What's New, What's new with Menace?

Speaker 2 (00:07):
What's up everybody? And welcome to another edition of What's
New Pod. I'm metus. I'm joined by Bort Aka Brett.
He's an audio expert and syndication expert. What the wan
To show morning show that you can here across the
United States and around the world on AFM. We are
joined by our friends Eric, who's coming to us live
from a special satellite studio. Also, we have our boy
Tyler who's joined us live from Wenier, California. And just

(00:30):
over Yonder is our lovely friend Julianne coming to us
from Covina, California. Just so quick, heads up myself and
bored a bored, I don't even know are you coming
for sure? May sixth, we're gonna be in u Kaipa.
We're gonna find a helicopter and we're gonna fly to
Ukaipa for the grand opening of a brand new raising Canes.
It's gonna be from two to four pm. We're gonna

(00:52):
have a bunch of giveaways as usual. And when I
looked at the calendar Brett, it says conflict. Do you
have something going on?

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Well?

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Under your name it said conflict so that usually yeah,
usually when you you know, set up your calendar and
somebody Alrea has something going on, it will say conflict.
So we will be allegedly will be in u Kaipa
May sixth, two to four pm at Raising Canes for
the grand opening a bunch of giveaways. Raising Cans already
hit me up and said they're going to add to

(01:21):
all of our giveaways, so you're gonna want to be there.
We rarely, rarely, rarely go into that area at all,
but it does remind me. June twenty first, we will
be like the next stop over in Marongo at Marongo
Casino Resort and spot for the Woodies Show prom event.
It's actually happening on a Saturday, so what it is
open to the public. Anyone twenty one up can roll

(01:43):
on through and it's gonna be a great night. More
information coming soon on that, but put it down in
your calendar. I know that hotel rooms sell out quick,
so if you want to try to get a hotel
room at the casino, there's other hotels. I mean, you
have all of Coachella Valley that's just full of resorts.
But if you want to stay at Marongo, I suggest
you a room right now for June twenty first. Okay,

(02:04):
we'll see you there now, Eric Tyler, I know it's
been really busy for you. The NFL Draft has been
going on. You guys have to pay attention to that.
Randy went to Green Bay and I got to see
all the social media he actually posted from Green Bay,
which is exciting. I did get a little bit sad though,
because his initial posts of when he landed. Did you
guys see that the welcome thing? Yeah, the welcome sign.

(02:27):
I was like, whoa, that is way different from the
welcome signs that I've seen other drafts.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
I text about, like, what weird ass third grade birthday
party to just walk into?

Speaker 2 (02:38):
You know, it very looked like some elementary schools say.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
It looks like something you get from party city, I.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Know, And I was like, dude, this is the NFL Draft.
Of course, the NFL didn't put that sign up, but
locally they did it, and they're trying.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Guys.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
It's a very small town. One hundred thousand people I
think live in Green Bay, and they doubled the amount
of people going there just for the draft.

Speaker 4 (02:59):
But it's one of the biggest football talent, like the
whole town is football.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
That's yeah, but that's all they have. That cheese. Now
that's what they're gonna do.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Eric and Tyler, you can probably explain this a little
bit better. The town actually owns the team, so it's
not like, you know, Jerry Jones, like backed by some
billionaire and things like that.

Speaker 5 (03:15):
Right right, it's like one of like the only publicly
funded you can invest and owned stakes in the club.
But there's still like it's not they do votes on
this from the city to decide players and contracts and stuff.
There's still a board and people that run the team,
but it is like locally funded and owned by the
city itself.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Yeah, so they don't have Las Vegas money where they're
gonna have a gigantic neon sign when you land.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
But okay, this is this all this is okay, So
we're taking shots at you know, these small little Midwest
you know, small towns. This is a Randy problem. Like
that's the thing you post. It flew in like that's
what you get. But like, don't post that one. I know,
just I guarantee there's a cooler sign somewhere down the
road that you're gonna run that one, you know, something better, dude,

(03:58):
I've got to be something better, you know, like point
on Vegas.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
We always flying to Vegas. Vegas is very cool.

Speaker 5 (04:03):
They have you know, the arches, they have the boost,
they have the casino advertising everywhere, Like I get it,
but like maybe this one you don't need the airport picture.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
You have to skip it.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Boots on the ground. All right, Well, let's go into
something that Julianne is interested in. Stage coach. Well, Juliane
used to be in the football. You used to Bret
the Patriots all the time, and then I don't hear
nothing about.

Speaker 6 (04:25):
It now because then I had like a million kids
and they take over my life, and I watched Miss
Rachel and whatever else I watch, like no, no, no,
I like the Patriots.

Speaker 7 (04:35):
After he left.

Speaker 6 (04:36):
I did not like the Patriots because he was there,
because I liked him before.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
She was never thirsty for Brady. You're thirsty for what
was his name that Jimmy?

Speaker 6 (04:46):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, there you go, jim There
was other ones, but I mean it's been so long
I don't even remember their names anymore.

Speaker 7 (04:52):
But I sort of got it.

Speaker 6 (04:53):
Used to like go to Thursday night football, We go
to the bars with Sunday night football, Monday night football,
like if there was football on.

Speaker 7 (05:00):
I was at a bar drinking.

