Bars around the United States have closed along with many other “non-essential” businesses during the COVID lockdown, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t played a critical function in society…especially in cities like Washington D.C. where job-related stress is noticeably mitigated with trips to the local bar! With highly frequented drinking establishments also come significant risks. This episode breaks down the challenges associated with alcohol, nightlife, and how to strike the delicate balance between enjoyment and overconsumption...and WHO better to discuss these topics than two of America’s top bartenders: Deke Dunne (@deke_dc) and Jackson Crowder, who also manage Allegory, named one of DC’s top 15 bars!
