Bills QB Josh Allen racked up over 400 yards of total offense. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson had three touchdowns and nearly 300 yards of total offense. Former QB Chase Daniel reacted to the Bills' stunning victory.
The Athletic’s senior NFL insider Dianna Russini was in attendance for Aaron Rodgers' Pittsburgh Steelers debut against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. Rodgers threw four touchdowns against his former team. Meanwhile, Justin Fields, also playing against his former team, scored three total touchdowns in a close loss.
Plus, the crew reacts to seeing Micah Parsons and the Green Bay Packers dominate the Detroit Lions. The newly acquired pass rusher had a sack in his first game at Lambeau Field rocking the green and yellow despite only playing 29 snaps. The Detroit Lions struggled to establish the run, only racking up 46 yards. This is the Lions’ first Week 1 loss since 2022.
Finally, which team had Sundae Scaries? The New York Giants were frustrated on Sunday by the Washington Commanders. The Miami Dolphins disappointed in their season opener against a dominant Indianapolis Colts squad.
Finally, the Scoop team hands out some flowers for new faces who performed well in new places. Among the names recognized were Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Emeka Egbuka and Tennessee Titans QB Cam Ward.
