But now, in newly filed legal motions and expert reports, the young mother is unveiling a striking potential defense: she didn’t know she was pregnant, panicked during a medical emergency, and the tragedy was an accident. Prosecutors say the evidence tells a very different story—including disturbing text messages and an autopsy indicating fatal injuries.