Speaker 6 (05:01):
And watching and having fun, and then I decided to
hit all these kids, and then my life ended so that.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
It was over.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Well, I think it's totally over. We'll get into that.
But I went to Stage Coach over the weekend after
already going to Coachella multiple weekend. Sorry we missed an
episode of the podcast, but I've been going NonStop for
the past couple of weeks. And I'll say this again,
Stage Coach is where it's at, Guys. I had more
fun at Stage Coach than I did Coachella and Stage Coach.
It's just such a variety of music. It's not just

(05:33):
like hardcore country music. We're talking about Nelly t Pain,
Jelly Roll comes out. He has whiz Khalifa, he has MGK,
he has Lana del Rey, who performed the night before,
which was really good, and I saw him one of
my favorites, Julianne Dasha. She was awesome and love her.
It's just a good time. It's just everyone drinking and

(05:54):
ean and backstage. I got to talk to Kate Hudson
and we talked about my forty mile walk and how
I wore Fathletics during my walk. Yeah, and how much
I loved her new TV show Running Point that's on Netflix.
It's about basketball. Check it out. It's good. And then
I got to talk to Guy Fieri and how I'm

(06:15):
gonna be doing the run with Burt Kreischer this upcoming
Sunday and Tampa. Also we ran into Lance Bass, which
Spicy Nacho loves. And it's just like everybody having a
good time. It's not like, you know, Coachella, which I
still love, don't get me wrong, but Coachella, yeah, it
is about everybody, you know, flexing and flambosing and about
fashion and things like that. Stage Coach is just about

(06:37):
people having a good time, and I enjoyed it.

Speaker 7 (06:39):
You use the word flambosing.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Flambosing, I thought I would bring back flambosing.

Speaker 7 (06:44):
I'd never heard that, but.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Yeah, and I got I got to think, and I'm like, dude,
I think the next time we all get together, because
Eric Austin will be older right now, you can actually
like leave him for a weekend or no, you think.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
So next year, I think we're getting close to that. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Yeah, because also there's Diplo stage and Diplo and I know,
Honky Tonk, I know that you would love that. I
think all of us together for Stage Coach weekend would
be the funnest weekend ever. You guys down or what?

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Hell?

Speaker 7 (07:12):
Yeah, I've been trying to leave all my kids like forever.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
You don't let me. Yeah, I know, Tyler, you really
wanted to go this year.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
You don't even have to ask me if I want
to go. I will be there due for Tyler.

Speaker 8 (07:26):
Now.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
I texted Julianne because I was watching Dasha who if
you don't know who Dash is, I think she's probably
gonna explode this year. She has that song called Austin.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
Now.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
I texted Julianne a video of Dasha performing, and then
Julianne sent me a video back of her kulo out
in public. I forgot you were at like some wine festival, right.

Speaker 6 (07:50):
Yeah, the Data Point Wine Festival. And so he sends
me this video of Dasha dancing up on stage and
I was like, oh shoo, I got one better than that.
So I put my phone down. My friend's like, what
are you doing? I'm like, just hold on, and I
started dancing around and I said it to menace, like,
I think.

Speaker 7 (08:07):
I did a better.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Job on that exactly.

Speaker 6 (08:14):
My friend this is her first time hanging out with
me drunk and.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
Experience.

Speaker 6 (08:20):
Yeah, trust me, it was. It was apparently we were
talking about, uh, someone that's very well known, and I
was like, ooh, so and so he's hot. And I
throw my legs up in the air and I start
like smacking you know, my cookie and they were like,

(08:41):
Kevin's yeah, you wouldn't stop doing that for like five minutes,
Like at first it was funny, but then you wouldn't stop.
I'm like, oh my god, I'm so sorry. My friend's like,
is this real life? Is this really happening?

Speaker 2 (08:52):
So you're you're blacked out right? Yeah, I haven't blacked
out so long, but it's so scary.

Speaker 6 (08:58):
But I was at home at this point, like it
my my mom's place. We were back, we were drinking
on the balcony. Oh I threw up that night. We okay,
we got back from the winery and I never threw
up ever, And I don't know what happened. But I
looked at Kevin.

Speaker 7 (09:13):
I was like, I don't feel good, and he's like,
are you okay?

Speaker 6 (09:16):
I'm like, no, He's like, you just sat on the
bendy and were pouting And I don't remember this either,
And I go to the toilet, I sit down and
I just started vomiting, like I murdered somebody and.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
Still do.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
On request.

Speaker 7 (09:31):
Yeah, well I don't.

Speaker 6 (09:34):
So I remember that part. And my friend's like, oh no, like,
are you okay You're not going to go out with us?
I'm like, am I not going to go out with you?
I'm gonna brush my teeth and let's go. And I
got up. I brushed my teeth. I freaking rallied. We
went to dinner, I drank more wine, came back, drank
more wine on the balcony, and then I blocked out
and started smacking my cookie and doing yoga poses.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
So, yeah, cookie, you upsetic thing about all?

Speaker 4 (10:01):
This is what somebody would pay nine months subscribe.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
To, I know, for the video of this.

Speaker 7 (10:08):
Come on, Well you entyre like keep talking about it.
So I'm just waiting for you guys to come over.
But okay, Yeah, that was my weekend. It was awesome.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Wow, it sounds like a really good time.

Speaker 7 (10:18):
It was, And I forgot you had your.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
Own stage coach.

Speaker 6 (10:23):
I did.

Speaker 7 (10:23):
I did no one bought tickets though, Oh damn.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
It, we could be selling tickets once again. But yeah, like,
what the hell was I even going to say?

