Speaker 1 (00:08):
Good evening, and welcome to tonight's edition of Real America.
I'm David Pollock in for Dan Ball. This week. We
begin tonight with the latest in the Palmetto state. South
Carolina is gearing up for a hotly contested GOP primary
as several candidates vi to succeed term limited Governor Henry
McMaster in the twenty twenty six gubernatorial race. Representative for

(00:30):
South Carolina's first congressional district, Nancy Mace officially throwing her
hat into the ring today for the state's chief executive.
She'll join a crowded field that includes some well known figures,
including fellow South Carolina GOP Congressman Ralph Norman, Attorney General
Alan Wilson, Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evitt, and State Senator Josh Kimberl. Mace,

(00:54):
who has more recently aligned closely with the MAGA movement,
shared a campaign video titled Huge Maga Announcement, signaling her
intention to be a super MAGA governor. Her House Republican has.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Drawn me ira both Democrats and members of her own party.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
She has a way of getting under their skins. Representative
Nancy Mace, Nancy May.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
Fireman Republican Congresswoman Nancy.

Speaker 5 (01:18):
Mays, she is a fighter. I know about that. She's
a fighter.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
She learned resilience early on.

Speaker 6 (01:23):
Mace became the first woman to graduate from South Carolina's
famed military college. And you've taken a lot of abews
for standing up for the rights of women. But what
they forget is that Laura, I'm her first woman to
graduated from the Citadel.

Speaker 7 (01:35):
I will not be bullied into silence.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Nancy May scores a huge victory in her fight to
keep biological men out of women's bathroom, we will.

Speaker 6 (01:42):
Be courageous, We will be resilience.

Speaker 8 (01:46):
When she sets her sight on something, She's tough, and
we will be prepared to take on the challenges of
this historic moment.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Here now the congresswoman for South Carolina's first congressional district,
as well as gubernatorial candidate. Now this Nancy Mace. Welcome
so much to the show. Big day to day, big announcement.
We were all waiting for. Tell me what's today like
for you?

Speaker 7 (02:20):
I was been very It was been very humbling.

Speaker 6 (02:22):
We had many people show up this morning for a
seven thirty in the morning announcement. All the press was like,
why are we doing this this early, and I was like,
I have a job to do.

Speaker 7 (02:31):
We have to get to work to make South Carolina begger, better, greater, more.

Speaker 6 (02:36):
Strong, and successful than ever with conservative values, America First values.
We have a real opportunity in the midterms in twenty
twenty six to just crush it for Donald Trump and
crush it for our country with America First and MAGA
governors all across the country.

Speaker 7 (02:50):
And that's what I'm going to bring to the table
in South Carolina.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
You've been a fighter in Congress, and you know you've
really worked hard to make sure that we implement Trump's
agenda right now. What made you say, you know what,
it's time for me to jump in the gubernatorial race
and focus on South Carolina.

Speaker 6 (03:05):
Well, I believe in term limits, and I said when
I first ran for Congress, I would only do three terms.
And I believe if you're going to be four term limits,
you have to put your money where your mouth is.

Speaker 7 (03:14):
And so it's time to.

Speaker 6 (03:15):
Give the give it to somebody else next year and
move on to something bigger and better. I've learned a
lot over the last five years or so in Congress
how to draft more conservative legislation, how to support the
president's agenda, understanding his agenda and being successful at it.
And so that's what I'm going to bring to the table.
I'm not even governor yet, and the colleges and universes

(03:37):
here they're scrambling because we're eliminating genders the minute that
I have my eye on you, whether it's high taxes
or you get a form of fifteen genders on it
with male and female, aren't two people are scared to
death and they should be because I'm going to bring
common sense back to South Carolina on behalf of Donald
Trump common sense.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Imagine that. Let me turn to South Carolina. So what
are the big issues you see right now South Carolina?
And which one would you tackle on day one?

Speaker 6 (04:03):
Well, this morning I also unveiled my vision for the
path to prosperity for South Carolina. We have the highest
state income tax in the Southeast, hovering around six percent.
I have a five year plan to take it down
to zero. We have law and order that's necessary here
because we have rogue prosecutors, rogue attorney generals who aren't
prosecuting murderers, rapists, and pedophiles. Even though we're a red State,

(04:27):
we banned sanctuary policies. We had a sanctuary sheriff in
South Carolina last year letting out illegal aliens who are rapists, murderers,
and child molesters and pedophiles, and no one at the
state level, no statewide officials spoke up to stop it.
But I did, and I got our fired last year
with the voters of South Carolina.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Staying on the topic of immigration, you've seen in Florida,
Governor DeSantis has put basically a task force together to
round up as many illegal aliens and deport them as possible.
Are you seeing yourself doing something similar in South Carolina
right away?

Speaker 7 (04:56):
Absolutely?

Speaker 6 (04:57):
And I've already identified multiple facilities in South Carolina where
the state could house illegal aliens through the deportation process.
We don't have enough beds that we're using right now,
but we do have plenty of space, and I want
to see the state do that.

Speaker 7 (05:10):
And states actually can get.

Speaker 6 (05:11):
Reimbursed for bed space when they are working with ICE
or DHS to deport illegals. And that's something that needs
to be a priority for the next governor of South Carolina,
a real priority, just like Florida.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Do you guys have alligators in South Carolina. You can
put it around the facilities.

Speaker 7 (05:27):
Just a few feet from here, we have plenty.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Alligator Alcatraz Part two coming soon. Let's talk about education
in the state, because also tonight on the show, we
were looking forward to back to school and so as
far as education is concerned in South Carolina, where do
you see an opportunity to improve education in South Carolina
to make it lead the country.

Speaker 6 (05:48):
Well, we want to expand more on school choice, of course,
but I have two policies I want to implement. Actually
I'm taking from Florida in this. I want to automatically
mandate kids who can't read by third grade they don't
move up to fourth grade. And if they can't read
or write by third grade, they should be assigned reading
mentor war and be required to read ninety minutes a today.

