What What's New with medis?
Speaker 2 (00:07):
What's up everybody? And welcome to another edition to what
stupod I Medics. I'm joined by borg ak Brett. He's
an audio expert and syndication expert with the Wooyes Show
Morning show that you can hear across the United States
and around the world on The Woody Show podcast. Today
we are joined by our friend Tyler ak Heavy t
Aka d at just real quick. Thank you to everybody
that came out to the TCL events at Lazy Dog
(00:29):
Restaurant and the first one being in Downy that was
super fun. For Black Friday, we gave away a ninety
eight inch television in person. I got to see the
person that wanted. They got to take it home right away.
That was super fun. Nice, and then we did it
again on Monday, Cyber Monday and Rancho Cucamonga, which I
always forget is so far away from the radio station. Yeah, well,
(00:50):
especially it's really far away during traffic, so it's okay,
over two plus hours to get there, but I get
there right on time. We had a fun event, and
thank you for TCL for hooking us up with another
television that we gave away that night. And I was
so happy that the winner won it because they showed
up with the old school merch shirt from one of
our Christmas parties. So it's fun to see like hardcore
(01:12):
fan like that win a prize like that.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
Oh for sure, definitely. And you know what, Speaking of TCL,
I was out on Black Friday weekend looking at all
the deals at you know, a bunch of big box stores,
and my wife is walking by with me and I'm like, hey,
look it's TCL. They you know, Menace was giving away
these this weekend. And she looked and she's like, oh
my god, that's huge. Yeah, the ninety eight inch It
(01:34):
wasn't even the ninety eight inch. Oh really looking at
the eighty five inch Oh hold one, no, no, no,
that one's the one medscava, which she's like, that's a wall.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Yeah it is. Yep, it's cool, dude. I told everybody
at the events, I go, look, even if I had
a studio apartment, this would be the TV that I
had because it would just take up the wall. It'd
be cool. Yeah, I like it, just heads up. The
next event to come hang out with me and win
prizes will be at the Salvation Army thrift store. They
have a news store in Glendale. It's opening December twelfth.
(02:05):
I'm going to be there from noon to two pm
and it's going to be at three three three North
Central Avenue. Again, that is December twelfth. It is a Friday.
I'll be there from noon to two pm doing a
bunch of giveaways in Glendale, California. So I would hope
to see you there. And it's all thanks to the
Salvation Army helping our communities, everybody helping our communities. But
(02:25):
last week I was off. I mean I started the
week big. I went to F one Las Vegas, and
if you looked at my social media, it was lifetime
experience because I got hooked up by Peterson Automotive Museum,
who gave me that super ultra VIP pass. I was
there with Beyonce, I was there with Jay Z, Orlando Bloom,
(02:46):
the Paul Brothers. Maybe that's a burmer, but uh yeah,
but like yeah, all the VIP suites. I mean you
can see a whole tour of it. I got to
talk to Max Forsapin, one of the best drivers in
the world. And if you've been following F one, like
this race coming up Now, this is the only part
that sucks about going to Dubai because I'm going to
buy this weekend. Okay, okay, So Abu Dhabi is the
(03:09):
last race this weekend as well. Abu Dhabi is an
hour away from Dubai. This is gonna be one of
the biggest F one races in F one race history,
but it's not gonna be happening while I'm there. Yeah,
so because we're gonna be landing at night, and I
mean right when we land there will still be some
like test runs going on where they practice.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
It's just the time shift. You're you're literally missing it.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Yes, all between It'll be probably wrapping up by the
time I get out of the airport that day, and
then the very next day is the big race. So
you know that that part sucks. But guess what, I'm
just gonna watch it on the plane on Emirates, so
that'll be fun. Yeah, I'll enjoy that.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
But your footage from F one Las Vegas was pretty amazing,
especially the tour. You were just talking about the video
on your social media at menace to holy crap man,
right suites, every level, every what would you call it,
experience that every single sponsor did was just next level.
It was the food game. Dude.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
There were people were getting married there the int their wedding.
Speaker 3 (04:16):
Okay, that's nuts.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Yeah, it was fun. It was super fun.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Between you and ray Ami from the K Pop demon Hunters.
You know, nice follow on Instagram as well. Yeah, I
was seeing just F one everywhere.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
So many celebrities showed up.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
It was nuts.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
They were wearing some of the wrong gear though, because
they're not truly fans a motocross gear at the F
one race, they they didn't really understand. But it's fine.
You know, maybe they're new to it, they're just getting into.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
It, much like Tyler Fine, you know fine, because as
long as they wear the gear, it's more eyes on
the product. That's all we care about at the end.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Of the building the brand, building the brand. Did you
see what I put in the group chat that Cadillac
they're starting their F one team next year and where
are they debuting their new card? Like so every team
having events next month across the country, but Cadillac is
waiting until the Super Bowl and that's when they're going
to debut their new car during the Super Bowl. So
(05:09):
that's that's pretty cool. So they probably feel like a
lot of Americans can get behind the Cadillac brand if
they're getting into F one, So like a lot of
people are like, Oh, I want to get into it,
but I want to seem like like I talked about
this with Randy. Randy's like, Oh, I don't want to
feel like I'm just hopping on a train of a
good team. I could be on the ground floor of
a team, and a lot of people can do that
(05:30):
with Cadillac. Also, Audi's going to have a new team,
kind of new team next year as well. Real quick,
how was your guys break? I know that you worked
a lot, but did you do anything fun during our
Thanksgiving break? Did you go out about do anything?
Speaker 3 (05:45):
You know?