Speaker 3 (10:35):
There's story of.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
The story of the week right there. I'm going to
do that run in Tampa this Sunday with jelly Roll,
Tom Segura and Bert Kreischer and dude. I don't know
if you guys seen jelly Roll, but he's down like
two hundred pounds. It's insane. So it's really cool. He
actually went running the day of him performing at Stagecoach

(10:59):
because I was talking to some people and they're like, oh, yeah,
I saw jelly Roll running this morning before his big show.
Those it was really coold. But the day before that,
I'm gonna be hanging out with my other new love
f one Miami can be hanging out with the Red
Bull team, So that's gonna be super fun. I can't
wait to go back to Miami. Nice tomorrow night on, No, wait,
tomorrow night.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Wait.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
I keep on thinking today it's Thursday, but it's actually Wednesday.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
So have been so out of whack for like two
weeks for some reason.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
What is going on?

Speaker 4 (11:29):
Yes, it's been a mad rush of a few weeks, months, years.

Speaker 5 (11:32):
Yeah, since since Easter Man that weekend, I've just been
My mind has just been in a melt.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
I don't know what it is.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
I know it's just like back to back events and things.
I'm sure you're really busy with the draft. I've been
living out in Coachella for a whole month now, going
back and forth. But I will say this. I finished
building my Red Bull Lego F one, and then I
bought another Lego yesterday. Julianne be disappointed in me. Nice am,

(12:02):
I bought the McLaren extremely okay, how about this?

Speaker 1 (12:05):
Okay, okay, hold on, hold, you bought the McLaren one. Yes,
So I'm gonna be honest right now and let me
grab this real quick.

Speaker 4 (12:14):
Okay, because we could see it literally this morning.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
No, because I want to make sure I got the
name right, So shut up right literally this morning I
went to Target to go grab it. The new eight
and ten piece Fast and Furious Toyota Super okay four,
the orange car from the first movie. This will be
built by the end of this weekend.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
Nice. Now, all right, I'm gonna propose something to you, guys.
I want to try to figure this out. When do
we all probably have a day off that we can
meet together Saturday Sunday.

Speaker 5 (12:49):
Now the off season's going, I'm off most Saturday Sundays
as long as like, I mean, I have hockey on Saturdays.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
Okay, but like that's a night thing, all right.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
I have a pretty wild idea, guys.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
Okay, ready, I do like wild.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
Okay, Julianne, are you down? I think that we should
all get together, okay and have a couple of drinks
as we build legos.

Speaker 6 (13:13):
Are you can this be at your house?

Speaker 7 (13:19):
And can we go swimming?

Speaker 2 (13:20):
I mean, well I was thinking actually because oh actually
we can go swimming. But check this out. I'll stinking
and making it a little more convenient for you guys,
and maybe do it because I know the people at
Villain's Brewing in Anaheim, And I don't know if you
know this Villain's Brewing has a pool at it. It does.

Speaker 7 (13:41):
I did not know that they do.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
And they have like these cool like little hangout pods
that you could rent out for like you and your
friends if you want to watch like a game or
something like that.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
And I've seen this place pop up so many times.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Yeah I have too, and I've never been but I've
wanted to.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Yeah, they have a pool.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
Dude.

Speaker 4 (13:59):
Everyone I know goes to Villains all the time. I
have yet to go. I really want to be there.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
Yes, right, So whether it's Legos? Now, are you guys
down to be dorks and build Legos and in the public?

Speaker 7 (14:12):
Can we do this?

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Hello?

Speaker 7 (14:14):
Take me now?

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Well this weekend again, I'll be in Miami.

Speaker 7 (14:19):
Oh yeah, sorry, sorry, sorry, I get excited.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
Okay, not to get dork here, but can I substitute
Legos for the one of ten Gunda model kits that
I have in a box that I still need to build?

Speaker 2 (14:32):
This is a Lego party, dude? Fine, are you guys down?

Speaker 1 (14:37):
I mean, I will make sure to not open this
box of legs.

Speaker 7 (14:42):
I am gonna go buy some Legos.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Okay, let me like, let me reach out and then
I think that would be fun. Villain's Brewing in Anaheim. Also,
I highly recommend they have a Sunday brunch. Yeah, don't
put them out of business.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
I will not, but I will be real with you.
Bottomless momosas are kind of my thing.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
Oh damn, let's go.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
Wow twelve to three?

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Yeah, so wait have I been doing?

Speaker 3 (15:11):
This is what happens when you have a kid.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Okay, all right, let's not just talk about it, let's
be about it all Wait.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
Wait minutes minutes. I just thought about something. What do
we build legos on the cruise?

Speaker 2 (15:21):
It's supposed to be everybody together, it's supposed to be us.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
You just want to build I was.

Speaker 4 (15:28):
Literally just about to ask Eric, Eric, do you want
to meet up at our new co Target so we
can pick out legos?

Speaker 1 (15:32):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (15:32):
How about how about this? How about this? Okay, we'll
try to do it this month.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
We can figure out a day. Okay, there's many days
in a month. We can figure out one day, right, Yes,
to hang out at this amazing brewery, Filings Brewery. Maybe
gets a bottomless with mimosas, Maybe get up brunch, maybe
see the pool and.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
Build legos is very easy.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
I'm down.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
Do we get supervised building legos?

Speaker 5 (15:53):
I'm just gonna tell you, like, I'm just gonna probably
like put two pieces together and.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
Then what don't I'll buy you the I'll buy you
the little baby set so you don't get frustrated.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
Do that for you. I'm just gonna throw this out there.
I did when I was at Target this morning, I
did see a full sized Lego Batmobile from the nineteen
sixties Adam West Batman.

Speaker 8 (16:13):
Wow, yeah, Like I know, I was thinking of just
bringing another little f one set for myself because again,
like if you get into these big ones, like I
looked up the big f one car and it said
seven to nine.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
Hours if you just build it straight. The little tiny
one took me forever.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
Do we invite Randy?

Speaker 2 (16:33):
I guess so if he shows up to anything, he's
to be devastated.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
If actually that's that's true, he might never talk to
us again.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
You guys would to brewery and build legos with them.

