En el año 2024, varias mujeres han acusado al director Carlos Vermut de violencia sexual, y la actriz Elisa Mouilaá ha denunciado por lo mismo al exdiputado Íñigo Errejón, el cual está citado a declarar el próximo 16 de enero. El futbolista Dani Alves y el exdirector de Catalunya Radio Saül Gordillo han sido condenados por delitos de agresión. En otro sistema judicial, la Fiscalía francesa ha pedido la pena máxima -de 20 años- para Dominique Pelicot, acusado de violar durante 10 años a su mujer además de drogarla para que más de 50 hombres también abusaran de ella. En la ficción, se ha estrenado la serie Querer, de Alauda Ruiz de Azúa.
Los procesos judiciales por violencia sexual no salen de la actualidad, procesos complejos que entran en la conversación pública. Dos abogados penalistas, Laia Serra (que defiende a la acusación) y David Fechenbach (que suele defender a acusados), explican cada fase del proceso.
