Speaker 1 (00:08):
Good evening, and welcome to tonight's edition of Real America.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
David Pollock in for Dan Ball. This week.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
We begin tonight with top Obama era officials who are
now in the crosshairs of a federal grand jury accused
of masterminding the false Trump Russia collusion narrative both during
and after the twenty sixteen election that upended American politics.
The probe threatens to expose the architects behind years of
explosive allegations and could rewrite the saga of one of

(00:38):
the most divisive issues in the nation's history, Remember Russia,
Russia Russia. Reports indicate the investigation target's high ranking members
of President Obama's national security and intelligence team, including former
Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former CIA director John Brennan,
and former National Security Advisor Susan Rice.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Also form Second Terry of State.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
John Kerry, former Attorney General Loreena Lynch, and former FBI
Director Andrew McCabe. While Obama himself has not been officially
named as a target of the grand jury investigation, both
President Trump and Director of National Intelligence Toulsy Gabbert have
directly implicated Obama in allegedly orchestrating or overseeing the intelligence
community's actions regarding Trump and Russia. The investigation, spurred by

(01:25):
recent declassified intelligence and years of scrutiny, will focus on
whether these officials knowingly pushed in accurate narratives linking Trump
to Russian election interference, and this could lead to criminal
charges many are hoping it does. The federal grand jury
investigation into Obama and his cronies coincides with newly declassified

(01:45):
evidence revealing that Hillary Clinton's campaign in twenty sixteen orchestrated
and coordinated the plan to tie Trump to Putin, demonstrating
the complex and politically charged origins of the Russia collusion narrative.
Newly to classified evidence from special counsel John Durham revealed
that the Clinton campaign orchestrated a coordinated effort to smear

(02:07):
Trump by falsely leaking him to Russia. This strategy involved
funding the infamous Steal dossier, employing aggressive media campaigns, and
using intelligence leaks to distract from Clinton's growing email scandal.
CIA director John Brennan brief President Obama, Vice President Biden,
and FBI leaders on the plan, but the FBI failed

(02:29):
to properly investigate After losing the election, Clinton and her
team concluded to push the collusion narrative and in an
effort to undermine President Trump, and now CIA director John
Ratcliffe and FBI Director Cash Mattel are preparing to declassify
more documents documents exposing how the Bureau suppressed a counterintelligence

(02:50):
referral about the Clinton's twenty sixteen plan to frame Trump
as a Russian agent while aggressively pushing the debunked Steel dossier.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Joining us now to weigh in.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
He's a former foreign policy advisor to President Trump, co
host of the Global View podcast It's a great show,
I've been on it, and author of the book Deep
State Target. It's our good friend, George Popaopplis. George, so
great to see you here now that I'm filling in
for Dan Ball on Real America. Look, we're all over
the place, and now we're here together. This is just

(03:22):
how we hang out, right, and we're here to talk
about something that I'm really really excited that I could
to actually talk to you about because for years where
I knew you, this was always something that was a
disappointing part of Trump legacy, was how you were targeted
unfairly in this whole Russia Gate collusion scandal.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
But now it seems vindication is coming, right.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
I mean, now when we have DOJ referrals, we have
all this information coming out burn bags discovered. Tell me
what is your take on what's happening right now? I've
seen you posting a lot about it. Are you feeling optimistic?
I mean, what's your thought on all of this?

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Yeah, David, thanks a lot for having me. You're looking
like a real time natural up here, so really it's
great to be with you. Look, I'm not extremely optimistic,
and I just really want to you know, take a
quote from President Reagan where he said that personnel is policy,
and what does that really mean in today's world. It
means when you have patriotic Americans who would like to

(04:17):
abide by the Constitution and serve the will of the
American people, you will get good results. And the good
results and we're discussing here today, are draining the swamp,
holding corrupt officials accountable, and assuring that if a president,
whether they're on the left of the rights, ever, tries

(04:39):
to prevent the smooth transition of power between administrations ever
happens again, they will be held accountable. So I think
when you have people like Attorney General Bondie d n
I Gabbard, Director of the FBI Patel, all working in
tandem to declassify files and to transmit them to the

(04:59):
Marria and public, and that results in grand juries being impaneled,
that's a significant escalation that I believe will bear fruits.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
I mean gosh, I was talking about this before the
show with the production team, and I was like, this
is probably the biggest scandal in American history, or one
of the biggest scandals in American history.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
What we're talking about.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Is a former president, well now he's former President Obama,
current president at the time, working with his DOJ, working
with his Intelligence committee, working with foreign governments, working with
opposing campaigns, to develop a narrative to hurt the incoming president,
to get a visa warrant, to spy on the incoming
president knowing it was fake, and then going after the
president's allies yourself included casting a giant dragnet so they

(05:44):
can have some arrests to try to legitimize this fake
Russian hoax.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
This should be twenty.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Four hours a day news coverage, but instead it seems
like only networks like one. American News is giving it
the attention it deserves. I mean, when you think about
what you experiencedvity of the situation and what is coming out,
I mean, are you shouldn't this be the biggest deal
ever in history. I know a lot of people want
to talk about Epstein, and we will talk about that

(06:10):
because interesting things are happening.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
But this should be twenty four hour news, right.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
It absolutely should be. And you know, one of the
greatest achievements of President Trump has really been to expose
his predecessors attempt to block the smooth transition of power.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
David.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
Look, when you have tinpod dictators or communist states or
totalitarian states weaponize the legal system in pursuit of political
power to maintain power or to stifle dissents the way
that Obama did in twenty sixteen, those type of regimes
are universally condemned, and you have intrepid journalists attempting to

(06:50):
do everything in their power to stop them by exposing
those facts.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
What do we have going on here, David? A complete
one to eighty.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
We're literally living in a one eighty bizarro world in
which the mainstream media and their cohearts and the Democrat
Party are colluding to suppress what should be the biggest
political bombshell in history. They don't want the truth.