Speaker 4 (16:48):
Me, he's going to Kasabanda without us?

Speaker 2 (16:51):
True, he didn't.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
That's fair?

Speaker 1 (16:52):
All right.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
Well May ninth, I plan on being at the Beyonce show,
so that is going.

Speaker 5 (17:00):
Going that night really May ninth. Yeah, just bought our
tickets from Mother's Day like two days ago.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
No way sweet hell?

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (17:07):
So setup oh no, no, it's fine. Still up in
the air. On May tenth, I do work for your
Heart Radio and maybe you know they'll give me tickets
to Waingo Tango, but I highly doubt it. But just
a heads up if you want to go to Waye
Go Tango. It's happening May tenth in Huntington Beach on
the beach. It's going to be super fun.

Speaker 3 (17:24):
My thing.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
I was thinking about this Waingo tango thing and David
Ghetta he's performing, And if you've never seen David Geta
perform ever in your life, do it before you die
because it's so much fun. I prefer to see him
in Abiza, But if you don't want to travel around
the world, you can find him in Huntington Beach. Pretty cool.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
Same, you know, you could also find be at height
to Beach.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (17:48):
True, we're the equivalent of each other.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
Right, Yeah, well I'll stinking. I'll stink in this. Okay,
as crazy as this sounds, I was watching Ryan Seacrest
do Wheel of Fortune.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
And by the way, Ryan Seacrest do Wheel Fortune and
it seems like he's been doing it his whole life.
He is so good at hosting Wheel of Fortune. I
actually really enjoy it he does. I know, he's seamless,
he's so good. I was singing though, like when it
comes to Huntington Beach, will Ryan like fly private to
fly to Huntington Beach or will he go through that drive?

Speaker 3 (18:18):
He's he's taking shopper.

Speaker 4 (18:20):
He's taking a shopper because there's no airport that close
to it. He'll chopper, or he'll fly private, then chopper.
From there, he'll double down on it.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
You can fly private into what Fullerton. It's not too far.

Speaker 6 (18:33):
He was driving cars back when he was on Start
on eight point seven.

Speaker 7 (18:36):
He doesn't do that anymore.

Speaker 4 (18:37):
Come on that for Ryan seacrests. Fullerton is mega too far?
Okay for Huntington Beach, Yeah yeah, way too far?

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Ten minutes.

Speaker 3 (18:44):
How close is John Wayne to wherever.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
They's that's actually kind of faro. John Wayne's over in Santata.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
John Wayn's way closer.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
No, John Wayne's on like the far part of Santata,
like way.

Speaker 3 (18:53):
Down there, No, John Wayne. I just picked up manas
from John waits away, dude.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
Yeah, brand and I go to John Wayne like every
other day.

Speaker 4 (19:00):
I literally lived next to the beach. It took me
ten to fifteen minutes to get there. It's really close.
John Wayne's waiting for you. He's choppering. He's choppering in
for sure, chopper and chopper.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
I think private, dude, private jet. Because when I was
driving out to Coachella, I'm like damn. You know, when
you're kind of tired and you got those long drives,
you're like, you know, you got to do a festival
all day long. You really got to drink those red
bulls all day you know?

Speaker 4 (19:21):
Oh yeah?

Speaker 2 (19:24):
Moving on from Beyonce and WAYNEO Tango, go check out
WAYEO Tango at our friends at Kiss. It's gonna be
a really good show. But the weekend after that, Eric,
do you know what my friends are trying to talk
me into?

Speaker 3 (19:35):
What weeke ain't talking about? Hard summer? No, hard summer's
in June. I think, all right, all right, day day trip. Nope,
O caay, I'm out of them.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
How do you out of them?

Speaker 3 (19:46):
Dude?

Speaker 2 (19:46):
This is like your holy Grail of music festivals, d
C Las Vegas here before. No, dude, d C is
going down. My friends are like, dude, just god, lets go.
I'm like, got DC.

Speaker 5 (20:01):
I didn't go to DC when it was in May though,
That's why I wasn't on my radar. I go when
it was in late June.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
Yeah, when it was thousand degrees.

Speaker 3 (20:08):
Yeah, in my mind it's it's a June thing, not
a May thing. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
I like that they moved it in May. I've gone
when I was in June, but May is much better
with the weather racetrack. And do you miss it, Eric,
do you miss your EDC lifestyle?

Speaker 3 (20:21):
I missed that time in my life. You've done this
to yourself.

Speaker 5 (20:25):
Here, go back and do those five years in college
over again.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
Man, I'd go harder. It was.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
Because I was like, man, I don't know if I
can do it, because I feel like I haven't been
in town for like a year.

Speaker 3 (20:40):
Hard one.

Speaker 5 (20:40):
Man, I don't like we have these conversations with my
friends that we'd go. I went five years in a row,
and like you're there at six pm, you're off the
speedway and back at your hotel at like ten am,
you nap for two hours, you go to the pool,
and then you're back doing it again three more days,
and then you come home on Monday and you go
to work on Tuesday.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
And it's like bro like, and then, how did I
pay for it? I didn't have a good job. How
did I pay for this crap?

Speaker 7 (21:03):
For anything? Back then?

Speaker 2 (21:05):
I know that you were a chick, so yeah, there
was no after pay, you know. Back then, you just
had a save.

Speaker 5 (21:11):
Like we're three hour shifts at the gym, like making
ten bucks an hour?

Speaker 3 (21:15):
How was I make it? How was I doing any
of this? Going to Vegas for four days?

