Many of us who were raised by more traditional parents grew into adults and witnessed a totally different type of child – the one kicking the back of our seat on the airplane or throwing a public fit with no parental invention. We’ve also seen this completely different parent than what we remember. This new one who seems passive, if not permissive. The parent who acts like BFFs with the hell-raiser as opposed to the guardian and authority figure. And so we’ve been told they’re “gentle parents.” What is this new term? Is it an everything-goes style or child rearing or are there misconceptions about what we’ve come to know as gentle parenting? With a family counselor, Dr. Jen Yensel of the Cole Center, in discussion with a panel of parents, a teacher, and a children's sports coach. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