Speaker 5 (07:12):
They want the.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
Facts to be written by the Obama administration's legacy, and
that's not going to happen.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Well, I mean, the media was, I would say, just
as closely involved as the intelligence community was with Obama
in making sure this narrative. One now, to remember, twenty
four hours a day, it was Russia, Russia, Russia. Every
single day was like the biggest thing ever. They couldn't
stop talking about Russia. And now they can't find a
way to talk about it at all.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
But really interesting, and a lot.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Of people were questioning, Oh, yeah, we'll see what happens
with this. They were saying, you know, we'll see if
pan Bondi actually does anything. All these naysayers couldn't you know,
couldn't really be happy about this.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Yet we just saw referrals, criminal referrals for.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Christopher Ray, referrals for Jack Smith, whether they were lying
to investigators that sounds familiar, right, or violating the Hatch
Act with timing certain announcement.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
I mean, this thing looks like things are really moving forward, right.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
George, Yeah, I mean, look out, let's just I mean,
things are moving so quickly now we're actually forgetting how
quickly and this bombshell is evolving. Just a couple of
weeks ago, for the first time in American history, both
a former FBI and a former CIA director became under
criminal investigation simultaneously. You then had d and I gabbered

(08:26):
declassify files at the highest levels of the US government,
exposing Obama as the ringleader of a scandal that has
now engulfed the former CIA director and the former FBI director.
Now you have actions on those referrals with a grand
jury in paneled. So things are moving incredibly fast and

(08:48):
it's only August now.

Speaker 5 (08:49):
I believe I believe.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
Karma is going to be very sweet here, because you
can argue that during Trump's first administration, the Russia investigation
basically stopped him from maintaining control over the House. The
Democrats took over Congress based on the bogus investigation. Now,
with the real facts and a real investigation and millions
of more Americans waking up to the scandal, you're going

(09:12):
to likely see AMaGA's grip on Congress extend and President
Trump never being more popular than ever before.

Speaker 6 (09:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
I mean, and you have to remember in the wake
of this lawfare, essentially where the other countries are like, hey,
wait a minute, if they could do that in the
United States, we could do it too. You look what's
happening in Brazil, you look what's happened over in Europe,
and in all these places were like, well.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
The United States can do it, and then we can
do it.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
That's why this is so important that we get to
the bottom of this, not only to vindicate Trump and
people like you and that got swept up in it,
but at the same time to show other countries that
this isn't the way and we need to stop that
trend of weaponizing government against political enemies.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
The United States has to stand for that.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Thirty seconds, let me ask you about the news today
about Epstein.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
We're going to talk about it more later in the show.
But man, the Democrats were asking, oh, release the files.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Well guess what now, subpoena isn't being issued and they're
not going to like the names they're attached to them.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Do you have any brief thoughts about that, David?

Speaker 3 (10:06):
I think when you have nothing to hide, you want
accountability and Transparency's transparency brings accountability. President and Trump had
nothing to do with that creep epstein, but Bill Clinton
and very high level of Democrats absolutely had a very
close relationship. Based on the testimony that Maxwell gave. This
is based on reports I've read, it looks like she's
actually fingered people like Clinton and others, And now based

(10:29):
on that testimony and others, with these subpoenas coming down hard,
they should be sweating and it's going to be glorious.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
Yeah, I can't wait.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
We'll see if they keep saying epstein, epstein, epstein after
this latest batch of information, they'll probably just ignore it.
But hey, there's too much good news coming out for
our side. The Meetia's not gonna be able to donore
it forever, but hey, we'll be covering it here. George Popadoppolos,
my good good friend, thank you so much for being
here today. We'll keep watching as things go, and everybody
should follow you on as watch your show, because you
were really covering this really well. If you had one

(10:58):
place for people to come and check you out out,
where do you want them to go?

Speaker 3 (11:02):
Yeah, David, thanks a lot for that. Check me out
at X at George popa nineteen. I have a book,
Deep State Target, How I got caught in the crosshairs
of the plot to bring down President Trump. Follow me
on actually a lot of developments moving forward.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Yeah, it's great book, guys. I've read it.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
I have a copy in my house that sits behind
me on my home studio set. It's a fantastic story
about what happened, and there's some also really nice touching
stories in there as well.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
You should definitely go check it out. George, thank you
so much for joining and we'll talk again real soon.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
Appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (11:29):

Speaker 1 (14:16):
Democrats are doing the political two step and the lone
Star state in a desperate effort to derail gop led
redrawing of Texas's congressional map. The Texas House reconvened earlier today,
but failed to reach a quorum for a second day
in a row. More than fifty Democrat state representatives fled

(14:37):
Texas last weekend to sideline the legislative proceedings. Speaker Dustin
Burrough says he's met with the Texas Department of Public
Safety to get a full briefing on their efforts to
locate and return members who are actively trying to thwart
the legislature from performing its duties.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
The Texas House yesterday.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
Authorized warrants for dozens of Democrat lawmakers who didn't appear
and deny the House and quorum necessary to move forward
with redistricting. These cowards left the state over the weekend,
blocking a vote on the bill aimed at expanding GOP
control in Congress by adding five new seats, and that's
at the heart of this matter. Yesterday, Texas Governor Greg

(15:14):
Abbott ordered the arrest of the Democrat lawmakers who are
holding up the business of the people. The Texas House
voted eighty five to six to issue civil arrest warrants
directing authorities to bring absent Democrats back to the Capitol.

