Speaker 1 (00:00):
So I would say when I live out of home,
I give it a little bit more well lenience, like
before it goes into the wash, because because you're not
doing the washing, because I'm doing the washing. Yeah, because.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Where's your Head At? Is a podcast that talks full things. Right,
Hold on a sec, let's give this a refresh.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Hi.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
I'm Anna and I'm Matt, and we are now too
newlywed not to each other. Just a female and male
best friend here for the good, the bad, and the
ugly times and.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Exploring adulthood, family relationships, dilemmas.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
And whatever else we have the mental capacity to deal with.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Come get the lowdown.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
This is your male and female perspective.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
So, Matt, where's your head at?

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Good morning Anna, She's just choking on her Smith's original
chips and she just powered hoe down what's the word
for it, smashed down? Before this today's episod.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
The Baby's hungry? You know what?

Speaker 2 (01:02):
We're actually relieved that I'm here because over the weekend,
I genuinely, in my heart of hearts, thought I was
going into labor.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Even texted me, so I'm going into labor.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
I still think I am going into as your water broke.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
No my water hasn't broke. There's also a mucus plug
that needs to fall out.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
Right, Oh, what's that full of mucus like snart kind.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Of thing from the baby or from you and from
this cervix area. I think like kind of like is
formed there so that it stops any like diseases getting
into the baby.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
Really schooled right now.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
I'm just interested in this so interested.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
We're also standing because my back saw my hips.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
I think it's a good thing to stand. I find
that I lean on the desk a lot once. I'm
not actually taking the weight on my legs, so I
should probably do that. But then if I stand up straight,
I need with the microphone if I'm getting you to
the whole standing up thing. Anna. I saw a TikTok
over the weekend that I thought i'd bring into this podcast.
Please Hey, miss and Andy, funny guys they spoke from

(02:11):
and they spoke on their podcast about how long they
think it is acceptable to wear clothes before you wash them.
I love this hilarious, and I thought it actually is
a funny thing to consider because I reckon other people
have different time lengths of clothes and how long they
would wear them. For until they put them in the wash.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Well, we all know that you're a clean freak, like
a super clean freak.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Yes, hygienic has.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Hygienic is the word, but I you hygienic when it
comes to clothes is the question.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Well, let's break it down into items of clothing and
we'll see how long you think it's acceptable before they
go in the wash. Now, I want to go by
saying circumstances around this are different. Okay, So I would
say when I live out of home, I give it
a little bit more lenience, like before it goes into
the wash, because you're not doing the washing, because I'm

(03:05):
doing the washing. Yeah, because so I give it a
little bit more Oh, that could have another couple of days. Well,
because I'm doing the washing. But let's start off with
a jumper.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
Like until there's a mark on it. But I'm like
not that clean.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
So normally probably two weares if I'm lucky, Like it's
actually being pregnant, having this belly here. There's what I've
realized being pregnant is the amount of food that I've
lost falling from my.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
Mouth down to the ground.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Before you're pregnant, probably down to the ground, but now
my belly catches right, So I just like I think
throughout my whole pregnancy, like since getting bigger, I just
have a constant stain like at the top of my
belly where the food must fall from.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
I mean, I think, I think that's nothing to do
with being pregnant. Think that's something you need to focus on,
is chewing.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
What I'm saying is being pregnant has highlighted it to
me because now I see the stain and I'm like,
back to.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
The wash we go.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
So you'd say, jumper till.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
It stains, till it stains for me, I would say, like,
if I'm lucky, that would be two wears.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
I could go. I reckon jumper. If there's no stains,
no marks, you could go all winter.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Your jumpers looking pretty clean right now.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
And it's grey and it's great And I wore this
song the weekend. Yeah, I reckon jumper until it needs
to be until it needs to be.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
Washed, like a black jumper that could last you the
whole winter.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Get some serious wear out of that. You could honestly
go pretty hard with that. Next we move down to pants.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
Yeah, pants are getting good wear.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Pants are going I reckon they go.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Because I'm not really getting my pants stained unless they're
white or cream.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
White or cream yeah one where until they're stained, until
they're stained black or jeans or like oh okay, if
I'm in the office, I'll go all week with that
pair of pants and put it in the.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
Wash, always without a pair of pants.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Wearing the same pair of wearing all week and then
the wash at the end.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
That's Michael, Yeah, for sure, that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Yeah, yeah, because you don't like you know, they don't.
You're just spraying with a bit of after shave and
they're fine.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
He's wearing your pants.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Yeah, if it's on a first on them that they
need a bit of a cover. No, nothing, it's just
the fishes to cover some sort of if there is
something that's spilt on there. You know, something's got some
sort of scent on there. At the back end of
the week, it's getting a squirt.

