Welcome to Fear and Greed. Business News Afternoon Report for
Friday eighty tenth of October twenty twenty five. I'm suan Alma.
Every afternoon, we've got the five stories that happened today
that you need to know about. Stay number one. This
PA six two hundred closed just touched down today zero
point one percent to eight nine hundred and fifty eight points,
with mining stocks weighing down. A mostly good day for

the Aussie force. Eight of eleven sectors closed higher, led
by the tech stocks, but it was a minus that
held things back. BHP was off more than two percent,
four to Q one and a half percent. Rio Tinto
about the same. Tech sector did pretty well. Zero raised
more than one percent. Tech one gained two percent. All
the four big banks closed higher. Quantus jump two percent,

but minus Linus and A Luca were hit hard by
late win weakness in mining stocks. Sorry. Number two. Prime
Minister Anthony Albernizi today repeated calls for the temperature of
public debate to be turned down after man was charged
with allegedly making death threats against him online. I quote
the PM here. I've said that the media have a
role in that as well. The issues before the court.

So I'm not going to make any comments on the specifics,
but you wouldn't be surprised that I'm very concerned by
the revelations which are out there publicly, he said. With
events overseas, there's more violence towards elected officials. Violence towards
anyone is a bad thing, the PM said, and we
just need to turn down the temperature. Story Number three,

criminal groups in the world, is still live on the
dark Web, despite reported attempts by US law enforcement agencies
to stop the leak of nearly one billion customer records
from thirty nine companies. Now one of those companies is Quantus.
Scattered Lapsist Dollar Hunters has been stealing the data of
Salesforce customers for over a year. Earlier this week, they

demanded the cloud based software company contact them by tonight
or all information would be leaked Salesforce's rule without paying
any ransom or negotiating with the group. That could mean
details of five point seven million Quantus frequent flyers and
customers of McDonald's, Disney and ups will also be exposed.
We wait and see on that one. Storry number four,

the government agency overseeing debt issuances, said it will not
allow ain Z to lead any of his bond deals
until it sees significant cultural change at the bank, which
has been forced to pay a one hundred and twenty
five million dollar penalty after admitting to incorrectly reporting data
in bungling, a major twenty twenty three transaction. The Australian
Office of Financial Management has confirmed the ban on ain Z.

The agency chief executive and IF Hughes told a Senate
hearing that it had kept all other engagements to a
minimum since April twenty twenty three. That's according to report
in the finn Review and Story number five. Benjamin Netanya,
who has hailed the prospective guards of ceasefire in hostage
release as a great day and triumph for his diplomatic
and military strategy after two years of war, but it

While virtually all Israeli society has rallied around the US
break of deal, the PM's far right coalition partner's voice
opposition to the plan that will require Israel to release
nearly two thousand Palestinian prisoners from its jails, two hundred

related charges. More worrying for Israeli alternationalists have long dreamt

of annexing Gaza, emptying it of Palestinians, and building Jewish settlements.
The agreement will require a permanent end to the devastating
campaign without the full destruction of Hamas, alongside a commitment