Speaker 2 (15:28):
What a surprise, Democrats aren't showing up to work.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
Abbott is accusing them of abandoning their duties and holding
flood relief and property tax cuts hostage. Texas Attorney General
Ken Paxton supports swift legal action against the Democrats, accusing
them of a cowardly desertion and potential legal violations, including bribery.
President Trump is also weighing in on the underhanded actions

(15:52):
by these so called Democrat leaders, the Commander in chief
publicly asserting that Republicans are entitled to five more seats
in Texas, selling the GOP's aggressive redistricting plan. Through redistricting
battle reflects a broader national struggle for the US House majority,
as Democrats need to gain seats in order to regain control,
while Republicans aim to solidify their hold, making Texas a

(16:14):
crucial battleground.

Speaker 9 (16:16):
You notice they go to Illinois for safety. But that's
all Jerry Mander. California's Jerry Mander. We should have many
more seats in Congress in California. It's all Jerry manded.
And we have an opportunity in Texas to pick up
five seats. We have a really good governor, and we
have good people in Texas, and I won Texas. I
got the highest vote in the history of Texas. Is

(16:37):
you probably know? And we are entitled to five more seats.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
Here now to help me break all of this down
is the host of the Daily Fix k Daily.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
Hey care, how are you doing? David Great?

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Welcome to the fancy new set here filling in for
Dan Ball with a stellar crew.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
In the back in my life. Very easy.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
So have you been watching the craziness out of tasks
with Democrats fleeing the state to avoid losing I mean,
is there anything they don't do.

Speaker 10 (17:14):
No, they will go to the ends of the earth
to protect their redistricting. That's the fact. And also Pritzker
and Hochel, two governors who love their sanctuary states. Right, well,
they given sanctuary not only to illegal aliens, but apparently
run away Texas House Democrats.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
Wow, I mean their FBI.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
Now, I saw this morning that the FBI was going
to investigate whether out of state funding was going to
encourage some.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
Of these lawmakers to leave.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
This is just crazy, by the way, because we remember
they did this before in the past. They hate losing.
The Left hates losing so much that if it looks
like they might lose. I mean, we talked about early
with George Pophodopolis, the lengths that would go to discredit
Trump's twenty sixteen win, colluding with you know, with this
whole Russian collusion thing.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
We've seen this before. Democrats are like, oh, We're not
gonna lose, have you.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
I mean, what a big, big group of babies, right,
I mean, why can't they just take the l and
move on. I mean, they would do anything they can
to jerrymander a district to benefit them.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
They've tried this in California, but now in Texas.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
They're gonna flee so they can't be held to at
least have a quorum.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
Right, this is crazy.

Speaker 10 (18:29):
This has been going on for a while now, David,
I mean North Carolina is sort of the king of redistricting.
But also this happened in Texas before Tom Delay, then
House Majority leader. He decided he was going to raise
money to win seats in the legislature in the state
of Texas.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Well.

Speaker 10 (18:50):
The left enlisted Ronnie Earl a DA to prosecute Tom
Delay on some made up stuff, and he was convicted,
but it was overturned on appeal. His co defendants were
also convicted. It took him ten years and ten million
dollars to get vindicated for some made up crimes. This

(19:12):
is how far they'll go because you know this, literally
ninety percent of a campaign with a districted race is
how those lines are drawn and who's holding that pencil.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
Well, look, and it looked five seats we could potentially
pick up the GOP and we already in narrow majority.
We're trying to hold outs the Democrats and Timu Obama
and Hakeem Jeffries have already threatened to impeach Trump like
basically day one. They're just back to the twenty eighteenth script.
They're not going to do anything for the American people,
but they're going to do whatever they can to.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
Quote unquote resist Trump. But this is what we're fighting over.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
They're fighting to save Jazzmine Crockett, queen queen of the
weird Frontier.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
I mean, seriously, what do you think the American people
are going to make of this?

Speaker 10 (19:58):
Well, they should know first of all that Ksmen is
not the least bit concerned about her constituents at all.
She's concerned not how those districts are lines are drawn
for her constituents, but she's worried about the corporations that
give her big fat checks in her district. They're being
drawn out.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
I'm not going to miss her.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Actually, frankly, there'll be somebody else we can make fun of.
What do you make of the fact that they're going
to try to arrest these folks.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
I mean, wouldn't that be awesome? Yes?

Speaker 10 (20:27):
I mean, look, this happened before in twenty twenty one,
and they got away with it. They sort of wandered
back at some point, but you know, the Dems played
the same game back in twenty twenty one, and they
eventually relented. It was a Ken Paxton opinion that the
governor has the power to declare these seats vacant and

(20:52):
remove them from their seats. These were calcitrant truants and
they have the power to do so. It's never been litigated,
okay ever, but this is what Ken Paxton, General Attorney
General Ken Paxson is going to do. Apparently by Friday,
August eight, if these folks do not show up in

(21:15):
the Texas State House, Ken Paxton is going to vacate
their seat. He's going to get a court order now
to try and do that. But the litigation could be tough.
It's going to be one district at a time, when
seat at a time.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
I don't want to see that at all. I really don't.
It's what we have to do.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
Ken Paxon's coming on the show tomorrow actually where we'll
talk to him about that.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
It's going to be.

Speaker 10 (21:38):
Tell him hello from me, let me no. General Paxton
deserves a debt of gratitude, okay, from MAGA Republicans, from
regular Republicans, independence Americans in general, because this is what
courage looks like in the face of insanity, and he
is standing strong personally. I can't wait to call him

(21:59):
Senator me too.

Speaker 2 (22:00):
I'm looking forward to calling him Centator Paxton as well. Look,
let me tell you what's so important about the what's
going on.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
In Texas because other states are going to look at
this as a roadmap to how to avoid redistricting, and
so what happens here is the most important thing. Look,
you talk about Gavin Newsom, I mean he's looking about
how Texas is responding and what he.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
Can do about it.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
I mean, we don't need to give Democrats any new
opportunities to cheat, right exactly.

Speaker 10 (22:29):
Look, this is a this has been going on for
a while. Redistricting has always been a battle in places
like North Carolina. It started years and years and years ago.
I mean, how hard do they fight for their gerrymandering.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
They invent crimes. Yeah, they'll put you in prison.

