Growing up in London, prison and the police are things Lauren couldn't avoid thinking about. Seeing how they impact her neighbourhood has given her this natural distrust of the criminal justice system. Lately, she's noticed a lot of stuff on social media about prison abolition, but she has no idea what that phrase really means.