Speaker 1 (05:45):
I decided to do something for myself. I had, between
both of my jobs a grand total of four days
in a row off whoa absolutely glorious. I caught up
on much needed sleep. I'm gonna be very honest. I
drank a lot. It was great, dude. It was nothing
but pure vibes, and it was nice to just wake
(06:06):
up and be like, I don't have to do a
damn thing all damn day.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
I really enjoyed seeing that you guys were hanging out
with each other while I was doing my fun stuff
and seeing that you guys were having fun as well.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
I love that happen.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
Yes, yeah, it was nice seeing Tyler. Both of us
were off, so it was nice for us to actually
see each other when we're off, you know. For me,
I did exactly what Tyler did. I got five days
off and it was a long haul. And thank you
to Tyler for also chipping in, and a lot of
behind the scenes people did as well. But I did
(06:42):
not have to be here or do anything from Monday
through Saturday, so it was a nice, nice experience. I
just stayed home, I watched anime, I hung, I hung
with the Little Furry One, went to a concert, and
played Pokemon because I don't know if you know, but
I'm trying to become the very best, like No One
Pokemon Master. Hell yeah man.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Also, it was weird when I did see Brett on
my day off. He was wearing a hat, and I
cannot remember a time where I have ever seen Brett
wear a hat. He swears now, according to him, he
swears that I've seen it at least once.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
Yep, I do not know this for a fact, and
I can tell you exactly when and where. Yeah, in
a hat at a brew haha event.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
True.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Oh that is true. That with the like of a
queen outfit. That is true.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
And also we've seen him in a Pokemon hat as well.
I swear I'm seeing that vision.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
You maybe have. Maybe I wasn't there because I do not.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
The funny thing is, okay, this is really great because
Tyler says he's never seen me in a hat yet.
When Tyler and I first met, there was some major
friction because of an incident. If no one's ever heard this.
If you have heard this, forgive me if you not
enjoy the story. Tyler's first week on the show, he
decided to walk up to Randy when Randy was our
video guy in a side yes, and threw down his
(08:02):
credit card. It said, yo, go downstairs and get me
a soda and grab yourself something. And I heard it
from the other room and I went, oh, hell no
he did not, just big, big time freaking Randy.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
Hell no, that's what I do.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
So I grabbed the card, threw it back at him
and said, no, go get your own crap. Don't tell
him to get your crap. And so what most people
don't know. Is that Tyler? For that holiday, because Christmas
was coming up, he bought me a stone cold Steve
Austin Austin three sixteen hat.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
I did, I do remember that, which.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
I then started wearing, and from that day for the
next three four years, I was wearing backwards hats almost
every single day for about four years.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
Yeah, that's where. Also I swear I've seen you in
a Braves hat at work as well.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
Also true because the Braves were in the playoffs, and
since I'm not a Dodgers fan, I thought it would
be nice for me to represent and bring a little
different color here.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
So Tyler would lie once again, he.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
I will say, I will sign when when he wore
the Braves hat and when he wore the stone called
Steve Austin hat. As far as I can remember, I
was gone for a majority of those, So that's why
I don't remember.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
I'm going wait, hold on, hold on what more? Wait,
I'm pretty sure there's photos of us getting tattoos together.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Uh huh at Heart.
Speaker 3 (09:23):
And Huntington, and I'm wearing the stone cold Steve Austin hat.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
Well you know what, then, I guess I'm just a pathological.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
Yes, that's what we do.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Not agree with that.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
And since we're crapping on this mother effort, guess what
he's doing too. He's toy with my emotions, man, because
check this out to the club. He doesn't check every day.
I brought this up on this podcast. I brought this
up on the Woody Show, and like you know, we
started talking about Tyler's mom's cooking on The Woody Show
and baking her baking, and we said. I brought it
(09:55):
up because a lot of people in the room are
new to her baking, but we are not because we've
experienced and it's glorious and I love it. But I said, guys,
you gotta try this pudding dip layer brownie thing that
she makes. It's amazing, right, bring that up on the air.
Guess what he brings in Two tubs of chocolate chip
(10:15):
cookies and I go, these are great, but guys, you
really gotta try this brownie pudding dip thing. It is bomb.
During the Thanksgiving break, what did this mother effort text me?
He texted me a photo of the dip that she made.
Oh yeah, I was like, oh man, you mother effort.
He comes back from break, he brings in some baked
(10:37):
goods from his mom. Guess what it is. It's her
delicious banana bread. Yet not the freaking pudding that he
texted me over break.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
Oh yeah, look at that. It's still in our group chat.
Look at that beautiful video actually of its.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
Sweats only with my emotions.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
He is a damn dirty skatekeeping.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
The pudding dip.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
And I showed it's not it's not gatekeeping. You have
to keep it at a distance, so you just don't
get tired of it right away.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
You know, I'm just saying the rest of the room
hasn't tried it yet.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
Just remember when I say this for you personally, distance
makes the heart grow fonder. I got you.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
You heard it here.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
I'm wondering how he's going to burden you next time,
Like it's gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
Oh yeah, how Oh I know how he's gonna happen.
Butterfingers over here is gonna drop it on the way
up to the studio. It's gonna be like the chili
bowl in the office.
Speaker 3 (11:34):
So just just to go back for one second. Men,
it's this photo right here.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
Yeah, oh tattoo, yeah, wearing a hat?
Speaker 3 (11:41):
Wow? Yeah, hat on my head.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
Nice, all right, Black Friday Deals? Did you guys pick
up anything on the Black Friday Deals while you're out shopping?
I went over by the Desert Outlets or by Marongo Casino.