Speaker 7 (06:07):
Florida does that. South Carolina can do it too.

Speaker 6 (06:10):
Secondly, I want to have a second track for high
school graduates. If you're not going to go on to
get a tour or four year degree, we want to
make sure that you are jobs certified on day one,
the day after you graduate high school to take high
paying jobs that are vocational like a plumber and electrician,
a welder. These are six figure jobs for the right
student who's qualified to take them, but they've got to

(06:30):
be certified. I want them to get their high school
diploma in those high skilled jobs.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
You have also been an advocate for President Trump. We
talked about this a few seconds ago, but now a
lot of people are trying to criticize you and question
that loyalty. How do you respond to them?

Speaker 6 (06:46):
Well, I mean, quite honestly, I just point out the lies,
and I happily do it. I've been with President Trump
and his policies, even when we disagree on occasion, I've
always been with him politically and from a policy perspective.
Every single one of the policies I embraced.

Speaker 7 (07:01):
I've seen him. I've been supportive of his as well.

Speaker 6 (07:03):
And you know, I kind of liken myself to Trump
and high heels a little bit. I can be bombastic
like the President, but I can also be very effective
at legislating. I'm one of the top drafters of bills
and legislation in all of Congress, out of four and
thirty five people. I'm in the top one point five
to nine percent. So I'm policy driven, but I also,
don't take any bs. I don't take any lives. And

(07:25):
if you've made a deal with me, we're going to
get it done no matter what. And I don't mind
using words like Donald Trump does. He's been very effective,
He's been a great leader, and I think he's a
great role model for governors across the country.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Look, you're a very high profile congresswoman, but for people
that may have just not been paying attention to Washington
and they're learning from you as a gubernatorial candidate for
the first time, what's your message right out the gate
for somebody who's just getting introduced to you.

Speaker 6 (07:50):
Well, I'm going to put America and her people first,
and most importantly, as governor of South Carolina, I'm going
to put every single hardworking South Carolinian first, and I'm
going to implement our Mayora Maga agenda on day one.
No one will work harder for South Carolina or any
other American across the country.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
I will. Congresswoman, potentially future governor, thank you so much
for joining us. We're going to be watching your raise
very closely, and hopefully we can talk to you a
bunch along the way and see how it's going. And
wishing me the best of.

Speaker 7 (08:19):
Luck, and they can find us at Nancy Maas dot org.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Nancy Mayce dot org. Go check it out. Everybody. Thanks
again for joining us, and we'll keep keep track on
everything that's going on.

Speaker 7 (08:28):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Take care. We'll also be keeping a close eye on
former South Carolina Lieutenant Governor Andre Bauer in his bid
for the Senate. Bauer has announced a Republican primary challenge
to Senator Lindsay Graham for the twenty twenty sixth election,
criticizing Graham for not being conservative enough and for his
longevity in office. Hey, we just heard Nancy may say

(08:50):
she believes in term limits. Bauer positions himself as a
staunch Trump and America FIR supporter, contrasting himself with Graham
and accusing the Senator of yielding to Democrat positions on
issues like immigration and climate policy. Up next, we'll delve
into the rising tensions between the United States and Russia

(09:11):
with retired Air Force combat vet and host of the
Rob Manas Show, Rob Manus himself. We'll be right back.

Speaker 2 (09:18):

Speaker 1 (11:42):
A dramatic escalation in the war of words between the
United States and Russia over its conflict with Ukraine. This
leads President Trump to reposition nuclear submarines closer to Russian waters.
The Commander in Chief order two US nuclear submarine to
be moved to appropriate regions near Russia in response to

(12:04):
highly provocative statements by former Russian president Dmitri medev Vedev,
now deputy Chairman of Russia's National Security Council. Trump posting
this message to social media that reads, in part, I
have ordered two nuclear submarines to be repositioned in the
appropriate regions just in case these foolish and inflammatory statements

(12:25):
are more than just that. Words are very important and
can often lead to unintended consequences. I hope this will
not be one of those instances. Thank you for your
attention to this matter, very popular line these days in
Trump communications. Moscow is attempting to downplay the provocation, saying
American nuclear submarines are regularly on alert and present in

(12:49):
the various parts of the world. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitri Peskov
called for caution in nuclear rhetoric from all sides, emphasizing
the delicacy of the subject and urging restraint. With mounting
sanctions already crippling Russia's economy and military capabilities, The pressing
question remains, is there anything Moscow can do to avoid

(13:10):
further political and economic penalties.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
Isn't there anything they can do to avoid sanctions.

Speaker 7 (13:16):
At this point?

Speaker 8 (13:18):
Yeah, I get a deal where people stopped getting killed.
They had a number that just came out that a
tremendous number of Russian soldiers are being killed, and likewise
Ukraine a lower number, but still thousands and thousands of people.

Speaker 5 (13:33):
And now we're adding towns with it being hit by missiles.

Speaker 8 (13:37):
So it's a lot of people being killed in that
ridiculous war.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
And you know, we stopped.

Speaker 8 (13:42):
We stopped a lot of countries from war India and Pakista,
we stopped a lot of countries and.

Speaker 5 (13:51):
We're going to get that one's s upped too. Somehow,
we're going to get that one's up.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
The upcoming week could be crucial in the Russia Ukraine war,
with the deadline set by President Trump for the Kremlin
to negotiate peace quickly approaching. Trump's Special Envoy Steve Witkoff,
is expected in Moscow midweek, just ahead of the Friday
deadline for Russian A Hault hostilities or risk severe new
US sanctions and tariffs, including secondary sanctions on countries buying

(14:18):
Russian oil, such as China and India. Russian President Vladimir
Putin is reportedly willing to meet face to face with
Ukrainian President Zelenski, but only after unspecified preparatory steps are
taken at the highest levels. Peace negotiations previously held in
Istanbul are currently stalled, with Putin blaming a lack of

(14:39):
Ukrainian readiness for further engagement, while reiterating that Russia seeks
a long term, sustainable peace, not merely a short ceasefire
allowing Ukrainian rearmament. Joining US now to discuss all of
this is retired Air Force combat vet and host of
the rob maina show, My Good Friend Rob manas, how

(15:00):
are you doing, my friend, David?

