When we talk about home design around here, we mean the whooooole home - that includes our minds and our bodies too. We’re always interested in learning about ways to take care of ourselves and others, how to make it more whole, how to make it more us.
Betty-Ann Heggie teaches us how to do just that through her concept of Gender Physics - the practice of optimizing the best of these energies so we can express ourselves freely as individuals and be the best version of ourselves. Masculine and Feminine Energy are present in each one of us, regardless of biology. Tapping into and using both energies starts with accepting that gender is a social construct, which holds us back through antiquated stereotypes that most of us don’t even realize we are following.
Betty-Ann Heggie, is a widely recognized thought leader in gender dynamics, and has been published in Harvard Business Review, Inc. Magazine, Apple News, Huffington Post and The Good Men Project. An award-winning speaker, author and mentor, Betty-Ann is also a corporate director, philanthropist and was inducted into Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women Hall of Fame.
She speaks regularly on how men and women can make progress together in the modern workplace, helping businesses and individuals identify stereotypical attitudes about gender that create blind spots and prevent them from reaching their highest performance.