Speaker 4 (05:29):
So I'd go weekly the word squirt just honestly, just.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Spray sprits, sprits. All right. We moved to the underlayer
a T shirt.

Speaker 4 (05:40):
There was a T.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Shirt, a T shirt at the top.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Again until stained, which is probably like I'm probably that day,
like one.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Day, I'm going a day with a T shirt.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
I'm not looking like, not standing a top unless it's
black and its white. Today, wear a black shirt, have
the black single it on a.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
T shirt at the night before. Then I'll wear it
to gym the next day. I do that combination. So
and then I'll or sometimes wear a T shirt to
work to the office, and then I'll wear it to
gym that night. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
If I'm not wearing a dress, like, I'm going through
a T shirt during the day unless it's black or
brown dark brown, And I go through like a bed shirt,
and I always get changed into my pajamas or my
bed t shirt, like oversized bed t shirt to eat
and there's like.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
A ninety chance that's change them.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Probably once a day. So they're like they're really spinning
through the washing.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
All right, we've moved down to jocks and socks.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
Jox is one day.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Yeah easy at the moment.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
Maybe twice a day. Yeah, I go easy, but I'm pregnant.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
I've said this before. I'll yeah, I'll go multiple times
in a day, but why I'll actually fresh hygien No, No,
it's not even that. So I'll come home, have a shower,
put a new pair on, have a shower, put a
new pair on to go sleep. Then I will sometimes we.

Speaker 4 (06:59):
Got a new do you pair on to go to sleep?

Speaker 1 (07:01):
I sleep naked, but to around the house, like to
walk around the house. So the one that I'll wear
after my last shower, I will then keep for the
next morning for my exercise. Interesting, so that loops over
this is I wonder what other people do right into
our do.

Speaker 4 (07:18):
You know what?

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Speaking of like the last shower, someone actually told me
that you apparently have a better night sleep having a
night shower.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
I sent that to you.

Speaker 4 (07:27):
Is that was that you? Or is that Michael?

Speaker 1 (07:29):
I think I sent it to you because you don't
night shower.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Yeah, but I have had a couple of night showers
because it told me I was going to get a
better at night sleep.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
To be honest, yeah, night shower.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
Maybe I did one less weak during the night.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
Oh yeah, guys, we'll ask you on the Facebook page
what your routine is or how long you give certain
items of clothing.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
The only thing I would judge someone on is if
they're wearing the same underwear two days in a row.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Oh that's disgusting. That's like even in the picture.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
That's icky.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
But then like if you're if that's if you're listening
and you do do that, Like maybe just tell us why,
no judgment, no judgment.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
You're running out of clear underwear, Okay, we forgot socks.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
Sucks. Yeah, sucks is a tricky one.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
One and a half.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
One and a half.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
I'll wear them at night and then wear them the
next day.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Yeah. If I might wear socks for the day and
then I might put them back in the drawer and
wear them another day.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
I don't think my feet are really sweating.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
If they don't go to gym, they're going to get
another brand.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
If they're going to gym, they're out.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
Yeah, they get another Where it came out.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Let's listen to this week's hotline.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
Hey, Anna and Matt.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
I absolutely love the podcast. So I'm currently going through
a bit of a relationship problem that i'd like to
help with. This happened two years into the relationship, and
I don't know why I'm suddenly feeling this way, but
I just need to got off my chest. So to
put it nicely, I hate my boyfriend's music taste. I