Speaker 9 (15:02):
Thanks for having me on. David, Well, it is.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
My absolute pleasure. All my friends are coming on today
and we're having a great time. So Colonel, let me
ask you right out the gate. Everybody's wondering, are we
going to go to nuclear war with Russia? Because submarines
are being repositioned, and is this just saber rattling and
more of the same? What's your what's your thought on this?

Speaker 9 (15:22):
No, it's it's more than saber rattling. But it's not
what the old school mindset people think that. It's that
it's a pure escalation and all that the President of
the United States, we know, communicates this way. This is
very similar to the old hotline between the Kremlin and
the Pentagon back in the Cold War days. But the

(15:44):
president can now do it directly. And the first thing
he's doing is he's telling directly to Vladimir Putin, are
your mad dog off? That's threatening nuclear war two? He's
openly saying, and we never do this, we know, ever
talk about the locations of our nuclear submarines, because there
are ace in the hole. David. But the President in

(16:06):
a very wise and nuanced way says, hey, I'm repositioned
in two of my nuclear submarines to the appropriate locations.
He's essentially saying, lad we're the biggest dog on the
block because our submarine force outclasses every nuclear submarine force
that's still floating in the world today, especially Russia's. They

(16:30):
cannot keep very many nuclear submarines that float well. We
routinely put large numbers of them out on seventy five
to ninety day patrols, and we do it routinely, one
after the other, and nobody really knows what their location is.
So this is what's called peace through strength. The president
knows he has the edge and nuclear submarine capability, and

(16:53):
he is letting Vladimir Putin reminding him that we are
the biggest dog on the block. This is not the
way to go get your attech dog under control. And
guess what, Bedvedev has been strangely silent, and the Kremlin
does the right thing, and what I would expect in
a situation like this for a nuclear armed nation at
the status that Russia is, and that is to put

(17:16):
a press release out calmly saying we don't expect that
there's going to be an escalation to this and that's
the way nuclear deterrist works in the twenty first century
under Donald.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Trump, how much of this do you think is leverage
for peace between Russia and Ukraine. I mean, you heard
a little bit ago that they actually might sit down together.
You know, we approved this. I think it was one
hundred and sixty billion dollar deal to arm NATO, sort
of indirectly arming Ukraine. The President has made a promise
to end this war, and it seems there's a lot

(17:47):
of pressure to do so. So how much is this
President Trump maybe seeing an opportunity to kind of put
his chest out a bit and say, look, you show
me yours, I'll show you mine. Kind of a deal.

Speaker 9 (17:56):
Oh, it one hundred percent is. But it's a dual
track situation here, nuclear deterrence plus negotiating for peace. The
President wants to be known, he has said it many
times as the peace president. He's demanding an end to
this senseless slaughter. And one thing the Biden presidency didn't do,
and I say the presidency because it wasn't really a person,

(18:18):
is stand up to this nuclear saber rattling as we
said that we should be doing. When the president of
Russia put his mobile ICBMs out and increased the alert
status of his nuclear forces. At the beginning of this
special military operation as he calls it, in February of
twenty twenty two, we did not respond. That's how you

(18:40):
get to a nuclear conflagration is by not responding in
appearing week. So that strength also translates to the guy
that wrote the Art of the Deal, and that is
you come from where your strength is and you put
enough card on the table to show your adversary that
it's time to talk instead of wasting more of your

(19:04):
people's lives in your resource.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
I think President Trump has done a really good job
of sort of re establishing American dominance on the global stage.
And you saw in that video clip. I mean look
at all the wars, I mean, between the Congo, between
the de escalation between the Israel and Iran. I mean,
there's just been one after another of President Trump's, like
you mentioned, peace through strength, that's resulted in a lot
of pieces. I think he should get the Nobel Prize.

(19:28):
I mean, look, when Biden was president, it all seemed
but inevitable that China was going to invade Taiwan. It
seemed inevitable that North Korea would continue to test their
ballistic missiles. I mean, it looked like the war and
don't forget the war started between Russian and Ukraine when
Biden was president. So President Trump has really, I think,
done a great job. But how optimistic are you though

(19:49):
that we'll get some sort of stop to aggressions I
guess between Russia and Ukraine. I mean you think we're
getting close.

Speaker 9 (19:58):
I wouldn't say we're close, but we are on the
road and moving. That's the difference between the Biden administration
and the Trump administration. And with these messaging, this messaging
that's coming out of the Kremlin about the peace talks
and those kind of things, Now that's an indicator that
instead of escalating, like even somebody like me said this

(20:20):
might be a mild escalation when the President tweeted that out,
but instead of escalating, the Russians have gotten the right message.
But your attack dog on the leash, we're the biggest
dog in the fight on a nuclear submarine capability. You're
never going to win this. And by the way, it's
time to come to the table and end this. And

(20:41):
the Russians have said, we're going to try to meet
our military objectives before we end this fighting, and they
really don't have a reason from a military perspective to
back off of that. Look, they're establishing sedients all along.
They're front lines right now, which is deeper penetration into
the Ukrainian areas of responsibility. The Ukrainians are falling back

(21:05):
by and large, while they're still able to very effectively
defend themselves and cause a lot of Russian casualties. The
Russian forces are moving more today than they were a
week ago, and more than they were two weeks ago
a week ago, so their strategy is to reach these objectives,
which is really to take the Russian speaking areas of