I mean, dude, it was packed. It was like two
mile line to get in on Black Fridy. I didn't
go on Black Friday, but I ended up going the
next day. It died down a little bit and I
(12:04):
was able to I use their actually their valet parking,
so I paid like fifteen bucks so I didn't have
to deal with the parking. I did find some deals.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
Dude.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
There's a new store there. Bathing Ape Babe is an
iconic brand from when I grew up doing radio and
being into streetwear and things like that. They have a
store there now it's the Bathing a Pirate store. It's
freaking awesome and they have items there that I've never
even seen before. And now it's starting to like blow
(12:35):
up because people are finding out that the stores there,
because there's not many stores in America for this brand.
Over in Japan, there's a ton It's easy to get, right,
not easy to get in America. And I went there
to take advantage of their Black Friday sale and they
didn't have my size shoes on it. This stuff is
pretty expensive. They had a sweatshirt. I definitely wanted the
(12:57):
sweatshirt four hundred dollars. I don't want it that much, no, no,
but the shoes were semi affordable. Was willing to pay.
They just didn't have my size, so it made me sad.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
That's a smart spot to put it though. There's a
lot of tourists that come in for Los Angeles Palm
Springs and travel between. That's a very smart spot. I
did not do Black Friday proper as it were, but
I did go to the discount stores like Ross and
TJ Max. And that's when menace. If you're into Action figures,
that's when they bring out all the stuff that was
(13:30):
a little too expensive. A Target all year and Walmart
oh Man came up. I came up with a couple
of things, yeah, a couple of things that are really
cheap and dope some Star Wars stuff. So that was
pretty awesome. And uh yeah, I think that was That
was pretty much it for me. I didn't there wasn't
anything that really stood out at the major retailers that
(13:51):
drew my eye. Frame thing I need. There wasn't really
like any video game stuff. There wasn't really any clothing stuff.
It was kind of just the same.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
Yeah, kind of for me. But do you know what
we did pick up that was like electronic? I would
say it's an electronic or maybe like just a cooking item,
the Ninja Crispy. It's basically like a new style air frier.
Speaker 3 (14:14):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
Yeah. I picked that up at Costco because they slashed
the price big time on that one. Tyler, did you
get anything?
Speaker 1 (14:21):
I actually did, so I will go ahead and say
that I got a gift for two of my brothers
and I'll explain what it is because they don't listen
to this, so they're not going to hear it. Okay, yeah, no,
so the real support Yeah I know. Thanks. Anyways, So
what the company Riddell that makes football helmets, So they
came out with these new helmets that are not the
(14:44):
mini ones, but they're not the full sized one. They're
called MIDI M I d I. They're basically right in
the middle right. They sell for about one hundred bucks.
I picked up two of those on a Black Friday sale,
one for each of my brothers who are really into football.
And then of course, you know, you boy got a
little something something for me on the side. Of course,
I picked up another jersey off Mitchell and thanks to
(15:05):
their Black Friday nice of course.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
Dude. Oh, speaking of buying clothing and stuff like that,
I did during Black Friday order hoodies left and right,
and yeah I remember ordering them so like when they
show up to the station, because I'm definitely not going
to the house. When they showed to the station, I'm
pleasant surprised. I'm like, Oh, which which one is this
that I bought? But yeah, they were having like really
(15:28):
good deals on clothing. But I am in the middle
of moving that I mentioned, and I dude, I got
to get rid of a lot of clothes. I got
to donate a lot of stuff because I have a
closet full of stuff that I don't even wear.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
Tyler, Yes, can you fit into MENACE's clothes you're getting there, Tyler,
I can because his clothing game is good.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
Man Like, god off, dude, I got lond of stuff,
like brand new stuff that I've never even worn.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
It is great. But on that note, I also have
looked through my closet lately and was like, weear half
this crap. I need to get rid of it.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
Just donate it, like Salvation Army or something.
Speaker 1 (16:04):
You know, yeah, you know what. There's a place to
donate them about ten minutes from my house. I have
two full trash bags ready to go. I've just been
really lazy and haven't done it yet.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
Okay, come on, man, get that tax right off. Now,
this is the season to get it.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
And you know what, I'd like to make a personal
note real quick now that you mentioned Salvation Army again,
this is Christmas. They got the red buckets outside of everywhere.
Donate your loose change people. Don't be stingy.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
Yes there they are the nicest people to donate to. God,
I admit they're really smiling.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
So you're not gonna give your change to Sanna. You're
getting cool? Don't be like that.
Speaker 3 (16:34):
Is it bad that I'm when I'm at Ross and TJ,
max Now and Marshalls and all this stuff, when I'm
looking at the shoe game, so most of my shoes
come from there. Now I'm getting Vans from there. Oh nice,
like the flame ones that I wear, Like I have
some Disney high tops. I haven't worn it from Vans.
But now when I go through, I usually kind of
look for menace. I don't know if you're be offended
by this though, because every single time I see the
(16:55):
hookahsh I just think you and they're cheese.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
Size eleven, I will yeah, the one that you took
the picture of your showed you showed me a picture
right now. Yeah, yeah, I was looking for those ones.
No really yeah, size eleven. Let me know. I'll VMO you. Okay,
all right, cash app whatever.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
I may, I may have you look for me as one.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
Yeah, okay, those pause are barking. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
All remember big boy got big pause.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
Yeah, well, I do want to talk about that, tyler.
You're you're looking slimmer. How's that journey going with you?
Because so I want to share some stuff.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
Yeah. So had another check up at the doctor. So
I don't know if I've made this announcement lately. When
I first went in or and got diagnosed as basically
I have two diabetic Yeah the diabetes. They told me
I had to beat us. So your A one C
number has to be at six or below, right, Mine
(17:49):
was that I think ten point nine, so it was
way up there. Yeah, so I had to bring it down.
