.

Speaker 10 (21:54):
I know.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
It's why Jesus a scary person living in a nuthouse.
All right. Cobra Kai bites.

Speaker 11 (22:05):
Tonight newly released police body camera video showing the very
real confrontation.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
Between two Cobra Kai co stars. But you may not
fight it, Hut.

Speaker 11 (22:15):
Actor Martin Cove, seen here in the black jacket after
he was escorted out of a fan event.

Speaker 3 (22:20):
Oh oh, I see, okay, Well you know this is
more than you led on. This is interesting, This is
this is what I've told you.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
This is a controversy. You didn't say there was controversial.
It's good, it's really.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
All right.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
Let's get into this then. But I thought you sold it,
as you know, as a sort of a meetingless piece
of trivia for that that movie.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
But this is good.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
These are people being ejected out of stupid events and events.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
Oh that's great between two Cobra Kai co stars, but
you may not fight hut.

Speaker 11 (22:55):
Actor Martin Cove seen here in the Black Jacket after
he was escorted out of a fan event where he
allegedly bit and then kissed his co star's arm.

Speaker 8 (23:04):
Yeah, I apologize.

Speaker 14 (23:06):
I was just playing because we're very exploitful together, and
I bited down too hard and I meant to.

Speaker 9 (23:12):
Got a mount mark on her. Yeah, I know.

Speaker 13 (23:15):
No, we do not play like that.

Speaker 11 (23:18):
Cove, who is now seventy eight years old, made famous
for his role as John Creese in the Karate Kid films.

Speaker 3 (23:24):
He was concentration of fighting your dead meat. Yes, that's okay,
so belly, I can't track this. What happened? Who bit who? Cook?

Speaker 7 (23:34):
Cove bit his fellow co star, who is an actress,
too hard, too hard. They were at a fan event
and he was horsing around pretending to bite her, and
he actually did bite her really hard. She's an actress
in the show with him.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
You bleeding?

Speaker 7 (23:48):
It was not bleeding, but there was a mark. Yeah,
pretty big mark on her arm. And she was like
yelling at him in a parking lot, like this isn't
cool what you did, and He's like, oh my god,
it's not a big deal.

Speaker 5 (23:57):
Just had a little nibble, yeah all the time. And
she's like, not like this, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
Oh I see okay. And so she's really pissed. Is
that right.

Speaker 5 (24:07):
She filed a police to report.

Speaker 3 (24:08):
Really she was upsetting.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
Oh my god. So she's going after legally as well.

Speaker 5 (24:14):
Yet she doesn't want charges, but she does want the
it wants it file just in case. Yeah, she wants
it on the record, just in case there's another incident.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
Oh, that's horrible. I feel bad for I feel bad
for her. I mean to be bitten at one of
those stupid events you don't want to be at any way.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Yeah, it's not horrible.

Speaker 7 (24:34):
She should have crane kicked him.

Speaker 13 (24:36):
You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on demand from KFI
AM six forty.

Speaker 5 (24:42):
Hey.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
I was just informed that we have a new number
for people are cruising with us next year. On July
twenty first, we have fifty four cabins sold. Ninety six
people are going, So ninety six KFI listeners, you're all

(25:05):
going to Seattle and later this month or early next month,
we're starting a Facebook page specifically for the ninety six
passengers that are going on the cruise with us.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
So that'd be fun.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
You'll get to know each other before you get on
the cruise, so maybe you'll enjoy each other more. You're like, Oh,
that's the guy who's been talking about the Kings. Oh
that's the guy who lives in Granada Hills. Oh that's
the gal that likes a restaurant in Manhattan Beach. You know,
you'll know something about the people you're traveling with because

(25:44):
a lot of times you get on a cruise and
you don't know anybody. You don't know anybody. You just
know the people you're sleeping in the same cabin with,
which isn't bad. But this you'll know ninety six or
ninety five at least ninety five fellow travelers. And I
think we're going to be close to two hundred by
the time this cruise kicks off. And for people just

(26:07):
tuning in, we're going to Alaska July twenty first of
next year. So go to Conwaycruise dot com. All the
information is there and if you have signed up, you
put your deposit in. You're going to be part of
that Facebook group whether you like it or not. And
I'm going to be part of that Facebook group, and
we are going to get to know each other before
we get on that cruise ship. Maybe we'll all be

(26:28):
tired of each other by the time we get on
the ship and we won't even talk to each other.
That's a possibility. I don't like to think that that
will happen, but it's certainly possible.

Speaker 3 (26:37):
It's possible.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
All right, Let's talk about this poor lifeguard who was
impaled by an umbrella in New Jersey.

Speaker 3 (26:46):
Oh my god, what happened to this guy?

