Having defeated the Lizard Mayor, the troupe set out back to Happy Town. Shadow Nemesis—now calling himself “Shadam”—tried and failed to take charge of the Lizardfolk, Shadow Rogue took pity on the squire and tried to connect with him, Tyler used skills bestowed upon him by Ezra to lead them safely back to shore, and Del was able to concentrate over the new ghost voices in her head just enough to steer them back to Happy Town. They have one week to train before facing the Dark One, but will Shadam find a balance between good and evil and finally give Del a break from doing an unreasonable amount of emotional labour?