(21:25):
that don Bass area in the south and east are
the nation and finish closing off those borders so that
they can establish safety for what they say are the
Russian ethnics down in that area because the Ukrainians, they say,
were annihilating them in their civil war and those kind
of things. So the Russians have to think about that,

(21:46):
but they also have to look at the strategic perspective,
and more sanctions are coming. The president has said I'm
going to go to lateral sanctions, and I think he
hit India today about buying Russian oil and gas, and
that's going to continue to ratchet up. Now that will
hurt the Russian military movement is when their oil and

(22:09):
gas cells go down, they won't be able to re
establish their inventories of their resources like drones and those
kind of things for very long.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
Gotta run, colonel, yeah, especially with twenty thousand dead Russian
soldiers and drone strikes on Russian world. Absolutely, thank you
so much for joining. We're going to watch this very close,
and we're going to talk to you again about this
as it goes on real soon. We'll have to watch
and see what happens. I think you're right there.

Speaker 9 (22:32):
Thanks to up.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
Next, Senators flee Washington, DC's for their long August recess
as President Trump and the detestable Senate Minority Leader Chuck
Schumer engage in a war of words over the confirmation
of the President's nominees. Stay with us.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
Hey, did you know that One America News network has
launched a twenty four to seven Twitter like social media replacement.
We're calling it Free Talk forty five. So why is
it branded free Talk forty five? Well, free talk because
you will not be censored for expressing your opinion there
and forty five because forty five is a really lucky number,

(23:19):
So join us at free Talk forty five and express

Speaker 2 (24:04):
What does Roku TV, Apple TV, and Amazon fireTV all
have in common. The answer is that all three platforms
offer you the ability to live stream One America News
Network from your Roku TV, Apple TV.

Speaker 3 (24:19):

Speaker 1 (25:13):
President Trump terminates the employment of the Biden appointed Commissioner
of the Bureau of Labor Statistics following a week's jobs
report that showed only seventy three thousand jobs were added
in July twenty twenty five. Trump accused doctor Erica mcintarfur
of manipulating and overstating employment data before the twenty twenty
four election to support Kamala Harris's presidential campaign, specifically citing

(25:38):
overstatements of eight hundred and eighteen thousand jobs in March
twenty twenty four and one hundred and twelve thousand in
August and September of twenty twenty four. White House Deputy
Chief of Staff Taylor Budowick says mctarfe, whatever her name is,
was fired for consistently large errors in employment data by
hundreds of thousands of jobs over the past year, which

(25:59):
he called unacceptable for policy decision making. Trump says she'll
be replaced with someone much more competent and qualified, hopefully
somebody with an easier to pronounce name.

Speaker 8 (26:10):
We'll be announcing a new statistician sometime over the next
three four days.

Speaker 5 (26:16):
We had no confidence.

Speaker 10 (26:18):
I mean, the.

Speaker 8 (26:18):
Numbers were ridiculous what she announced, but that was just
one negative number. All the numbers seemed to be great.
And so we'll see how that comes out. And if
you remember, just before the election, this woman came out
with these phenomenal numbers on Biden's economy, phenomenal numbers, and

(26:39):
then right after the election they announced that those numbers
were wrong. And that's what they did the other day.
So it's a scam in my opinion. My opinion is
just it's just additional scam.

Speaker 1 (26:54):
Meanwhile, the Senate has adjourned for the August recess without
reaching a deal to confirm many of President Trump's nominees.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck you Schumer reportedly demanded the White
House unfreeze about one billion dollars in foreign aid and
funding for the National Institutes of Health to expedite confirmations. Huh.

(27:18):
Trump called Schumer's demand egregious political extortion, before telling him
to quote go to hell on social media. I agree,
adding this message for his GOP colleagues in the Upper Chamber,
do not accept the offer. Go home and explain to
your constituents what bad people the Democrats are, and what
a great job Republicans are doing and what they have

(27:40):
done for your country. Have a great recess, and make
America great again. Great words. The President is also slamming
Senate Democrats for using nominee confirmations as leverage for funding deals,
possibly delaying his nominees in exchange for money, in a
heated post on truth Social Sunday Night that reads, Democrats,
lead by crying Chuck Schumer are slow walk in my

(28:03):
nominees for more than one hundred and fifty of them.
They wanted us to pay originally two billion dollars for approvals.
The Dems are crazed lunatics. Joining us now is the
national Field director of the Conservative Caucus, Chad Cayton. Welcome
to the program, my friend.

Speaker 11 (28:21):
Thank you for having me, David. It's good to see
beyond the desk.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
Yeah, man, I mean, look, we get to talk to
each other a lot. This is probably the most official
you've ever seen me.

Speaker 12 (28:31):
Depends how you claim official, buddy, but yeah, you're definitely
doing it, and congratulations do you deserve this?

Speaker 1 (28:38):
Thanks Ben? All right, look, let's start right at the top,
and because I want to talk to about that young
Republican thing too, but let's start at the top with
disappointment situation. I mean, look, President Trump probably has the
most unconfirmed nominees in modern history. And the weird part
about this, and the thing that should infuriate a lot
of maga is the fact that we have a Republican

(29:01):
majority in the Senate, yet we're not giving Trump his nominees.
I know Chuck Schumer is making it difficult, but at
the same time, come on, Republicans, what's going on? What
see you chat?

Speaker 11 (29:10):
We have a problem Houston, without a doubt.

Speaker 12 (29:14):
And that's why I am so excited to be the
national field director at the Conservative.

Speaker 11 (29:18):
Caucus because the GOP is.

Speaker 12 (29:19):
Not getting it done, the Establishment Unit Party isn't getting
it done.

Speaker 13 (29:24):
And at the end of the day, I have to
take a little black eye here because I live in
the great state of South Carolina and I have one
of the biggest uniparty globalists in the entire planet in
Lindsey Graham.

