Denne episoden handler om en av de mest betydningsfulle nordmennene i internasjonal politikk – Trygve Lie. Fra en oppvekst på Grorud til å bli den første generalsekretær i FN, er hans vei full av både politiske kamper og kompromisser, en vei som førte han frem til å bli verdens første FN-generalsekretær. Han var med på å bygge opp organisasjonen som skulle sikre fred etter verdenskrigen – men samtidig ble han kritisert for å undergrave idealene den var bygget på.
Trygve Lie blir omtalt som «Israels gudfar». Israelske diplomater kalte han «den jødiske statens gudfar» og mener han var avgjerdene for hvordan opprettelsen av staten.
For å fortelle historien har besøk av Midtøsten-kjenner, journalist og forfatter Odd Karsten Tveit, som er aktuell med boken I Mossads blodspor – fra skyggekrig til folkemord.

The Brothers Ortiz
The Brothers Ortiz is the story of two brothers–both successful, but in very different ways. Gabe Ortiz becomes a third-highest ranking officer in all of Texas while his younger brother Larry climbs the ranks in Puro Tango Blast, a notorious Texas Prison gang.