I am glad to say that in the eighteen months
I have brought it down all the way to about
five point seven.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
Nice, thank you, rank you.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
So it's a lot better. And even now I've gone
to the docks and he's like, you've definitely lost weight,
blah blah blah blah blah. So I will say when
I first started all this, I was at about three
fifty ish give it take about three forty eight. I
am now down to about three oh four. See, we
are only four pounds away from being under three hundred,
(18:25):
a weight that I have not been under since twenty
seventeen give it take about eight years.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
Oah.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
So it'll be pretty cool when we hit it. It'll
probably after the holidays, because I love me some holiday food,
but we will get there.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
I'm really happy that you're doing this, and because there's
options out there now, you know, like before everyone's like, oh,
you know, if you just like really just eat vegetables
and you hit the gym every single day, it'll work
out for you. Dude, you can still do that and
still things won't happen for you, you know, Like it's it's tough,
(19:00):
and then there's help. I mean, I'm not saying you
shouldn't do that. You should absolutely do that. You should
work out, you should eat right. But there are things
that could help you. And I've been talking about that
for over a year and a half now and then
I'm happy to announce that I finally found somebody that
I can hook up with and like just share how
you can go through this process of getting like a
(19:21):
semi glue tide or a churzeppetide. Tyler, which one are
you on?
Speaker 1 (19:25):
I am still on Manjaro. That is what we were
going on right now.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
Okay, So that's a semi glue tide. So people always
ask me like, oh, what's the process because of like
getting prescribed for that? Is it expensive? All that kinds
of stuff. So I've been talking to this company for
a long time and now we're finally working together. It's
called Lesara La sa r a dot com and it's
a telehealth So anybody listening to this anywhere in the country,
(19:50):
they could go to Lesara dot com and they will
help you figure out what you need to help you
go through a process of losing weight. I'm down sixty
five pounds. It's awesome. So also on top of that,
speaking of getting hooked up in discounts, they did give
me my own promo code. It's Menace twenty Emmy and
Acee twenty and just go to the website Lesara, just
(20:15):
fill out the information. You can do this from your house.
You don't have to go to a doctor's office to
figure it out. They'll walk you through the process if
that's something that you want to be a part of.
And it sucks because this is the part that I
want to bring up. There's so many friends and family
that I want to talk to about this, but I
feel like they might be offended if I go straight
up to them and say, hey, I kind of have
(20:36):
something that will help you. Do you think they would
be offended by that? Because I've had two conversations with friends.
They're my really, really good friends, so I know they
wouldn't be offended by it. But there are some people
that we don't really have those type of conversations, but
I know this can help them.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
Sometimes I think you have to offend them to get
them to realize that there is an issue and this
could be anything in life, right and because you care
and you want them to have help. Because a lot
of people say I'm going to try to do this.
I'm gonna try to do like you were saying before,
I'm gonna try it exercise, I'm gonna try to eat
right and I'm gonna try to do this, and then
you see them not course correcting and it's getting worse
(21:12):
and you have real concerns for them and there's something
that can help, no matter what that is. In life. Again,
sometimes you just have to be bold and say, hey,
this is something I think could help you. I really
see this as an issue and I just want to
help and they need that because otherwise they just go, oh, Okay,
i'll try it later, I'll do it later, I'll try
this other thing instead, and it's no. You have to
(21:36):
go this route.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
When it comes to bigger issues. If you're not offending them,
you're not really caring, if that's if that makes sense,
Like I know that if.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
You're afraid to offend them, maybe yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
Well there is a there is afraid. But if you
really care about someone, you're gonna bring up like the
uncomfortable topics like.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
And you're not trying to, you're not trying to, you
just have to. Yeah, it's because of the fear of
offending them. That you have to be bold and blunt
at times and just speak the truth from how you're
seeing it because you have concern for them. And you
know what, if they do get offended, they might come
back to you later and go, you know what. I
had to take a look in the mirror, and this
is to actually take a look in the mirror and go,
(22:15):
you know what, You're right, there's something I need help
with and let me listen to what you have to
say now, because their first reaction is to get upset,
and then after that then they'll come back and listen.
And I've had to do with that with friends over
the years too.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
Yeah, because I just see it. I'm just like, I
know there's this thing, because in twenty twenty four I
talk about this, you know, because these Lasara commercials are
running now to let people know, and in the commercial
I talk about twenty twenty four, everybody does it. At
the beginning of the year, all right, new year. Knew me.
I'm gonna hit the gym, and dude, I was in
that gym every single day, man, and like eating right
(22:50):
and like stuff was just not happening. I suggest still
work out, but they're just like things that could just
help ramp up.
Speaker 3 (22:57):
Your body has changed.
Speaker 2 (22:58):
Yeah, a lot of the not as easy.
Speaker 3 (23:01):
Yeah, a lot of the chemicals that flow through you
have changed. Your age has changed, so therefore your bite
doesn't work the same way, your muscles don't work the
same way. You gotta go forward, whatever it is, You're
not going back, You're going forward. So you know, if
you need help with something like this that can help,
you're gonna take it, and you're gonna move forward, and
you're gonna become a better version of yourself.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
I know, dude. I saw one of our listeners at
the Cyber Monday event with tcl Yeah, she's like, I
started taking semi glue tide, I'm down forty pounds nice,
like nothing, you go, yeah, it's insane. And again I
didn't really change up my diet too crazy. I just
eat less, that's all. And I'm like, why couldn't my
brain just do that before? You know, like everything was
(23:43):
just so much like again, I love Raisin Cans. I
go to raiin Kings, But now I get the kids
to me and I'm fine, oh, you know, and I'm like,
why couldn't my brain just do that before?
Speaker 3 (23:52):
Because we get set in our ways and we have
self pride, and we have a lot of things that
keep us from doing what we know is easier, what
we know is best, or what we think is right.