Speaker 12 (29:36):
But I assure you we are working diligently to make
sure that he no longer has a seat at that
proverbial table, to put any of our people in harm's
way via that of the warmongers.

Speaker 11 (29:46):
We actually have to get ourselves together here.

Speaker 12 (29:49):
The midterms are famously very low and we have to
find that mandate that put Donald Trump back in the
White House and make that mandate happen. For the midterms,
we are all about educating, motivating, and activating. Are the
American citizen ready to get involved in this midterm so
that we can give Donald Trump the House and the
Senate to continue all this beautiful winning. And it looked

(30:11):
the statistician Trump.

Speaker 14 (30:13):
There's a lot of people saying, oh, here he goes
dictating being a dictator again. Actually, no, she did put
out bunk numbers to help lift up Biden, and it
was put out later. I think it was two hundred
and fifty thousand jobs were offline that were incorrect.

Speaker 11 (30:27):
It's always the headline that gets it. The correction on
page seven gets nothing.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
And here we are.

Speaker 12 (30:33):
Donald Trump has got a mine like an elephant and said,
this is the same girl that did this here, So
I'm going to fire her and we're going to move forward,
and we're gonna get the right person in there to
do this job for the American people and put out
real statistics.

Speaker 1 (30:46):
I love it.

Speaker 12 (30:46):
I'm having a great time today, no doubt in the
Conservative Caucus is building an army across the nation.

Speaker 1 (30:52):
So you know, you saw over the weekend. I mean, look,
you have a bunch of people, we just interviewed Nancy Mace.
We have a bunch of people throwing their hat in
the ring, Maga versus maybe not so Maga. And then
over the weekend there was drama in Nashville when the
National Young Republican Convention happened. I think, actually we have
some video of what happened here, check it out.

Speaker 5 (31:18):
But I'm gonna make.

Speaker 1 (31:19):
Something so, I mean, are we seeing some of the
factions inside of our own Republican Party on display here
with our youth as well? What happened?

Speaker 11 (31:31):
All factions? They are circling the wagons, David.

Speaker 12 (31:34):
I've been yelling this from the rooftops, and here it
is for everybody to see. The establishment unit Party is
circling the wagons to wait out Donald Trump. They're waiting
for twenty twenty eight so that they can bring some
pain to us MAGA folks to finally put us away
because we don't have our leader anymore. He will not
be in the White House and he'll be standing off
to the side without the proverbial power he has now.

Speaker 9 (31:56):
But it's up to us, we the people.

Speaker 11 (31:58):
Donald Trump showed us the way is the way of
the GOP.

Speaker 12 (32:02):
But the establishment is fighting tooth and nail to the
point of actually pulling the garbage. You saw the young
Republicans pull by actually pulling thirty people not being able
to vote for one reason or another. Two of them
happened to be friends of ours, David, and they pulled
their opportunity to vote for arbitrary policy rules. Who's there

(32:22):
to stop them? Here in South Carolina, they put a
fake GOP on top of ours because they called us
MAGA lepers. That's right, South Carolina. The GOP chairman, Drew
mckissey called us MAGA lepers. They don't want any part
of MAGA. But what they don't understand is MAGA has
been pretty good at fighting for the last couple of years,
and we have resources, we are motivated, and if we

(32:44):
can get the electorate, the OMGA electorate they got Donald
Trump elected, we can do the same here and get
rid of these neo cons and put ourselves in a
position where MAGA and America First will live forever.

Speaker 1 (32:56):
Well, that's probably a great time to bring up Andre
Bauer's campaign against Lindsay Graham. I mean, what do you
think about that?

Speaker 11 (33:02):
Crushing it right now in South Carolina?

Speaker 2 (33:04):
Bro?

Speaker 12 (33:04):
Was that I'm crushing it in South Carolina right now?

Speaker 4 (33:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 12 (33:08):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm excited to talk about Andre Bauer.
Andre Bower has been out for almost fourteen years of politics.
He was the youngest lieutenant governor that had ever served
in South Carolina. He was the last elected lieutenant governor
in South Carolina, started a real estate business, has done
very well for himself, and saw that there needs to
be something done. Let's face it, man, you know it,

(33:29):
and I know it, David, that Donald Trump is doing
whatever he can to make this republic better. And at
this point, with the power that is Lindsay Graham that
I've been preaching for years and years and years, the
overtpower this man has because the military industrial complex and
the dark money that comes into him, he's been able
to Donald Trump came out very very early and endorsed

(33:49):
him an endorsement that could be quickly forgotten. And now
we have the establishment that is that is Lindsay Graham
circling the wagons, putting ads on news every three minutes
because he knows he's in trouble. He's sitting at a
twenty percent favorability and andre Bauer came out of a
political retirement, if you will. For all those that say
he's a career politician, that's just absolute, total nonsense because

(34:14):
he was living his life.

Speaker 11 (34:15):
He has an.

Speaker 12 (34:16):
Opportunity to take out one of the most powerful and
dangerous senators we've ever known, who happens to be a
friend of Donald Trump. And Donald Trump himself when he
came to South Carolina said he's running again in twenty
twenty four, pointed.

Speaker 11 (34:29):
To Andre Bauer.

Speaker 12 (34:30):
I was there at the capitol, pointed to andre Bauer
and said, you can run for any andre Bauer could
run for anything in the state of South Carolina and
win and win big. He's already been semi basically endorsed
by President Trump. It's up to us to do what's
right for the Republic in our states. Donald Trump's endorsement
of Lindsey Graham was so that Lindsay Graham didn't shut
down a very feckless Senate already. I mean, argue that

(34:53):
point with me, and you've got nothing to stand on,
Cornyn McConnell, Tillis Lindsay. It just gets worse and worse,
and right now we have an opportunity in South Carolina
to get rid of strom Thurman's Dixie Democrats once and
for all, which, by the way, South Carolina is famously
known for, but not many people know as being a
super conservative area. It's the middle of our polls closed,

(35:16):
Trump wins, but we are also the most most liberal
conservative super majority on the planet.