Speaker 10 (22:47):
They will do anything they can to stop the You
know that you're blocking their agenda. And this is part
for the course. This is how much the left cares.
They know the rules, they go around around them. And
we've got to find some testicular fortitude to make sure
that we get our gerrymandered districts unjerrymandered and have some

(23:09):
really fair, compact, community minded districts there. And I'm sorry
that that upsets Al Green and Jasmine Crockett and the rest.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Of them, But that's too bad.

Speaker 10 (23:20):
Fourteenth Amendment rules.

Speaker 1 (23:21):
Will will bottle up some of that fortitude and sell
it because we need some fighters in this country to fight.
All three left, Kay Daily, thank you so much for
joining awesome conversation, and we'll talk to you again.

Speaker 10 (23:31):
Will say thank you, I appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
Good night.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
Tensions rise between the United States and Russia over the
conflict involving Ukraine. Will we see a ceasefire or more
crippling sanctions? Retired Major General of the United States Army
David Grange weighs in right after this.

Speaker 8 (23:57):

Speaker 1 (26:21):
Russia is backing down from aggressive rhetoric by former Russian
president Dmitri Medvedev following remarks by Donald Trump that he
had ordered US nuclear submarines closer to Moscow. Medadvedev provoked
the US action by making veiled nuclear threats and dismissing
US ultimatums. He also mocked Trump's ultimatum for Russia to

(26:43):
strike a peace deal over Ukraine, stating on social media
that each new ultimatum is a threat and a step
towards war. The Kremlin, seeking to calm tensions, is now
publicly downplaying Medvedev's comments, a spokesman saying that Russia.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
Doesn't want a war of words to erupt into.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
Actual war, while underscoring Moscow's responsible stance on nuclear weapons.
US Special Voice Steve Witkoff is traveling to Moscow tomorrow
in an attempt to restart the Ukraine peace process, just
two days before new US sanctions on Russia are set
to begin. Trump has issued a Friday deadline for Russia

(27:19):
to agree to end the Ukraine war or face new
tougher economic sanctions, including secondary tariffs that would impact countries
still trading with Russia, notably China and India. A key
Russian demand for any Ukraine peace deal is US recognition
of the Russian annexation of several regions within Ukraine, as
well as acceptance of the referendums held in those regions.

(27:42):
Without US agreements to these territorial concessions, Russia is unlikely
to stop military operations until it fully controls these areas.
In the meantime, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelinsky discussed sanctions against
Russia in a recent phone call with President Trump ahead
of US on voice Steve Wikoff's visit to Moscow aimed
at reviving peace talks, Zelensky and his advisors are pushing

(28:04):
for the US and allies to choke the Russian economy
through tough secondary sanctions and tariffs aimed at reducing Russian
revenues critical to sustaining their military efforts. Ukraine conducted a
series of precision drone strikes over the weekend, targeting multiple
strategic sites inside Russia and occupied Crimea, focusing on military, industrial,

(28:24):
and energy infrastructure. Targets included a military airfield in Crimea,
destroying at least one fighter jet and damaging others and
hitting an aviation munitions depot. The attacks also hit Russian
oil facilities and sites producing or storing Iranian design drones,
which Russia uses extensively for attacks on Ukraine. This as

(28:45):
President Trump highlights the atrocities of the ongoing war between
Russia and Ukraine the Commander in Chief, pointing out that
nearly twenty thousand Russian soldiers died in July twenty twenty
five alone. Trump says Russia has lost approximately one hundred
and twelve thousand souls since the beginning of the twenty
twenty five since the beginning of twenty twenty five, calling
it a lot of unnecessary death, He estimates that Ukraine

(29:07):
has suffered about eight thousand military deaths since the beginning
of this year, not including missing personnel. Here now is
retired Major General of the United States Army and president
and CEO of Osprey Global Solutions, David Grange.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
Welcome to the show.

Speaker 4 (29:25):
Well, thank you pleasure to be honest, it.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
Is my pleasure to be speaking with you today.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
I don't think people realize just what a retired general
means because you led probably one of the most elite
forces of fighters known to man the Delta Force, and
so you've seen a lot of stuff. And now you
have been working with Ukraine and with drones, and there's
so much going on in Ukraine that people don't quite understand.
Everybody wants to see a ceas fire there. President Trump

(29:51):
said he wants to see a cease fire in day one.
The parties there have been a little bit resistant to
Trump's wishes for a ceasefire. What's your take right now
in the status of a Russia Ukraine war and when
do you see it ending?

Speaker 4 (30:05):
Yeah, I don't see it ending soon. There may be
a piece agreement. I think it'll be a week in
a week agreement. It won't last like the Bosnian Herzegovina agreement.
It won't have that kind of specificity to it. It'll
be tough to maintain. You have a very large force,

(30:26):
of course Russia on one side. You don't have different
factions dealing with the smaller nation of course Ukraine. So
I think that'll be it. That'll be tough, and it'll
be violations, and I think it's a pause for Putin.
I don't think Putin will take it serious. He may
do it just because the sanctions or other pressures, or
just as his perception in the world, the way he

(30:49):
looks at it. But I think it'll be tough to maintain,
so I don't feel good about it. It will happen,
but it won't be a very robust piece plan.

Speaker 5 (31:00):
Now.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
Look, we've seen a lot of large weaponry be utilized
in this war. I mean there was a request for jets,
there's obviously we've seen.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
Posturing on the nuclear side, with submarines being moved into positions.
But I think one of the most effective tools in
this war, and something that's really becoming at the forefront
of modern warfare as use of drones. I remember I
was at when they call it Soft Week or Suffolk
they call it over in Tampa a year ago, and
I was so impressed with all the drone technology, drone, submarines,

(31:33):
drone you know, everything is drones, and it's made warfare
looks like more affordable and sometimes more effective. Can you
talk a little bit about how drones have been utilized
so effectively in showcase really in this Russia Ukraine conflict.

