runs parallel to the one oh five Freeway at last,
and maybe maybe a minute ago, he's probably coming up
on Crenshaw or make that Central at this point eastbound Imperial.

They have zero regard for the public, and now people

now off of Hooper and one hundred and fourteenth the
one guys are booking it. Here's one with a white shirt.
There's other people that are starting to come out as well, and.

at least in Los Angeles. Who that looks like they've
got at least one guy in the neighborhood on Channel five,
looks like that absolutely one guy.

you might have tried to get out another way out

your water bill, your power, maybe you have to pay obviously,
you have to pay for insurance, a couple of car payments.
Thin walls in an apartment building, thin walls if it's
not built you know, to code for condos. If it's
just for apartments, the walls are thinner, they're cheaper to
build that way, and you hear everything that goes on

on the other side of that wall. Thin walls, which
is a horrible name for an apartment building fewer parking
spaces as well. Some of these apartment buildings in Hollywood,
they're taking parking away from you and building apartments in
the parking lot. The ADUs, I believe what it's ADU. Yeah,

and put a bed in it and a TV set

one of these apartment I used to live in in

bucks a month. There's an apartment building on the way

out to Valencia and there's a big sign on it,
you know, three hundred and ninety nine dollars moves you in,
but it should be three ninety nine moves you in
dot dot dot, and the sheriff moves you out. Cause
if you're at three ninety nine a month, man, you're
around a lot of other guys at three ninety nine,
and those are just squeaking by, just squeaking by. It

Dodgers Stadium. The chase is over that we've been following
all evening here. It ended up in the Watts area
of Los Angeles. Lots of people running and you know,
confusing the cops. And I think that's why they did it.
They went in the area and said, okay, well we

came out and he said, no, I don't really smell much.

really gets bad and run over here. It's kind of bad.
He goes, and he said, I'll test it out with
some equipment and then he rings the dormane. He goes,
you're right, it's leaking. There is a gas leak here.
Reason I'm going to call it in. Don't worry.

He stayed at hotel.

No, he stayed, We stayed. He said, he got nothing
to worry about. And then nothing happened. Monday goes by
and nothing happens, and then Tuesday rolls around and we

again and they said, this is a serious leak and
we we're going to get on this right away. But

we just were watching it from twelve miles away on
a camera and it's not that exciting. So CBS and

runs parallel to the one oh five Freeway at last,
and maybe maybe a minute ago, he's probably coming up
on Crenshaw or make that Central at this point eastbound Imperial.

And now they're on this, uh, this chase. They're the

fourteenth Street, and it looks like it might be coming
back towards US. A lot of cops out there and
it looks like that's the SWAT team. I don't know
if it's pertaining to this. Oh yeah, no, I think
this is a different.

Channel four has a swat on the freeway and it
looks like this might be for a different reason.

So we're still in Watts with this chase with LAPD
that's been going on for more than an hour, and
we've been covering here with a lot of dangerous moves.
They have zero regard for the public, and now people
are coming out on the street to watch it as well,
which could also represent another element another danger. People on

the Oh, there's a lot of people out there now
watching this.

Neighborhood before and the suspect has just kind of been
hanging around.

So this is in the Wants area one hundred and
twelve and Zomra Avenue.

On the Channel two or Channel nine, they got a
beautiful view of this. Evidently they oh now their foot fail.

Now two helicopters overhead trying to keep tabs on this one.

They ran into a dense neighborhood.

They immediately one of them went into a unit, and
then a bunch of people came out and kind of
started interfering with LAPD. There we go, there's no those
are the officers looking for him, and here we go. Okay,
so they still have them. One of the spotlight right
now off of Hooper and one hundred and fourteenth the
one guys are booking it. Here's one with a white shirt.
There's other people that are starting to come out as well, and.

Confusing, it's so chaotic.

Everyone just started running and they didn't know who it was, and.

Then all these other people come out and kind of

the place, and and and just people kind of getting
mixed up in this situation.