Speaker 9 (35:23):
That's right.

Speaker 12 (35:24):
They just pretend to be Republicans until they get their
little seat, and then they go push agendas like making
us all wear masks, closing businesses even though they said
they didn't. It's all a bunch of smoking mirrors. South
Carolina is going to be the fight of all fights
between the governor and the outsiders, Nancy Mace and Andre
Bauer trying to take out Lindsey Graham. And I think

(35:45):
we've bombed the elector far enough. And they know who
Lindsay is, and they know who Nancy is, and at
the end of the day.

Speaker 11 (35:51):
I think you're going to see a new South Carolina Republic.

Speaker 1 (35:54):
Sweet baby, Chad Katon, thank you so much for joining
and giving us your ta on South Carolina. We're gonna
be following those races very closely. If people want to
follow you what you're up to, where do they.

Speaker 9 (36:05):
Go go to?

Speaker 1 (36:07):
I'm on acces.

Speaker 12 (36:08):
That's my only social media I really do anything. I
can't do anything but memes on Facebook because Zuckerberg hates me.
So go to x I'm fired Up number two, and
then come join us at the Conservative Caucus dot org,
the Conservative Cockots dot org if you want to be
a part of that army and that change to solidify
and be the arbiter of MAGA from this point forward
in the GOP, come join us. We're gonna activate you,

(36:29):
We're gonna put you to work, and we're gonna have
a great time doing it because winning is fun, isn't it?

Speaker 1 (36:33):
David, Definitely, I enjoy it. Well. Thanks for joining, Chad.
I really appreciate you, brother. We'll talk agin real soon.

Speaker 11 (36:40):
Congrats, my friend. Thank you for having me up.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
Next dismantling the Department of Education, we'll examine the latest
steps by the administration to return control of America's classrooms
to the States.

Speaker 2 (37:01):
Hey, if your cable provider doesn't offer one America News network,
you should give them a call and kindly demand that

your cable provider will not know that there is a
strong demand across this country.

Speaker 3 (37:19):
For one America News network.

Speaker 2 (37:21):
So please call your cable company today and kindly ask
or demand that they ADDAANN to their channel lineup. Hey everyone,

Talk forty five. Well, free talk because you will not

because forty five is a really lucky number. So join

Speaker 1 (39:06):
Ever, we're learning more tonight about the Trump administration's push
to dismantle the Department of Education and return control of
America's classrooms to the States. You'll recall last month's decision

(39:28):
by the United States Supreme Court allowing mass layoffs at
the Department of Education as Trump seeks to close the agency.
The Court's ruling blocks of Massachusetts federal judge's order that
prevented staff reductions and required rehiring, but this ruling is
subject to further appeals. The ruling may pave the way
for further steps towards President Trump's executive order to drastically

(39:50):
reduce or even close the Department of Education, although only
Congress can officially abolish the agency. Education Secretary Lynda McMahon
hailed the ruling as a victory, emphasizing the administration's goal
to streamline the department, reduce bureaucracy, and return authority to
states while still fulfilling statutory duties. She says returning education

(40:11):
control to the states is a nonpartisan issue, with both
Democrat and Republican states interested in taking back authority from
the federal government. Late last month, the Trump administration released
nearly seven billion dollars in previously frozen federal funds for
K through twelve programs as part of the cooperative efforts
with states joining me Now. Policy analyst at the Cato

(40:35):
Institute Center for Educational Freedom, Colleen Harancheck and Chair of
Education Opportunity at the America First Policy Institute, and future
First Lady of Florida. I'm saying it right now, Erica
Donald's welcome so much to the show. Guys. I'm so
happy to have you here.

Speaker 4 (40:53):
Thank you so much, David being with you. Yeah, and
congrats on hosting. You're doing amazing.

Speaker 1 (40:58):
Yeah. Dan's brave, He's brave. See what the viewers might
not know is that these amazingly intelligent ladies below here,
they have been on my radio show, They've been on
my podcast, They've been in my spaces. So we go
way back with education, and so I've learned a lot
from them. But today I'm really excited to have them
here for you, because, Hey, it's back to school season

(41:21):
across the country. Some kids are back in school this week,
some kids are back to school next week. We've had
a lot of changes in the Department of Education. Trump's
gutting the thing, and so I thought, what a better
opportunity than have you guys on to talk to the
audience about, you know, what parents should expect this year,
what they should be thinking about, what big changes might
be coming to public education. Eric, I'll throw it over

(41:43):
to you first. I mean, this has been something you've
been fighting for for a very long time, nationally, locally
in Florida, and you know in Washington, DC. So tell
me what do you think we're going right now as
we're heading back to school. Are you encouraged with the
possibility that we have under this Trump administration, with the
future of public education, even private education option might look.

Speaker 4 (42:03):
Like well, absolutely, and parents should be excited for their
kids to go back to school because across the country,
thanks to President Trump and Secretary McMahon, their young girls,
their daughters are going to be safe from young men
being in their private spaces or in their sports and athletics.
Very exciting change. They can also be assured in many

(42:26):
cases that federal funds will not be used for DEI programming,
CRT and other divisive content as well as thanks to
the recent Mood decision by the Supreme Court. As parents
find and if they do find across the country that
they are objectionable curriculum materials in their child's classroom, they

(42:46):
have a right to opt out of those lessons thanks
to that Supreme Court decision. So parents are going into
this new school year with more rights than ever, more
protections than ever, and school districts are going into the
school you're on notice by the Trump administration that if
they do not follow the law and if they violate
parents' rights, that they will be held to account.

