(00:03):
Yay networks. Have you never seenthe Wizard of oz Mo gig Ma gig
that traumatized me as a kid.I was a bit of hot water for
a long time. It was thenight before Halloween, and all through the

(00:32):
house now that creature was stirring, and Hannah was wide awake. There were
a lot of creatures stirring, Shane, every creature was stirring. We had
a spected night last night, notjust amount that we're gonna tell you about.
And it resulted in Hannah telling methat we are leaving la and that

(00:54):
she was purchasing a weapon. Yeah. I was like, I was like,
why do I not have a giganticknife on my bedside table? Why
do I not have that at home? We have pepper spray, I don't
have it here yet, But todayI'm going to order a Today will be
a firing weaponry, a whole bunchof weapons I will keep next to my
bed. So if you were goingto come into our house, be warned.

(01:15):
I will be armed with all sortsof things. Do you want to
tell them about the rough night youhad? The spookiney Well, I woke
you know what, I'm going tobe completely honest, I was asleep,
I was on my back. Iwoke up to a horrible smell. Shane.
Shane farted me awake, And I'msorry for anyone who didn't want to
hear that, but that is trulyhow I woke up, which is awful

(01:38):
for me. I did not knowthat it broke you up, and I
thought maybe Chloe had had and diarrheaor I wroke up and felt that I
approached him and did nothing to mitigatethe issue. I thought you were sound
aslave. You very sound a slave. Was you guessed me out? I
thought I did, just really, but we need two separate blankets. We

(02:04):
truly do, because it is socruel that it came up under my blanket.
Okay, So that's how I wakeup trying to keep you Yeah,
thanks, And I'm like, oh, that's disgusting that it's definitely Shane's fart.
That's horrible. How could you dothat to me? And then I
start to hear thumps, and thatwas what I was saying to myself last

(02:24):
night. I was like, thisis not tapping like like a scroll on
the roof, you know, likescrabbling. This is thumping, like a
heavy object, a human sized objectis running through the house. I heard
a couple thumps and I literally waslike my heart stopped. I like almost
sat up terrified. We had twovery different experiences of this. Yeah,

(02:50):
you know, event I lay inthere, you know, I was my
furt smell dissertated. Heard a quicklittle stutle of like a small animal running
out house that roof. We havelike kittens and cats that live in the
area. It's apparently in big lathing. And I heard a small hat

(03:15):
running out house, huge cat andI thought, oh a cat, And
I'm kind of ready ready to fallasleep. That was the first sound.
A couple of thumps. Then I'mlike hearing hearing some thumps here and there.
I am picturing someone in our livingroom picking objects up, putting things
down. I'm like, oh mygod, there is someone in the house.

(03:37):
Then I hear a series of quickthumps as if someone is running down
our hallway, and I literally almostdied. I was like, should I
text my mom goodbye? Like I'mabout to be murdered. I genuinely had
that thought it was an intruder andthey were just washing around their house,
admiring our decorations and then they decidedI'm gonna sprint on the hallway. I'm

(04:00):
just gonna run around. Well,I thought they were coming fast. I
thought they were going to sneak up. Oh it was awful. I was
so scared. But Chloe wasn't barkingor anything. So I was like,
that's always my that's like my safety, mental safety. Now, if the
dog's not barking, it's probably fine. Yeah, and she barks. If

(04:23):
someone came to the house, shewould be on them in their face instantly,
Yeah, and we would know andnever even say goodbye. Yeah.
She doesn't look like a guard dog, but she very much would be an
effective guard dog. So as longas she wasn't freaking out, I shouldn't
have. But I could not fallasleep for like an hour and a half
because I'm so scared. And that'sthe thing. I didn't know that you

(04:43):
were awake. I was facing awayfrom you, and like I I wake
up and stay awake a lot, like I just sleep badly. And about
an hour after my part, Iheard you moving like a lot and I
was like, are you wait still? And you were like yes, And
now, so she told me likeI think I heard something, and I