Speaker 4 (31:46):
Sure, we've had the opportunity for the last three years
to go and work in Ukraine. I think twelve deployments, training,
medical and explosive ordinance disposal with Ukrainian first responders and military.
But while we're there, obviously there's drones everywhere, and we
indirectly got involved with drones. Yes, AirLand and sea, just

(32:09):
like the domains of warfare. And the Ukrainians start with
the water because they've done a great job better than
Russia and destroying about a third the Black Sea fleet
and actually pushing them where they cannot really control the
Black Sea the way they want to.

Speaker 5 (32:25):
On land, both.

Speaker 4 (32:26):
Sides are using the heck added drones and they've evolved
from the first personal view is a small you know,
seven to ten inch drones that mostly you hear about
and see about. And then of course they go up
to the Shihiba drones from Iran, the larger ones. But
they're they're quite effective on the battlefield. It's not an
end all in darkness, in bad weather, artillery and mortars

(32:51):
probably still rule. So it's the key is how to
integrate drones, which is a new piece on a battlefield,
just like you know airplanes World War One, their tanks
and you know, different things change all the time, but
they're very effective. I was scared of them I have
to admit, uh. And they use it for everything, I mean, reconnaissance,

(33:12):
trying to evacuate wounded, which is what we were looking
at Kamakazi, to blow up anything from a tank down
or an individual soldier. So they're very effective. They're gonna
take take place in the future combat for quite some time.
But the key thing about all this technology, David, is
that it has to be integrated with tactics. You can

(33:32):
have all the technology you want, especially of the drones,
but if they're not trained to use the drone, if
they don't apply it properly in the tactics they use,
it's not effective. But right now they're very effective. And
then of course the air dominates the skies, which Ukraine
has to do because they don't have the air they
can't launch aircraft and other things like this. So it's

(33:53):
it's quite an anomy and it's but it's now it's
a normal piece of every day fighting.

Speaker 1 (33:57):
Yeah, you know, I remember in the area in the
army parade THAT'M had a month ago, they had like
the future of warfare, and they just had one soldier
carrying a drone. If you remember, you're just holding it up.
I think his arm must be getting tired. But like
recognizing the advancement of drones. We saw this morning Secretary
Duffy outlining a plan to upgrade US drone technology.

Speaker 2 (34:20):
We have a video of it, check it out.

Speaker 11 (34:21):
We are going to unleash American drone dominance. So President
Trump not long ago introduced an executive order to make
sure that the Cabinet put this issue on the forefront,
to make sure that we lean in to our airspace
when it relates to drone technology. And the problem we

(34:42):
have is that on the consumer drone market, China controls
ninety percent of this market. And the problem with that
is we're turning over our skies to one of our
main adversaries. Huge problem, and it's going to happen no longer.

Speaker 2 (35:00):
What do you make of the Secretary's initiative, General.

Speaker 4 (35:03):
Well, I'm all for it, but it's a little late.
I mean, we should have done in a while back.
So first of all, let's talk about what he just said.
Tied to the doctrine of fighting, you'll fight a close fight.
That's like the trench warfare going on between Russians and
Ukrainians right now. It's like World War One with high
tech flannel above you and everything. You have the rear

(35:24):
area that you have to secure, that's your secure supply lines.
And then you have the deep attack, and that's like
the Russians using Iranian Shaheed missiles going into Kiv other
places in Ukraine. It's also like the Ukrainian Special Operations
attacking strategic bombers inside a Russian proper. Great, by the way,
a regular warfare example. I love it, but deep rear

(35:47):
and close fight. Now on the drone piece, we can't
do what he just said unless our industrial base is
ready to do that, and you cannot build things manufactured
drones the way we're talking about doing it without secure
supply lines of rare earth metals and rare earth elements,
and the processing of that is controlled by Russia and

(36:08):
a few other countries are very much involved. We have
several presidential directives out there right now to get off
our butts and do this, but we're slow starting it.
We have not secured our supply lines for the material
required to do what he just said. So we we're
starting to do that, but we're slow, and if we
don't do it soon, when the fight starts, you know,

(36:32):
obviously you have to be ready, and so that's one
of my biggest concerns personal.

Speaker 1 (36:36):
Well, general, thank you so much for joining, Thank you
so much for your insight. Hope to have you back
on the show again real soon. And thank you for
your service and leadership to this country.

Speaker 4 (36:44):
Well, thanks for those words. Appreciate it and it's an
honor to be on your show.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
Thank you, thank you.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer fires off subpoenas to
several high profile individuals, including the Clintons, former FBI directors,
and ex Us at Ernie's General, looking for answers.

Speaker 2 (37:02):
In the Jeffrey Epstein saga. They ask for it. Stay tuned.

Speaker 8 (37:14):
Hey, if your cable provider doesn't offer one America News Network,
you should give them a call and kindly demand that
they CARRYAN. Now, you're the customer, and without your feedback,
your cable provider will not know that there is a
strong demand across this country for one America News network.
So please call your cable company today and kindly ask

(37:38):
or demand that they add ANN to their channel lineup.

Speaker 6 (37:46):
Hey, everyone, here's a question for you.

Speaker 8 (37:48):
What does Roku TV, Apple TV, and Amazon fireTV all
have in common? The answer is that all three platforms
offer you the ability to live stream America News Network
from your Roku TV AppleTV or Amazon Fire device. Simply
go to the app store, search out for an then

(38:09):
enjoy all the great programming offered by OEN, including my
show Real America. Viewers are always asking me how can
they watch OAN live?

Speaker 6 (38:22):
The solution is simple.