Speaker 1 (43:10):
Yeah. That what a change between the way it was
just a couple of years ago, with kids going to
school being indoctrinated learning about LGDPQ whatever those letters are
instead of actually getting an education. I mean, as a result,
we've seen our test scores across the country go down.
Kids now are not They're not going to be subjected

(43:32):
to walking around the hallways with rainbow flags or get
detention or whatever they're trying to force upon our kids.
And it's such a nice change from the FBI investigating
parents for what they speak up at school board meetings
to where we are now. There is so much hope, Colleen,
I want to throw it over to you, because we
talked a lot about educational options and part of Trump's

(43:54):
executive order, and what we've seen is a lot more
choice going back to families who really deserve to have
a say and the way their kids are educated. Looking
forward to this year and then the years to come,
what are you seeing as far as opportunities for education
besides just local public schools.

Speaker 10 (44:11):
Sure, it's an amazing time to be a parent, certainly,
and to be a student, especially because there are so
many new options. A lot of this came out of
the pandemic and school closures and parents kind of being
awakened to what was happening in their schools, and so
there became just a big push for new options. A
lot of parents are finding the like homeschooling or a

(44:32):
hybrid option where some days they're at home, some days
they're in person. Micro schooling is really exploding, especially in
the school choice friendly states like Florida and Arizona. So
it's a really exciting time. This year, we've had a
lot of new school choice programs and what that means
is that the funding that would go to your local
assigence school now can follow your child to a variety

(44:54):
of educational options. And with the programs that are passed
this year, once those are up and running, about half
of kids in the country will be technically eligible for
some form of schoolish ways. The funding might not be
there yet.

Speaker 1 (45:05):
But they'll. You know, we're on the way Erica. As
we go forward. How long do you think it's going
to take once education is placed back with the states,
Because both Democrats and Republicans have been sort of excited
about the federal government getting adage of education, but for
different reasons. So take a state like California versus a

(45:26):
state like Florida. How long will it take for the
states to sort of be able to put forward their
specific educational agendas? But also what risks. Does that involve
now with other states, maybe blue states like California, to
kind of double down on the indoctrination actually make it
even worse.

Speaker 4 (45:46):
Yeah, Well, the funding this year is not changing. The
Department recently released some of the funds that they were
holding back to review programs that involved teacher preparation and
after school programs. They want to make sure that, as
President Trump promised, these funds were not being used for
radical programs. Unfortunately, some of them still are. However, in

(46:08):
the Federal Department's budget going forward after this school year,
there are significant changes. Some of it is cutting back
a bit on the funding, but that is netted out
by a lack of bureaucracy requirements compliance and really block
ranting a lot of these funds to the states so

(46:28):
that the states have more flexibility on how to use
those funds. Thinking about Florida, for instance, we had all
these pockets of funds. You could only use this money
on ell students, You could only use this money on
especially students. And now some of those funds are able
to be more flexible so that we as a state
can decide how to best use it for students who
are not achieving mastery and academics, regardless of what their

(46:50):
demographics are. So I think we will start to see
some of those changes next year along with the new
education budget. But most importantly, we will be able to
hold the states accountable as voters. They cannot blame the
federal government any longer they're getting the funding. There's less bureaucracy,
there's more flexibility. Who is to blame when the schools
are not performing. It's your governors, it's your elected officials

(47:13):
within your state.

Speaker 1 (47:14):
Yeah, that's a lot for people to look forward to.
I know for me as a parent, I'm excited about
the educational opportunities that are coming to our family and
making it easier for us to have choices besides just
the public schools. Erica Colleen, thank you guys so much
for being on again. It is really my honor to
have you on all of these shows as they keep
moving forward in this world. And I can't thank you

(47:36):
enough for your friendship and coming on these shows and
hope to get to talk to you again real soon.

Speaker 7 (47:41):
Wow, we're rooting for you. Thanks for having us on.

Speaker 1 (47:44):
Thank you very much. Stick around up next. Delusional Democrats
are coming apart of the seams over a conservative ad
for genes, and even President Trump is weighing in on
the denim dust up, the latest in the American Eagle
advertising saga when Real America continues.

Speaker 3 (48:04):
Hey everyone, here's a question for you.

Speaker 2 (48:07):

Speaker 3 (49:05):

Speaker 2 (49:08):
Hey, did you know that One America News Network has

Speaker 10 (50:19):
Janser passed on from parents to offspring, often determining traits
like her color, personality, and even eye color.

Speaker 7 (50:30):
My jans are.

Speaker 6 (50:30):
Blue, Sidney Sweeney, Caspery Keynes.

Speaker 1 (50:36):
Not since the Great bud Light Debacle featuring the mentally
unstable Dylan mulvaney has there been more buzz surrounding a
TV advertisement, But this time in a complete one eighty
from the Beer Bust. It's praise being heaped upon actress
Cidney Sweetie and American needle. America An Eagle broke its

(51:01):
silence on the controversy sparked by its ad campaign featuring
Sidney Sweeney, clarifying the message Sidney Sweeney has great gens
is strictly about the jeens, her jeans, and her story.
The closing outfitter adding will continue to celebrate how everyone
wears their AE jeans. American Eagle jeans with confidence their way.

(51:24):
Great jeans look good on everyone, not everyone. Even President
Trump is weighing in on the issue. Check it out.

Speaker 5 (51:32):
She's a registered Republican. Oh now, I love her ad?
Is that right?

Speaker 8 (51:37):
As Sidney Sweeney, you'd be surprised at how many people
are Republicans.

Speaker 5 (51:43):
That's what I wouldn't have known. But I'm glad you
told me that.

Speaker 8 (51:47):
If Sidney Sweeney is a registered Republican, I think her
ad is fantastic.

Speaker 5 (51:52):
Okay, thank you very much, everybody.