(05:05):
was like, it's okay. I'mlike, I'm so scared. I will
say though in this No, it'severywhere I've ever slept. I have this
like tendency to be broken by likea slimming noise, a sliming door.
Yeah, is that a film?I think it's a I think yeah,

(05:26):
like a mental like a mental thing. Because I had that too, where
I would be like almost asleep andthen I would swear that I heard something
really loud, and then you wouldn'treact. So I was like, I
guess not given here, just likeit's happened in the past two but here,
like last night, that happened multipletimes, And the collusion about spooky
night is actually a little bit spooky. Handa got up and we you know,

(05:48):
we did fall down sleep and wegot up later and handed goes into
our back there and you said, all of our toilet paper is like unspooled.
Yeah what but it had been unwound. Yeah, not all of it,
but I've significant it. It wasall in a pile on the floor.
And I don't unless last like whenI went to the bathroom, I

(06:12):
didn't go to the bathroom in themiddle of the night, So unless my
last pee at like eleven PM,I accidentally as I walked away, like
that's ever happened before, So Idon't know what that was. I was
really creeped out. We've had someconstruption people at our house recently, and
yesterday they had to be in ourattic. Yeah, and that was another

(06:32):
thought I had. I think whatif someone stayed in the attic. We
both had the thought when we heardnoises every night that maybe they were still
up in the attic. Did anyonemake sure that everyone left it, everyone
got out before they sealed it uptaking its Oh god, so that was
their spooky night. Yeah, havespookier for handed than Mede. Yeah it

(06:53):
wasn't. Yeah, it was prettyspooky for me. But we have a
spooky episode for you. We do, being that this is spooky week.
Spooky Ma. We're gonna take braidsand then we'll be back. I have
some spooky dreams that I've been having, like existentially spooky, like the same
dream over and over again in differentways. And you know he loves to

(07:14):
share his dreams. Not a funone, wells one of them's fun.
Anyway. Then we're going to playa hobby. An addition, ever would
you rather, which will be funand spooky. Nice. All right,
we will be right back for ourthird wedding anniversary. This year, Shane
and I got a beautiful painting madeby Paint your Life that is from a

(07:39):
photo of our wedding. Yeah, and so now we just got this painting
in the mail and it is gorgeous. Yeah, it's a wonderful way to
like forever remember the special moment ina beautiful like legit painted. Take sure
that we can have in our houseand make every guest that we have admire

(08:00):
it for at least ten minutes.Yeah, come look at our painting.

portraits by professional artists at an affordableprice. We even got a video of
our artists doing the painting yep, which is really totally this is not this
is actually hand painted by a realhuman being. Yep. It was super

(08:20):
easy to order. Shane and Ilooked through all of our wedding photos.
We both decided on one. Wesubmitted it. It took like less than
five minutes and then it was deliveredin less than two weeks. My favorite
thing about the painting is the colorsthat are in it. Like, I
just loved our wedding color so much, and now we have a hand painted
ye know, photo from the weddingthat just perfectly encapsulates just the whole color

(08:43):

(09:31):
for Shane's Dreams time too. Ifthere's anything that could share you this Halloween,
it is entering the twisted and unsettlingdream world that I inhabit. Oh
my god, I don't know why. I think it's stress because my dreams
are just constantly upsetting. Yeah, and then really like derange rays. So

(09:56):
I had three dreams in the lastthree days, and here's what they are.
Number one, I, along withanother group of people, was being
held kind of against my will ina hotel, but not like a hotel.
Didn't really, it wasn't a bigpart of it. It was just

(10:20):
a building to be brought down intoHell. It was like a holding cell
before being brought to Hell. Yeah, prejatory, But in my dream,
I wasn't thinking, oh, thisis predatory. I was just a jail

(10:43):
that at any moment I would begotten by the yards or whoever it was
and be brought down into Hell, where I would begin a eternity, eternity
of the verse that you imagine, what did you do? Like, had
you done something bad? No ofthem? That's all it was. It