Speaker 8 (38:24):
It's a streaming platform called cloud tv. Now it's spelled
klowd TV. Simply go to cloudtv dot com and subscribe
to watch twenty four to seven live feeds of on.
The live package is only two dollars and fifty cents
per month for all you can watch. Again, simply go

(38:45):
to cloudtv dot com and do it today. Hey, did
you know that one America News Network has launched a
twenty four to seven Twitter like social media replacement.

Speaker 6 (38:57):
We're calling it free Talk forty five. So why is it?
Brandon free Talk forty five.

Speaker 8 (39:03):
Well, free talk because you will not be censored for
expressing your opinion there, and forty five because forty five
is a really lucky number. So join us at free
Talk forty five and express yourself with no fear of cancelation.

Speaker 5 (39:19):
Ever.

Speaker 1 (39:38):
Now to the latest involving the saga of Jeffrey Epstein.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer is firing off subpoenas
to several high profile individuals for testimony and documents related
to the Epstein investigation. Hey, Democrats asked for it, but
you're gonna love this. Those subpoenas included former President Bill K. Clinton,

(40:00):
his detestable wife and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton,
and former FBI directors James Comy and Robert Mueller. Multiple
former US Attorneys General are also suboenaed, including Merrick Garland,
William Barr, Alberto Gonzalez, Jeff Sessions, Loretta Lynch, and Eric Holder.
The committee is demanding that the Justice Department turn over

(40:22):
all Epstein related materials by August nineteenth.

Speaker 2 (40:26):
Be careful what you wish for, Democrats.

Speaker 1 (40:28):
Meantime, the DOJ has requested two federal judges in New
York to unseal several days of grand jury testimony transcripts
in the cases of Jeffrey Epstein and Geslaine Maxwell to
promote transparency. Epstein's grand jury met twice in twenty nineteen
before the indictment, and Maxwell's grand jury met three times
in twenty twenty and in twenty twenty one. Before and

(40:51):
after her indictment, The DOJ has notified all but one
victim name in the transcripts about the unsealing motion and
will notify other victims soon. Meanwhile, Maxwell opposes the release
Surprise Surprise, arguing that unlike Epstein, who is deceased, she
is still alive and releasing the transcripts would violate her
due process rights and grand jury secrecy protections. Probably should

(41:14):
have thought about that before you got involved with Epstein.
Maxwell's attorneys contend that she has been made a scapegoat
in the Epstein case and seeks to protect her legal
rights in ongoing appeals. Joining us now independent journalist and
my good friend Nick Sorder, welcome to the show.

Speaker 5 (41:33):
I appreciate you having me, David.

Speaker 2 (41:35):
Listen.

Speaker 1 (41:35):
It's my pleasure. You know, I follow your work, and
you're crushing it on just about every story, the big
one today. I mean, this whole they've been screaming. I mean,
we've talked about this. They've been screaming, release the rest
of the Epstein files. The Democrats realized there was some
fracture and MAGA and they were like, oh yeah, Epstein, Epstein, Epstein. Well,
what does Congress do today? The issue subpoena's names like

(41:57):
Bill Clinton is on there. We know he'd been to
Epsteen Island. So tell me what's going on in the
latest Epstein saga. I didn't want to talk about Epstein anymore.
For this, this is Epstein I can talk about.

Speaker 3 (42:09):
Well.

Speaker 5 (42:09):
I mean, yeah, I was actually a little bit surprised
by the subpoenas that went out today. But however, like
this is the thing here, Republicans don't exactly have a
track record of holding people to what they should be
held to, right, So you'll see Democrats will throw somebody
like Steve Bannon or whatever in jail for not going

(42:30):
to you're not answering a subpoena for an illegal subcommittee,
the J six subcommittee win ilegal, it wasn't even legitimate,
and they for him in prison. Will Republicans do the
same if these political hacks that have just been subpoena
don't show up, you know, I don't have a lot
of faith, but you know, the pressure seems to be working.

(42:52):
The wheels are turning, and if these people choose not
to show up, we're gonna be like a fire under
their ast to actually do something they're not getting away
with it.

Speaker 2 (43:03):
Well, yeah, you're right.

Speaker 1 (43:04):
I think Republicans are figuring out how to fight, and
you know they're getting there. You're right, Democrats, if they
were in this position, they would have their committees, they
would just they would have the media.

Speaker 2 (43:14):
They would be doing everything they can do to make
this the biggest issue in the world.

Speaker 1 (43:17):
But you'll have to remember, I mean this when this
broke and that the elite FBI memo was talking about, hey,
there is no more information in this time, there's no
one else to charge, and.

Speaker 2 (43:26):
People are like, where's the rest of the files?

Speaker 1 (43:28):
Well, guess what, though, new evidence can be released and
the Congress can do their part to subpoena these folks
and get new evidence that could possibly lead to more
arrests and indictments based on Epstein. So at least this
is a positive step of Republicans doing something. And I
really like to see the fact that they're like, oh,
it's Trump hiding and Trump hiding and it's a cover up.

Speaker 2 (43:49):
Well guess what we issue these subpoenas. Look whose name's
on it. It's not Trump's name, right, right?

Speaker 5 (43:55):
And they also you know the fact that they subpoenaed
the DOJ files on the Epstein case and the communications
that the Biden regime was having internally about the case.
Those have been subpoena from the DOJ as well. But look,
you know, one of the things that Bob's about all
the stuff is it's done behind closed doors, right, So
we're not going to hear this testimony. We're not probably

(44:18):
not going to know any of the substance from within.
I mean, this is the same oversight committee that was
working during the Biden regime on various cases and the
Hunter Biden laptop and such and what came of that,
all the crimes that we found in that laptop, and
nobody was ever held accountable over any of that. So

(44:41):
you know, I don't put a ton of faith in
anything that this committee does. I'm hoping that I'm proven wrong.
I mean, really, I don't mind to eat my words, please,
Like I want Jamie Coomer to get to the point
where somebody that he brings in is going to end
up in prison, because that's how this is supposed to wear.
The American people aren't buying the Dog and Pony show anymore, man.