Speaker 2 (24:02):
But my brain's saying like, oh, you're you're full, You're good,
You've had enough food to eat. But my brain before
is just like, dude, you just finished two combos and
you want more.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
That's what I'm That's what I'm going on.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
That's pride.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
That's self pride because I crushed this much food, because
I spent this amount and I could crush this much
food and this is what I've done before, and I
can handle this and I know I could put this
down and still walk away from it. No, you got
to get rid of self pride to know I need
to have portion control. And portion control isn't a bad thing,
because dude, man, you go to a buffet, You're like,
I'm a slam down four plates right now? Is that's
(24:37):
how tough I am?
Speaker 2 (24:38):
I know, my buddy, he's really into this dumpling spot.
I had no idea that they do this, but in Vegas,
at Hakkasan, they do a thing where they have a
Sunday brunch and it's just endless dumplings. Right, and my
buddy would crush a buffet. Okay, yeah, crush. I'm talking
mountains of food.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (24:57):
And he goes, now, I feel like I don't even
beat the house anymore because now he's on semi luetide
and he's he's down a ton of weight. Because he goes, now,
I feel bad because now I don't feel like I'm winning. Right,
he goes, I feel good that I weigh a lot less,
but that whole beating this system because I paid this
amount of money and I got to eat this amount
(25:17):
of food. He goes, now, I don't even want to
go to that spot. I'll just go to a regular
dumpling spot. Right.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
And that's where the pride comes in, especially with cost
and worth and money, because you're spending your time and
your money on something. It's just like when you need
to eat healthier options, you're like, well, this is three
bucks more, but I could do this it's cheaper. It's like,
but this is the better thing to do, even though
it's again portion control and the type of food. But yeah, man,
(25:43):
sometimes you just have to be this bold with your
friends and family, and it sucks because you don't want to,
but you might be pleasantly surprised because maybe they'll go,
you know what, I didn't need the help, and I
just didn't want to.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
Yeah, and I just didn't know how to do it.
That was the number one thing when I've been talking
about this for the past year of being on this
stuff is the number one thing is I don't know
how to start. I don't know what to even say
to my doctor or even what to ask for. And
so now we have a solution for that. So shout
out to Lasara, thank you for partnering up in just
(26:17):
helping out people on that kind of stuff. I do
want to ask you though, about twenty twenty six. I'm
gonna give you a minute to think about it because
I'm springing on you. Is there anything out there in
twenty twenty six that you want to do? Have events
already popped up? Because a lot of concerts or events
or just things that are happening are already selling tickets
(26:37):
now for twenty twenty six. Right, Yeah, huge thing got
announce I'm ripping out for this. Burt Kreischer or a buddy,
did you see what he's doing during the Daytona five hundred.
He's having a music vessel a diplo oh nice and
Leonard Skinner.
Speaker 3 (26:53):
Oh yes, I did see Ernest and.
Speaker 2 (26:56):
A huge barbecue and just a good old time in
the middle. That track that is going to be on
February fourteenth in Daytona. You can go to Full Throttle
Festival dot com. Tickets go on sale in a couple
of days. But that looks super fun. That is definitely
on my twenty twenty six bucket list.
Speaker 1 (27:15):
Hold on for a second. Did you say the date
of that is February fourteenth? Yes, so you're telling me
that I can be in Florida yep, with Burt Kreischer
and diplom Hm eating some sick barbecue. Yeah, watching the
greatest race this great, beautiful, god made fearing country has
to offer.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
Well, the race is the next day, but yes, thank you,
keep going.
Speaker 1 (27:38):
But the point is that I can also find sweet
sweet love on this weekend because it is Valentine's Day week.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
Yes you can.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
I will be there.
Speaker 3 (27:47):
Speaker 2 (27:47):
And if Tyler had a type of girl, it would
be an.
Speaker 1 (27:50):
All dog dev check your flags bro.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
Hell yeah bro, So that's definitely on my list.
Speaker 3 (27:59):
I want to see that I'm trying not to detur
the conversation. Medice knows I'm about to derail it and
I can't. No, no, I just take a point. Yeah,
I want to do that next year. Definitely going back
to Japan.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
Gotta do that. Man, love that sport. Can you make
me a promise for twenty twenty six? Maybe I know
you absolutely love love love love being off the grid.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
Oh yeah, I'm trying to be more off the grid.
You have no idea, but could we.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
Get a passport in twenty twenty six? Is that in
the cards to do like a Rando trip somewhere maybe Japan.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
Sorry, this is gonna be a Tyler like comment. Does
that have to be a legal passport?
Speaker 2 (28:42):
I don't know a fake na. I'm sure Santa Fe
swapped meat. They know people. I'm not saying it's happening there,
but they know somebody that knows somebody you know away
from the meat.
Speaker 3 (28:51):
I'm gonna say I had one, but someone may have
showed me a COVID card years ago, but like, hey,
here you go, so I could consider it, all right,
I'll put that much. I would consider it for only
one thing, and that is the great country of Japan, yes, yeah,
nothing else, no other country, just Japan.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
Yeah, Japan's on my list.
Speaker 3 (29:10):
But I may not come back.
Speaker 2 (29:11):
Well yeah, I mean we'll figure something out. Tyler, do
you have anything on your list for twenty twenty six?
Speaker 1 (29:17):
So I do, and surprise, surprise, there are all sports related.
So this is what do Yeah, yeah, this is this
is what I've been looking at. The baseball tour will
continue at some point this next year. And on that note,
real quick, I was just made aware the other day
that I did not post the recap of me going
(29:39):
to the Cincinnati Red Stadium. I'm gonna be perfectly honest.
