Earth Day 2020 looked nothing like the original plan: celebrities and scientists marching and uniting along with millions on the National Mall in Washington D.C., but that DID NOT stop a virtual global effort that made history in its own right. Today’s guest, activist and trained clinical psychologist, Margaret Klein Salamon, is a leading voice in the climate action community. She founded “The Climate Mobilization” and is author of
“Facing the Climate Emergency: How to Transform Yourself with Climate Truth.”
In this episode Margaret talks to Taylor and Sweta about the climate emergency and how people can turn their despair into climate action. She, herself, was in the final year of her PhD when she decided to channel her anxiety about climate change towards a real movement. Her story will make you think about what you are capable of accomplishing yourself.
Sweta also interviewed Margaret as part of the recent largest virtual conference ever: “Earth Day Week!” Check the link below if you missed it!