Speaker 1 (51:55):
He's saying he loves her ad, just to be clear.
And there's even more news surrounding Sidney Sweetey that's making
liberal heads explode. It turns out the beautiful young actress
is wait for it, a registered Republican voter in Monroe County, Florida.
According to the publicly available voter registration records. Sweeney has

(52:17):
not publicly commented on her political registration or the controversy
surrounding the ad. While American Eagle has defended the campaign
as celebrating diversity and confidence in how people wear jeans.
President Trump, adding to his two cents on social media,
Sidney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the hottest ad out there.

(52:39):
Ad out there, It's for American Eagle, and the jeans
are flying off the shelves. Go get him, Sydney. The
other side of the ledger, Jaguar did a stupid and
seriously woke advertisement that is a total disaster. The CEO
just resigned in disgrace and the company is in absolute turmoil.
Who wants to buy a Jaguar after looking at that

(53:02):
disgraceful ad? Shouldn't they have learned a lesson from bud Light,
which went woke and essentially broke and destroyed in a
short campaign the company. The market cap destruction has been unprecedented,
with billions of dollars so foolishly lost or just look
at woke singer Taylor Swift. Ever since I alerted the
world as to what she was by saying the truth

(53:24):
that she can't stand sorry that I can't stand her.
She was booed out of the super Bowl and became
no longer hot. The tide has seriously turned. Being woke
is for losers. Being Republican is for what you want
to be. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Again the phrase, it's just like a mic drop. Thank
you for your attention to this matter. Here now to

(53:46):
help me out with this craziness. Turning point USA contributor
and my good friend, Anthony Watson, what's going on, my brother?

Speaker 11 (53:54):
Not a thing.

Speaker 3 (53:55):
How you doing, David.

Speaker 1 (53:55):
Good to hear from you, man, I'm doing great. Thanks.
Look behind the scenes, you guys, Anthony's a good friend. Mind.
I have known him for a long time and he
was really crucial to me's sitting in front of his desk.
So if you like the show, thank him. If he
didn't like it, blame him either way either way.

Speaker 15 (54:09):
Look, you did me a silid when I was in
that news chair a year ago, so it's the only
return in the favor.

Speaker 1 (54:14):
Well, thank you very much, my friend. So what's your
take on Sidney Sweeney Man, Well.

Speaker 15 (54:18):
Look, at the end of the day, it's just like
America is finally going back to what its main marketing
strategy was before, and it's always been hot chicks. You
want to go to a party, have a girl stand
outside in the bikini, Hand youa tickets.

Speaker 1 (54:30):
You want to go to a baseball game. Put a
hot girl in a jersey.

Speaker 15 (54:33):
You want to buy jeans again, put a fit, beautiful
young woman in those jeans, and have everybody else have
a model to look forward to. Modeling is giving you
an example of what somebody in those positions, in that
kind of branding, in that kind of clothes and style
could potentially look like. To give people something to compare
themselves to. When you have fat and obese people in there,

(54:53):
that is not something to compare yourself too. That's when
you let all inhibitions go for personal growth and you
just let time tickets toll.

Speaker 1 (55:01):
Yeah, you know, and I love that. But you know,
there's stock and you're right, it's an ad. Their stock
is up like twenty percent since Trump said, oh it's great,
I love this ad. Now I know that Sidney Sweeney
is a Republican. I mean, so this is an example
of advertising working versus the bud Light situation in the
Jaguar situation where woke advertising killed the companies. Right, Well,

(55:22):
of course.

Speaker 15 (55:22):
It does, because the saying is true.

Speaker 1 (55:24):
If you go woke, you go broke.

Speaker 15 (55:25):
There are more people that agree with us that may
not be as vocal as you and I, and there
are other people out there that know what the truth is.
They're just too afraid to say it because of the
social circles that they run in the jobs that they have,
or the salary or the pension that they're trying to protect.
But all of us here know the long lasting damages
of this when you're promoting people in lifestyles that lead
to not longevity but to the quick end because of

(55:46):
all of the chaos that people ensue on themselves through
this delusion that they walk in every day.

Speaker 1 (55:51):
Well, you're right. And if it was a man that
looked like Sidney Sweeney wearing those jeans doing the same ad,
the Left would be going nuts for it. I think
they just don't like attractive looking women. I think that's
the problem.

Speaker 15 (56:01):
Well, the left might be going nuts for it, but
the Left couldn't fit in those genes if they tried,
so I don't know what they want to do here.
Their marketing strategies are so messed up it's not even funny.

Speaker 1 (56:10):
Well, it's good to see. It's good to see American
Eagle and other American brands turning their attention back to
the people that actually wear and look good in their jeans.
It's nice to see Anthony. Thank you so much for
joining me, and really again, thanks for everything. It's been
a lot of fun today and hopefully maybe we can
have you back on before I wrap up this week.

Speaker 15 (56:30):
Absolutely, my friend, You've got a lot of good things
doing a lot of good things. Make sure you guys
followed the David Pollock Show. Good friend of mine has
a lot of good hot takes out there. Appreciate you,
my brother.

Speaker 1 (56:39):
Hey, if people want to follow you, where do they go?

Speaker 15 (56:41):
You can go to my Instagram at a Watson jam
or my Twitter. I keep saying Twitter, but now x
at a Watson ol y.

Speaker 1 (56:49):
Fantastic. Thank you again, my friend. We'll talk to soon
and take care. Thank you here, bye bye. Before we
say good night, we wanted to let you know about
a special guest joining us tomorrow on the show. We'll
take a closer look at all of the latest developments
in the Obama Russia Gates standal with my good friend
George Popinopolis. Plus we'll dive into the developing showdown with

(57:11):
Democrats in Texas and much much more. That's going to
do it for tonight's episode of Real America. We're all
at a time. Thank you so much for tuning in.
I'm David Pollock filling in for Dan Ball all week.
Stick Around The Matt Gates Show is next. We'll see
you tomorrow on a Tuesday Night.