I had completely forgotten about that. So I will. That
is my bad. That is my bad. I will. I
will get to that during the Christmas break. I think
I just got so swamped with work and I started
taking on a little bit more responsibility at both jobs.
So I'm just like, you know what, I I got
(30:00):
to focus on that and I just completely escaped my mind.
So I will get that during the Christmas break. I
will have that post it That is number one, but
number two. So we are already looking and we when
I say me, I mean me and my fandom, don't
get any ideas, Brett, because I know what you're thinking.
I am already looking at another baseball stadium tour, and
it is going to either be me doing the stadiums
(30:21):
in the southeast, which would be Miami, Tampa, Atlanta and
then hitting Dallas on the way back, or me finishing
off the western stadiums, which would be Arizona, Denver, Seattle,
San Francisco. So that is going to happen. One of
those two trips is going to happen.
Speaker 2 (30:38):
Now the other thing, Yeah, go ahead real quick, can
we try next year to do Toronto? Now? I would
be down to I think it would be cool for
us to go. Like, people wouldn't hate on us because
they lost to the Dodgers anyway, so who cares? Because
I really want to stay in that stadium where you
could watch the game from the hotel room. I say
(30:59):
we do. That'd be fun.
Speaker 1 (31:01):
I would. I would be totally down to do that
as a one off, and that would help me knock
out another stadium. Actually, if I actually knock out Toronto
and then one of the group of four that I mentioned,
I would be halfway done. So we'll cross that Bridgemen Conto.
But yeah, I'll make it down for that. But the
other thing I really want to do. I have looked
ahead to the Falcons schedule for next year because this
(31:23):
season is a watch and they disappointed me greatly. Next
year they have two away games at two stadiums in
two cities that I absolutely love. One of them is
in Pittsburgh. I would love to go back to Pittsburgh,
and the other one is in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I
would love to go to either one of these home games,
(31:44):
potentially both, And because I'm a sicko and I'm a psycho,
I am praying that both of these games are somewhere
between December and January.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
Oh. I was about to say, I'll go with you
to Wisconsin because I've never been, but I'm trying to
be in no snow, I'm trying.
Speaker 1 (32:02):
He's done that, my literal asshole.
Speaker 2 (32:04):
Ah, that's a no for me.
Speaker 1 (32:06):
But if it is, if it is earlier than in
the year, I do still plan on going. By all means,
please join.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
Oh yeah, I would love that. I mean pittsfordh too.
I mean I love going to Pittsburgh, but I've just
never been to Wisconsin and that's like an iconic.
Speaker 1 (32:20):
Wisconsin's dope dude. Yeah, a beard, a lot of cheese curts.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
Yeah, stadium, So that'd be fun.
Speaker 3 (32:24):
Oh my god, what if you guys could do a
little mini tour right go to Green Bay? Okay, Menace
of the Safari Boys hit Green Bay and then go
over to Pittsburgh and it's Menace of the Safari Boys
hang out with Aunt Chrissy.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
That would be amazing. Is Randy even a Safari boy anymore?
Is he even down to do anything? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (32:46):
So he is down because he is the one that
originally pointed out that Atlanta was going to Green Bay,
and knowing that Randy is a die hard Packers fan,
it was his idea to create this trip because he used.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
To be right or die to like go do anything.
And it's kind of hard to get to get him
to do anything these days.
Speaker 1 (33:03):
I will give Randy this. I do understand that it
is hard to get him to commit to anything, but
he is so much so. He is so much more
focused on work nowadays. I chic, But the respective.
Speaker 3 (33:15):
He's actually focused on work nowadays, that sounds so much more.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
He's changed, man, He's actually focused on.
Speaker 1 (33:24):
The job he has now. I think he's actually in
charge of people this time, he has salary, he's doing
all this stuff, so like that, good on for him.
Speaker 3 (33:34):
Man, the Mets moving out, Randy became me. He's off
the grit Now.
Speaker 2 (33:38):
That's so crazy, Brett. Do you have anything on the
table for twenty twenty six?
Speaker 3 (33:43):
Yeah, these are on the smaller scale, because you know, wrestling,
I've seen a lot of wrestling. I'm happy bands. Most
of the bands that I like, they don't really announce
their tours until the start of the year, so I
really don't know what's coming through. But on a smaller scale,
one movie is coming out next year that I need
to see that's on the bucket list. Okay, The Mandalorian
and Grogo Welby in theaters, Thank You Disney, and coming
(34:07):
to Los Angeles I think in June. It's a convention
called Nostalgia Con and they've been touring around the country
the last couple of years and they bring upon pretty
much anything in everything from the nineties and two thousands
that you were a fan of, and that could be musicians,
voice actors, and a couple of voice actors that I'm
a fan of. They're coming to Los Angeles for Nostalgia
(34:30):
Con in June, So that's actually what I'm excited for. Nice,
I kind of want to meet these guys because the
last time I really went to a con and met
a voice actor that I really wanted to was the
voice of Batman, Kevin Conroy, and he passed away a
couple of years ago, and I was so glad I
got to meet him. I'm like, you know, maybe I
should go meet a couple more of these people that
(34:51):
were the voices of my childhood before they're gone. So yeah,
that's it for me.
Speaker 2 (34:55):
All Right, this sounds super fun. Okay, I'm gonna do
a little bit of food news. We are here really
late today because you know, our days are getting a
little bit longer as we add more stations like one
of five seven the point. Shout out Saint Louis, Missouri
afternoon if you're listening in the afternoon. Also, if you're
(35:16):
in Saint Louis, Missouri, once again, shout out to hot Shots.
Hot Shots. You can't pick up a menes Burger or
Woody Berger and enjoy yourself on that one. Also, I'm
so happy to hear this place now, Tyler. We got
to take you to Saint Louis Man because there's this
place called Kenricks. It's basically like a butcher shop, but
it also has like pre cooked stuff that you can
(35:37):
see right there. Dude, it is glorious. Look up Kenricks.
