My name is Headley Thomas, and I've been investigating the
disappearance of Bromwyn Winfield thirty one years ago for the
podcast series called Bromwen. Over recent days, I've been interviewing
a witness, Judy Singh. She is a Korean nurse who
used to live very close to Bromwyn and John Winfield
in Lennox head Here is some of what she told me.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
And this night I was sitting up and I saw
the carpool out at the end of the street when
the light was on in the car, and he drove
very slowly along the street, but he had left the
car white on and I could see directly into the car,
and I had a small lantern on the balcony rail and.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
He kind of looked up this night and I saw
this what looked to be like a mummy in the
back of the car and I thought, well, even if
he was taking out belongings, it wouldn't make it look
like a body, do you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (01:30):
So when you say a mummy, it was wrapped in something.

Speaker 5 (01:36):
Yes, it was either very pale green or cream, not white,
but maybe like a bed sheet or something like that,
and I wanted the police to know that.