(09:05):
don't want to say this hype of music or the
genre because I don't want to upset listeners or potentially
have my boyfriend hear this and he'll definitely know it's me,
But I struggle so much listening to it. We also
happen to live about an hour out of the city
and we both work in the CBD, so we actually
commute together every day, meaning we listen to it on

(09:27):
the way in and on the way home from work.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
And it's just getting to the point now.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
Where I'll either just put my AirPods in and pretend
I'm working, or I just zone out completely and barely
speak to him.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
So I'm trying.

Speaker 3 (09:39):
I'm just trying to keep the peace, and I'm not
saying anything because I also don't want him to get
upset or offended. Plus I know it's a huge source
of joy for him and I don't want to spoil
that or take that anything away from him. So essentially,
I want to know what you think I should do,
or if you have any suggestions on how we can
find a happy medium. I'd appreciate or any help because

(10:02):
my ear drums cannot bear this much longer.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
So thank you. I look forward to hearing it.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Okay, Yeah, this is an interesting one. Because I reckon
that my music taste has somewhat changed throughout the relationships
that I've been Like if I really like a guy
and I know that they like a band or something,
I'll listen to it and like get into it.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Of course, I agree one hundred percent you should change,
not should, but I feel like it's just a thing
that people do when they're dating someone, you change the
music taste. But sorry, Okay, I was lucky enough we
both really liked eighties music.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
Yeah, no, yeah, and like for me again, like I
love like R and B or like two thousands R
and B. Yeah, that's cool, and I would expect someone
to get into it. But if someone's not getting into
it and they're like deeply hating it, that's hard as well.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
While she said that it's a genre that if she
said it, people wouldn't know who was and it would
give it away. So my thoughts is, you're looking very
heavily at like scream maybe sinking Screamo or like heavy
disco tech.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
If Michael was playing Screamo in the morning with fro something.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
I imagine like if they've got fucking like Melbourne bounce
on in the morning. Now, I used to know a
mate who'd give me lifts when I was working on Yeah,
when I was working on the tools, like years ago,
I was like sixteen, He'd picked me up to take
me into like the office, and like he would be
playing absolute hard style at like six am in the morning,
and I'd be sitting there.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
Like pulsive no, and I'd be like, oh.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
Like yeah, who listens to that anyway?

Speaker 2 (11:30):
I mean, look, I think my advice to this girl
is to actually say to your partner, Hey, I'm not
really vibing this, but can we listen to something that
we both like during our commutes to work if they're
in the car together, and listen to that in your
private time?

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Problem solved? Put our podcast on. Problem solved. Yeah, problem solved.
Get him into it. Obviously you listen to it, so
won't you get him involved? Both of you can listen
to it on the way to work, and your relationship
will blossom into something very healthy.

Speaker 4 (12:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
I mean, there is nothing worse than listening to music
that you absolutely despise.

Speaker 4 (12:10):
So I feel for her.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
If she's a passenger Princess and writing Shotgun, shouldn't she
be in control of the ox?

Speaker 4 (12:18):
Trying to take control yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
I think they need to find a music genre genre
that they both like, and he should listen to that
in his own time.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
That's my solution.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
She puts her air pods in while while he's driving.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
That's sad. She needs to tell him communication well, surely
at some.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
Point he's emotionally intelligent enough to see what's going on.

Speaker 4 (12:36):
Not that I she say, I'm doing work. Okay, guys,
that's all we have time for.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
As you know, I'm currently on maternity leave having my son.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
That Spencer. It sounds so strange.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
To say, but we will be back shortly with some
very fresh new episodes.

Speaker 4 (12:57):
Until then, we have.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
More hotlines in the bag for you, so make sure
you keep listening every Wednesday and until next time.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
Bye bye h