(11:05):
was being like, oh, there'sno way I can get out. I'm
just being held here and I'm aboutto be brought down to Hell. That's
scary alone. But creepy part wasthat in my dream I had the thought
that I knew this was a dreamLike. In my dream, I was

(11:26):
like, I'm dreaming, this isnot real life, but I also knew
that when I woke up, Iwas still knowing to be in that like
holding cell like it was real life. Basically, I was like, I'm
dreaming this, but that's because whenI make up, I'm still about to
be brought down to Hell, whichmetaphorically is scary. Wow. You could

(11:50):
write a whole book about that premise. I did. It's it's just like
a logical whole like something something. But I woked up and thankfully was not
being brought down to hell. Wow. So that was number one. And
I was probably dreaming about like icecream or something while you were having that
horrible dream. Huh. Number two? Was it? Hannah and I decided

(12:13):
that we were going back to collegeand we were going to get graduate degrees
from the University of Boston. Wow. Okay, so is that a university?
Yeah? Yeah, And so thedream was Hannah and I A Liz
moving us into our Boston dorm room. Never mind l A, we are,

(12:39):
We're going the other way. So, Hannah, in real life,
would you get back to college andmove into a dorm room with me?
No? Because we have a dogand like things. Yeah, no,
okay, I wouldn't want to dothat. I wouldn't want to I mean
a dorm, No, I wouldn't. No, especially not. I mean
I know what this stream was,and I wouldn't move into that situation especially.

(13:03):
Yeah. So I was in mydream onind of like this is a
new beginning, this is a samYeah, like we're going back to well
yay. We arrived at our newdorm room apartment them, and we find
out that we are rooming, whichnot one, not two, not three,
but ten roommates. We had tenroommates and they were all undergrad students

(13:26):
who were like partying and stuff. We enter our dorm and realize it's just
a big open room with like bunkbeds around the outside and common living room
in the middle, and everyone waslike smoky drinking and like playing beer and
were like, hello, we're theeleventh and twelve member of this room members

(13:52):
our room. No, there's noroom, there's your bed. When the
quiet hours began, is there akitchen now? Okay? And even I
were and again like we couldn't leave. We had like signed up, we
were doing it, and we werelike, oh no, we have to

(14:13):
live in this situation for a longtime, And wasn't my mom like,
you guys can't live here, thisis your mom was against it, but
like she went out to like runerrands and told us that there were like
a lot of police around. Idon't remember why, but oh my gosh,
that was also like going to Hell. Yeah, the surgerdream wasn't as

(14:37):
scary, but Hannah and I,here's howm a denominator between the dreams.
And then we're moving into a newapartment. So in one you're moving to
hell, in two you're moving toa dorm room, and then three were
moving to an apartment. Uh huhokay, uh, maybe my dreams you're
trying to tell me to like moveor stop moving or stop moving. Yeah,

(15:00):
yeah, you can diagnose me.At the end, we moved into
a new apartment and it was ina big apartment building, very nice apartment.
We were on the drownd floor andwe wanted to do some laundry.
Our apartment had laundry in the room. Yeah, better than the dorm.

(15:22):
So we began a load of laundryand discover that the and I don't know
if this is like dream logic orif it's real. But the laundry machine
had like a exhaust pipe where likethe excess steam or air would blow out
and put that pipe connected into thehallway of the apartment building. So like

(15:50):
live out into that hallway outside ofour apartment. When we begn our load,
we noticed that there was heavy amountsmoke like billowing out of the into
the hallway, to the point thatthe fire alarm ran off the whole building

(16:12):
had to be evacuated, although noneof the smoke was coming into our apartment,
and so we stayed and continued doinglaundry, even though that the fire
department and the other attendants were likebagging on our windows, being like,

(16:33):
stop doing laundry. What the reasonthat we didn't stop is, we said
to them through the window in anapartment building, it is the landlord's problem,
not ours. We need to dolaundry. Pop to the land lorry.