(45:03):
They just they know it's smoked.

Speaker 1 (45:05):
Yeah, well, speaking of testimony, I mean, what do you
think about them unsealing this Maxwell testimony. Do you think
that's more smoke and mirrors or do you think we
might get something from it.

Speaker 5 (45:15):
I don't expect anything from that at all. I'm actually
saying that from the beginning, just a sort of you know,
like raining expectations over this story grand jury. I mean,
you can indict a ham sand which you know that
you're an attorney. Do you know that it doesn't take much, right,
I don't think. I don't think that much is going
to come out of it, and honestly, I don't expect

(45:36):
it to ever or maybe let's not say ever, but
in the near future. I don't see this being released
under any circumstance. I mean, you had Gelaane Maxwell opposing
that request today for a court filing, and victims have
come out and said that they don't want it released either.
So I don't see under any circumstance why it would

(45:58):
actually be released. I mean, the dealk is plenty of
other fliles where they can release they don't need just
brain jury testimony.

Speaker 2 (46:04):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 1 (46:05):
I think the wedge here and this has been the
complicated part for our side has been the fact that
you know, people have gone to jail, you know Epstein
and Maxwell, and you know Epstein is no longer with
us for one reason or another. But people want more accountability.
And it's hard because you know, you have Cash Metel
and Danpongino, and I have total faith in them saying

(46:26):
there is nothing else.

Speaker 2 (46:27):
But it doesn't mean there can't be more.

Speaker 1 (46:29):
But the issue is so much great things are happening
between all of Trump's accomplishments, the historic piece deals all
around the world, and then we have this this DOJ
release about these this Obama gaate, which is the biggest
scandal in political history, at least modern history, and yet
everything keeps going back to Epstein. Now, as excited as
I am about the subpoenas going out, maybe well, I mean, look,

(46:51):
they're not going to respond, But the fact is we're
shifting the focus to democrats. You know, maybe this will
take some of the attention off of what the media
is trying to pin on Trump.

Speaker 2 (47:02):
But I'll say this, and you're exactly right.

Speaker 1 (47:03):
Nick, what I am worried about is if nothing comes
of this, is it another opportunity for people to be like, see,
they're not actually doing anything right.

Speaker 2 (47:11):
This can inevitably put the.

Speaker 1 (47:13):
Epstein back into the talking points of the nightly news
and start hurting Trump again when we're pivoting to this
Obama skin right.

Speaker 5 (47:20):
Yeah, And I mean it's given like the whole thing
has been just a terrible mess since the beginning. And
you know, I'm one of the biggest Trump supporters on
the planet. You know, was with him all the way
from that Golden escallator all the way down. But I
don't like the way that Pam Bondi has handled the situation.
I mean, you don't. We already had very little state
in the justice system and the Department of Justice in particular,

(47:41):
and then when she comes on, she was hit really
hard for this. It's a reason you haven't seen her
on Fox News much anymore, right because that whole over
promised underdelivery aspect of everything that's been going on these
past several weeks with the Epstein Flioles, like, we still
don't have the answer to was Pam bond be lying?

(48:01):
Was she just like over exaggerating what she has? Is
there really nothing there? We don't have the answer to
that question, so, you know, and I don't think Americans
are going to be satisfied with any answer to that
question without seeing some sort of evidence of it. Yeah,

(48:21):
if there's nothing exciting there, just release it. That's the thing,
you know.

Speaker 2 (48:26):
I can't.

Speaker 5 (48:27):
I can't defend this action. I really can't. As what
as I want to, I can't.

Speaker 2 (48:30):
Well, we'll have to stick her. We'll have to stay
tuned and see, you know what develops from this.

Speaker 1 (48:34):
I'm going to remain optimistic, uh for now, We'll see
what happens. Nick, Thank you so much for joining. Great work.
As always, I'm always following your stuff. Everybody should follow you.
And if they wanted to do that to get all
the information, where should they go.

Speaker 4 (48:48):
On?

Speaker 5 (48:49):
Accidentally use the other platforms because they pretty body just
banned me fake news or whatever ends up being right
like Trump ninety percent of the time. So at Nicks order,
N I C K S R T O R. I
appreciate you, David.

Speaker 2 (48:58):
Yeah, everybody should go far. Nick, thank you so much
for joining. Hi figure stick around.

Speaker 1 (49:04):
Up next, former Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox is joining
the crowded Republican governor's race, looking to succeed term limited.

Speaker 2 (49:12):
Democrat governor Gretchen Whitmer.

Speaker 1 (49:15):
We'll delve into his political platform when Real America continues.

Speaker 6 (49:21):
Hey everyone, here's a question for you.

Speaker 8 (49:24):

Speaker 1 (51:37):
The detestable Governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer, continues to postpone
a special election of phil the vacant thirty fifth State
Senate seat, which has been empty since Kristin McDonald rivett
resigned to join Congress in January twenty twenty five. Republicans
are blasting Whitmer, claiming she's deliberately delaying the vote to

(51:58):
protect the narrow nineteen to eighteen Democrat majority in the
Michigan Senate. The governor has previously called special elections promptly
in other situations, but has remained silent in this instance.
Imagine that the thirty thirty fifth district is a competitive
swing district and if a Republican were to win in
a low turnout special election, it could lead to a

(52:20):
tied Senate, potentially shifting power to the GOP.

Speaker 2 (52:36):
And that brings us to tonight's candidate spotlight.

Speaker 1 (52:40):
Former Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox is joining the crowded
Republican governor's race, looking to succeed term limited Democrat Governor
Gretchen Whitmer. Cox served as Michigan's attorney general from two
thousand and three to twenty eleven.

Speaker 2 (52:54):
His campaign theme is make Michigan great Again.

