I årene 2010-2012 strømmet tusenvis av unge svensker til Norge, raskt kjent som "Partysvenskene" – med et rykte på å jobbe hardt om dagen og feste om natten. De var et synlig innslag i bybildet, spesielt i servicebransjen, og kom hit på grunn av høy ungdomsarbeidsledighet i Sverige og en lukrativ norsk økonomi med sterk kronekurs. De tjente betydelig mer her enn både svenske og norske jevnaldrende.
Men hva skjedde da det store flertallet av dem dro tilbake til Sverige?