Speaker 2 (21:18):
Because this is like back in the day, like people
didn't go to music festivals like willy nilly, Like they
planned their whole year for this one weekend. And I
think that made it a lot more fun too. It
was just like the build up and the countdowns and
all that kind of stuff are like not like, oh hey,
I mean Coachell is hopping this weekend. I think I'm
just gonna go. And there wasn't airbnbs and things like that,

(21:39):
Like you really had to figure everything out, and like
how you're going to afford everything, Like.

Speaker 3 (21:43):
Oh damn.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
Then you know the hotel is going to have a
credit card hold that's going to take up all my money.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
I got to make sure I have.

Speaker 5 (21:50):
We used to we used to sardine pack like ten
people into a hotel room at.

Speaker 3 (21:55):
Like lux store. That's how you am it. That's how
we did it. Four people on the floor, four people
in the bed.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
Yeah, wild time. It's so cool. Yeah, We'll see if
I'll make it there.

Speaker 3 (22:07):
Now.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
Sometimes I say some pretty boogie stuff and it's this
is gonna be one of the most bougie first world
problems ever when it comes to EDC. Okay, Well, I'm
going to tell you right now. It's in a racetrack,
So it's in the middle of the racetrack. Edc Okay.
But here's the thing. The DC VIP.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
I know you're talking about it. Know where you're going is.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
At the top of the racetrack, So you have to
climb a mountain to go up and down from the
VIP like all access backstage thing. If you're not in
shape and your gas out like I am, you're not
a really big fan of where the VIP is located.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
Even though it's the grand stands. Yeah, even though it's steps.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
Yeah, even though it's open bar. You're like, I don't
even want to go up there.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:54):
First world problem.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Choppered in have you ever did you chopper? In last year?

Speaker 2 (22:57):
I was thinking about it. I didn't realize that you
kid chopper one way if you wanted to. I thought
you had to like pay for for their and back
and I was like, oh, that's way too expensive. One
way I might do it because my friend has always
wanted to do it.

Speaker 5 (23:11):
That's one of those things too, like back in the day,
broke college kid, We're driving in, like seventeen people in
a car and you know, we're parking and then you
see the chopper come in. And the next morning you're
sitting in a parking lot for two hours getting out
and you're dead tired, and you just see these choppers
and you know they're in their hotel room in ten
minutes because of these choppers.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
Yeah, one of those.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
It's well because always the first day ADC is like
the craziest to get inside.

Speaker 5 (23:35):
It's by far, like one of the hardest in and
outs because it's either the freeway.

Speaker 3 (23:38):
Or a back road.

Speaker 5 (23:39):
Yeah, I know, you have five hundred thousand people coming
on a two lane highway and it's fun though. I
mean back in the day it was a party and
everybody knows where everybody's going.

Speaker 3 (23:47):
There's drinks being poured and.

Speaker 2 (23:49):
Yeah, back in the day, Yeah, it does take so
long to get in that I got so drunk, so
by the time I was even at the festival, I
was at the festival for like maybe forty five minutes
because it was just two wasted to stay.

Speaker 3 (24:00):
It stops on the side of the road, Like, yeah,
it's tough.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
It's bad man. But anyways, shout out to EEC everybody
that's gonna go have a good time. Now, speaking of
a good time, I think that Tyler is way more
excited than I am. I'm believe me, and I'm really
really excited for this. But Tyler is almost giddy about
going on this Alaskan cruise that's happening for you.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
So it's true.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
I'm getting updates constantly on I got my pass for
I got this. He this freaking guy got his luggage
tickets already before me. He's like, is it okay to
post about the Disney troup Like, yeah, it's fine. I
mean we're all going together. We already talked about it
on the air. So I'm just, you know, playing my
card safe weight, that's all. It is, Like, I'm not
trying to get this somehow stripped away from me at

(24:49):
the last second.

Speaker 4 (24:50):
This is a very smart plan by Tyler.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
Because he'll he'll say something dumb.

Speaker 4 (24:54):
He's literally taking the safest route there. He's like, I
have everything, There's no way I could screw up.

Speaker 2 (24:59):
Yeah, there's one thing that I really want to do
on there. Hopefully we can do it. Have you looked
up any of the excursions.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
Yet I did not. I barely found out this thing
dogs in different places in Alaska, like yesterday, so I
have not figured anything out.

Speaker 2 (25:15):
I thought you would like google it and see what
is available, But there's like I.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
Kind I kind of wanted to, But at the same time,
I'm like, you know what, let's kind of let's.

Speaker 5 (25:23):
Kind of let some of this be a surprised because
that'd be kind of fun. You got to plan these out, dude.
You don't go and be surprised. You got to plan
stuff out, all right.

Speaker 2 (25:30):
So the number one thing that I'm trying to do
is freaking dog setting.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
Dude. Yeah, my god, that's red.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
That'd be so much fun.

Speaker 3 (25:38):
I know that.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
Tell me I get to live out my dream of
and snow dogs.

Speaker 3 (25:43):
Dogs can be so pissed when.

Speaker 6 (25:47):
How many dogs is it going to take to pull.

Speaker 7 (25:50):
Man run off this? Their eyes get all big when
they say.

Speaker 2 (25:57):
What now we're doing?

Speaker 1 (25:58):
What? Hey? From big dog to big dog, Let's get
this show on the road.

Speaker 2 (26:03):
Oh wow, I know. The number one thing what he
wants to do is go on a seaplane, and that's available.
But it's it's gonna be fun, I know now. Tyler
I think our first day that we're gonna start seeing
stuff is like we're gonna see the ice glaciers.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
That's gonna be pretty sick.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
Yeah, yeah, Now are you prepared for the elements? Do
you have clothing?

