We did actually listen to that nearly 2 hour football podcast and for that we deserve a medal! BUT, the most important takeaway is that Lady Swan has given her certificate of approval to Taylor Swift's relationship with Travis Kelce!

(00:00) We did listen to *that* podcast

(02:00) Taylor's Easter Eggs

(3:40) She's Big on Numbers!

(05:25) There are only 12 tracks coming...

(06:20) The theme of the album is...

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Big Morning, Big Morning, Chrissy's Clique, Big Morning for Swifties
and swift Deocrats. We listened to a footy podcast. I'm
not the only one that's nervous about my algorithm being ruined.
Our friend Emma, who used to work on the show.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
She was fired about half an hour ago.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Fire for disagreeing with me that Olivia Dean sounds like
she's got a Danish stuck in her throat. But she
also was so nervous that what she listening to the
podcast would ruin her algorithm that she watched it on
someone else's ID.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Very smart, very smart.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
I have listened to it. Here are my biggest takeaways. One, Travis.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Really loves Taylor.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Not only does he love her, he's really effusive in
his comments about her intelligence and musical genius. He doesn't
hold back on the good stuff that's nice and like
it is nice.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
We said at the top of the show. The fact
he does it in front of his brother says a
lot too.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Yeah, and he's very confident to be himself, which brings
me to the fact that he doesn't know a huge
amount of big words, and he has said in the podcast,
I don't know, I know he has said, Taylor's very
sexy when she uses the big words, and I think
she does these sorts of things on purpose.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Example, you didn't really need to use fortuitous in this
sentence tape.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
The glorious fortuitous mistake of saying that to my fans
in an interview.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
You okay, So if they weren't in the podcast, it
would be on totally.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Like that night in bed she says she's saying fortuitous,
very fortuitousitous for tudors, that that was the safe word
for the night.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
She's just throwing it all out, you know, and good honor.
But see how well good humored it is.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
It's like it's light and fun.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Egg I guess is himself now easter Eggs.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Taylor is famous for dropping out little hints and I
never get them because I'm not wired that way.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
My favorite from this new album, The Life of a
show Girl, was the fact that if you put the
Life of in a streamer at the moment, the first
album that comes up is the Life of Pablo by Kanye.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
So I think she's called this album the Life of
a Showgirl so that now she will overtake.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Kna There is no doubt about it.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
I mean the level of Easter egg that I get
is that the announcement for the twelfth album came at
twelve to twelve on the twelfth, but I only realized
that afterwards.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
And because twelve is her favorite number.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
Right, No, thirteen is a favorite number? Half do you well?

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Why is this because it's a twelfth album? Right? Sorry?
I did know this.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
Anyway, she talks about Easter eggs, which is cool.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
I'm always trying to figure out how to make music
into more of an event, you know. That's why I
love Vinyl. That's why I love Easter eggs or little
puzzles for them to solve. Like the Easter eggs thing
is getting a little Zodiac killer at this point. I'm like,
I like it. You know, I'm never going to plant
an Easter egg that ties back to my personal life.
It's always going to be towards music.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
I just love that this her performance and her gift,
it's her whole life. And I feel like because she
started so young as a teenager writing and releasing yes,
she's so far ahead of the curve of everybody else
that she's now in the stage of what else can
I add to this? Everybody can release a song. How

(03:29):
can I make this an experience? And that's why the
eras tool was so amazing. Yet it's the light up
bits all of it.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
The Easter eggs, magic, the Easter eggs.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Yes, she's big on numbers, obviously, thirteen and whatever.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Have listened to this.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
I love numerology, I love math stuff, I love dates,
I love certain just that stuff like I find really fun.
I want Easter Eggs to be a certain thing. Where like,
if you are a part of the fandom and you
want to experience music in a normal way, you don't
even see this, but.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
If you do, then that is there.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Like if you know, you know, you know.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
We're doing more of a deep dive on the podcast later,
but let me tell you I nearly didn't listen to
it because this is how Gronk number one introduced Mike,
Queen and Savior.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
I was in my car going.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Run it in.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
Jason or I'm out Our guest today is a singer, songwriter, producer,
and director from Nashville, Tennessee. That's she is.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
The most awarded American music.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Oh no, it's so crassy. Remind me of Kermit the
Frog introwing the show.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
It's shocking, it's terrible.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
The Chrissy Swan Shows, The Christy Swan Show. I hope
you've enjoyed our community services of listening to Travis Kelsey's
podcast for you, because it's about to continue.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Chrissy's clique fait.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
All right, go back and.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Listen to our Chrissy Swan Show if you want all
the other stuff that we've talked about, and you don't
want to listen to the gronks gronking on the podcast.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
And if you need to hear this exclusive snippet again
my brothers.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Yeah, that's track two on the new album. Speaking of now,
I'm doing this out of order because I've just spoken
about the tracks. There are twelve tracks on the album
that was leaked, and that is true. There are only twelve.
There's not going to be an extra one. There's not
going to be We're not going to get excited about

(05:35):
this album and then book wake up the next day
and have another fifty songs like we did last time.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
Taylor spoke about it on the potty.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
There's no other songs coming. It's not like like with
Torchia Poet's Department. I was like, here's a dada, dump
off everything I thought felt like a song in two
or three years. So here's thirty one songs.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
This is twelve.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
There's not a thirteenth, there's not a four, there's not
other ones coming. This is the record I've been wanting
to make for a very long time.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Oh my god, I'm so excited. I'm so excited.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
I'm excited that it's just twelve too. Because the Tortured
Poets Department it was too much for me. It was
and a lot of those songs were shocking. So I'm
excited that Max Martin is just going to produce twelve
absolute bangers with Taylor. It's going to be like Reputation
of nineteen eighty nine.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
I agree, it is going to be good. There's going
to be some boogie tunes in there. Speaking about the
album is still she talked themes and that.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
Sort of stuff.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
I would say, it's everything that was going on behind
the curtain. My main goals were melodies that were so
infectious that you're almost angry at it, and lyrics that
are just as vivid, but crisp, focused and completely intentional.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Yeah, I am so excited.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
I'd love the words and the language. She used there
as well. Crisp and focused Taylor Swift songs are ten
out of ten.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
I agree like no more, but I love it all.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
But as in ifty yeah, I like crisp and focus
Taylor switch.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Yeah, she's smart to be doing that.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Now, you had a favorite moment that you were talking
to me about in the songs from the podcast I did.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
What I really loved about the podcast is it's the
first time, well it's the first time she's ever done
a podcast, so that sort of long form interview we
just have never got, so that was great. Secondly, the
first time I could see them together, and I just
wanted to put my spidery senses in and see what's
going on. By the way, ten out of ten approve
well from Lady Swan. Okay, many many good green flags there.

(07:37):
But I loved this because if you don't know the story,
Travis Kelsey didn't know her, they'd never met, and he
made friendship bracelets because he was like, I want I
want to date this woman. I really want to to
be pursued Like that is the most romantic thing that
could ever happen to anybody.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Also, Low keep brave of him. I've got to say
it absolutely, I'd be toomsed that.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
He did it, and she realized something.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
This kind of felt like I was in an eighties
John Hughes movie and he was just like standing outside
of my window with a boombox, just being like.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
I want to date you? Do you want to to
date with me? I made your friendship prices. Do you
want to day meet me? So?

Speaker 4 (08:15):
I was like, if this guy isn't crazy, which is
a big if, this is sort of what I've been
writing songs about wanting to happen to me since.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
I was a teenager.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
Yes, sir, and she went with it. Good on it.
I've got a countdown on my phone this fifty days
to go. Have a good Thursday night.