I think they I think they ship meets, but I
don't know.
Speaker 3 (35:44):
Dude, I believe they do.
Speaker 2 (35:45):
They do. Yeah, it is bomb.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
I've let's see, I have Kenricks meets and catering. Okay,
so I'm on the website. I've already pulled up their
their their, their menu, their meat market uh huh, and
I see special sections ready to grill and bake, homemade
deli meats, meat packages. I'm already sold it. I didn't
even say a single picture. I'm already sold.
Speaker 2 (36:06):
Now. I know you have been to Saint Louis, but
you didn't really have that much time there. I think
we need to take you there and take you around down.
I think it's another city that is very Tyler centric,
to say the least. Yeah, for real, you you would
enjoy it, all right, here's my food news, food news
Hard Mounddu. Right, Yes, I know we had a lot
(36:27):
of drama over that in the past. Hard Mound Du.
They did this thing for the holidays where they have
a drinkable card that you could send somebody. Oh what
give somebody? Yeah, and today is the last day that
you can order it. But it's basically a card that
like unfolds and you can drink out of it and
try some of the Hard Mound.
Speaker 3 (36:45):
Do Tyler, if you never want me to bring up
the Hard Mountain Do incident in Vegas ever again.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
Today, last day, December third. Hopefully I had this podcast
out enough time.
Speaker 3 (36:55):
People hear it, Yes, but actually order it. Don't do
what you did with Julianne's daughter like girl Scout cookies
or whatever it was, and not or the popcorn and
not order it. Actually order it. Uh.
Speaker 1 (37:05):
You know what I say, and I'll say it again
FM kids, dude.
Speaker 2 (37:08):
Wow. So the official website is Holidaycancards dot com. Holidaycancards
dot com. And I apologize if you heard this too late,
but you might not even be aware that there is
a hard Mountain Dew. You can pick that up at
the beer shop when you're in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, because they
have a thing called the beer shop. So because they
(37:29):
sell alcohol separately.
Speaker 3 (37:31):
Oh yes, that's right.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
If they haven't then stores, yeah, go ahead, so I
looked at the website. It says out of stock.
Speaker 2 (37:39):
Ah, all right, well I just wasted everybody.
Speaker 3 (37:41):
It's okay. I still think it's fun. And you know what,
we got to talk about Hartmundew because there's all these
different flavors of hard Mandew and the one that I'm
waiting to see. I know they announced it. I haven't
seen it in stores yet, but they have the code
red oh hard Yes, oh yeah, they announced it. I
haven't seen it yet.
Speaker 2 (37:58):
Every gamer on the planet is getting hammered.
Speaker 3 (38:00):
That's what we need. Ever since they took away the
diet code read, we've been hurting. Okay, this is the
one that we could take back and we can be
okay with the amount of sugar that we're about to drink.
Speaker 1 (38:13):
I want to say this once and I'm gonna say
this one time only Hard Mountain Dude not a sponsor,
but should be.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
Yeah, true, hell yeah. Christy Kream debut's first ever Peanuts collab.
Now Snoopy. My thing is, I want to bring this
up here and I've never done this before. Snoopy. Yes,
I personally have never gotten into Snoopy. Really, I don't
know why. I just don't really have an attachment to
(38:38):
it at all. I know Snoopy's big. Snoopy actually had
a collab in the Merch store at F one. By
the way, the Merch store line to get in at
F one like the official hub, which was it was
inside the Venetian three and a half hour line to
get in, right, they had a big, huge Snoopy F
(38:59):
one section, and then also they had the Disney collab
section because Disney's launching in twenty twenty six as well
with F one. But when I saw the Snoopy stuff,
it kind of looked cool, but I just, I don't know,
I never got into it. Are you guys down with
Snoopy or not?
Speaker 3 (39:16):
Snoopy had a big, big resurgence in the nineties for US,
especially in South California with Knots. Knots was taking off here,
but there was like, uh, I think a cartoon that
was on CBS at the time, and I remember just
seeing Snoopy everywhere. So Snoopy was bigger than Mickey Mouse
to me, bigger than Disney, bigger than anything, you damn Yeah.
(39:38):
So I was a huge fan of Snoopy back in
the day.
Speaker 2 (39:40):
Tyler Snoopy head.
Speaker 1 (39:42):
Snoopy kind of rules, man, kno gonna yeah.
Speaker 3 (39:44):
Alright, yeah man, it was really I just can't remember
what actually instigated it, but Snoopy was everywhere for me
when I was a kid. Everywhere.
Speaker 2 (39:53):
Yeah, I just I don't know, just never got into it.
Speaker 3 (39:56):
That's funny because isn't Charles Schultz, Like there's a museum
up the Bay Area for Snoopy and the Peanuts skin.
Speaker 2 (40:02):
See that's how much I'm not into it. I didn't
even know that.
Speaker 3 (40:05):
Oh damn, yeah it's I think it's in Bay Area
or Sacramento, one.
Speaker 2 (40:09):
Of those two. Yeah, well, didn't know the other food News.
One last thing for Tyler. There is the Texas Pickle
Festival that is happening in November of next year.
Speaker 1 (40:20):
So get prepared the Texas Pickle Festival.
Speaker 2 (40:22):
Yeah, are you all in or all out?
Speaker 1 (40:24):
Hard pass? Thank you?
Speaker 3 (40:26):
He's anti pickle.
Speaker 2 (40:26):
Yeah, he only sniffs them. Ha ha. All right everybody,
h Yeah. We were here super late and I don't
want to keep anybody later, but thank you so much
for listening to this podcast. Please rate and review it.