Speaker 3 (26:25):
We talked about this yesterday?

Speaker 1 (26:26):
We did. Yeah, so Brett. Brett called me yesterday and
we talked about this a little. And when I say
a little, this turned into a half hour conversation about
like the clothing and stuff I need to bring, and
I have started to do a little bit of research
on what the weather's going to be, Like I will
I will have to lay, will have to go shopping

(26:47):
for a couple essentials before I go, But good thing,
I'll probably need them, especially if dog sledding is gonna happen.
But I do already have a pair of snow boots.
So we're good there, and uh, we'll figure the rest
out in a week or two.

Speaker 4 (26:59):
Dude, appreciation, It's like, do you think it's gonna be
cold or do you think it's gonna be.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
Okay, we're seeing ice glaciers.

Speaker 1 (27:08):
Dude. Well, when I said cold, I meant like, do
you think it's gonna be like twenty or thirty or
do you think we'll be all right? So like that,
that's what I meant my like.

Speaker 3 (27:17):
Calling to be a cool eighty degrees.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
Yeah eighty, I said it was probably gonna be somewhere
between forty and.

Speaker 6 (27:23):
Fifty, all right, thirty in Massachusetts. Like, so I would
assume Alaska is like ten.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
He's like make a short sleeve shirt for long sleep shirts.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
So do you guys realize that I got to live
with this guy for a week.

Speaker 6 (27:34):
That was all.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
So choosing. Just like they have kids, you chose, Tyler.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
I am a big kid at heart.

Speaker 7 (27:45):
Yes, your child for the week.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
Do you feel legs on the ship?

Speaker 1 (27:50):
I mean, to be fair, you didn't say no to that, so.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
We'll do them together, Tyler. But yeah, I'm super excited
for the trip. I know we keep on talking about
on the podcast, but more and more things just keep
on popping up when it comes to this. So yeah,
you are are you? You're all set? You're you have
your plane tickets to Vancouver. You're gonna be out on
your own for a whole day in Vancouver.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
Yeah, so I have have I have so no, I'm
I'm triple checking everything. Dog, I wiore a fanny pack
if I have to to keep this stuff together.

Speaker 5 (28:24):
But anti mugger f Yeah, I was gonna say that anyways.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
Uh No, Like I I've started thinking all this through,
so I've I need to go pick up Like I said,
I need to go pick up some more clothes. I
need to go pick up a new luggage case, which
should be no big deal. And then I think the
last thing I really need to do is just book
the hotel for Vancouver. But I was gonna do that
maybe about two weeks out anyway, So yeah, I think

(28:51):
we're I think we're all set for the most part.
Just got to pick up a couple of things and
be good to go.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Anyways, all right, you guys want some food news real quick?
Yeah all right. I don't know if you got shot
it yet, but shout out to Morgan. She brought it
into the studio. I've been looking for it. Dubui chocolate
is everywhere, and now there is a supply shortage of
pistachios because pistachios are used in in Dubai chocolate. Have
you tried it yet, anybody?

Speaker 3 (29:17):
Nope?

Speaker 2 (29:17):
No, baby, so nope, do you like pistachios?

Speaker 3 (29:20):
I was gonna say, du buy chocolate or pistachios. I've
had plenty of pistachios.

Speaker 6 (29:23):
Yeah, so, well it's chocolate over the pistachio, correct.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
Yeah, and so it's become so popular that pistachios are
starting to have a shortage.

Speaker 7 (29:32):
Oh.

Speaker 6 (29:33):
I don't know how Kevin's gonna feel about that, because
he loves his pistachios.

Speaker 7 (29:37):
Are pistachios is how he says staschios.

Speaker 6 (29:40):
I hate when he says that, sohio, But they do
sound good. I mean anything covered in chocolate, give it
to me, right.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
I highly recommend checking out the Dubai chocolate. It is
really really good. Chris y Kreme has announced a pac
Man Donuts case where you get different arcade looking donuts
all in or all out.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
It's nice.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
Now check us out. Something must be going on with
pac Man because our friends at Suavecito, who make the
Pomme Company, they're doing a bunch of collaborations with pac
Man right now.

Speaker 4 (30:13):
And did you see what they did for Angel Stadium?
Now they put in a giant pac Man arcade inside
of Angel Stadium.

Speaker 2 (30:21):
Oh, speaking of Angels, I might go to a game
thanks to our friends at Sokal Toyota and do some
stuff there. You guys want to go? Yes, all right, Tyler.
Tyler is always down.

Speaker 1 (30:36):
No, it's free.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
I know that they're playing the Dodgers soon. I don't
know if it's going to be the Dodgers game, but
we'll find out.

Speaker 4 (30:42):
I really want to go try their food game because
the things that Tyler has posted on social media from
their hardcore Angels fans exactly exactly. It looks out of
this world. But also in the pac Man arcade area,
they have some Japanese.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
Like let's go.

Speaker 3 (31:00):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
So two things real quick. Number one, I have just
realized that on May twenty second, so in a give
a take about three weeks, it is the official forty
fifth anniversary of pac Man, so that would explain everything
going on. Okay, And number two, so me and Randy
were actually thinking about going to the Dodger game later

(31:23):
this afternoon. We're doing this on a Wednesday because the
game was literally at noon. Yeah, the game was literally
at noon. Now, we were thinking about this earlier in
the week. Parking is forty dollars. The cheapest ticket for
a noon game was forty five dollars. On top of that,
you get a beer and a hot dog. You're looking
at paying maybe about one hundred and twenty one hundred
twenty five bucks for the day, right, And then Randy
brought up the idea, what if we just go to

(31:44):
Angel Stadium on Thursday night? And I looked it up.
Parking is twenty dollars at Angel Stadium, so you're already
half off that.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (31:50):
Yeah, we can get into the game for five bucks. Dude.

