In this episode, we look at the events and battles of the New York Campaign during the American Revolution. Starting right after the British evacuation from Boston to the Retreat of Washington and the continental army across the Delaware River into Pennslyvania. The events discussed in this episode will set the stage for the New Jersey Campaign during the latter part of 1776 and the early part of 1777.
In this episode, we take a look at the first and second continental congresses and how the British American colonies went from wanting to fight for their rights as English citizens to breaking away from the mother country.