We'll get the whole game back together. Like Randy and
Julian and Eric once are our schedules aligned, but we
(40:47):
wanted to put out a podcast. Sorry we didn't put
one out during the holidays, but you know, we got
things to do and people to see in person, like
at the Salvation Army December twelfth. I'll be there Glendale, California,
their new thrift store. It's on Central Avenue, tod I
say Central, Yeah you said Central, Okay, Central Avenue from
noon to two pm. Come hang out. I'll have a
(41:08):
bunch of giveaways as well. Pay attention to my social
media at Menace me E n Ace for more details,
but just show up, hangout and we'll have Actually, they
said they will have donuts, speaking of christmal Kreame, I
don't know they're Christopher Creme, but they will have donuts
to give out people. But I'll have huge prices, don't
worry about that.
Speaker 3 (41:26):
If you want to know where it's at, it's just
north of the mall.
Speaker 2 (41:29):
So okay.
Speaker 3 (41:30):
So if you need parking, there's a lot of parking
around there, City parking, mall parking. Just walk on up.
It's a quick it's quick five minute walk.

Joe Coy jokoy dot com and our friend Fluffy ak
Gabrielgleciasfuffy guy dot com. See where they're gonna be out
on tour. And speaking of twenty twenty six, they have
a mega huge show at Sofi Stadium. I was just
at the Raiders Chargers game and I was sitting there
(41:56):
in the middle of the stadium and I was looking around, like,
oh my god, our friends are performing. Two guys. You know,
you had two major NFL teams playing each other. Yeah,
and I'll be real, couldn't really fill up the entire arena, right,
We have two people who have pretty much almost sold
(42:17):
out this show for next year.
Speaker 3 (42:19):
Oh yeah, that's insane. Think about when we were on
the floor of WrestleMania so far for a giant event
like that full that's the same for Fluffy and Joe
KOI that Chris crazy nuts.
Speaker 2 (42:33):
Shout out to our friend Burt Kreischer Bert Bert Burt
dot com. He has his party on a ship if
you want to go hang out with them. He has
his party at the Daytona five hundred. Also he's on tour.
I don't know when that guy sleeps, and he parties
all the time, and I couldn't keep up with him.
Speaker 3 (42:49):
And his movie is on Netflix. You can still go
watch that anytime.
Speaker 2 (42:52):
Oh god, it's so good. I love It's funny. Yeah,
it's funny. So check out Burt Burt Burt dot com.

and I know it's getting cold because when I turn
on my shower in the morning, it's taking a lot
(43:13):
longer to get the water warmer. That sucks. I hate it.
Speaker 3 (43:18):
I feel you.
Speaker 2 (43:18):
I need some sunlight in my life. I hate the rain,
I hate the cold. I don't pay this much to
live in southern California for no sun.
Speaker 1 (43:28):
It sucks.
Speaker 2 (43:29):
I can go list somewhere else for no sun for
a lot cheaper.
Speaker 3 (43:33):
I mean, I don't mind it. It's just like you know,
when it's freezing and it's windy and it's rating like
two weeks ago and most of my town was flooded
and I don't have a heater, so you know, it's
like forty degrees in my apartment.
Speaker 2 (43:44):
It sucks blankets blankets, so get some blankets by Tracy

Speaker 2 (44:06):
Pray for Eric?
Speaker 3 (44:07):
Oh God, literally, pray for Eric.
Speaker 1 (44:10):
I asked him this morning. Actually I'm gonna read the text.
I said, this morning, Hey, Eric, how you doing on
today's birthday front? He said, surviving. The kid had a
meltdown this morning, so we weathered on a storm before
we even had waffles.
Speaker 3 (44:23):
Wow, poor guy.
Speaker 1 (44:27):
Pray for Eric.
Speaker 2 (44:28):
What is happening as Shassa Jean's boutique Brett.

Thank you for that. Also, I want to say thank
you to our friends at Racing Canes. Raising Kaines said
that they want to roll with us again in twenty

Raising Canes are just they're not just geniuses because you
know they do marketing with us, but they're just fun.
You know, like they had their VIP suite at F one,
(45:19):
They're at all the college games. They really invest in
young people when young people are overlooked. They put money
into communities and like community sports and to help out
animal organizations, and they just do so much and being
a cool company. At the same time, other people that
we work with that do the almost the exact same
(45:40):
thing is Lazy Dog Restaurants. They're always looking to help people,
help organizations, like they're doing these gingerbread houses to help
fund people getting their own homes, and like just so
many cool things. So roll with companies that roll with us,
because we just don't work with any company. When we
have meetings, we look them up on line. We see
(46:00):
what the reviews are and see what people say about
them before we start working with them, so so support
them like they support us. Also, I know I don't
want to harp on this again. I've been there. If
you feel sad that you're overweight and you're just like
you need that kickstart to get started, please like, please
look up the telehealth company that I'm working with, Lesara,
because I want to hear your stories about how you
(46:22):

at about seven years man.

Speaker 2 (47:10):
Wow. Yeah, we've done a lot of fun things together.
Hopefully we continue that in the new year. Brett, do
you have anything to say before we leave?
Speaker 3 (47:17):
Thank you guys for listening, because, like I say at
most events, this is one of my funnest things I
get to do every single week because I get to

ninety nine out of one thy twenty five. And we're going, Yeah,

Speaker 1 (47:46):

Not only are they good people, you've never had a
bad meal from me either, so remember that. Yeah. Also,
don't be stingy with your change. Donate to the Salvation Army.
Put your change in the bucket. The government's not making pennies.
Give those pennies to the Salvation Army because they know
what to do with them.
Speaker 2 (48:03):