Speaker 2 (31:54):
They need bodies, like, dude, they need they need size
again so much they started Eric can even time more
than this.

Speaker 1 (32:02):
They actually started a little hot and everybody's like, oh,
are the Angels back? And Eric's thing was like, it'd
be the funniest thing ever if Tyler left and the
Angels suddenly got good again.

Speaker 5 (32:10):
I'm actually kind of rooting for the Angels this year
because I want them to be good and Tyler to
not be able to experience it and have any enjoy.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
Well, unfortunately for Eric, they are once again terrible and
dead last in their divisions.

Speaker 2 (32:23):
So you're still going on Thursday.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
Yeah, it's five bucks, dude, Like, yeah, I'm gonna go
in for I'm going to go in and get drunk.
It's amazing, all right, good. How about this?

Speaker 2 (32:32):
Anybody eat fruity pebbles while but yeah.

Speaker 3 (32:36):
Literally had a box of free pebbles like a week
and a half.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
Nice, wait, not a bowl? Yeah, not a bowl, a
whole box.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
When was the last time you sat down and had
one bowl of cereal?

Speaker 1 (32:47):
Ever?

Speaker 3 (32:49):
One? And then left over you throw some more cereal
in in and then you have.

Speaker 2 (32:53):
Yeah, every time you like, I pretty much eat half
the box if it's a regular sized box.

Speaker 3 (32:57):
I just need pretty pebble. Dude, you can really pack
them in a bowl of pebble.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
Okay, power rank Top three cereals.

Speaker 5 (33:06):
Frosted mini wheats, fruity pebbles, frost flakes with bananas, Oh
with bananas.

Speaker 1 (33:12):
Yeah, I will say cinnamon, toast, crunch, capping crunch, and tricks.

Speaker 3 (33:20):
Honestly, your mouth is raw those things. Every one of
those cereals screw up your mouth so bad.

Speaker 1 (33:25):
It's true. Uh Honestly, I say tricks, but it's a
pretty close tie between tricks and lucky charmescuse luckys are
pretty tricks.

Speaker 3 (33:31):
That's a that's a sleeper. That's a good one.

Speaker 6 (33:34):
Oh yeah, Okay, I'm gonna go from like healthiest to worst,
and I would say, honey, bunches of boats, then Kicks,
then Lucky Charms and then cinnamon cinnamon TOAs Crunch.

Speaker 1 (33:50):
I gotta, I actually gotta be real about something. I'm
really glad. Jules mentioned it kicks. Very underrated Cereal.

Speaker 6 (33:56):
Yeah, thank you, Yeah it is.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
Well, Mine would be Life Cereal. Okay, life hasn't got
a shout out, Simon toast Crunch. And then Raisin Bran. Dude,
Raisin brand wears straight, just mush like I'm gonna pour
milk in it and I'm just gonna let it sit
and it's so good.

Speaker 6 (34:16):
You gotta get those raisins really like filled with milk,
otherwise they chewing on them or hurt your jaw.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
Yeah, I love it.

Speaker 4 (34:25):
I would go healthiest honey nut cheerios. There's something so
simple about I've always enjoyed Lucky Charms, chips, a hoy.

Speaker 6 (34:36):
Hoy.

Speaker 3 (34:36):
The cookie cookie.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Yeah that I know what you were talking about.

Speaker 4 (34:41):
Yeah, thank you, Oh yeah, cookies.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
I'd even say what the fruity pebbles news was. It
was they have a limited edition strawberries and cream flavor.
Just fy, if you're interested.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
I do have one question then I to know and
I just I just have to make sure everybody here
pours cereal and then the milk, right, Yes, you're kind.

Speaker 2 (34:59):
Of sir, pours the milk.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
And there's psychos out there. There's psychos out there that
will pour the milk and then the cereal after out there.

Speaker 6 (35:09):
What Yeah, And I stopped her in her tracks. I said,
what are you doing? Yeah, you don't do.

Speaker 7 (35:15):
It that way.

Speaker 6 (35:15):
You pour the cereal and then you pour the milk.

Speaker 1 (35:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
All right, guys, Well we got to wrap this up.

sold a ton of tickets. So if you want to
be a part of comedy history, make sure you go
check out that show. Also, if you're from out of town,
Sofi Stadium is right next to Lax so you can

I have from Blankets by Tracy. But you know, I've
been gone for a whole month. In my house has
been a disaster, so the blankets have been going everywhere.

Dude.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
There's a pile of blankets as tall as me that
are on top of one of my beds right now,
and it's all blank is by Tracy and it's freaking
cold in Los Angeles. I don't think it's ever gonna
be sunny ever again, so make sure you get a blanket.

Oh yeah, see eagles, go, see bears thrown as All right, go.

Speaker 2 (39:27):
I'm down. One other thing. I totally skipped on this
whole podcast since we've been so busy. We had the
Woody Show after ours takeover at Disney California Venture Park.

Speaker 4 (39:39):
I wasn't sure if you were going to bring it up.
I was. I'm like, okay, we're just taking as it understood.
We were there, we saw everybody.

