For decades, women across the United States were disappearing, their cases often overlooked, misclassified, or forgotten. Behind it all was one man: Samuel Little.
Little’s crimes spanned more than 30 years, making him America’s most prolific confirmed serial killer. He claimed responsibility for over 90 murders, and the FBI later verified at least 60 of them, a chilling record in U.S. history. His victims were often among society’s most vulnerable, which tragically allowed his crimes to go undetected for far too long.
In this episode, we trace Little’s early life and criminal background, his disturbing methods, and how he managed to avoid justice for decades. We also look at how modern investigative work finally exposed the full scale of his atrocities, leading to a shocking legacy that still raises questions about law enforcement failures, victim profiling, and justice for the forgotten.
This is the story of manipulation, brutality, and a criminal who managed to hide in plain sight.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
