Whitney Washington is an Adventure Filmmaker, Storyteller and Long Distance Cyclist. I first came across Whitney’s work via Instagram in the summer of 2021. I along with many others watched for months as Whitney traveled by bike across the United States. Via social media, Whitney weaves followers an inspirational narrative tale of self-exploration while refurbishing a childhood bike and riding it 3000 miles across the North American continent with minimal previous biking or camping experience. Our conversation cover the trials, tribulations and joys of solo bike-packing and how Recapturing one’s life can mean challenging one’s nightmares to live out one’s dreams.
