Sometimes when you feel your weakest, you may actually be your strongest. This week, we're talking about how we redefine what it means to be strong, and more importantly, how we develop and practice strength. Over the past decade, evolving conversations around health, wellness, and fitness have ushered in new definitions of not only what it means to be “healthy,” but what it means to be “strong.” Our incredibly strong guest is world-record holding Paralympic track and field athlete Scout Bassett. Scout talks with us to talk about the strength that comes from struggle, not in spite of it. Neuroscientist Daya Grant also joins us to discuss what mental strength can do for us physically. By training our minds in resilience, goal setting, focus and more we are able to perform at the very highest levels.

Today’s episode features Scout Bassett- @scoutbassett and Dr. Daya Grant @dr.dayagrant.