(16:53):
We were like, we're done withhomeownership. This is we We got
an apartment for a reason, notour problem. Yeah, we were using
that future. Oh my gosh,So apologies to the other tenants in my
dream apartment. We didn't mean tosmokee you up, ruining everyone's life.

(17:14):
Yeah, we might being very goodneighbors. I'm dying at us yelling through
the window that we will not bestopping at least out. And I wasn't
like destined for a lifetime of misery. You know, we were pleased,
We were happy anyway. What doyou make of all my dreams? Definitely
stress dreams. Am I sick? No? Definitely the hair stressed. Yeah,

(17:40):
you need to have some calm, calm days moving and distressful. Yeah,
like getting this place ELF set uphas been Yes, a lot,
a lot of decisions to be dreamsto making that very clear. Yep,
all right, shall we move onto something a bit later? Halloween?
Would you rather? Yeah, let'sdo it excited, We'll take it,
break and it'll be right back.Okay, we are back and we are

(18:07):
ready to play Halloween. Would yourather? Are you ready? Would you
rather spend a lifetime in the hotelof Hell for four years in a dorm
with eleven roommates? Definitely the fouryears over the lifetime in a hotel of
Hell? Okay? Would you ratherlive in a coffin or a haunted house?

(18:32):
Haunted house? Yeah, coffin fieldsvery constrictive. Who would pick coffin
to live in sleep in. Ican, I could see collin. It's
a very big coffin. It's ahouse size coffin that I pick coffin.
Okay. Would you rather go toa Halloween party or trick or treat?
Trick or treat? Trick or treatfor me too? Yeah? We did

(18:52):
have a Halloween party, did horisma? If you're an awesome Halloween party.
We even wore a tuples house toour first costumes. I was ready,
Yeah, we can, Uh,maybe we'll throw a picture in here if
I remember you said, Michayla apicture. Yeah, but it was really
fun. Yeah, but I'd stillrather turt re treat. I was late.

(19:14):
Yeah, candy, candy, it'sso nostalgic, it is all right.
Would you rather be a witch ora vampire's not caught like in real
life? Or a costume in reallife? I think a vampire don't they
live forever? I'd like to bea witch. A witch. If you
get a little bit of water splashedon you, you melt. I don't
think that's true. Have you neverseen the Wizard of Oz? You pick

(19:37):
now expecting that that traumatized me asa kid. I was a bit of
hot water for a long time. But we've said this before from the video,
my mom and dad, maybe itwas my nana. I can't remember

(19:59):
who took me to like Nie thepool on ice, Yeah, I think
or it might have been like achildren in This playhouse, but it was
a live action many of the pooand in one scene, Tanda tried to
give two Rue the bath, andthe bath in the play was like a

(20:22):
steaming what you know, like yeah, they made the bathtub steam on stage
and Rue didn't want to get inbecause she said it's too hot. And
I know this could not have beenwhat they did, but in my memory,
Kanda was like, don't care.Put real in the tub and was

(20:47):
like, Remo, it's too hot, it's too high. And from then
on, for like a year,I I was so scared of my bath
wirior be into your hot I wouldlike make my mom or dad like check
it, like showing me the wayertouch my like pinky toe before you put

(21:08):
me in. They're like shame ornot put even like boiling water. I
was like, just in days,I really want to know what the scene
actually was because I'm sure it wasn'trude. Screaming in a bathtub that she
was burning. I can't remember.Yeah, it was traumatic, but I'm

(21:33):
not now like today, I stillhave last damn. Like when you've washed
my hands in a bowl, I'mlike, is it hot? I feel
it? You know? If thewater starts to get a little warmer in
the shower, You're like, oh, I think it's getting hotter. Okay.
Would you rather watch a horror movieor tell ghost stories? Watching?