Speaker 2 (39:45):
Yeah, it was such a great time. I mean, we've
been talking about it for a whole month on the radio,
and we had all these events and shout out to
everybody that was able to get in and that was
so much fun. We announced that we're gonna be doing
a Disney Cruise. We're gonna be given away the cruises
on the show. We'll announce that pretty soon so listeners
can experience, well, we're going to experience that's gonna be
super fun. But it was awesome to have everybody from

(40:08):
The Woody Show and What's Do Pod in the park
with all of our listeners. Thank you so much for
all the support. Got to hang out with so many
cool people and all the people that we've been hanging
with for the past like ten years here in Los
Angeles for eleven years now. Such a fun night. And
if you didn't get in, I'm so so sorry. We'll
do our best to make it happen again, really really soon.
But Eric, Julianne, Tyler, you guys had a good times.

Speaker 7 (40:32):
That's the best, always nice.

Speaker 4 (40:34):
It was cool because all of us were in the
same area at one point. The downside was we didn't
get a photo whatsoever. Yeah, but at the same point
we were all the same area all together, which is
very very rare for us. Yeah, And I mean Eric
was going to be closer to us at one point,
and then something about Tyler BigDog and him and taking
a spot or something, and then Tyler, you some extra.

Speaker 2 (40:58):
You know whatever, Oh extra randos Tyler never couldn't be
very bad.

Speaker 3 (41:06):
There's photos video.

Speaker 2 (41:09):
Well, anyways, such a good time. Thank you so much, Tyler.
You have any thing to say before we leave?

Speaker 1 (41:14):
Actually no, I really don't. This time kind of weird, Okay.

Speaker 7 (41:17):
Julianne, I'm speechless too. I have nothing sown. I got
nothing I know.

Speaker 6 (41:23):
Actually, actually I was thinking about saying this and then
I thought maybe not. But I just want to give
a shout out to Felicity, my daughter, because she tried
out for a solo choir spot for her school and
she got it.

Speaker 7 (41:38):
And she's so excited, I know.

Speaker 6 (41:41):
So I'm happy for her and she's doing so good
and I can't wait to hear her singer solo.

Speaker 2 (41:47):
Oh it's growing so fast, you know she is?

Speaker 8 (41:49):
She?

Speaker 2 (41:50):
Oh, can I tell you my favorite part of the
night of the WAITI show after Hours takeover, because she
literally asked me, Like I'm not calling her dumb, but
I'm saying literally the dumbest question ever. She runs up
to me and all she says is where's my mom?
And I go she's at the bar. You know, why, girl,

(42:16):
why are you asking me? You already know the answer.
See what I was Yeah for real?

Speaker 1 (42:22):
All right, okay, I actually did have one thing. Oh yeah,
so if you want to go to the movies but
you have no one to go with, just go alone.
Go to the movies alone as an underrated experience. That
right before the takeover, I had time to kill. I
went to the Irvine Spectrum because they were showing Sinners
in seventy milimeter imax.

Speaker 2 (42:43):
I thought you and Randy had a date.

Speaker 1 (42:45):
No, so he went Sunday night. I went Monday. First off,
absolutely great movie, really fun to watch. The best part
is I was picking my seat and there were a
bunch of other people there solo, and none of us
could sit away from each other because the website wouldn't
let us pick see that were won away from each other,
so we all just sat together. It was really weird,
but it was dope. Made new friends, Yeah, I've made
new friends. Second, I went to go see another movie

(43:08):
after that, because I still had more time to kill.
I went to go see Drop, actually pretty decent movie,
and I had the entire theater by myself. I was
just chilling. It was just me. It was great.

Speaker 2 (43:19):
By yourself, people, dog, This is.

Speaker 4 (43:21):
What Julian I'm saying for months on this podcast.

Speaker 1 (43:24):
I took so the reason I had a lot of
free time this day. I took the day off work
for the takeover because I didn't want to be driving
all the way from Santa Monica to Anaheim and prime
rush hour. So I'm just like, we're gonna take the
day off. Let's go watch the movies I've been mean
to watch. Drop is really good, Centers is really good.
If you want to go to the movies and you
have no one to go with, go by yourself. It's
so much shopping.

Speaker 3 (43:45):
So I'm gonna connect the dots real quick.

Speaker 5 (43:46):
We were in a text thread that day, so that
was obviously two movies for Tyler Disney Takeover. April twenty first,
twenty twenty five. Yeah, he textas, today has been a
great day, always in his mind. April twenty first, twenty five,
Today has been a great day. The day the Pope died.

Speaker 2 (44:05):
Wow texted me that on the day the Pope passed away.

Speaker 7 (44:13):
You, I guess he's the one who made great day, Tyler.

Speaker 1 (44:18):
Christian Fine, today has been a great day. Eric Wow,
dude celebrating the Pope's death. Me hashtag not my religion.
So let's you know how that goes.

Speaker 7 (44:27):
Oh, ouch, that's rude.

Speaker 3 (44:31):
That's a downer.

Speaker 2 (44:33):
See him later tonight at the Improv Guys or the
laugh Factory Flappers.

Speaker 4 (44:42):
They have a standard there, Okay, higher standard.

Speaker 2 (44:45):
Thank you so much for listening this podcast. Please rate
and review it. We'd love to see you and you
Kaipa going down in twelve. That is happening May sixth,
two pm to four pm. We are rarely in this area,
so make sure you you come on out. We'll have
a bunch of stuff to give away. If you come
on out, I'm sure you'll probably walk away with at

(45:06):
least something of something. I don't know, but myself and
Bart will be there enjoying some delicious raisin canes, cooked
to order, chicken fingers, crinkled cut fries, Texas Toast wholeslaw,
fresh Tease, fresh lemonades, and that legendary cane sauce. Can
you tell I do commercials for raisin canes?

Speaker 7 (45:23):
No, not at all.

Speaker 2 (45:25):
We'll see you next week.

Speaker 3 (45:26):