Speaker 1 (52:57):
In his announcement video, he emphasizes fight against radical politicians
and woke bureaucrats.

Speaker 12 (53:04):
A generation ago, my dad, an Irish immigrant, walked across
the Blue Water Bridge to Michigan where he thought the
streets were paved with gold. A Michigan where everyone could
get a good job with good pay, buy a home,
raise a family, good schools, safe streets, and the opportunity
for every kid to do better than his parent. That's
the Michigan I grew up in. We were taught to

(53:26):
fight for what we believed in. That's why I joined
the Marine Corps and became a homicide prosecutor to stand
up for what is right, to never back down. But
bad politicians with worse ideas are destroying our Michigan. Made
it harder to work, harder to learn, made us less safe.
I'm tired of being told we can't lead anymore, that

(53:49):
we should accept less, aren't you. We are Michigan, the strong,
the tough, we build. We are the land of great
lakes and great dreams. We need to stop taxing work,
eliminate the income tax, restore right to work. Those regulations
make it easier to find that good job or build

(54:11):
that new business here in Michigan. We need to start
teaching our kids the ABC's instead of DEI.

Speaker 13 (54:19):
Let's grade our schools so every kid can read and write.
Give parents the right to choose the best school for
their kids. I've protected people my entire life, fought and
beat the worst of the worst.

Speaker 1 (54:33):
Joining me now is Michigan gubernatorial candidate Mike Cox.

Speaker 2 (54:38):
Welcome to the.

Speaker 5 (54:38):
Show, David. Great being here with you.

Speaker 1 (54:41):
Well, thank you so much for joining, and look I
see you in your campaign headquarters. You're working hard to
try to take Michigan back, you said you're gonna make
Michigan great again. Tell me why are you running, What
is in this for you? And what do you want
to see come out of this race?

Speaker 2 (54:55):
Obviously a week now.

Speaker 13 (54:57):
Obviously you know, David, you're from the great state Florida.
When my parents came to Michigan a generation go. They're
both immigrants, legal immigrants. My mom's still alive. Michigan was
the greatest place to be in America. And now, as
football coaches say, you know your record is, you are
what your record is? We are second and unemployment, our

(55:21):
fourth grade reading scores are worst and all but two
other states.

Speaker 12 (55:25):
But we still have a tremendous state.

Speaker 13 (55:27):
We have tremendous ass Actually, we have more coastline than Florida.
We have ten thousand lakes, four great Lakes, international border,
and you know, we should be able to compete with anyone.
But the leadership and Lansing, the legislature, the governor, they've
sagged us down and they are the cause for the

(55:47):
people Michigan being left behind. And I'm going to change that.

Speaker 2 (55:51):
Yeah, what a shae.

Speaker 1 (55:52):
Michigan is such a great state, you know, the heart
of America literally, and look what the Democrats have done
to that state and to the manufacturing sector, which will
improve thanks to the big Beautiful Bill. And we'll talk
about that later on this week in the show, and
we will talk about this in the interview as well.
But I mean, you've said, make Michigan great again. Are
you trying to emulate Trump's success nationally and bring those

(56:15):
conservative America First, Michigan first principles to your.

Speaker 13 (56:18):
State one hundred percent? You know, I come from a
union family and my dad was a Union carpenter. My
brother in law right now is a dearborn truck plan
a uaw Ford employee, building F one fifties. What's more
American than that? And I have to tell you that
the people my brother works with, they love Donald Trump.
Why is it because he speaks the truth to power.

(56:40):
You know, he doesn't sugarcoat it. He's direct, and he's
all about making the changes necessary to make America great again.
And I'm about making the changes necessary to make Michigan
great again. For instance, do you know that the only
state over the past five years it's racist income tax
has been Missichigan under Governor Whitmer. I want to join

(57:03):
the great state of Florida and Texas, New Hampshire and
so many others. Now ten states that have totally eliminated
the tax on work. You know, bureaucrats call it the
income tax, but working men and women know it's a
tax on them. And growing up in an immigrant family,
the son of a union carpent, there is nothing more
important you could do than to work. And so why

(57:26):
is it that Michigan taxes worked first. It's an impression
upon the working men and women of Michigan. And I'm
going to unshackle the people of Michigan by eliminating the
tax on work and letting the great job creators and
the great men and women of Michigan work their way
out of this one state recession that Gretchen Whitmer is

(57:47):
putting Michigan in.

Speaker 1 (57:48):
Look, people love to move to states with no income tax,
I mean, especially retirees. And like you mentioned, Michigan is
a lot of coastline.

Speaker 2 (57:54):
It's a lot warm, it's.

Speaker 1 (57:55):
A lot cooler in the summer than is in Florida.
But let me you know, you're going to get some critics.
People are going to say, oh, if you're a take
away the income tax, what else are you going to
tax instead, how do you replace that revenue?

Speaker 13 (58:06):
Well, it's as simple as this, David. People ask me
when I'm campaign, how can we afford to eliminate the
income text? But the reality is how can we afford
not to? Because the fastest growing states in America are
doing this? But for context, for context, do you know
that under Gretchen Whitmer, Michigan's budget has grown forty five
percent forty five percent in just six years. In fact,

(58:30):
it's grown almost twenty six billion dollars. Yet to eliminate
the tax on work and Michigan will only costs half
that thirteen billion dollars. So it really is about getting
rid of government waste. For instance, Gretchen Whitmer has grown
the workforce in Michigan by five thousand employees, So instead
of letting the private sector grow, she's increased the burden

(58:53):
on the private sector by how hiring more government employees
while Michigan is shrinking. To me, that's just asked backwards,
And I'm going to change that job number one when
I'm Michigan's governor starting January one of twenty twenty seven.

Speaker 1 (59:08):
Now, Mike, if people want to follow your campaign and
learn about your policies.

Speaker 2 (59:11):