(21:56):
Maybe she's easier. Yeah. Wouldyou rather eat candy apples or pumpkin pie?
Pumpkin pie all day? Dandy appleswould ruin my mouth? Yeah,
you can't. I'd probably die.Dandy apvils would kill me. I wouldn't.
Would you rather dress up as amummy or a black cat? But
hat mummy? I think that'd befun. Black caster is easier. Would

(22:19):
you rather be chased by Freddy orJason? Oh? Yeah, I don't
know's I don't know. Nightmare onElm Street I don'd or bad Halloween people
neither, I don't know. DoesJason see the one that only walks?
I'd rather go, like, bechased by the one that doesn't run.
I feel like Jason doesn't run,He only seems to manage to capture his

(22:41):
victims there walking. Would you rathersee a zombie or a ghost? Definitely?
A ghosts feel more manageable. Azombie would be like a paradigm shift
of like, oh, we haveto do with zombies? Ghost wouldn't well
be like okay, A lot ofpeople are kind of thought, I guess

(23:03):
there are. Yeah, I'd belike, oh, we're about to die.
Would you rather share your suites orgive away your suites? I'm just
confused share or give away? Soin one of them I'm sharing them,
and then the other one I'm justgiving them all away, so some of
you get some. Yeah, Ilike that one. I'd like to share.

(23:23):
I would like some of my speechif it's keep or share? Keep.
I thought about being I thought aboutbeing a good person for a second,
share, and I remembered, no, I want to keep all of
it. What about you give away? Probably give away? Visit a cemetery
or a creepy castle? I wantto go to a cause I've been to

(23:48):
a cemetery. Would you rather playhide and seek or truth or dare?
Hide and seek? See? Whatabout you hide seat? I was so
bad at hide and seek? Yeah, that's sad for you. I did
never hide. Yeah. Did youever play it like in your neighborhood though?
Like man Hunt? Yeah, manHunt? Yeah, Like I was

(24:11):
also pretty bad at that. Ideveloped man Hunt by damn. I really
often outside the bounds, like youwould establish it's this road to this road,
yeah, you know, in allfour directions, and I would go
outside of that and then like sitbehind that. Would you rather get bitten

(24:32):
by a bat or a vampire?A vampire? The vampire vampire bat?
You just get radiation about? No? Would you rather stand on a pool
of blood or human bones? On? Yeah, stand on a pool of

(24:53):
blood I don't know, Shane,or stand on human bones? And they
came up with all of these.I didn't. I did not blood skinning
your bones and hurting my little toes. Wait, I'm actually dying at the
next one. I'm dying at thenext one. It doesn't make any sense.
Would you rather talk like an owl? Oh, I guess, or

(25:17):
Frankenstein like Frankenstein, I just frankand son dah why dog bird monster does
he speak? Doesn't he just golike oh, oh right, we know
Frankenstein isn't even the monster Frankenston isa scientist. Yeah, you're right,
Franein, You're right, You're right, But I think they mean the monster

(25:37):
hm hmm. And the owl waslike who who I know? Do the
owl? At least I'm like totontay one question who? Yeah, I'll
do who. That's it? Oh, I have one more for you.
Would you rather hey cup full ofeweie gey worms or fool freepy crawley fritters.

(26:06):
Spiders? Spiders are worms? Shanea full cup? No neither.
I can't then worms not spiders.I can't eat a spider worms. I
love worms, okay everyone. Iate a dragged worm when I was young,

(26:32):
a worm or like a centipede thing. There was I e those two.
I ate a barbecue flavored one.It was at a field trip at
some science museum. They like madeus eat them. They made is a
hard word. They were like doyou want this? And I was like,
yeah, that's just what my momused to service. Okay, just
kiddy, alright, everyone that doesit. First Halloweenween episode, you should

(26:56):
have worn our costumes. Yeah, yeah, there's too much work. That's
how same that you have on?I thought you were what am I?
Grape juice and what are you?I am your tree, comfy tree.
All right, that's all. Ifyou enjoyed this episode, yes, please
like, comment, subscribe, review, all of that stuff. And it's

(27:19):
a junkyard out there. It's ahaunted junk yard rare. We have a
spooky owl speaking like Frankenstein's monster, standing in a pool of blood and bones
and prefer him to get trick yourtree over how they even petty? Goodbye by