They're not a bad poy to go in this neighborhood,
and everybody runs just like you have no idea who
you're chased it, that's it.

Wow, what an ending, right, and now you have no
idea where the guy is. He's gone.

see if they can wrangle these dudes up. But it
ended up on Hooper Avenue in one hundred and fourteenth
Street in the I think that's in the Watts area,
at least in Los Angeles. Who that looks like they've
got at least one guy in the neighborhood on Channel five,
looks like that absolutely one guy.

Hearing now that they have one of those suspects in custody,
you might have tried to get out another way out
of this building.

told you that if you live in a high end apartment,
you're now subjected to at least one irritating thing that
happens in low end apartments as well, and that is
couples fighting. Couples fighting. It used to be in low

end apartments. You'd hear it all the time. You know,
people are having money issues or marital issues, and and
there's battles all the time in apartments that you know,
guy's paying three hundred dollars a month. Well, now people
are paying ten thousand dollars a month, and the troubles continue.
You know, when you got your rent at ten thousand dollars,

your water bill, your power, maybe you have to pay obviously,
you have to pay for insurance, a couple of car payments.
Thin walls in an apartment building, thin walls if it's
not built you know, to code for condos. If it's
just for apartments, the walls are thinner, they're cheaper to
build that way, and you hear everything that goes on

on the other side of that wall. Thin walls, which
is a horrible name for an apartment building fewer parking
spaces as well. Some of these apartment buildings in Hollywood,
they're taking parking away from you and building apartments in
the parking lot. The ADUs, I believe what it's ADU. Yeah,

the ADUs. So they're going to take your parking spot
and put a bed in it and a TV set
and bang, Bob's your uncle. Plus if you live in
one of these apartment I used to live in in
Normandy and Wiltshire and an apartment building on a Rollo
Street on the eighteenth floor, and it was three D

house of funky smells. There was every single food in
the world was being cooked in there, and a lot
of it was great, but there was one thing that
would that they cooked all the time, and it was
I think it was called kim chi. Fa smelled that.
Oh yeah, kim lined cabbage. It's either you love it

But the fighting that's going on now and even high
end apartments is driving people crazy because when you spend
eight thousand dollars a month, you want to be around
other people that can afford eight thousand dollars a month,
and yet they are fighting like cats and dogs, like
a guy who's spending you know, two hundred and fifty
bucks a month. There's an apartment building on the way

out to Valencia and there's a big sign on it,
you know, three hundred and ninety nine dollars moves you in,
but it should be three ninety nine moves you in
dot dot dot, and the sheriff moves you out. Cause
if you're at three ninety nine a month, man, you're
around a lot of other guys at three ninety nine,
and those are just squeaking by, just squeaking by. It

could be bround life's most interesting guys. It's George Carland
calls him all right, three to one, Dodgers down at
Dodgers Stadium. The chase is over that we've been following
all evening here. It ended up in the Watts area
of Los Angeles. Lots of people running and you know,
confusing the cops. And I think that's why they did it.
They went in the area and said, okay, well we

land here, gather around, then everybody take off and it confused.

came out and he said, no, I don't really smell much.

And I'm thinking, oh, man, I said, well, it was
really gets bad and run over here. It's kind of bad.
He goes, and he said, I'll test it out with
some equipment and then he rings the dormane. He goes,
you're right, it's leaking. There is a gas leak here.
Reason I'm going to call it in. Don't worry.

He stayed at hotel.

No, he stayed, We stayed. He said, he got nothing
to worry about. And then nothing happened. Monday goes by
and nothing happens, and then Tuesday rolls around and we
call it in again. Now it starts as a fresh ticket,
like nobody even know about it. And they came out
again and they said, this is a serious leak and
we we're going to get on this right away. But

the dedication to the people who showed up on Tuesday night,
it was really how many people showed up, Well, it
was one guy who was terrific and he stayed all