Speaker 17 (26:48):
Hasbury talk of fightening accident on the Jersey shore. Please
say a young woman was impaled by a beach umbrella
this morning.

Speaker 3 (26:55):
Oh, it's a young woman impaled by beach umbrella.

Speaker 17 (26:59):
We don't know if the wind tossed it into her
or she fell on it, but it went through her
shoulder out of her back. Emergency crews had to cut
that umbrella down because it was originally six feet long,
and in order to transfer it to the hospital, they
needed to take measure Ah.

Speaker 1 (27:13):
Can you imagine the shock that you'd be in. You
have an umbrella go right through your body and they
got to cut it and they can't take it out.
The surgeon has to do that, and they cut it out,
they cut it down, and they take you to a
hospital with an umbrella in you. That has to be

(27:34):
a first. Got to be a first. All right, Let's
talk about Jeff Bezos. He's getting married. He owns a
majority share of Amazon. He started Amazon. I think everybody
uses Amazon still, and he has some wedding man something
Else's guy with this wedding is unbelievable.

Speaker 18 (27:51):
We're entering the final countdown for what promises.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
To be By the way, I'm not entering the final countdown.
When she says we're entering the final count down, it
seems like we're all entering the final countdown.

Speaker 3 (28:04):
I'm not entering that countdown.

Speaker 18 (28:07):
We're entering the final countdown for what promises to be
one of the most expensive, most exclusive, highly secretive weddings
of the entire year. And when most details have been
kept under wraps about the big day until now, we're
getting a first luck.

Speaker 1 (28:20):
What do you buy Jeff Bezos for his wedding? What
could you possibly lay on him that he needs or
wants and he doesn't have it?

Speaker 5 (28:29):
You get him an Amazon gift card?

Speaker 1 (28:31):
Can't marry right? I think everyone will goof on him
and do that. I think I'll have like twelve hundred
Amazon gift cards. He's like, Ah, that's another one. Great,
that's very funny. Thank you, mister Clooney. That's a very
very nice of you, Very nice of you and your wife.

Speaker 18 (28:46):
They're the talk of the town, Jeff Bezos and fiance
Lauren Sanchez hosting a phone party aboard their four hundred
and seventeen foot luxury super yacht ahead of their wedding
festivities in Venice. Bezos worth an estimated two hundred and
thirty one billion dollars. Starting their party with friends in
nearby Croatia, bouncing around beach balls and diving off, they're
five hundred million dollar yond. Source close to the couple

(29:08):
telling ABC News that less than two hundred of the
couple's family and close friends will be traveling to Italy
for the event.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
You know, mostly I'm like, occasionally like jealous of people
with that kind of dough and that kind of boat.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
Not this case, Not this case.

Speaker 1 (29:24):
I would be so mortified if I owned a boat
worth a half of billion dollars, How could you possibly
bring it into any harbor without feeling like a huge
giant a hole with that big ship all to yourself.
How do you do that?

Speaker 18 (29:41):
Wedding guests are reported to include Oprah, Leonardo DiCaprio, and
Kim Kardashian. ABC News exclusively obtaining this portion of the
couple's wedding invitation sent to guests in May, which asks
guests to skip gifts for the billionaire couples.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
Okay, well there's the answer. That's what you get the
Bezos for their wedding Nothing.

Speaker 18 (30:01):
Which asks guests to skip gifts for the billionaire couple.

Speaker 1 (30:04):
But you know what, even when they ask you to
skip a gift, don't you feel like you should bring something?
I bet Oprah is not going to show up empty handed.
I bet she'll buy them something.

Speaker 18 (30:14):
En List three Venetian charities that Bezos and Sanchez will
be donating to on their behalf.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
Ah. Okay, well, now that's even worse because they'll know
how much you donated. So now you got to lay
I don't know, one hundred thousand dollars on the charities.
There's no way that Oprah's going to come in and put,
you know, fifteen hundred dollars on that charity. She's got
to go at least fifty grand one hundred grand. Have
to Oprah, you have to.

Speaker 18 (30:41):
But not everyone is happy with the wedding events.

Speaker 1 (30:44):
Oh no, oh no, maybe the locals right.

Speaker 18 (30:48):
Across Venice protests popping up on this building no space
for Bezos and green Peace unfurling this banner in Saint
Mark Square that reads, if you can rent Venice for
your wedding, you can pay more taxs.

Speaker 4 (31:01):
One big billionaire can rent a city for his pleasure.

Speaker 5 (31:04):
I think it's absolutely ridiculous.

Speaker 18 (31:06):
The mayor of Venice says the city is very proud
to host the event, and Bezos's wedding planners, who also
planned George Clooney's lavish twenty fourteen Venice nuptials, saying in
a statement from the outset instruction from our club.
